wake up babe there's a new vessel in town!
her name is repentance and shes primarily for an au im concepting where all of the bishops end up trapped in their own special time out corners and not just narinder. to make a long story short she was NOT a good person before getting the crown and is trying to make up for that now (much to heket's dismay)

i like to think that narinder Knows he's in love with the lamb but its SOOO hard to like... be at peace with it like he knows he wants to kiss them. he knows he wants to cuddle them and hold them and groom their wool but its at war with his instinct to push their buttons and get them angry
he very much accepts and knows he's in love but he's Never going to say anything. theres no denial here and he knows with his immortal life he's fated to pine for them for the rest of his existence. but he's also a bit of a pushover for them and they could tell him to do anything and this dumb cat knows for a fact he's going to do it anyway but he's going to be sooo mad about it.
he would do anything 4 them and would claw out his own heart i think
he reads very
Tumblr media
the idea of narinder just falling so hard for them its almost obsessive but the lamb is busy. they fell first he fell harder kind of deal.

✚ Sadicutesy …
A gender related to death , ribbons , cuteness , the phrases “ Pure as a lamb ” and “ Singing a siren song ”. A gender best described a sadist disguising themself as adorable and sweet. A gender that is both tempting and pure , filthy and clean , chained by life and released by death , scarred and healed , the sweetness and bitter aftertaste of dark chocolate. May also be related to re-discovering oneself after being a pushover.
* Technically the opposite of Masobeau , but the concepts presented in that can be applied here and vice versa. The keywords are simply Sadist and Masochist [ both nonsexual within this context ]

Hello! I hope your month has been kind to you. Your Rain World art is fascinating. If i may ask, and you could answer, something has been on my mind about one of your COTL AUs: What is up with the Lamb in the Golden Lindworm AU? I am aware of the Lindworm Prince story, where a prince born cursed demanded a princess before his brother can marry, ate two girls, and the last one had to soak him in wine and whip him at least 8-12 times before he sheds his beastly skin and marries her.
In this AU, the Lamb wears the Golden Fleece with scales like appearance, has a forked tongue, and in one of the doodles related to the AU Narinder apparently is confused seeing what appears to be scales while he shears the Lamb, Zielo? Does this mean Zielo is not a 100% pure sheep?
Also Narinder seems to be a bit of a pushover in this AU when it comes to Zielo. Is Zielo just that forceful that they intimidated him, or is he just into them being possessive like that? Zieoo being sassy with Narinder but also sweet and soft with him when he is injured is cute. Very cheerily jealous and possessive sheep.
Another thing, you wrote that this is the genocidal run compared to the pacifistic ones where the Lamb doesn't fight or kill the Bishops. Could you explain that to me what it means, as this confuses me since it reminds of the Genocide run in Undertale, another game with various routes.
Have a nicer week, eat your fruits and vegetables.
At first Their name is Zlato. The name means "Gold". What about the rest of question... Yeah, name of AU is a reference for the story, but not so deep. I just love how it sounds.
Zlato has always been an ordinary lamb, albeit more self-satisfied than the rest. But the golden fleece influenced their character, revealing it to the fullest, and they almost merged with it, showing the features of a lindworm. It affected their appearance, their spells, their weapons (their weapons are sickles).
Narinder behaves like this because he was confused by this attitude towards himself, and it embarrassed him a lot.
Tumblr media
Yes, this is to some extent a reference to the Undertale. I haven't played it and I only know the base. Besides, I would like the game to give you more choice. Therefore, I have a Pacifist AU, where Lamb leads a very measured lifestyle and greatly admires Narinder, but decides to help him by forming an alliance with the bishops, and there is a Genocide path where Zlato kills everyone who gets in their way, and they hold their flock in iron hands. However, Zlato does this to free Narinder because they are obsessed with him.

“There’ve been many souls that have come and gone from the flock, some are just more memorable than others.”
Decided to doodle some cultists I’ve come up for in fics, had in my actual game, or a cool idea i came up with on the spot. Oh and Sozo and Webber are here too :D This is by no means the entirety of the cult, and there may be future followers that stand out too, but for now enjoy these guys. Feel free to ask about them I guess lmao
I will be putting down my written notes under a cut since they’re so small and scribbly ^^;
Brother Tyr, head priest, he/him: The Lamb's 3rd closest. Very stressed despite doing his job for 200 years. Tries and fails to be a peacekeeper in the cult. Tyr and Nari argue a lot.
Brother Narinder, head mortician, he/him: Don't piss him off. The Lamb's spouse. Best source of info on the crowns and outside world. Can do any job around the temple and will. When the Lamb isn't around.
Sister Merbre, temple organizer, she/her: Helob loves her. The main reason the temple runs when Lamb is gone. Has a surprising realist view. Everyone loves her. Romantic at heart.
Yeon, general worker, she/her: Has to let loose in demon form or else. Together with Julno. Friends with Narinder. Seeking absolution from her past crimes. 'Encouraged' Narinder to court Lamb.
Tyna, assistant mortician, they/them: Cult's head goth. Runs the slam poetry night. Also does piercings and tats.
Nanaon, retired missionary, she/her: One of the Lamb's most faithful. Insists she's not that old and can still work. One of the few mortals to earn the respect of both Deaths.
Firyn, farmer, he/him: A worker. Great with people and plants. Born after the fall of the Old Faith. Leshy's companion. Doesn't know the horrors yet. People tend to underestimate him.
Pura, general worker, she/they: Likes Firyn. Likes to manipulate things to her benefit. Doesn't like Leshy. Doesn't realize what being an ex-bishop means. Genuinely respects the Lamb.
Almer, refinery worker, he/him: Shamura's friend. Easy going. Wants a big family. A good confidant. Gives great hugs.
Grayden, silk sorter, they/them: Shamura's friend. Quiet but a beautiful singer. A shy pushover, but will snap.
Julno, farmer, he/him: Came with the 'coward' trait. Still scared of the Lamb, and Yeon's 'bestie' Narinder. Together with Yeon. Doesn't know her murderous urges.
Poppy, she/her: Best friends with Webber, youngest of the cult. Brave and tenacious Webber, he/them: Best friends with Poppy, youngest of the cult. Gentle and curious.
Dr. Sozonius, researcher, he/him: Amnesiac. Lamb is helping him find home. Extremely well educated about biology. Does not like the spider stalking him, or the mushroom.
Keeper, record keeper, she/him: Face is always obscured. Hates the Dark. Doesn't talk about his past. Has a strange locket that ticks. Always smells of salt.
Joobre, refinery worker/tailor, he/them: Loves working with silk. Has tea with Berith. Likes gold jewelry.
Thorty, bartender, he/him: Fights with Nari a lot. Short temper. Best with the drunks.
Bregrear, smith, he/him: Quiet. Knows his way around weapons. Old hat at this point. Hopes to retire in peace.
Harbre, smith apprentice/missionary, any pronouns: Hot tempered. Looks up to Bregrear. Married to Bathin, chases off suitors neither of them like. Longs to master their craft. Protective.
Anar, miner/lumberjack, he/him: Distrusting. Hard worker. Doesn't exactly trust the Lamb, but willing to give the cult a shot. Starts fights.
Fun-Gui, researcher assistant, they/them: Weirdly obsessed with Sozo. Self proclaims as his assistant. Other mushroomos don't like them. Always goopy and dripping.
Hajal, traitor, she/her: Left the cult. Status unknown.

My version of leshycat is like
At first, Thistle (my yellow cat) was forced to keep Leshy under control, because they were “the most tolerant follower” (read: a pushover) and the lamb didn’t have anywhere else to put him
So poor Thistle was just holed up in a shared hut with this horrible worm. Their bed was torn up and used as part of Leshy’s nest. The floors were destroyed by burrowing. All of Thistle’s favorite flowers were eaten by a hungry Leshy who doesn’t care about personal property.
Thistle prayed every day for Leshy to be given his own house, but he never was. They find out later that Leshy specifically requested to stay with them, because he got used to them and they “make a good disciple”
Before that, though, they ironically start getting along when Thistle snaps at Leshy and yells at him. Until then, they were just a boring, cowardly mortal, but here they are, yelling at a god! How amusing!
By getting along, I mean Leshy starts hanging out with Thistle and they just have to put up with it. Turns out he’s actually pretty funny, and they bond over farming and a love of nature! Plus, both are from darkwood, so that’s another connection point.
Basically they’re giving “maybe you could send me an angel! The nicest angel you have!” *MANIACAL LAUGHTER*

I bite my lip, trying to hide my smile as I walk down the horror aisle with Wonwoo following behind. "How did you get into books?" He asked. I looked at him as we stopped. "I spent most of my childhood locked in my room and picked up the only book I had on my shelf," I said; during my childhood, my mom always locked me in my room as punishment for not being on the ideological behavior she intended. My source of distraction was a copy of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, a book that somewhat comforts me.
Wonwoo chuckles and looks at me with realization, "Really? Locked up as in...not in a metaphorical statement?" He asked. I shake my head, "Really, I was locked up in my room when I 'misbehaved,' and my only source of distraction was a copy of Pride and Prejudice." I said with a sad smile. Wonwoo bites his lip and exhales softly. "I see...are you okay?" He asked, lifting his gaze to meet mine. I gave him a perplexed look and nodded. "Yeah," I said, turning on my heels and continuing to stroll around the bookstore.
I steal glances at Wonwoo as he keeps a small distance from me; I bite my lip as he stands there looking so effortlessly attractive. "So, do you have a favorite book?" I asked, glancing at him as he picked up a book off the shelf, "Not really." He says with a small smile. I nod as I look at the books, wanting to make this less awkward. Wonwoo stands beside me as he scans the shelves, "Are you looking for a new book? Did you finish The Silence Of the Lamb?" He asked. I smiled, "Mhm," I said as I let my eyes wander the books one last time.
A small sigh leaves my lips as I walk down the aisle once more. "Y/N..." He says. I stop to look at him. "D...did you really spend most of your childhood locked in your room?" His voice was soft; I froze up for a second, thinking what to say. I gave him a sad smile. "Y...yes," I said; I glanced at the floor. "My mom wasn't fond of my 'strange' behavior, so as punishment, she would lock me up in my room or sometimes the closet. Whichever was more convenient for her, the punishment would usually last for a week or so." I said. Wonwoo tenses up, becoming a bit pale, "Y/N..." He says.
I sighed, "Don't worry about it," I said, looking at the books. Wonwoo scoffs, "How can you just live as if that wasn't an act of abuse?" He asked. I slammed the book back down; I looked at him. "You think—do you seriously think I don't spend each night wishing I could forget that?" I asked, my voice remaining calm and soft. Wonwoo's eyes were dark and filled with pity; I let out a small scoff. "Wonwoo—I don't need your pity for something that happened years ago," I said with a small smile. Wonwoo rolled his eyes as he chuckled lightly.
I furrowed my brows at him, confused, "What?" I asked, crossing my arms. Wonwoo bites his lip and turns to me, "Have you always lived your life that way?" He asked. I look at him perplexed, "What do you mean??" I asked. Wonwoo runs a hand frustratingly through his hair, "Do you let yourself be a pushover? Do you let people do whatever they want with you? D—tch, have you always been so forgiving?" He asked. Each question made me realize he wasn't sincere but mean and ruthless. I look at him, feeling angry with how he's viewed me.
"Is that what you think of me?" I asked, controlling my anger. Wonwoo looked down at me. His eyes gaze into mine, "It's what you have been showing me," He says, sighing. "And so far, you're not that interesting, coming to think of it," His words sent shivers down my spine, and I bite my lip. "Really?" I asked, he nods. "Mhm," He says, I exhale softly. "If that's what you think of me, then Jeon Wonwoo—you are ruthless," I said. Wonwoo nodded as he pursed his lips in thought. "Really...ah, I see. Well then, I guess we have nothing else to say but hope we don't need to speak to each other." He says I look at the books. His footsteps fade down the aisle; I bite my lip, letting the tears spill. Am I really not interesting? Did he fake his smiles and laughs out of spite? Soonyoung was being honest when he mentioned Wonwoo being cold.
I let out a small sigh and pulled my phone from my pocket,
M: Soonyoung...you were right.
SOONIE: Right?! About what?
M: Wonwoo...
SOONIE: Where are you right now?
M: The bookstore, the one by Minghao's company.
SOONIE: Okay, wait for me don't go anywhere.
M: Ok
I wiped away my tears and walked out of the thriller aisle; I walked over to the coffee bar. "Good afternoon. What can I get you?" the cashier asked; I gave her a small smile. "A pumpkin spice latte with extra foam, please," I said; she smiled and nodded. "So, have you found any new books?" she asked. I shake my head. I watch her prepare my drink as I glance out the window for Soonyoung. "Here you go; it's going to be very cold tonight, so keep warm." She says with a smile, "Thank you." I said. I grab the warm paper cup and walk to the tables by the door.
I watch the snowfall as I drink the latte slowly; maybe I was over my head. Perhaps I was overthinking too much about every conversation with Wonwoo that I didn't realize that he was merely forcing himself to be friendly; maybe Seungkwan was hard on him about making me feel comfortable around them all. A tired sigh escapes my lips as I take another sip of the latte, and the bells chime. "Y/N," Soonyoung's voice was worried; I smiled and looked at him. "You're here," I said, stating the obvious; Soonyoung's eyes wandered to my face and hands. "Are you okay?" He asked; I nodded.
"Yeah, I'm okay," I said, getting up from the chair. "Are you sure?" He asked as he grabbed my bookbag off the table. I nodded. "Yes, Soonyoung, I'm okay," I said, grabbing my latte before walking out of the shop with him. "Then what was that text? What did Wonwoo do?" He asked as we stopped before his black Camaro; I looked at him. "He didn't do anything; he just—made it clear that he doesn't want any sort of friendship with me," I said. Soonyoung sighed and exhaled sharply. "But I'm fine, Soonie," I said; he looked at me with sad eyes. "Y/N, you're eyes can't lie." He says; I bite my lip. Why am I getting emotional?
"Soonyoung—I don't know what's happening; I've been getting e—-emotional lately," I said, bursting into tears. Soonyoung's face was filled with worry as he wiped my tears away. "Aigoo, you're letting your guard down for once, Y/N." He says, pulling me into his chest, "Why? Why now, though?" I cry. Soonyoung's hand holds the back of my head against his chest, and I cry. "Even when Wonwoo expressed his distaste towards me, I was getting emotional." I cry; Soonyoung sighs. "You just got tired of holding them in, Y/N." He whispers as he pats my back softly. Why? Why does it hurt? Why am I getting emotional?

Caregiver Ibuki Mioda headcanons!
Tumblr media
Ibuki plays you songs on her guitar and even makes up her own to keep you entertained while you're small! If you're not too little, she'll even let you fiddle around with her instruments! If you're a bigger kiddo, she'll teach you simple songs or some cool chords! She loves playing childish songs like "Mary had a little lamb" but with her own metallish shred!! :))
She is ALL about you having fun in your littlespace! If she knows your little age, she DEFINITELY researches age-appropriate activites for you and sets up stuff and games according to that! Anything from arts and crafts to competitive video games, she's got you! You'll be having a blast with her!
Ibuki isn't really a strict caregiver, she doesn't wanna seem like a pushover, but she actually thinks punishments are pretty boring and lame! That's why she only has the essential rules like eating enough, drinking water, etc. Whenever you're in a fussy mood or upset, she tries to talk to you or distract you by being silly, it usually works!
When you're little, she calls you her little rockstar or superstar! She also likes kiddo, rascal, muffin, munchkin, and other silly names like that! She absolutely loves being called Mama as a caregiver name, but Mimi also melts her heart!
Definitely the type of caregiver to give you piggy back rides and ruffle your hair! You think you're safe from tickles? NOPE, tickle monster Ibuki is on your back! WILL also smother you in kisses, hugs, and affection in general!
I think she'd be really good with kiddos aged 4 and older, because she can do a huge range of things! You wanna do pretend play? She's the goofiest actress around! Play outside? She's already packed your bag! Video games? She's got the snacks and everything!
She absolutely adores younger regressors though! Ibuki would give a ton of noise-making toys like rattles, button ones, and more! (She might end up using them more than you...I mean how else will she show you how awesome music is?!) She'd be happy to make your stuffies talk and build blocks with you! And yes, she'd even let you pull on her cool looking hair!
LOVES to dress up her little one in colorful looking ways! If you'd let her, she'd dress you just like she is!
If you're upset or something is wrong, it might take it a little to notice, but once she does, you'll be attacked with ALL the comfort! Snacks? Cuddles? Words of affirmation? Whatever you need, she'll be there and won't leave your side!
Ibuki's pretty possessive over you, getting a little jealous if you're happy with a babysitter, but she tries not to show it!
Definitely prepares little snacks for you in character themed plates or containers. (Yes she does take notes of your favorites!)
Bath time is SOOO much fun because she's got bubbles and toys everywhere! Rubber duckies, floaties, turtles, boats, you name it!
While you're playing with your toys, she air guitars to get some giggles and smiles out of you!
Ibuki puts so much effort into making your regression as comforting and enjoying as possible because she really cares about you! She wants you to have the treatment you deserve and it makes her happy whenever you're happy. The warmth she feels from your smiles and giggles melts her heart in a way she didn't know was possible
"Okay, rockstar! Bathtime's over....BUT how about we get your favorite cartoon playing! That's my baby!"

Kallamar the Coward, Pt 2: Famine and Pestilence
Expanding on my previous Kallamar headcanon, I wanted to go more in depth on these two, particularly because of how often I see fanon treat their relationship as kind of one note (IE "Heket is the strong girlboss and Kallamar is the wimp so lets see her push him around and bully him cuz it's funny har har har").
It's easy to presume that after the sealing of The One Who Waits and the Bishops' injuries, Heket took over as "leader" of the Old Faith, being the one to take charge in meetings and sermons, speaking first despite her injuries, commanding the others, and being especially mindful and doting of Shamura and concerned over their mental state.
Heket isn't particularly strong. She's only a bit stronger than Leshy. In fact, by the time you reach her, it's pretty easy for your Cult to have grown enough that she's practically a pushover compared to how limited you are when you only have Darkwood and the starting Cult facilities available to you.
The second youngest ended up being promoted to a parental figure, due to the eldest being in no state to lead, and the second eldest having evidently broken down from the stress and nobody acknowledging he had his own trauma despite how "light" his injuries were compared to everyone else.
I think Heket's view of her elder brother would have definitely been damaged after she was forced to step up due to his failings. But even then... I think she does care about him. Unlike how instantly ready Narinder and even Shamura are to criticize Kallamar, and unlike how the common fanon portrayal is ready to have all of the bishops tear Kallamar apart for the sake of the joke of him being a flat character, Heket never directly insults him. At most she's pushy and commanding and hard on him.
I'd like to think she wants him to help again. To get out of whatever funk he's in and be the responsible one that took care of her and Leshy and Shamura at the start. So she pushes, tries to get him to take charge. She knows her own weakness even if she won't admit it. She wants, needs him to be the Bishop she knows he can be, knows he used to be. Even in his cowardice and unwillingness to move she still has him as the second in command and wants him to work together with her to manage the Old Faith and, once the game happens, deal with the Lamb.
But dealing with trauma isn't as easy as just giving the victim a "push" to try to make them get over it. Heket is tragically unaware that if anything, her trying to force Kallamar out of his comfort zone might actually be making things worse, making him recede deeper and deeper into his anxieties, failures, and resentment.
Just look at how doting Heket always is towards Shamura. Even after all that's happened (even after everything was Shamura's fault it was their fault all their fault everyone is like this now), Heket looks up to Shamura the most, follows along everything they say, tries to do what she thinks will make Shamura proud. Even when Shamura hasn't even tried to hide that Narinder the traitor is and always will be their favorite!! How could Heket still care about Shamura? How come she's never showed any of that concern for him? Why does he have to be strong and tough it out all the time just because he's the elder and "only" lost his ears?
Kallamar resents Shamura, potentially even sincerely hates them because of everything. But Heket? Heket hurt Kallamar in a way she doesn't even realize. Really, they hurt each other. Not to the extent Narinder did to all of them, but unlike what Narinder did, these wounds are invisible.
It's tragic what brother and sister have been left to. Heket would never openly call Kallamar a coward or failure like the others, but she's clearly disappointed in her senior falling apart when everyone needed him most. Kallamar cares enough to still be by her side whenever she asks, but resents her for always pushing him around, and for the favoritism she shows towards Shamura despite all that he's done never openly being acknowledged. On the one hand, he's ready to criticize her leadership abilities behind her back (such as when chatting with the Lamb). On the other, once his little sister is dead (SHAMURA'S FAULT ALL THEIR FAULT AGAIN) he's immediately ready to disown and sell out Shamura. Some might say it's all to save his own skin because he knows he's next, but what if it's also because without his little siblings he doesn't have any reason to serve the Old Faith anymore?
But maybe... now that their responsibilities are gone, things can get better. Who knows, maybe one day they'll actually be able to communicate. Kallamar still holds a lot of resentment, and Heket is definitely not acclimating to the Cult well and seems to have just become a bitter, angry person to everyone around her now that she's been reduced to a mortal, but now that he's much more like his past self, I can see him trying to dote on his little siblings again. His relationship with Shamura and Narinder are probably damaged beyond ever even considering repair, but Heket? She'll always be the little frog he had to take care of while Shamura was busy playing favorites.

TFW your fiancé comes back from a crusade only to hand you a wrapped bundle of mostly intact sheep bones. Asha is a ram that the Lamb resurrected, though they were missing the arm but they made it work. Of course there was a lot of screaming and blood when the arm didn't form but hey it worked out! Anyway- my brain did a thing and now I have the Resurrection Au. I always thought it'd be kinda cool if the game had ended in a way of the Lamb finding old sheep bones and resurrecting their fallen kind. Lots of AU ideas below but I don't want to clog the tag.
The lamb becomes very attached to Asha, like a short older brother who checks in on them at any given moment to just make sure they're alright and that nothing went wrong with the resurrection. Asha had only been a teenager when the bishops had wiped out the lambs and an adult when she was finally taken with the rest of them. Her bones are several hundreds years old (There's magic in this game let there be magic soil and luck) but she died at 24. Gets along well with Narinder, though the two can be a bit snippy. Asha doesn't know the bishops are who they are, but she feels like she knows something about them and can't quite put her finger on it. Her memory is a bit hazy. Avoids them when she can. Unless it's Heket. Ahsa doesn't know what it is but since the day she was brought back her and Heket have been at each other throats. Literally and figuratively. Usually they're mostly harmless (at least not trying to actually kill each other. Sometimes you just gotta fight bro) just getting into scuffles and eventually breaking it up. But it can turn deadly if not kept an eye on. I did have an idea of this becoming romantic? But i think I might just keep them friendenimies. Not sure yet. She might be avoiding the bishops but sometimes Kallamar's jewels do catch her attention. When Asha finds out about the bishops however it will be trouble, mostly for the Lamb as they're the ones that's allowing them to live. But the Lamb isn't a pushover and is quite literally the strongest person there (They're a god, duh) so a lot of angst. That's about it for now! Will i keep doing things for this au? Maybe!

For the NPC ask - as the WoL, did Kor go the First? Was there anyone special there for them?
Have your followers send you NPCs and you describe your OC's feelings/relationship to that NPC! I feel like there are lot of NPC's I could talk about, because SHB is hands-down my favourite expansion and where I have the most lore developed for Kor, but on the back of my Minfilia ask I thought I'd talk about Mini!filia. Or, more appropriately, Ryne.
Tumblr media
A haunting can be a lovely thing if you let it.
Kor always felt haunted, but not like this; not by an apparition that stood among her companions and felt solid in her hands; not by one who seldom smiled, who shrunk back — who felt herself to be the crudest simulacrum, a mockery of the woman they loved — and their actions, whether intentional or not, reinforced it.
What was it like being a machination of fate? A dozen little girls over a hundred years trained, mentored and dying for a doomed world; the spark of a ghost instilling itself in the babe for the threadbare hope that she would be different. Her soul was bruised before she left the womb, divots made by dozens of fingerprints pulling her in a thousand directions (to obliteration and inaction; to war or strife).
"Something called out to me. Someone I had to meet. You."
For fuck sake, she knew Minfilia's faith in Hydaelyn was unwavering, but to what end? How much could light proclaim sanctity while it drenched itself in the blood of children?
The answer, Kor would come to know, was that light waded through the mire like all the rest; not holy, not sacred, not divine. It was orderly in its machinations, but it was not good. A body in its ocean could still drown in it. When she coughed up its ichor, she was reminded of all the times Llymlaen thought it prudent she take a mouthful of brine — it all burned in her throat all the same.
"She's a fucking child," she chastised Thancred in the night. They'd had their oppositions as companions, but never like this — not for a haunting, a sister reimagined. She knew he loathed her concept and how she pantomimed a ghost. She knew he pitied her, sacrificial lamb to fate none of them signed up for. She knew there was a part of him, however small, that hoped his Minfilia would emerge bright and whole and alive again.
"Tell me." It was the silent question between them, the one he refused to ask and the one she'd never answer, "If this was your sister, what would you do?"
Koret was never a perfect sister. In fact, she wasn't a great sister at all. She wasn't any better than him and she knew it. Rational and a degree of separation could easily persuade her that it was not this Minfilia's fault for the accident of her birth. If it were Lily, however?
Well, they both knew her for a hypocrite.
But Minfilia? Oh, this was one was a lot like Lily. When she came out of her shell Kor saw how spirited she was; how she laughed with Alisae and comforted Alphinaud; how she brightened at Urianger's presence and admired Y'shtola's resolve. She was young and naïve, but she was no pushover. For the fright of her gift and the sacrifices before her, she was determined to be of use. She wanted to save her world and the people in it, even when everyone she'd grown up around preferred her in her cage — a songbird from another time.
When it came to it, the final choice of who should live (to laugh, to love!), her little heart beat so loudly as she declared "Me. I want to live. I want to fight."
From Minfilia to Ryne. How liberating it must have felt to finally have your identity. How relieving it must be to be loved for who you are. A lovely haunting to a beautiful, breathing sister.
Because that's what Ryne is to Kor. Half daughter, half sister. Try as she might, that maternal thread always found itself tangling in the youngest of their groups — ensnaring whether she wanted it or not — and it was so easy to envelop her in a family when she never had the opportunity to hold one. They were certainly not nuclear, and hardly ideal, but they were hers. They were hers and they were good.
Kor loves Ryne. It breaks her heart that she had to be left behind, but she is also comforted in the fact that she is one of the strongest girls she knows. She took her fate in both hands and charged, knowing her place but not letting her be defined by it. She has faced adversity and kept her sweetness, a trait admired by the Captain — even if she can't personally fathom it.
Yes, a haunting can be a lovely thing if you let it. A living thing, however? Well, that's even lovelier.

Ima be blunt. I want to see more badass Lucifer in Hazbin fics. Like this fucker trashed Adam, and did it while being a mocking, prideful little shit. Yes he's got depression. Yes he's a dreamer at his heart. But he's also the fucking Sin of Pride. It's all over the song he sings in the first part of his introduction to the hotel--he outright says normally he charges a sacrificial lamb for a pentagram for fucks sake. He's not a "good guy", he is a Sin. He can have his morals, most of the cast are "bad guys with morals" to be perfectly clear. I think the only "good guy" is technically Charlie, but there's still a chance that might change.
Lucifer not a pushover. He's a prideful bastard whose been hurt and been isolating because hurt people and depressed people do that, but that doesn't make him a soft little need-to-be-protected baby. Hell maybe he has been abused, maybe he hasn't. Who knows yet?
Like, give me some more sadistic prideful badass Lucifer who can be both depressed and take no shit.
...if anyone knows of any good fic with that description tell me holy shit I crave that.
(in other words I may just end up writing fic with Lucifer being a bit of a sadistic badass while also being soft for those close to him ; I've got ideas ok???)

mc that has a panic disorder with Lucifer (can be platonic or romantic) one shot? Just some hurt/comfort and angst 👉🏻👈🏻
i love me some hurt/comfort
also i might be indulgent in this because i used to experience panic attacks everyday like two years ago so yeah that's a heads up
Tumblr media
The Shepherd and His Lamb
heads up: gn!mc, romantic or platonic relationship is up for interpretation, spoilers for lesson 16
You have been always some sort of pushover, no matter what. It doesn't matter how or for who, you just couldn't say no. Even if your life depended on it. That measly, little two-letter word barely comes out of your mouth that it's like it isn't in your vocabulary.
Just something about seeking approval fills you with this unexplainable satisfaction. The way someone would be pleased because you always let them borrow your pencil or your power bank, or doing their chores because they were busy, or giving away your answers on an important test you worked so hard to review for days.
Anything, just anything remotely related to someone's approval of you is enough to fill the longing inside your heart. Something that fills that empty hole you wouldn't even acknowledge that exists.
Perhaps it's why you agreed to Levi's request of forcing Mammon into a pact, or how you almost agreed to the pact Satan offered to you before just because he wants to spite Lucifer.
When you let Luke in the House of Lamentation, or when you didn't get angry at Beel for destroying a wall in your room. Choosing to shield them both from Lucifer's wrath because you didn't want them to be hurt. It doesn't matter you got hurt, at least they were okay.
When you let Asmo pamper you like the greatest trophy in the world, or when Diavolo had you in the exchange program in the first place. Like you're some sort of humanified object that someone can easily hold in the palm of their hand.
And maybe when you just let Belphie kill you because he was just upset from the trauma he had millennia ago.
It's something he couldn't control. He was angry at that time, you understand. You understood.
You always understood because that way he'd be able to bond with his family again. That way he didn't have to get stuck in the past where Lilith's death replays in his head over and over again.
Of course, you're in the picture too; the random, defenseless human who served as the bridge to fix the broken bonds between the seven demon brothers.
The human who'd get all smiley because everyone else is happy too.
The human that's somehow the descendant of their fallen sister.
But it just starts to wear you down at some point. Like a pencil that dulls after so much use and after so much sharpens.
Sometimes Mammon's rants get overbearing, sometimes Levi gets too noisy with his games. Asmo's been too pushy lately, Satan's been too angry. Beel's been eating a larger portion of your food, and Belphie's being Belphie, hogging your side to cuddle to because it apparently helps him sleep better.
And then there's Lucifer.
He's not quite distant, but you wouldn't say he's talking to you all the time. He's just... there.
He'd always try to keep everything at bay, you don't know how he gets the motivation to do it, but you'd guess it's because he's the eldest brother.
Then again, where does that put you?
You're a nobody to them. Sure, you're Lilith's descendant by a stretch, but other than that? You're human, your lifetime is just a blink of an eye to them.
You are but a speck of dust in their lives that'll be whisked away in the wind.
Your efforts to put the broken pieces of the family picture frame together? They're acknowledged, but not enough to be hailed as a legacy.
And then you're there on the floor of your room, back leaning on your bed, crying like a tall child whose mother scolded and left alone in the dark.
Your knees to your chest, you bury your face in them. As if to hide from the world. You curl yourself into a ball, something you often find yourself always doing.
You feel sick to your stomach, you feel weird. You feel horrible, you feel everything all at once.
Your hands grasp your hair tightly, pulling them hard, just to calm yourself down. Anything to ground yourself, you'd attempt to do it.
Your breathing is uneven, you choke on a sob too. Hot, salty tears pour down your cheeks that you don't even bother to wipe. Your lungs are restricted, but it wasn't like you're in a position to realize that.
Your legs ache the more tighter the ball you pull yourself in, you feel your feet get cold and shake against the floor. Your body feels numb, you don't feel anything else now, only the tightening of your chest and the hands you have on your head.
One minute, you feel like the world is so small, and the next it feels so big. Like it keeps going back and forth and it's so overwhelming. You're getting dizzy, your head hurts. Like someone banged a hammer on it.
Your nails dig into your scalp, and you swear you feel a tinge of liquid forming beneath your fingers when your hands are gently pried away from your head.
You flinch at the sudden touch, and you cry harder, you try to pull your hands away but the hands holding them are firm, yet they're surprisingly gentle.
The hands gently run smooth circles around the back of yours, massaging them. Running their fingers along the arches of the bones. Trying to make you feel something else rather than numbness and discomfort, and it's working, even for just a tiny bit.
A tiny bit and yet it's still something you could take note of. Something you can focus on.
In turn, your hands tighten their hold onto those instead, finding another thing to use to ground yourself. The hands continue to massage yours, before the left hand puts down your right hand.
It makes its way to your cheek, gently coaxing you to look up.
You continue to cry, squeezing their hand, and then then they wipe away your tears with their thumb. You choke on a sob, and the mysterious person shushes you quietly.
You open your eyes, and you're met with eyes as black as obsidian and as red as fire.
Lucifer.
He sits in front of you, cross-legged, continuing to wipe away your tears even if you finally noticed he's there. He's there, sitting on the floor with you, patient and quiet, and he's, most importantly, comforting you.
It only makes your hold on his hand tighten.
You're embarrassed. He isn't supposed to see this side of you, what is he going to think? You're supposed to be the responsible human he picked out for the program, not some crying, little-
And then he opens his mouth.
"Follow my breathing, won't you?" Lucifer's voice is calm, but there's a hint of tiredness from it. He inhales, "Inhale for me, hold it in for five, four, three, two, one..." You're coherent enough to follow him, "And exhale..." You did so, finding no reason to distrust him on this one.
He isn't wearing any gloves, which is probably why you didn't notice it wasn't him earlier.
His expression doesn't show what he's feeling. Is he mad? Is he annoyed? He shouldn't have, he shouldn't have to be here. Stuck with you, stuck trying to calm you down because you're just upset over not getting enough approval.
All you ever wanted is to feel loved without ever begging for it.
So you didn't, you kept quiet. You never voiced out your worries, your hurt. If it means people will like you enough to keep you around, then you'll let it be.
But tonight is just the night where the tape around your broken soul loosens like the heartstrings that's been pulled mercilessly inside your heart.
Lucifer delicately pulls down your knees from your chest, and they're getting too numb to the point they just plop down on his sides.
He lets go of your hand, and uses both his hands to wipe away your tears. "Why must you cry in such a way?" He whispers softly, a stark contrast to the vision you have of him in your head, "Why must you keep it all to yourself? Hide it from everyone... hide it from me?"
You couldn't bring yourself to reply.
He pulls you to his chest, and you instantly wrap your arms around him, gripping at the shirt on his back. Hiding away your face on his chest, unable to bring yourself to see the disappointment on his face.
His hand rubs circles around your own back, running a hand through your hair.
Disappointment is the last thing you should see on his face.
You did so well, everyday, and he always saw it.
He wanted you to see it too.
Lucifer could sit there on the floor of your room for hours if need be, if it means you'll be in his arms, trusting him to hold you with gentleness. Listening to your breathing to calm down until it turns into the tiniest of sniffles against his shirt.
And maybe, perhaps it's the Shepherd's turn to care for his lamb.

Hello BBP can you please please tell me what do you mean when you say Jimin confounds his solo fans with Jimin biased armys? I've seen solos say Jimin has addressed them by saying "my fans and army" or something like that (I tried looking for the source of that pic and haven't found it). And I remember Jin saying he would be in trouble if he says something to Jimin since he has a lot of fans. Also that one pic that solos use of Jimin drawing fans with "BTS" and "PJM" banners (I know the source of that one). I think ksolos also used what he said in the Festa Dinner about the meaning of Army and Fans to their favor but to this day I have no idea what he meant with those words. I don't know korean, so that's something I don't understand. So based on those things to me it seemed like he knew of the existence of solos or fans who like him the most. It seems I could be missing many things that's why I would like your help with this. This may seem like a little thing but with how akgaes are moving these days, I would like your opinion. Bc akgaes act like they don't need validation and selflessly support their fave even if they would hate them for disliking BTS, but then they would show me proof of Jimin validating them. So they do need the validation after all. Did Jimin validate them by mistake because he confuses them?
***
Hi Anon,
I believe what I actually said is that Jimin confounds his solo stans and many Jimin-biased ARMYs. Not with. Meaning he tends to confuse or bewilder them with his actions. At the time, I was referring to how I'd often get asks from Jimin biases asking why he acts in certain ways such as being shy or not posting on social media; or how often his solo stans would rain hell over him not having/doing something, only for it to be revealed that he didn't actually want it. Such as the OSTs and more recently, him not posting the BB cake he received despite all the chaos from PJMs.
Time and time again I'd see his solos wonder why he doesn't act in-line with their expectations, why he's not active, why he doesn't insist for this or that, why he doesn't push more. They usually conclude that he must be a pushover, overly selfless, 'too kind for his own good', or some sort of sacrificial lamb. When his actions, to me at least, actually reveal the opposite. That's what I meant, Anon.
But more to your point, Jimin has mentioned ‘fans’ and ARMYs before, but typically in a way where it's clear he uses them interchangeably, meaning he's not actually referring to akgaes. During Festa, the first person who said "fans and ARMY" was actually Namjoon, when they were talking about the red line connecting them and their tattoos. He used it in a way to mean two different groups of people. Later during the dinner, Jimin said he hopes the meaning of what it is to be ARMY (their fan) doesn't change in Chapter 2, but contrary to Namjoon's usage, Jimin used those terms (i.e. "fan" and "ARMY") interchangeably. So if solos wanted to pick any member's words as the basis for their validation, they'd be better off choosing RM, than Jimin. When Jimin wrote PJM he was of course referring to himself as those letters are his initials. So in that example too, he was referring to the connection he (PJM) has with his fans (ARMY), not referring to two groups of fans.
Anyway, the members are all aware that they have solo stans. They know what akgaes are, just as they know what sasaengs are, and sometimes they loosely acknowledge them, but generally make the point to credit ARMY for their success. Jimin more than most members to that point.
I personally find it kinda… you know, lame, when ARMYs stress that they’re recognized and loved by BTS and solos aren’t. Because, as you’ve noticed:
1. Solos don’t actually care what their chosen idol thinks. If they did they’d listen to him, respect his choices and not seek to interlope or control him, which by definition they do. Their solo stanning experience is more to help regulate their own emotions regarding the object of their obsession, than actually loving Jimin. So while they’d love to be acknowledged by him, they’re fine to not have that co-sign because their actions are really more for them than for him. So ARMYs pointing out that a member mentions ARMY rather than ‘fans’ might hurt an akgae, but for most of them they wouldn’t really care.
2. Too many ARMYs use the label as a 'get out of jail' card to get away with truly abhorrent behaviour. Both towards the members and towards other people in fan spaces.
3. The members do acknowledge that they have solo stans. Just not often or directly, and sometimes those references are even negative (such as when they stress gratitude to their 'real' fans who respect their bond and choices for example).
BTS in general toe a fine line with their mentioning of akgae fandoms, they recognize there are people who like only them in the group, but they are usually very deliberate about crediting their success to one entity: ARMY.

Ive shed enough shame to make a request, mainly bc I wanna see how others would handle my oc idea because I'm pulling blanks
So maybehaps Jack Horner/Reader who's pretty much adult Mary from "mary had a little lamb" but ofc the little lamb grew up into a very aggressive, very-protective-of-her-sheep plus also she's the polar opposite of Jack.
i am so proud of you for overcoming your shame shackles and joining us on the fun side of the beach 😉💖💖💖 oh this is so cute, what a lovely concept!! i have some ideas which you are more than welcome to steal 😉
so...what if the reason Mary and Jack meet, is because Jack is looking to find a way to instil unwavering loyalty in his subordinates? perhaps he's had a few runners/deserters from his factory in recent months, but he has long heard of a certain Mary with a little lamb who follows her around wherever she goes? i could see Jack wanting to understand that power for his own gain, if at all possible 👀 of course, given the nursery rhyme Jack is expecting to find a sweet pushover who will tremble in fear before him. but that's not who he encounters. the moment he steps onto her farm Mary has him meeting the business end of a pair of shears;;; she's so furious that it takes quite some time for Jack to figure out what's happened: it turns out, local wolves have been picking off some of her flock, and she has been desperately defending her remaining sheep, alone. i could see an exchange of sorts - where Jack offers protection for her and her sheep (no one messes with Jack Horner, after all), provided she tell him how she gets her lambs to follow her every command. soft/romantic hijinks can ensue if you choose, because imagine trying to explain to Jack that it's love and patience which are the key ingredients 😂💖
