A friend of mine and I (straight ally) were heading to her place after #pridegotham when we were set upon by a wild Karen. She was screaming at us about how we were going to burn in hell for our godless acts when she was suddenly silenced by ivy vines wrapping around her face gagging her. Looking round we saw Queen Ivy and Harley Quinn walking up and giving the Karen a taste of her own medicine as we reached my friends apartment building. Next morning there’s this huge pride flag covering the street side of the building composed of flowers and a flyer for a local alphabet mafia bar 3 blocks away.

I’ve been booked for 12 years doing kids parties (my business @epiccharacterparties) while drag performance I’ve only been doing for about 4 years. I know how to play to my audience. All of our feeds have slowly returned to normal.

Black Lives Matter.

We cannot be free until we are all free.

Last night in Kenosha, Wisconsin Jacob Blake was shot 7 times in the back, in broad daylight, in front of his children. He was unarmed and attempting to break up a fight between two women. He is in critical condition.

His name is Jacob Blake. He was unarmed, trying to break up a fight. He was tasered and shot 7 times while trying to get into a car. His kids were watching.

This is why we say Black Lives Matter.

This is why we protest.

And yes sometimes riot.

Because people like Jacob are left in critical condition, fighting for his life as his children watched for doing nothing wrong.

We must end this horrific pattern of police brutality that's rooted in 400+ years of systemic racism and oppression in our nation.

We must demand accountability. We must demand change.

We have to continue to show up.

We have to continue to protest.

We must continue to learn.

We must continue to watch, read and listen..

We must continue to amplify voices.

We cannot let this moment slip away like Ferguson and many many others.

We must continue to recognize our privilege and biases.

I understand that I will never understand, but what I can do is stand with you.

If we stand together in communion and acceptance, we can truly change the world.

Now is the time (way past time really). We are the change we have been seeking.

No Justice.

Ay so the owner of this deli near where I live has apparently been spewing all over fb about how he was at the capitol riot and then bragging about not taking any covid precautions so rn a bunch of ppl are reporting his ass to the authorities but also just leaving the deli bad reviews, mostly warning people not to go there because of covid but also because he’s an insurrectionist.
