an important part of erik's character is that he has zero chill. intense as fuck. that's why i love when erik body worships charles in fics. because yes, magneto is feral and down to kill but charles gets to see a side of him no one else can because it's charles

harry definitely not heterosexual potter is the funniest thing to me because i literally cannot remember a single time in the book where he thinks “i should probably be nervous about draco trying to kill me because i am literally convinced that he is willingly working with voldemort.” no. he was like “oh draco? yeah he is definitely working for voldemort and he is so evil because did you see the way he is combing his hair now? probably switched shampoo. he would never change conditioner, that thing works wonders. what do you mean, this is common knowledge. anyway, he is so evil and definitely working for voldy. but of course he won’t kill me, are you crazy? who would he talk to across the great hall? like literally you don’t even understand.” and everyone just WENT WITH IT.
Hahahahaha I KNOW! Would he feel this safe around literally any other person who he suspected of being in league with Voldemort? I think tf not!
Even once Draco has Harry incapacitated and totally at his mercy on the train Harry at no point thinks that he's in danger. Even after Draco breaks his nose he doesn't think it. After that incident Harry still is all 'can't wait to break into the Room of Requirement BY MYSELF while Draco is in there so I can see what secret evil mission he's working on for Voldemort' and at no point does he worry that going in without backup could end badly. And HE'S RIGHT. When Draco has Harry at his mercy he never seriously harms him and risks everything multiple times in book 7 to protect him. This is NOT Harry seeing Draco with rose tinted glasses. This is Harry deeply and intimately understanding that Draco will not hurt him and feeling comfortable around him on an instinctual level despite every reason he has not to.
And let's not forget why Harry finally stops investigating Draco in 6th year. It's not because he decides he's wrong about his whole "Draco is a Death Eater on a mission from Voldemort" theory nor is it because he gets worried that since Draco is a Death Eater on a mission from Voldemort looking into this could get Harry or his friends hurt. No. He stops because his investigation leads to Draco getting hurt. And Harry is so horrified by this that he completely backs off and gives up trying to stop the super secret evil mission from Voldemort that Harry is sure Draco is on. Harry is like 'foiling an evil plot masterminded by Voldemort himself isn't worth it if it could lead to me hurting Draco.' He really said 'I can excuse putting myself in mortal danger on a regular basis to stop Voldemort's plots but I draw the line at Draco being upset.' In canon.
And yeah Harry cares about people in general but not to this extent. When Umbridge gets carried off by centaurs Harry doesn't even think of going after her. He's just like 'lmao bye bitch.' He straight up KILLS Quirrell in first year and when he finds out he's like 'well that sucks for him.' Tons of Death Eaters get hurt and maimed at the Department of Mysteries and Harry never even stops to check if they're ok. In second year he forces Lockhart to enter the Chamber of Secrets first in case there's a Basilisk waiting at the bottom of the chute.
But anytime he sees Draco in danger he does whatever he can to help without even thinking about it. From the time in first year in the Forbidden Forest when he immediately throws his arm out to stop Draco walking towards Voldemort to 7th year when he risks his own life and that of his friends to pull him out of the fiendfyre and reveals his presence while running through the battle so he can stun a Death Eater threatening Draco. And he does it automatically, without a second thought because Harry can't fathom a world where he wouldn't protect Draco.

Nothing like helping your little sister with her robotics homework, only for said homework to slap you in the face.
This is actually for a tag game (rules here). @yugopossum tagged me for a random drawing of an oc, while @ninjastar107 tagged me to draw Cevian, so I combined both into one post :)
Now I know that a tag game is supposed to be sent on into a chain...but it's late over here and I can't think of people to tag who haven't already done this xD So anyone is welcome to join in!
So many ideas to draw, so little sleep.

Knock, knock, it's DEATH himself.....
So Knuckles is frankly a grim reaper, who is actually a literally god rather than being dead. He's the co-founder of Halloweentown
He's the only one who can exits his world and comes to ours, searching for bad souls that need to be snatched. He also may or may not be the reason why Cream came into the town.

Imagine Makoto has never gotten comfort or help when he's sick but then after he and Yuma are on good terms, Yuma takes care of him and Makoto's super touched
Yuma can't cook but he gets Makoto a wet rag to help him feel better, let's him lay his head in his lap and just makes let's him rest
Oh, trust me. That exact kind of scenario Iives rent free in my head ALL the time. And I even made it a bit of an angsty headcannon.
~SPOILERS~
~
Due to Makoto having to hide the truth about his body and what he is, he never once let a doctor examine him in the 3 years he’s lived. He may have been the same as all the citizens, but what if he was just slightly different due to being the only “perfect” one of his kind?
Because of this concern, every time he gets sick, he deals with it all alone. He tries to nurse himself the best he can and continues to push himself to work despite his health. Hiding his condition with his voice changing mask, and it fools people every time.
And if it gets bad enough… then he just lets himself die.
He is immortal after all…and not defective.
Hoping he comes back feeling better the next day when he revives. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
But when Yuma eventually finds this out, he is furious and becomes even more determined to care for Makoto himself. Telling him his life is precious and he should never throw it away like that.
“It’s our…I mean your body…don’t treat it like that…”
Yuma tells him that anytime he ever gets sick and is too afraid to ask for help from his people, that he can just call him. And he’ll come as fast as he can to assist him. (Unless he’s in the middle of a case, then he’d have to wait)
This of course touches Makoto to the point of tears. And he allows his original to continue to take care of him. Their bond growing stronger as he does so.
His original…is a good person.
He… likes him.
But Makoto will take advantage of this…
TOO MUCH
…because he wants yuma to visit him more <3

contrary to what my url may suggest silver isn't actually my favorite character. but he is the one whom i'm most conflicted about. and not even in the 'i wanna excuse his actions but can't' way cause i don't want to excuse his actions lol. i accept his failings and am deeply unsettled by them but i also simultaneously understand everything he's done and why it happened and also i know i'd probably choose similarly in his position. plus the way i view him in the finale is almost completely separate from the rest of his character (not that i think the finale is oc) because he does transform into the prelude of his treasure island self. and like i can't bring myself to love him but i also can't bring myself to hate him. i pity him i'm repulsed by him i get him he is me i don't want him to be me. you know?

Ngl, I really think that these bylers that are crying 24/7 about "purity culture" or whatever, are playing dumb when they start with their "but Nancy and Steve were 16 and 17 in that scene of s1!!!1" like... We got introduced to these characters at that age and the people playing them were already adults. So yeah, sorry but I think it's easy to see why most viewers would be uncomfortable with a more sexual scene of Mike and Will and it's not automatically homophobia, I think that would be the case with any of the kids since we got introduced to these characters when they were 12 and the actors were babies as well. We literally saw those kids grow. And I'm not saying byler should only get to peck or hold hands, It'd be cool if they have their epic kiss or whatever, but Will hasn't even had his first kiss yet and some of these people are already talking about sex scenes, like... Be for real 😭
funny you should say that...because i've used the nancy was 15-16 in season one argument (last tag) before while also saying that i understand why people find the sex part of their sexualities uncomfortable to discuss. and i wanna reiterate that, again, i totally understand that people feel like they've seen them grow up etc etc and that they still think of the actors themselves as children even thought they're not anymore.
i don't think it's all homophobia because like you said, people would probably feel the same about lucas and max and discussions of sex (i don't know if anyone is discussing that because there's much less discourse to have there and you can't argue that people are homophobic if they disagree with you) but i don't think it would be justified either. the "but we knew the characters when they were little" argument makes me think me of an ancient disney channel/abc show that old people and girl meets world fans who watched it for the first time in the 2010s will know, boy meets world (1993-2000). classic comic of age show, look at these kids. and eric in the back (he's fifteen).
they're eleven at the start of the show and then, what happens in any coming of age story happens, you guessed it...
they grow up. this is them in the later seasons, when the main characters are still in high school i think. they grow up, they talk about sex and about having sex at prom in season five and then they don't have sex right away because they figure it's not the right time yet or something like that, and then they have sex later and get married, the details don't matter. but my point is, who watches a show for five seasons, over years and years and gets upset at the main characters having sex because "this is crazy they used to be children"? isn't that the point of coming of age stories that cover multiple years or that focus on the latter years of adolescence, that they're not children forever and that at one point the characters "come of age" which usually includes their first sexual experiences?
i don't think the having sex part is particularly important in stranger things but also it doesn't have to be for it to be portrayed (see jonathan and nancy), teenagers have sex, it's just the way the world works. i'm not advocating for sex scenes of any kind especially because stranger things isn't a show that features a lot of sex in general, the only "explicit" sex scene being nancy and steve in season one with cuts to barb dying, but i genuinely don't think the duffers would have any qualms about portraying teenage sexuality in general with the party. if they did, they wouldn't have included erica threatening lucas to tell dustin what she found under his bed (it wasn't the communist manifesto) and they wouldn't have had max looking at a shirtless steve for an amount of time that's supposed to make the audience laugh. it's been 7 years. if they do a time jump, the babies will be about 17, played by actors who will all be around 20, the age natalia was when filming season one. the characters are teenagers, babies grow up. it happens to the best of us. i get why people would find it uncomfortable and maybe i would find it uncomfortable too but i wouldn't be scandalized. the duffers had no problem having a child actor portray everything will goes through in seasons one and especially two, i really feel like sex is fine and...not traumatizing or hard to watch compared to every single thing will's gone through lol. and again, i'm not even expecting them to have sex lmao, but i wouldn't cry myself to sleep if they revealed that everyone in the party actually knows what sex is.
last question: do we have any indication that jonathan had talked to more than one other girl (the girl at the halloween party being the one girl i'm counting for him) before he got together with nancy. i'm just asking because of your last sentence, because if we don't he should have slowed down also😭

My sperm donor 4-5 years ago : You don't have ADCDDH KFC or whatever the fuck they're trying to put in your dumb naive brain, you're just too damn lazy to even bother trying to concentrate!
Me last Monday : Morning professor I'm ready for my exam and no matter how hard I try I'll keep changing the argument to talk about ants even tho I practiced like hell with my mom to not do that even tho I literally brought 2 PowerPoints just to be sure to stay on the subject at hand!
That said, since I will fail miserably at staying on track, I will use said ants to prove you wrong about a "few" things and drift the argument to the point where I'll end up explaining why the french revolution couldn't end in any other way than with monarchy part 2 just to prove my point about ants and you will be so taken by the conversation that you'll end up giving me 29/30 anyways. Sounds fair?

Ainsley: Look, I wasn't to know you hadn't told Dani... it never occured to me-
Malcolm: Just shut up! I don't know what's happened. Mother's made you feel bad. Or Gil. Or maybe it's just the same old Ainsley. Who wants to have her cake and hate me too.
Ainsley: I never meant to-
Malcolm: Yes, you did! Who do you think you're talking to? Our father? The Surgeon? I know you. I know you've become a nasty, jealous scheming bitch.
Ainsley: Now listen, you-
Malcolm: You're a bitch!
Malcolm: And not content with ruining your own life, you're determined to ruin mine!
Ainsley: I have not ruined my life! And if Dani’s put off by your actions then-
Malcolm: Don't demean yourself by trying to justify your venom.
Malcolm: Just go.
