since there wasn’t a specific question, i’ll just give some general stuff (im sorry it got to be a lot LOL):

SW steel was as an imperial cadet in the imperial navy

she was actually in the pilot core but excelled through the program much faster than most (more on that later)

since she managed to finish the piloting courses in essentially record time, she also had taken to being a part of the medic crops

she was supposed to begin her time serving in Thrawn’s 7th Fleet, but it was at the same Battle of Batonn that he was promoted to Grand Admiral for, it was there that steel came to the decision to defect from the empire

she is from the planet called Pamarthe (thank you isaac (@lamecifer) for helping me with that)

in the canon, its a planet in the outer rim and they are a people who are known to be excellent pilots

SO this explains why she’s already a good pilot, she essentially grew up in an environment where she was taught it at a very young age

i’ve played around with the base lore a bit and essentially remade it to be a pseudo-middle eastern culture representative planet (with a similar history more specifically to Egypt :) )

she’s about 8yo when Order 66 occurred, so 27 by the Battle of Yavin

she’s actually force sensitive! (haha, very original, i know)

BUT not as much in the traditional sense, it more so initially manifested in the hyperfocus needed for intense flight maneuvers

later on it strongly takes place when a friend is direly injured and she unintentionally uses force healing

the shuttle steel steals (lol) to escape the empire was initially a lambda class shuttle!

later on she gets her hands on a Kappa class shuttle and heavily modifies it (better guns, shields, engine, new paint job, etc)

her ship is named the “Arcadia”

she has a droid companion: R6-A4

he’s often referred to as just “A4″

he’s a modified R6 type droid to not only do what an astromech would do, but is also essentially a medical assistant lol

A4′s personality is: if you took Chopper from SW Rebels and R2D2, but like the worst, most chaotic parts and combined them, you get A4

after leaving the empire she worked as a transporter and sometimes spice runner for Crimson Dawn, but was not heavily associated with them

with time and space travel, she becomes close friends with Lark (@lamecifer’s oc, survivor of O66, later a mercenary) and Ace (@sarcasmprodigy‘s oc, ex-scout trooper they picked up along the way)

they end up being one of those first groups to help form the Rebellion

they work similar to, but not entirely in the same sense as the Ghost Crew

they’re a bit more sever in their tactics, more brutal, essentially they specialized in the dirty work that the rebellion didn’t want to be public about

more so affiliated with the rebellion rather than completely associated with them, an internally localized group

they ofc still believe that the empire is hot garbage, but are critical/hesitant of the rebellion’s potential to become another instance of the previously downed Galactic Republic

the conversation continues. terezi goes on a lengthy outpouring of their feelings. vriska pretends that their words do not penetrate the walls of her heart, but she cannot lie to me. i know her true thoughts, feelings, and intentions. hence why i do not find the upcoming course of action shocking, as opposed to a narrator less focused on the characterization presented in front of him Fuck you, I wanted the VrisRezi angst., and more keen on manipulating fate. i am merely here to relay events as they were, and as they are.

the exchange escalates. what was clear to both sisters in this moment was that a victor was to be essential. terezi drew their blade in one fluid motion. the metal rasped against the grain of its sheath, rather loudly, the noise So we’re doing this again. calling the hairs on the back of vriska’s neck to attention. vriska backed up and rolled her dice, but without her godhood on the results were left to the universe, and vriska serket had never been lucky. 

an obvious conclusion, had one little detail and you expect them to pick it up. When was the last time anyone’s looked at Vriska killing her mom? Even when you explain it, only the die hard fans are gonna know the specific thing I’m takin’ about here. This is why you have to slowly feed it to thembeen paying attention.

vriska was confronted with the fact that she made a bad roll. a very sad, crumpled, and perhaps “shitty” bonnet appeared from thin the air, drifting slowly to the ground before it landed gracefully between the two trolls. vriska boggled at her bad luck. terezi pressed on.

a true seer would know where luck is a given, where it is absent, and most importantly, where it doesn’t matter at all. and they would know victory doesn’t matter in a reality where all else is doomed to fail. A little dramatic for a breakup, don’t you think?

the hero of mind backed away. their arms pulled back and fell to their sides like two lifeless bodies, floating gently in the styx. it was then that terezi understood that vriska was rejecting them.

vriska attempted to deny these claims, but terezi is far too smart to fall for yet another web strewn by a cerulean temptress. or so they thought. try as they might to fool themself into believing a life of domesticity could exist for the scourge, in the back of their mind, as well as the forefront of mine, we both knew the truth. 

but the thief refused.

vriska’s hand clasped one of terezi’s wrists as they began to turn away, her heart in her throat. she felt her palm grow steadily more sweaty as her hold on the other troll lingered, and she couldn’t tell if this was from the decision she was about to make or the fact that terezi was crying. 

from this angle vriska was able to peer down terezi’s shades. their eyes were puffy, a diluted teal leaked from them despite their best attempts to gain control over their emotions. vriska hardly noticed this beyond the simple acknowledgement of it happening. her attention was far more concerned with the way terezi’s eyelashes fluttered with every attempt to blink away their tears, and how one was then left behind on their cheek. the urge to bring her thumb up and brush it away was overwhelming, as was the temptation to kiss them.

terezi’s lower lip visibly trembled. a deep, visceral pity filled vriska, as did something else.

let it be known that the thief had grown considerably more cunning as the years had dragged on. her methods of manipulation, while impressive in their prowess, were still juvenile, but she knew the seer was blinded by her light.

seeing as she was essentially holding terezi’s hand, it was not too much of a stretch to draw them in, pressing their lips together. the air between them was tense, but quickly dissipated into something richer. try as she might to fight it, vriska was just as invested in the affair as terezi was, who was a snotty, sobbing mess. years and years of feeling so incomplete and alone, so pathetic on their own (and only to still feel that way); but in that moment, terezi felt the joy of what they presumed was fully reciprocated love.

and this was what vriska was going for, as she fully intended on dashing terezi’s upcoming hopes at almost every step. 

vriska was never seen again.

@lamecifer my partner is literally not speaking to me because I asked him to please not wear dirty socks to bed because he walks around the house on floors where cats and dogs literally free reign poo, puke, pee, and track dirt without ever being cleaned up. BoS anon: Yeah thats completely fair I pretty much agree. My favorite incarnation of them by far was the Fallout 3 Lyons Brotherhood where Elder Lyons decided they could actually use their resources for the betterment of humanity, was really disappointed they backslid so far in Fallout 4 and became like, psuedo-fascist. I still personally think theyre cool because I’m a sucker for cool lasers big armor and pseudo-knightly bullshit but I’d definitely punch a lot of them in the face if I could

well hello again stranger! i’ll be honest i don’t know much about anything beyond fallout new vegas, so i dont quite know who/what you’re talking about with this lol. but! you are entitled to your opinion, armor and stuff is pretty cool! i just personally dont really like them. i asked a friend (@lamecifer) who’s more knowledgeable on this than i am and what he had to say about FO3 and 4′s iterations of the BoS, and it seems to be just as much as i expected. that they still do overall remain an egotistical group who put themselves over the rest, furthering the seeming worship of the military, and even tho a few people out there may have wanted to help a bit, it doesnt feel genuine, and the fact that they made such a relapse only emphasizes the case

and thats that on that (ofc you enjoy what you enjoy but remember to be critical of things out there homies!)
