How Does the Fox Smell?

summary: A drunken Kuwabara moves his relationship with Kurama, further along. (Kurabara) (Kuwama) ^^

"Kurama, Kurama... Hey! Hey, Kurama... did you smell when you were a Youko?"

Kurama closed his eyes, and grit his teeth.

This cemented it.

Kuwabara, was drunk.

Very, very, very, drunk... or just plain had a death wish.

Giggled escaped their surrounding friends, as Kuwabara, flushed and grinning, draped his arms around Kurama, and nuzzled against the back of his head, "Cuz wild fox's smell, ya know? Did you know? They're... musty."

"Musky," Kurama corrected, shooting a suspicious glare at Chu, and then to Jin. "Which one of you gave him the demon grade sake?"

"Not me!" Jin sang with a cheeky grin.

"Nah me!" Chu slurred, batting his eyes.

So, it was probably both of them.

Kurama gently pulled Kuwabara's arms off of him, and turned, placing a guiding arm against Kuwabara's waist, "Kuwabara, I really, really don't want to hit you right now... so let's just go find a place for you to sit, where you can get some water."

"Is this cuz you stank? That's okay, if you did... you smell like roses now!" Kuwabara laughed, throwing back his head at his own joke.

Chu and Jin echoed him, Jin spilling onto the floor, literal tears seeping down his cheeks.

Kurama inhaled sharply through the nose, and started to push, "Kuwabara... let's find a couch."

He had managed to push Kuwabara through a few of their other drunken friends, before Kuwabara dug his heels in, and titled his head back, pouting at Kurama, "Kurama... are you mad at me?"

"No... just tired. Come on, one foot in front of the other, now!" Kurama sighed, his patience thin.

Kuwabara spun around, wrapping strong arms around Kurama, and pressing his brow against the other. Kuwabara's face was flushed, and he pouted at Kurama, looking sweet and pathetic, "Don't be mad! I wanna kiss you later."

Kurama felt his cheeks color, "You what?"

Kuwabara grinned, nuzzling his nose against Kurama's, "I wanna kiss you later. I'm tired of waiting."

Kurama swallowed.

About a year ago, Kurama had begun a play of cat-and-mouse with Kuwabara. He had laid down the bait, a simple, "I think you're very handsome, Kuwabara." Words he had said before, but this time, with a little heat, and a gaze that had invited. Kuwabara, had carefully accepted the compliment, and then stewed, seriously thinking over Kurama's words. And then just as carefully, three weeks after Kurama, volleyed a compliment back, "I think you're perfect, Kurama."

The words had been in Kurama's ear, shy, less confidant, but true.

And the game began.

A carefully calculated back and forth, a slow and careful game towards a courtship.

It seemed, now that Kuwabara was so emboldened with some spirits, he was tired of waiting.

"Kurama, can I kiss you?" Kuwabara asked, lower lip stuck out in a pout.

Feeling hot behind his ears, and wrestling with his desires and what he knew was right, Kurama sighed, "No. Not right now. But after a glass of water, and maybe something to eat... we'll see."

Kuwabara nodded, still frowning.

Gently, Kurama resumed pushing Kuwabara, "And if not tonight, I promise I'll kiss you tomorrow."

"Oh, yippee!" Kuwabara hiccuped, actually shouting the last word out, and drawing some attention from the room.

Kurama sighed, and shook his head, "Come on now. And don't ask how I smell again!"

It’s jarring, how fast Kurama kisses him - hungry, desperate, like somehow Kuwabara caused the tight grip Kurama keeps on his control to slip. “Gods,” hot, panted breaths, “I like you so much. You’re so fucking perfect, Kazuma.”

The expression on Kurama’s face is heady, as hungry as his kiss and a little wild around the edges in a way that kicks Kuwabara’s heart into a faster pace. Gentle fingers trace his cheek, trailing down his throat. “I didn’t mean to scare you.”

“You didn’t. You . . . you kinda look like you want to eat me.”

“Will it scare you if I say that I do?” Kurama’s voice dips into a lower register that makes Kuwabara shiver. In response, he tips his head back - a show of vulnerability, one Hiei had scolded him about over and over. Dangerous, Hiei had hissed, and that warning echoes in the back of his mind now. There’s a low rumble that Kuwabara realizes is a growl before teeth are sinking into his neck. It hurts, leaving him clinging to Kurama’s shoulders until he lets go. “Don’t - Gods, don’t do that, Kazuma, I can’t -”

Kurama shoves a hand between them, and then he’s thrusting inside. A cry tears from Kuwabara’s throat as he takes it; he’s too tired to fight or pull away even if he wanted to. Sex between them can edge into rough, but it’s nothing like this. Kurama’s pounding into his body, taking what he wants for Kuwabara with an abandon he’s never witnessed in his lover before.

Through half-lidded eyes, Kuwabara watches him. There's a snarl curling Kurama’s lips and wisps of his hair stick to his face. Kurama leans in, biting at Kuwabara’s lip and his mouth comes away bloody, red gleaming on his teeth.

"Are you scared?" It comes out like a challenge. Kuwabara reaches for Kurama with a trembling hand, cupping his cheek. Something shifts then. Kurama blinks, and suddenly some of the heat in his eyes fades. His punishing rhythm slows into the familiar beat of sex that Kazuma knows so well. "Kuwabara -"

"Don't call me that. You never call me that in bed. Come here."

Nipping at Kurama’s lower lip, Kuwabara brings their mouths together as he wraps his arms around Kurama’s neck. He can feel the way Kurama shudders in hesitation, but he coaxes him to keep going by tightening his legs, breaking their kiss to pant softly. “I’m not afraid of you. Stop being afraid of yourself.”

Yu Yu Hakusho x Jalan CM

"I didn't see a hot spring for nothing!"

湯♨️湯♨️白書 (Yu Yu Hakusho) is a pun with the title! The kanji "湯"can also be read as "Yu" and it means "hot bath/spring", different from the kanji "Yuu" (幽, ghost) and "Yuu" (遊, play) of the original title 幽☆遊☆白書 (Yuu Yuu Hakusho). It seems Elder Toguro shapeshifted into that bucket where the cat is relaxing.

Jalan.net, a travel reservation site operated by Recruit, released a new web commercial with Yu Yu Hakusho. Many characters from "Yu Yu Hakusho" experience the limited time sale "Jalan Special Week", which is offering discounts and coupons for accommodations.

The content was exclusively drawn and recorded for this WebCM. The story, narrated by Nozomu Sasaki like a Next Episode Preview, depicts Yusuke Urameshi and his friends, exhausted from the fierce battles of the Dark Tournament, taking advantage of limited-time sales and enjoying luxurious inns and hot springs.

Yusuke is having fun with Puu...

...and taking Keiko out for dinner.

Daddy Youko is killing it!

It seems hot water changes Youko back into Shuuichi! And, we finally get to see some Kurama skin!

Hiei is also enjoying a good hot spring, boiling an Onsen Tamago with his black flames...
