Currently awaiting a proper statue for Amun-Ra, and need to get Mama Anupet a bigger jackal (I thought the itty bitty one was gonna be as big as Dad and Wep’s 😭) but!! It feels SOOO good to have Them all represented somehow!! 💜

Also please excuse the fuzz and ashes on the shrine cloth, I own a lot of black faux fur that sheds on everything, and ashes are kinda par for the course with incense smh

Lady Mafdet is the daughter of Ra. Her sisters include Sekhmet, Hathor, Serqet, and Bastet.

The free-spirited goddess Mafdet is always on the move, often exploring various locales and drifting between social circles. Nonetheless, her strong sense of justice ensures she swiftly completes her tasks for the divine council, and with warding away any dangerous threats.

Continuing the Daughters of Ra with Mafdet today! Admittedly, she's had less development compared to her other sisters within both the story and offline, but I'm fond of her character so far and would like to explore it further.

At the moment, Mafdet feels like a very chill goddess outside of her duties, but she still takes them seriously. She's also arguably the fastest in the pantheon -- or at least out of the featured 20 so far -- outpacing most other deities in running and combat speed.

Relatedly, Mafdet actually has a third sacred animal in the form of a cheetah -- I’d like to think that her coloration mimics that of the King Cheetah, which I'd still like to design for her another day. 

FWIW, most deities have one """main""" sacred animal, and then a collection of other animals they can learn to transform into at their own pace. I suppose Mafdet's main animal would be the Serval because of her headdress motif, with the mongoose and cheetah closely linked afterwards.

Netkher de los asesinatos, la ejecución, los perfumes, los aromas, los aceites y el vino, era temido por algunos en el pueblo de Kemet, sin embargo, fue en el bajo Egipto donde fue adorado y se le rindió culto. Parte del pueblo de Kemet lo asocio con el demonio Nepai -A/p/e/p (A/p/o/f/i/s), pues era temido por algunos, también fue asociado con Heru (Horus), Djehuty (Thoth) y Nefertum (Iftimis). Es representado cómo un hombre con cabeza de león.

14) Mafdet

Netkher de la justicia, las ejecuciones, la medicina, protectora contra animales venenosos, de la sexualidad y protectora de las cámaras faraónicas. Es quien protege a Ra en la barca solar y también es protectora de Maat. Ella es quien gobernaba la sala del juicio en la Duat. Fue asociada con las netkherut Nebt-Het (Neftis) y Seshat, aunque también se decía que Seshat era su hermana gemela. Es representada cómo una mujer con cabeza de leona o de mangosta.

15) Tutu (Tithoes)

Hijo de la netkher Net, netkher de los demonios, protector contra ellos y de las pesadillas, es representado cómo una esfinge con cola de serpiente, cuerpo de león, cabeza humana y con cabezas de halcones y cocodrilos y se le ve rodeado de demonios, mensajeros de la netkher Sekhmet. Fue asociado con el netkher Heru (Horus).
