Hi! It's me again, I was wondering if I could ask a Derek hale x sister! Reader where since the hale fire the reader stop talking to anyone but only her siblings (like laura, Derek and cora) and one day the pack come in to derek's loft and saw reader whispering to Derek a d they ate shocked because even at school she never speak but as soon as she saw them she stop speaking/whispering to him. So the pack always try to make her speak by speaking to her or asking her things but reader either sigh or growl but never speak to them even though they're her pack because she's afraid that they'll die once she will start being friendly with tem, sos some people of the pack start getting frustrated and stiles or someone else make a comment about her being mut or thinking that she was mute and Derek her big brother stand up for her. Please and sorry it's so so long.
Derek defending Reader b/c of their Quietness
UGH YES LOVE THIS🦅🦅🦅 it’s not long bro, don’t even worry about it, I love writing for teen wolf teehee
Idk if I did you justice but I hope you enjoy this!!
Tumblr media
Derek is SUPER protective of you, like it’s not even funny😭
Since you’re with your older brother most of the time, the pack has gotten used to your presence and silence, yet were always so curious to know more about you!
But whenever they’ve come across you, whether it be at school, walking down a street, or even when fighting, you never say a peep to any of them
They obviously know that you somewhat care for them with all the times you’ve saved their asses from trouble, but you’re just so quiet that it’s hard to form a connection with you
I don’t think they’ve actually heard your voice besides from the occasion sigh or chuckle you would let out whenever someone said something funny
At one point they all just assumed you were mute until they one day unexpectedly dropped by Derek’s studio when they hear faint talking from outside his door
Of course they hear Derek’s deep voice, but they also hear a new voice as well
This once is much softer, yet filled with life as they heard the joyful laughing of this unknown person
Stiles being Stiles, homeboy just barges in to see who this new person only to see the surprised faces of you and your brother
“You can talk?!” Is definitely the first thing this dude would say
Your mouth is glued shut at the question and before the group can begin interrogating you, Derek steps in to separate you all
Since then, the group (mostly stiles tho) would try and make you talk
Whether it be about the most random things, they are always in some way waiting for your response
I think Allison would be the one in the pack to understand your hesitance of forming a connection with them because of your terrible pst
She understands your boundaries and only converses with you when it’s only the two of you
Allison doesn’t let her surprise how on her face you you laugh at a joke she offhandedly said to make you feel comfortable
She’s the only one you would actually talk to in private, allowing her to take a place in your heart with how many times she’s saved you, and made you laugh
Scott doesn’t want to make you uncomfortable by any means, but sometimes the silence between you both makes him feel awkward
He definitely bugs Derek about it though. Because of how much he asks about it, Derek does fold at one point and reveals why you never speak around them
Scott sees you in a different light at the knowledge of you scared of forming relationships with them, but he doesn’t treat you any differently
He’s learned to embrace the silence and calmness you bring, throwing smiles towards you every now and then when you guys make eye contact
Lydia and Stiles are more of the pushy types, always bothering you about why you don’t talk
Lydia learns to just let I go though after the first few times she tries talking to you
She doesn’t wanna waste her breath when you won’t even respond to a yes or no question😭 you usually communicate with her with your eyes or by nodding your head
Stiles on the other hand won’t let go of it
He’s always asking you questions, waiting for a response before babbling about something else
There are times that he asks sensitive questions which he knows is wrong and insensitive of him but he just wants to hear you speak again
I think we all know how stiles is, pushing someone’s else’s limits until they actually do so emerging to him to him shut up💀
I think Scott might reveal a little about you to Stiles because of how annoying he’s gotten about the subject
Stiles actually gets fed up one random day tho after the group almost gets killed because of your reluctance to communicate with them, making an off handed, and lowkey insulting, comment towards you
“What, are you finally gonna speak at our funerals when one of us dies? There won’t really be a point in doing so though.”
Might not seem like much, but for you, your heart breaks at that
He will admit it’s not his proudest moment
The second the comment leaves his mouth tho, Derek is slamming the younger boy against a way and giving him the death stare
Everyone gasps at the sound of Stiles hitting the wall
Scott tries to make Derek let go, but Stiles was talking shit to his younger sibling and he’s not gonna take that
You quickly walk over though, resting a hand on his arm
Everyone is supposed, even Derek, when you speak
“It’s ok Derek, let him go.”
After a moment of hesitation, Derek lets Stiles go, not before threatening to rip his head off if her ever speaks to you like that
Once he’s backed off, you look to Stiles, eyes filled with hurt and anger
“Are you happy now Stiles?”
And boom, you angrily walk away leaving everyone tense, Allison chasing after you
I think this’ll have a more emotional affect on you because this dude basically forced you to kinda relive a trauma you’ve grown to have
He destroyed the coping mechanism you had, which was keeping to yourself in silence
But maybe this was the push you needed. Maybe you needed someone to break you out of this shell you were in.
It was a difficult and scary process for you, but with the support of Derek and Allison, you slowly began speaking more
Starting with small comments, everyone gave you time and space to go at your own pace when talking with you
I think you would have a stutter because of your limited amount of contact you’ve had with other people throughout the years
So the pack patiently as you get out the words and sentences you stumble on occasionally
They don’t make fun of it, but instead encourage you to continue, especially if you get frustrated when you can’t get out a specific word
They are also there to remind you that they’re always going to be there for you, and that they won’t ever leave you💔
You appreciate so much because that’s been your number one fear ever since the fire that happened all those years ago
While at first things were still awkward with you and Stiles, he apologized the second you guys were alone
He’s super sincere and remorse full of the way he treated you. You accept his apology, but not without giving him the classic Hale threat if he ever does it again🤭
Derek is still super protective of you and always reminds you to not push yourself
You honestly love and appreciate him for that, and often remind him how much you appreciate him
Cora, if she’s visiting, would be surprised to hear you talking freely now. While she gives Stiles the stink eye at hearing how it all happened, she’s lowkey happy that you’ve finally broken from your chains of doubt

Teen Wolf X Reader
Summary: You’re falling really hard for Malia.
Pairings (within this chapter):
Malia X Reader
Word Count: 928
You looked down at the book open in front of you. All the words seem to blend together making it impossible for you to understand what the information being presented to you meant. You sigh and lay your cheek on your hand. “Think (Y/N).. This is a simple high school finance class.. It cannot be so hard.”
Bap!
Your thoughts get interrupted when you hear something hit your window. You turn towards it.
Bap!
There it is again. It looks like a pebble just.. hit your window?
You make your way to your window, leaving your open book behind at your desk. You open your curtains fully to be able to observe who or what is throwing the tiny pebbles at your window. When you look down, you smile. It’s just who you wanted to see tonight. The person who’s been on your mind all day. You turn your window handle, opening it. You stick your head outside, “Aren’t I lucky to be blessed by the great Malia tonight?” Malia’s concentrated expression turns into a smile, “I’m just glad I don’t have to keep using all my willpower on making sure these rocks hit your window without breaking it.” Her comment makes you laugh, “Need help coming up?” She scoffs, “Who do you think I am?” She’s climbing up the outside wall of your house before you can even process what’s happening- Before you know it her hands are gripping your windowsill. You grab onto her hands and pull her into your bedroom.
She takes a look around, taking a moment to perceive your room in its entirety. “This definitely looks cuter in person than through Skype.” She says while observing the multitude of posters you have hung up on your walls. “(Your favorite band name)? I’ve never heard of them.” Your eyes widen at this declaration. You immediately make your way towards your box of CDs and reach out for your favorite album. “Sit down, I’m about to school you.” You point your finger towards the bed and look at the brunette with an anticipative expression. Malia giggles at your earnestness, she’s never seen you so serious about something before. You put the CD in your CD player and press play. You sit down next to Malia, without thinking you’re sitting the closest you’ve ever been to her. Her body feels warm to the touch, just feeling her arm against yours is making blood rush to your cheeks. Maybe you were too bold.
Malia taps her foot to the beat of the music, she says nothing but she closes her eyes and hums along. She seems to be enjoying it. “What’s this song called? I like it.” You smile at her comment, “It’s my favorite song on the album. It’s called (Song name).” Malia nods in acknowledgement. You guys continue listening to the album until it’s over.
“I’m gonna need a copy of this CD..” Malia says once the final track of the album finishes playing. You playfully push her shoulder against hers, “I’m glad to have opened your ears to the beauty of (Your favorite band name).” Malia looks amused from your comment, “With you I’ll listen to anything.” Your heart skips a beat at her words. “You’re obsessed with me.” You try to break the tension between you with a light joke. Malia looks away from your eyes and notices the picture frame on your nightstand- She gets up from your bed to take a closer look at it. “You look cute in this, what are you like.. 6?” She picks up the picture to get a better look. It’s a picture of a tiny version of you with a cute dinosaur hat on. Kira’s also in the picture- wearing an identical hat of a different color. You both have big smile on your faces. You make your way towards her and smile at the picture she’s holding in her hands.  “I don’t know. Must’ve been a long time ago though.” You gently reach for the picture frame, wanting to put it back where it’s meant to be. Malia takes the hint and puts it back on your nightstand.
The fact that Malia can understand your wants or needs without you having to say anything out loud always makes your stomach feel funny. She makes you feel heard without even having to speak, she feels like the personification of safety to you. “So… why are you really here?” The look in Malia’s eyes is indecipherable. “I don’t know.. I guess I just wanted to see you.” She reaches out to hold your hand, “I just missed you.” She lets out a sigh of relief after saying those words, as if the information she just shared with you was weighing on her. “Hey,” You reach out to tuck her loose strands of hair behind her ear, “I missed you too.” The contact of your hand against her skin made your heart beat a little faster. Her skin was warm, very warm. Malia grabs your hand and pulls your entire body closer into a hug. Your arms are awkwardly tucked to your sides, “What are we doing?” You ask her, nervous that her intentions are different from your own. “I’m holding you. Do you want to hold me?”
You do. Really badly, actually. You push your insecurities to the back of your mind and wrap your arms around her. Right now, it doesn’t matter to you what any of this means. As long as you can be in her arms like this for just a little longer.
A/N: Hi everyone.. it’s been a while. I think malia and the reader need 2 learn to say more but i have this thing in my head that i belive that malia does more than she says... she isnt the type to ask the reader hey u wanna b my gf <3 its more of a... one day she wasnt kissing you and one day she was.. and then she just kept kissing u everyday and now ur not allowed 2 kiss other ppl... does that make any sense? anyways theyre gay and theyre gonna kiss. eventually...

My Future
Derek Hale x OC
Samantha, Stiles and Scott are always joking about the impossible. Who wouldn't when your best friend's dad is the sheriff of Beacon Hills? All jokes stop when they realize the impossible is indeed possible.

Chapter 36: Poison
Later that night, the game had begun, and Sam was just as nervous as Liam. She walked out of the dark hallways to the front of the school to see Derek and Chris.
"What are you two doing here?", she asked, walking up to them. They looked shocked to see her as they had opened a door that seemed like a vault. He and Argent shared a look before they walked down with her behind them.
Sam looked around in wonder. How was something like this not found??
Derek headed towards the shelves up ahead and opened up a box. Sam walked over to Derek as he turned around with something in his hands and showed them.
"She was here for this.", Derek said as he handed Chris some sort of token with the triskelion carved into each side. "We use it to teach young Betas how to control the shifts on the full moon."
"Control was never one of Kate's strengths.", Argent replied handing Derek a talisman.
"You knew she was alive, didn't you?", Derek asked the older man.
"Not for certain.", he replied. "But I'd been searching ever since you handed me the shotgun shell."
"What shotgun shell?", Sam asked them.
"She shot me with a shotgun that day I went missing.", Derek replied as Argent showed them the shell and Sam saw it had an engraving of the Argent seal.
"What are you gonna do when you find her?", she asked Argent.
"There's a place I can take her.", Argent said, walking into the middle of the vault.
"You saying you have some kind of werewolf jail?", Derek asked him.
"Something like that.", Argent nodded.
"She won't go quietly.", Derek reminded him.
"I don't expect her to, and I'll do what's necessary.", Argent sighed.
"What if I asked you not to?", Derek said. Sam looked at him like he had grown another head. Is he serious…?
"Please tell me you're joking?", she asked, raising an eyebrow.
"She took something from me.", Derek said and showed Argent his gold yellow eyes.
Knowing that he now has yellow eyes bothered her. If him having yellow eyes meant he was gradually becoming more human, this was gonna be a problem.
Argent frowned shamefully. "At first, I just thought it was a part of my past, I started to lose something else.", Derek said, making Sam snap her head towards him.
"What else are you losing?", she asked. Derek looked down as his eyes flickered back to their green color. "My sense of smell, I'm losing my power."
Sam's jaw clenched. She was frustrated now. More so because Kate was tormenting him once again. More because he wasn't telling anyone anything.
She sighed out of her nose in frustration as Argent left. "Why didn't you say anything?", she asked Derek.
He looked at her with sad eyes. "Sam—", he turned to her, but Sam stood my ground, taking a small step back. "No, Derek. Why didn't you tell anyone anything? If something had happened to you and you weren't gonna make it — how the hell do you think we'd feel?", she croaked, feeling a lump in her throat at the thought of him dying.
"I wasn't sure. With everything that happened recently, I—", he sighed. "I didn't want you to worry." He took a step towards her. "Sam, you have school to focus on and more so your new powers. You shouldn't have to worry about what's wrong with me."
"I'm always worried! I can't help that! I care about you guys so much. I care about you." She let out a sigh, rubbing her temples.
"When I found out you were taken and we ended up going to Mexico because I thought the Calaveras had taken you again, I–I panicked. I didn't know what the Calaveras wanted with you again. I was trying to stay strong, and I panicked because I wasn't sure what happened to you.", she says, furiously.
He looked like a scolded child. "I didn't wanna hurt you. I wanted to protect you. I don't know what Kate's planning and I don't want you to get caught up with that again.", he said.
She frowned, sighing softly. It isn't even his fault and here she was, fussing.
"I know I said you don't have to tell me everything, but this is important, and it only hurts when you keep shit like this from me, Derek. If she had done anything worse to you, I don't know what I would've done. I'm already a part of this, whether or not you like it. I just wished you trusted me with these types of things.", she whispered, and rubbed her face.
She knows it's frustrating for him to lose his powers, hell, whatever heightened sense he has left. It's gotta be annoying to deal with living in a new lifestyle you weren't born into.
"Sam. I do trust you. I trust you with my life. I just…", he sighed harshly and shook his head. "I don't know what to do. I don't think I've ever known what to do. I was just doing whatever I was told and now things are different."
Derek frowned sadly as she wouldn't look him in his eyes. He lifted a hand to tilt her face up to look at him properly. His eyebrows furrowed as he looked at her. "I'm sorry. I really am. I don't mean to keep things from you."
"You're… independent. I get it. You have been for a while. I know. But we're a team now. I told you this already. If something happened to you… worse than what already has happened… I don't know what I'd do.", she says, shrugging.
"I already thought you died before and I couldn't handle it then. You keeping this from me — if you died for real, I don't think I could handle it now. Especially now that you're losing your powers. This isn't the time to take on the world by yourself.", she said softly.
He sighed softly and brought her into a hug. "I'm sorry…", he whispered, holding her as tight as he could.
"Me too.", she mumbled in his shoulder. They quickly pulled away as police sirens blared outside. They left the vault, hiding it before they ran inside the school.
Derek and Sam walked in the boy's locker room and found a sweaty Stiles and Scott, an unconscious girl and Brett, who both were barely breathing.
"What happened?", Sam asked, running over to Brett who was still conscious. Conscious, but barely.
"He was cut by Garret's blade." She looked at Derek before looking at Brett. Brett's a werewolf…
Was that why he was messing with Liam? He knew about Liam?
"What was on the blade?", Derek asked him.
"Wolfsbane, we think.", Brett replied then suddenly started twitching and spitting up a yellow liquid.
"We have to get him Deaton now!", Derek alerted, picking Brett up.
"Stiles, go with him.", Sam said, looking at Derek. Scott started sniffing and his eyes widened. "My dad's here.", Scott sighed. Sam frowned and he gave her a reassuring smile. "Go. I'll deal with him.", he told her.
Sam nodded and left the locker room, heading straight to the Animal Clinic.
"…as still as possible", she heard Deaton say as she walked in the back room. She paused as she saw Deaton was going to cut Brett open with a scalpel, but the boys were struggling to keep him down as Brett thrashed.
"Hey Derek, how about a little werewolf strength?", Stiles grumbled, struggling. "Yeah, I'm not the only one here with werewolf strength.", Derek sneered.
"If you can't hold him still, the incision might kill him.", Deaton warned. Sam rushed over and used her own shadow to make restraints to hold Brett down, giving the boys a chance to back away as they looked at her.
Brett still thrashed, now wolfing out and trying to break out of his restraints.
Sam's peripherals caught Peter, who had rushed over and punched the boy, knocking him out. She frowned and released Brett. It wasn't the smartest form of anesthesia, but it'll do.
"I guess I still have a little werewolf strength myself.", Peter smirked, and Sam glared at him.
"We get it.", she growled, walking over to stand aside Brett. She glanced over at Derek and saw three long scratches trailed down his arm. "Derek?", she called, catching his attention as he looked at his own arm.
She moved over and grabbed his arm. "I'm fine.", he says, and Sam frown at him before getting supplies to clean and dress it up.
"Hey Doc, I don't think he's breathing.", Stiles warned Deaton. The man quickly made an incision on Brett's body and yellow smoke came out of it. Brett let out a gasp of air, catching his breath.
"Is he okay?", Stiles asked. They all looked at Brett as he was mumbling.
"The sun, the moon, the truth…", Brett whispered as Deaton leaned in to hear him. "The sun, the moon, the truth.", Deaton said.
"The things cannot long be hidden, the sun, the moon and the truth.", Deaton looked at them. "It's Buddhist." Derek looked over at Peter as they shared a look. "Satomi.", Peter said.
The next day, Sam noticed some of her favorite people weren't in class. She perked up to see Malia had walked into the classroom all by herself and gave her a proud smile in which she returned before sitting down behind Sam.
"Has anyone seen Stiles, Lydia, or Kira today?", Ms. Fleming asked. "Malia, Sam? Any idea where your friends are?"
Sam shook her head. Malia looked up. "I could try catching their scent.", she shrugged, making Sam look at her with wide eyes.
Ms. Fleming awkwardly nodded. "Right. How about I just mark them down as absent?"
Sam sighed and facepalmed. Why are all three of them out today? She pulled out her phone to text Lydia, but heard Malia shuffling behind her. She turned around to see Malia getting up with her backpack.
"Malia," Ms. Fleming said as Malia reached the front of the classroom. "Do you need to be excused from class?"
"Yeah.", Malia replied, grabbing at Sam. Ms. Fleming raised an eyebrow at sam. "I forgot we had a thing we were supposed to do for Coach Finstock and just came straight here for attendance. My bad, teach.", Sam weakly apologized before being pulled out of class by Malia.
Sam frowned at her. "Next time you wanna leave class, let me know beforehand so I could come up with a better lie. We do have the PSATs coming up, y'know.", she scolded.
"Forget that, just come on.", Malia said, leading her down the halls.
As they rounded a corner, they stopped as they spotted Derek standing alone in the stairwell. He was holding Brett's green lacrosse jersey in his hand.
"What are you doing here?", Malia asked her cousin.
"Brett's still out of it. I need to find his pack and warn them about the Deadpool.", Derek told the girls.
"So, what do you need me for?", she asked.
"I know a little something about this pack," he started. "They have a kind-of secret meeting place in the woods. No one's spent more time in the woods of Beacon Hills than you. This is Brett's." He held out the jersey to her. "Breathe it in."
Malia shook her head. "I'm not good at that yet.", she said, unsure.
"Try it," he said, tossing the jersey to her. "I'll teach you. Focus on the different scents. Some are tied to identity; others give off an emotion."
Malia closed her eyes and brought the jersey to her nose. Once she opened her eyes, she nodded at him.
Sam frowned. If he had her smelling someone else's scent instead of him doing it himself… his sense of smell was out the window.
Shit.
Instead of staying behind, Sam went with them. As much as she had faith in Malia to defend herself, she wasn't so sure about her defending both herself and Derek. She's always been on her own. That's how she learned to survive.
"Their alpha is a woman called Satomi.", Derek explained as they left his car at the entrance to the preserve. "She's one of the oldest werewolves alive, and she's learned a lot."
"What does that mean?", Malia asked.
"She's a bitten werewolf.", he said. "Learning control wasn't easy for her. She did something a long time ago that changed her."
They took a few steps into the trees before Malia stopped the older two, her nose wrinkling as she sniffed.
"What is it?", Derek asked her.
"Gunpowder."
Derek looked around before spotting something metallic in the grass. He knelt down and picked up a shotgun shell.
"If Brett's pack is out here, I don't think they're meeting," Derek said. "They're hiding."
They spent hours in the woods, all the way until sunset. Sam could tell Malia was gradually getting irritable, frustrated that her abilities were almost at their limit. She sighed and frowns as they got into Derek's car, unable to find Brett's scent.
"I'm sorry.", Malia said. "There's nothing to be sorry about.", Derek assured her. "If they don't want to be found, then we're not going to find them. Some werewolves have an ability. A kind of mastery over their bodies, where they can actually inhibit their scent."
"They can hide from other werewolves?", Malia asked, surprised.
"From anyone who's trying to find them."
"Well, it's why no one knew about Brett.", Sam says, leaning on the dashboard. "Scott couldn't even smell him."
"And it was the same with Demarco.", Derek said.
"Maybe we need to try something different. Maybe we need to think like Stiles," Malia said.
"Like a… hyperactive spaz?", Derek asked, raising an eyebrow. Sam tilted her head at him in disappointment while he only smiled.
"Like a detective," Malia corrected. "If they're really Buddhists, then maybe, instead of asking where werewolves hide, we should be asking—"
"Where would Buddhists hide.", Derek said in realization.
"Way to go, junior detective.", Sam grinned at Malia. She looked proud of herself.
"When Buddha sat under the Bodhi tree, he looked to the east for enlightenment.", Derek said, staring at the compass on his car's dashboard.
"Is there some kind of eastern point in Beacon Hills?", Malia asked.
"Yeah. At Lookout Point."
With that, they headed to Lookout Point.
The moment they got out of the car, Sam stopped. Both cousins paused as they looked at her. "What's wrong?", Derek whispered.
The atmosphere of this place felt heavy with dread and death. Sam knelt down and placed her hand on the dark ground. "Bodies. Dead bodies.", she says and looked up. They looked at her in shock. "They're near.", she says, before getting up and leading them to where she sensed the death trail.
As they walked on the edge of the cliff at Lookout Point, Malia's face scrunched up. "That's definitely blood.", she muttered as they walked further in the woods.
They finally came across a clearing where several bodies were laid down. The bodies of the pack members had dried, black blood around their eyes and mouths.
Sam frowned and walked over to the bodies.
"What happened?", Malia asked as she looked around.
"They were poisoned," Derek said.
"Great.", she muttered, sarcastically. "If assassins with guns don't get you, then the ones with wolfsbane poison will. Or maybe one with no mouth. Maybe we should all be running from Beacon Hills. Running for our lives, as fast as we can."
"We can't just run, Malia.", Sam said and waved her illuminating hands over the bodies as she walked around.
Derek and Malia watched as the bodies brightened in the same light before concentrating on their paths to the afterlife. With this many bodies…it was a little harder to handle, but as soon as Sam got it done, she felt dizzy and nearly tumbled back on her feet.
Derek caught her and held her up, frowning. "You didn't have to do that.", he said. She knew that. "What's the point of having these powers if I can't do good with them?", she asked, looking up at him.
His shoulders dropped as he let out a soft sigh through his nose. He didn't say anything, but understood and led the girls back to the car. Before they got in, Malia paused.
"What's wrong?", Sam asked. Malia looked around. "Someone's alive!", she exclaimed.
She led the to where she heard a conscious person and Derek ran up ahead as he saw something. "It's Braeden!"
He knelt beside her, "She's been shot,"
"We gotta get her to the hospital while she's stable.", Sam says.
Derek quickly picked Braeden up and we ran back to the car. Before Sam could get in, Malia put a hand on her shoulder, stopping her.
"I'm gonna warn Stiles and Scott about this poison.", Malia told her. "I'll come with you, then.", Sam nodded.
Derek looked at them with a nod before dropping them off and speeding off to the ER.
The next day, according to Derek, Braeden was fine, but still unconscious.
Sam sent her get well and headed to class to start on her PSAT.
Sam groaned dramatically, leaning her forehead against Stiles' back as they waited outside, ready to take the tests.
"Where's Lydia?", Kira asked, looking around.
"She took it her freshman year.", Stiles sighed. "Lucky her.", Sam grumbled.
"Does that mean I could have taken it some other time?", Malia asked, frowning at Stiles.
"You've been studying harder than all of us. I think you'll do fine, Malia.", Sam reassured, looking up at her.
"Doesn't mean I'm gonna do good.", she grumbled, pouting.
"Well.", Stiles said, making them look at him in confusion.
"Well, what?", Malia asked.
"It's 'do well,' not 'do good,'", he corrects her grammar. Sam frowned at him. "You're making her sweat the smallest things.", she scolded. “She’ll need it, though.”, Stiles countered, much to Malia’s distaste.
"Oh, God!", Malia groaned, slamming her head back against the lockers.
"Okay, okay! We're doing this because while we're trying not to die, we still need to live." Scott said, tiredly. "If I survive high school, I'd like to go to college. A good college."
"It's only three hours.", Kira assured. "We can survive three hours."
They all looked at her with a shake of their heads, as they had eventually entered the room. They had to hand over their phones to Natalie, Lydia's mom, who ended up being their Procter and used an ink pad and to leave their thumbprint as proof of test taking.
Sam frowned at the messy ink on her thumb and wiped it on her dark jeans before sitting down behind Malia. The supervisor explained to them how the test was going to go, and Sam let out a sigh once an essay was mentioned.
Coach was supposed to be here, now that she thought about it as they started, but according to Natalie, she couldn't find him which Sam found weird and called bullshit.
That man was everywhere even when you weren't expecting him.
The reading and language part came easy, as she never really had a problem with this sort of thing. It was just the essays she had a problem with.
Sam glanced up to see Malia's frustrated form leaning on her desk as she scratched her head. She was panicking. She would’ve reassured her to relax, but there was a test.
She turned back to her book before hearing someone fall to the floor. Everyone turned to look at a girl named Sydney with wide, confused eyes. She had passed out.
"Sydney! Are you all right?", Natalie asked, rushing to help the girl sit up.
Sydney opened her eyes owlishly and groaned softly as Natalie helped her stand. "I'm okay… I just got kind of dizzy."
Natalie looked at a red rash that was on the inside of Sydney's wrist. "Sydney, how long have you had this?"
"I don't know.", she mumbled.
Natalie walked back to the front of the classroom and grabbed her phone. The supervisor looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "Ms. Martin, do I need to stop the test?"
"No. Um, it's fine," she replied, shaking her head with a nervous smile. "Everybody stay in your seats. I'll, um, be back in a minute. Nobody leaves the room.", she says before leaving the room.
Scott and Sam looked at each other as they shared a knowing look.
Something's off.
Only two minutes later, they heard Natalie shouting in the hallway.
"Get back! No! Do not come in here! Get back outside!" Each student got out of their seats and rushed into the hallway to see why she was yelling.
Natalie forced a group of boys out of the school doors before locking the entrance to keep anyone else from coming in. She turned to see her students watching her panicked state.
"Back to your seats! Now, please.", she instructed.
Scott pushed Sam, Malia and Stiles back into the room before pausing as he listened with furrowed eyebrows and wide eyes.
"What's wrong?", Sam asked.
The PSATs were long stopped as the CDC stormed the school, flashing their yellow hazmat suits.
They sealed all the doors and windows and set up individual quarantine units in empty classrooms. Sydney and any other student that were showing symptoms were taken to quarantine to stay away from others.
The supernatural teens all looked at each other in shock. They had to get out of here.
"Bet they're thinking smallpox.", Stiles scoffed, nudging Sam with his elbow. Scott was off trying to get information from Natalie.
"Not likely.", the test supervisor shut him down. "Smallpox was eradicated worldwide in 1979. We've only managed to completely eradicate two viruses in history. The other was rinderpest. It killed cows."
"So, we should be comforted by that, right?", Stiles asked him.
"Unless it's something worse.", the man replied.
"Whatever it is, they're taking it pretty seriously. There are a lot of cars and trucks out there.", Malia said. She tilted her head as she listened in on whatever conversation she could find and looked at Stiles. "Your dad's with them."
Stiles sighed and walked over to the box with all their phones kept inside. "I should probably call him."
"I'll call my mom and let her know what's up.", Sam sighed.
"Don't bother.", the administrator said before they could get their phones out. "They would have shut off any access to all outside communication by now. No cell service, no WiFi, no one starting a panic. Looks like we're all just going to have to wait here and see what happens."
"Well shit," Sam muttered. This was gonna be a long day.
Back at the hospital, Derek sat in a chair in Braeden's hospital room, waiting for Braeden to wake up so he could figure out what happened.
He sighed but looked up as Melissa rushed into the room. She injected something into Braeden's IV, making Derek look at her in confusion.
"What's that?", Derek asked, standing up.
"Naloxone. We need to wake her up.", she said, making him look at her in worry. Was something happening?
"I thought you said she needed to rest?", he asked, his eyebrows furrowed.
"That was before I found out the CDC just put the high school under quarantine with Scott, Stiles, and Sam still in there.", Melissa informed. His eyes widened. "What–"
His attention snapped over at Braeden, who sat up in bed suddenly with a gasp. She looked around the room, unsure of her surroundings. Melissa placed a hand on her shoulder to try and calm her.
"Braeden, look at me. You were shot, but you're in the hospital, and you're fine. Do you understand?", Melissa asked. Braeden looked at Melissa and Derek before nodding. "Good. Okay, last night, you were in the woods, and you came across another pack? Do you know what happened to them?", the older woman asked.
"I already told you." Derek said. "They were poisoned—"
"No," Braeden cut him off, weakly. "No, they were infected. It was a virus… designed to kill werewolves. It did. It killed them all."
"Just werewolves?", Derek asked.
"Because there's also a coyote, a Kitsune, and a hybrid werewolf in the school too.", Melissa told her. "Is that gonna happen to all of them?"
"I-I don't know.", Braden said, shutting her eyes. "I don't know."
That didn't settle Derek at all.
Back at the school, the next step was for the CDC employees to get blood samples from everyone, showing symptoms or not. Stiles had wandered off to try and find Scott after he gave his sample, leaving Sam, Kira, and Malia in the line.
"Kira? Sam?", Malia suddenly called. Sam frowned as she looked at the young Hale, noticing Malia's fidgeting. "What's up?", Sam asked. "Do you ever get the feeling that Scott and Stiles aren't telling you everything?", Malia asked.
That… was an unexpected question. Sam knows sometimes the boys don't tell her everything, but…
Was this about Malia being Peter's daughter? Did she know something…? After Scott and Stiles found out about her, they made Sam promise not to say anything. Even though Sam had felt bad… It was weird to know that someone like Peter was a dad.
Kira, on the other hand, seemed as nervous as ever. "What do you mean?"
"Like they hide stuff.", Malia said.
"I think if they did, they'd probably have a pretty good reason?", Kira replied anxiously.
Malia sighed. "Do you know what they're hiding in the bag under Scott's bed?"
"What? No! I've never been under Scott's bed. Or in it. Just on it… wearing clothes.", Kira jumbled. The girls looked at her in confusion before Sam turned to Malia. "I've been in Scott's room, but never bothered to look under his bed. Why do you ask?"
"There's this red duffle bag. They hid it as soon as I came in the room.", she explained, crossing her arms. "Stiles has never hid anything from me."
"Well, I don't know so much about this bag. Maybe it's just personal stuff of Scott's. Y'know, just some things only guys want to see.", Sam says, shrugging. Although, it did spike her interest. Scott having a duffel bag and hasn't said anything…? Was he planning on going somewhere…
What did he hide in there?
Before either of the girls could say anything, they turned their attention to a crackling sound of electricity catching their ears. They saw the CDC employee drop the needle that was supposed to take Kira's blood. Kira somehow shocked the employee, burning a part of the hazmat suit.
Shit.
"Kira," Malia whispered, pulling her out of the line. "Kira, come on."
Sam took both girls away before anyone could even ask any questions. Her grip faltered on them as she felt a pang of pain from her head and watched her nails blacken and stretch out.
"You're shitting….", she muttered, stopping and looking at her hands.
Malia's claws also started to appear, and the girls all shared a look. Where's Scott?
He still couldn't control himself as Alpha, so once they found him, they rushed inside the locker room with Mr. Yukimura. "It's still happening," he said, watching as Scott's eyes flickered from brown to red.
"I can't make them go back." Malia said, showing her claws.
Sam's mouth began to hurt as she leaned on the lockers behind her. She could taste the familiar taste of blood on her tongue and frowned at the thought of biting on her own muscle.
"Obviously, the virus is affecting the three of you in a way it won't hit any human being.", Mr. Yukimura told them.
"You guys have to stay out of sight. We have to quarantine you from the quarantine.", Stiles said.
"Yeah, but where?" Kira asked. "I mean, what if they get violent, like on a full moon?"
"We shouldn't stay here. Not in the locker room.", Scott said, shaking his head.
"Another classroom?", Stiles suggested.
"A classroom's not going to hold us," Scott told him.
"What about the basement?" Kira asked.
"Too many ways out.", he shot down, shaking his head. "We need something secure — somewhere nobody can find us."
"The vault.", Stiles muttered, making Sam and Scott look at him.
"The Hale vault. The Hales always have an escape route, like their house. There has to be another way in.", Scott said.
Mr. Yukimura rushed out to find blueprints of the school. When he came back and spread them out on Coach's desk, Stiles scanned the floor plan.
"This is where the high school sign is, so the vault's got to be right about here." he pointed out.
"I suppose, if there's a second entrance, it would probably be accessible from the basement.", Mr. Yukimura said.
"It's probably somewhere in this hallway…west corridor…" Stiles grabbed the side of Coach's desk, looking dizzy. "Whoa."
"It's happening to you, too.", Mr. Yukimura told him, worriedly. "You're getting sick. You all are."
"I don't feel sick.", Kira told her dad.
"I think it's affecting you differently. Neurologically.", he told his daughter. "I found your test answers here in a pile with the others."
They all looked at Kira's test booklet and saw that none of her marks were inside the bubbles. She must've thought she was marking the answers in the correct places.
"Well, that's something…", Sam says, stumbling back against the wall, feeling dizzy. "Yeah… we need to go."
They quickly left to find the vault. "Hey, guys? Over here," Stiles called. Scott and Stiles hurriedly moved a shelf to the side. There were lines carved in the wall that matched the triskelion tattoo on Derek's back.
"Look at the cracks in the wall. It's like the entrance outside. It only opens with claws — anyone's claws, right?", Stiles asked, looking at Scott.
Scott looked unsure. His claws weren't even out. He turned to Malia instead. "Um, Malia, can you try?", Scott asked her. "Why me?", she asked.
Scott lifted his fingers. "I don't have control…"
"Okay. I'll do it.", Malia said and she crossed her arms. "But, first, tell me what you've been hiding from me. I know you think you're trying to protect me, but I can handle it."
Scott and Stiles shared a nervous look. Sam glanced at them then back at Malia.
She figured it out…she wanted to hear it from them. Worse timing. Awkward timing.
"I know I'm on the list!", Malia exclaimed, making them jump.
Sam squeezed her eyes shut, as she fought the urge to shake her head. Maybe she didn't know. If Malia was one thing, oblivious wasn't even the word to call her.
"Yes.", Stiles said hesitantly. "So, how much?", she asked.
"How much what?"
"How much am I worth?"
"Four million," Scott immediately said.
Stiles frowned as she pouted. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah," Malia said, shrugging. "Scott and Sam are both worth twenty something, Kira's six. They'll take you guys out way before me."
Sam looked at her in disbelief.
"That's progress.", Stiles defended, and Sam sighed. She still had a long way to go. They all watched as Malia used her claws to open the door and it worked.
She really was a Hale. The stone wall slid open, revealing the vault in front of them. They could see the stairs that led up to the school sign which was blocked by the CDC so the plan to escape was already a bust.
As the group of students sat in the vault for what felt like hours, Sam sat on the ground, away from her friends, gradually feeling tired and dizzy. It felt hot and almost suffocating in here…
'Was I the only one who felt like that?', she thought.
Scott and Kira stayed near the door while Stiles held Malia in his arms. She was the only one who was getting the sickest real fast.
Sam, on the other hand, felt like the room was trying to melt her. She heard her friends talking, but it wasn't as important as trying to cool down at the moment. The floor felt cold enough, but she felt hotter and hotter.
The more she felt hot, the more it angered her. The more she felt angry, the more she blocked out everything.
"You know, this is where it all started. That's where the money was." Stiles said, his eyes on the safe in the corner of the vault. "One hundred and seventeen million in bearer bonds."
"How do you even change bearer bonds into cash?", Kira asked him.
"Bank, I guess." he said, shrugging. "They just let it sit here the whole time, collecting dust. You know bearer bonds are basically extinct?"
"Why does it matter?", she asked.
"You know how many problems that money could solve?"
"For you?"
"Me, my dad. The Eichen House and MRI bills are killing him.", Stiles said with a sad frown.
"My mom does this thing. She writes down all the items in our budget, and how much they cost, and then she adds them all up and figures out how long we have until… we lose the house," Scott confessed.
"Then you have people like Peter," Stiles muttered bitterly. "He's just sitting on that money — could buy your house a million times over."
They stopped talking as they heard a scratching noise against the floor and glanced at Sam. Her head laid on her knees that were brought to her chest as her nails scratched the floor. Their eyebrows furrowed in worry as they watched their friend's arms darkened with black veins, almost as if she were taking someone's pain away.
"Sam?", Scott spoke up. He got up and walked over to her, stopping once he heard a low warning growl coming from Sam.
"Hey.", Scott whispered and knelt in front of her. She lifted her face and to Scott's shock, her own eyes were flickering yellow. Her eyes dripped with blackened tears as she stared back at him.
Her forehead was dripping with sweat, and she looked completely out of it.
"We're gonna figure this out, okay?", he reassured. She didn't say anything as he stood up and went to the door, listening in on whatever conversation he could hear. Stiles left Malia and discussed with Scott before walking back to her to reassure Malia that he was coming back.
He glanced at Sam worriedly before taking cautious steps to get her attention. She looked up at him and he placed a hand on her knee. "I'm coming back.", he reassured, giving her a smile.
She let out a rumbled answer, making him pat her knee. He walked back to the door, giving his sick friends a firm nod before the door closed behind him. Sam's vision blotted in and out, which made her both panic and become more tired.
She just thought that blackening vision meant she was passing out again. Sleep didn't sound too bad…
She could hear Stiles' muffled screams outside the door moments later, but her body felt weaker. She couldn't move.
The only thing she could think about was how she'd never fulfill her promises. And it sucked.
Her senses were disappearing one by one, and it made her nervous. Tired, but nervous. It felt like forever until her eyes popped open as a jar crashed to the ground, breaking into hundreds of pieces and releasing the cure Stiles was screaming about.
Once the spores of the mushrooms emptied the jar and spread throughout the room, all of the affected supernatural students gasped for air as their senses came back. She immediately sat up, clutching her head from the sudden dizziness. Each sense she had came back as she watched her claws disappear.
Sam stumbled to her feet and stopped once she saw Malia's betrayed look as she held a paper.
"Did you know about this?", Malia asked her. 'That's the list…', Sam thought. She saw her name. Her actual name.
Malia knows she's a Hale now. Sam didn't say anything, and Malia didn't either. They didn't have to.
Stiles rushed over to Malia, wanting to check on her when he saw the hurt expression on her face. Malia had her answer. An answer she's been looking for.
"Hey, Malia?"
Stiles placed his hand on her shoulder in a comforting manner, Malia shoved it away, standing up and moved past him, walking out of the vault alone.
Stiles looked at Sam in confusion and she glanced at the abandoned paper on the floor. Stiles also looked at the paper and let out a sigh as he figured out what happened.
"Sam.", Scott called, weakly leaning against a shelf. "Your mom's here. So is Derek. They're looking for you."
Her eyes widened as she shakily took off, running out of the entrance to the school. Her eyes adjusted to the bright light as she looked around. They were in there for what only felt like 5 hours…
It was already morning…?
Students were being released to families who waited practically all night outside. Sam looked around the hallways of the school, having no luck finding Derek outside, but found him and her mom talking to Lydia and Natalie.
"Derek! Mom!", Sam called, moving in between a few CDC employees to get to them.
Derek's head quickly snapped in her direction, and he ran to her. They met halfway and he held her tight, not caring for her imbalance. "You're okay…", he mumbled in relief.
She nodded. "We're okay.", she said, and they pulled away. Her mom quickly came up, pulled her daughter into her arms, and swayed her. "I thought you got sick too… I wasn't sure what was going on.", she said.
Sam pulled away from her mother and smiled. "We're all okay." Well… all but Malia.
Derek frowned as he saw spots of black blood that dripped from her eyes and wiped it away with his jacket sleeve. "When Scott's mom told me what happened… I wasn't sure what the hell was going on. No one was answering their phone and I couldn't find you."
She smiled with glassy eyes. "Stiles was once again the hero.", she said, giving him a hug again. She frowned as she felt something sticky brush against her knuckles and glanced at his abdomen.
She pulled away his jacket and her eyes widened as she saw his shirt spotting with blood. "The hell happened?"
"I'm fine. Deaton took the bullet out.", Derek said, making her eyes widen. He got shot?? When? He was so nonchalant about his injury, and it bothered her. She shook her head. "How's Braeden?"
"Doing better. Actually, she's the one that mentioned poisoning here. That's why you were affected.", he informed. She sighed. "Does that mean I owe her for kinda saving my life?"
He chuckled. "I don't know about that."

I love you -Stiles Stilinski
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Words count: idk                       reader! x stiles (ft. Malia & Void)
Warning: none
summary: finding your way back to your sister was hard; watching her fall in love with your best friend was worse.
English is not my first language, forgive me for any eventual mistakes and enjoy loves-
Tumblr media
"I don't really get it Malia"
the older girl looked you dead in the eyes: "you never do".
it was not the first argument you both shared; growing up with an older sister was probably not easy, even though you wouldn't know, you had her back (and found out she was not dead) almost 2 years ago.
But it hadn't been easy in the slightest either.
you remembered your sister, her light hair, her full smile and the way she used to pet you in the head every time you said a right word, but it had been years ago and the girl you remembered so desperately was in fact dead in that car accident, just like you.
you were both some grown up girls who shared the same blood but nothing more, and fighting the tremendous flow of years that tore you apart was extremely difficult.
you were trying though, because you loved her... you loved her.
you took a deep breath, your heart slowing to his normal peace.
you were not going to fight.
"I don't really wanna talk about this" you breathed.
Malia knew you, better than you imagined, but when your shoulders relaxed that way and your face lost that frown that she so hated, she felt helpless; you looked older sometimes, even more than her.
"you should have told me" Malia barked.
she was meaning to be thoughtful, sorry, but it came out more like pitiful.
you still tried to keep your cool.
"Was it that relevant who I fancied?" you spoke softly, a hint of sarcasm making its way out.
"there's no time Malia" Scott spoke, he was urgently pushing the two to walk away.
he was right, it was time to move, to leave.
this conversation could have waited a couple hours, or a couple years if possible.
Malia didn't move, nor an inch; so it was you who took the first step.
everyone was painfully silent, as your eyes locked with Stiles'.
the boy was laying on his back against his car, the dark night making him nothing more than a silhouette.
his hands in his pockets as he softly smiled.
you had known the guy since forever, yet it seemed impossible to you to identify the moment you knew you were in love.
maybe it was the first time you saw him, maybe when he held your hair up as you were throwing up, maybe it was the night you laughed on his rooftop talking about love or maybe it was the day Malia told you she liked him.
No, you didn't know, either way, you fell.
but it wasn't a big deal, you were trying to keep it cool and hidden.
it was not a problem she liked him, it was not big deal they kissed at that party and it sure as hell was not a reason to die that night.
Malia held your wrist, way too strongly for you to bear but you didn't wince, not in the slightest.
her eyes glowing blue in the night as she looked into yours.
everybody reacted quickly, shifting positions; suddenly the parking lot looked more like a cemetery.
Stiles quickly sensing danger as he stood on his toes, his lips parting.
"it's not a problem" you breathed, your eyes sharp, as you yanked your arm away, "let's leave" you stated, eyes following Scott's steps.
but there was no time: a harrow flying your way as you were thrown onto the ground.
"y/n!" you heard Stiles yell.
"are you okay?" Scott asked as you nodded frenetically, "we gotta go" you breathed.
But Malia was already on her way, her claws attempting to tear apart whoever tried to hurt her sister.
"it's funny" you heard someone spoke, his voice so clear it made you shiver, you were on your knees again, holding your head.
"hey" he was holding you "hey" Stiles breathed, his effort of waking you up vain.
"it's so funny" you heard again.
"What is funny" you cried, the pain in your head unbearable.
you heard someone scream, it was Lydia.
an army of men falling to the ground, swords making contacts with the concrete, but you were not there, you were not there.
"y/n, we gotta go" Stiles whispered, his eyes soft as he stroke your arms in a protective way.
"go" you breathed, "go" you said again.
"what is going on?!" you heard Malia scream, but everything felt so far, so feeble.
"it's funny because he loves you" that voice spoke again, but you no longer felt pain.
"he loves you" he mumbled.
your head rose from between your hands as you made eye contact with Stiles.
his eyes scanning frenetically your face seeking an injury, in search of pain.
you both rose from the ground with shaking hands.
"and so do I" you heard.
you had the time to turn around, Void's cold gaze upon you as he stood there, his shirt tore apart, his lips deep purple, his skin pale.
it took you a second to realize, but as you've heard the undeniable sound of a knife hurting flesh, you turned to your left.
there it was, on her knees, a sword in her stomach, Malia.
it felt surreal, it felt like a nightmare; you jumping towards her, her eyes never leaving your face as she smiled softly.
"oh my god" you breathed "oh my god", you eyes watering as your hands were shaky, unsure of what to do; take the sword out? held the wound? call for help?
void's eyes following the scene with a smile: she hurt you, she hurt you... she deserved it.
"call Deaton!" you screamed, tears finally leaving your eyes.
"it's okay" Malia breathed, her hand taking strands of hair behind your ear.
"I'm sorry" she spoke softly, her head hinting towards Stiles as she smiled at you "I didn't know" she confessed.
"how could you" you cried, "I didn't either" your hands holding hers as you let pain wash over you.
you took a deep breath, there were no longer shouting nor fighting sounds in your ears as you regained yourself back; it was time to show up as the woman you learned to be.
it was time to call for your strong self back.
"let's go" you mumbled, drying your tears with your sweater.
Malia's arm on your shoulder as you helped her up.
"it's fine" she winched in pain.
"I lost you once" your eyes hardened "not gonna make it twice".
Stiles came on the other side, helping keeping her up "not gonna make it twice" he repeated, eyes lovingly supporting you.

My Future
Derek Hale x OC
Samantha, Stiles and Scott are always joking about the impossible. Who wouldn't when your best friend's dad is the sheriff of Beacon Hills? All jokes stop when they realize the impossible is indeed possible.
Tumblr media
Chapter 48: Family and Hell
Sam headed back inside the building and looked for Theo who hissed, holding his cut side in pain. "You still with us, Raeken?", she asked, walking up to him.
He scoffed. "Last name basis, now?" She rolled her eyes, crouching near him. "Just tell me you wanna get killed first and I'll hand you to the beast if it'll make you feel better.", she says, sarcastically.
He grunted, trying to sit up on the wall. "Lemme see.", Sam said, reluctantly.
He looked at her before removing his bloody hand, showing her a gash. She grimaced and hovered her glowing hand above his wound, helping him heal.
He watched in astonishment once she finished, feeling sore in her own side before feeling the pain subside.
He looked up at her as she looked at him with a frown. "That's what you've been missing out on. If you played nice, you'd probably learn more about me than you do now.", she said, standing up.
Theo looked down before getting up. She turned away from him, ready to walk away. "We just...", she sighed. She paused. "I just wish you did better.", she says, before turning around to face him.
"We probably need you on our team more than you need us. But that doesn't make you boss. That just makes you a part of the pack. If you used your abilities the right way instead of just using them for being an overlord or whatever you were gonna call yourself.", Sam said then left the Raeken boy.
"Sam!", Scott called. She ran up to him, pausing as she caught Tracy. "Shit."
"So, you're alive.", Tracy frowned.
"Guess electricity doesn't knock you out for long, huh?", Sam scoffed and ran after Scott who rushed over to Liam.
Scott and Liam picked up the Surgeon and looked at Sam. "Is he…?", she grimaced.
"He's still alive.", Scott nodded. "We're taking him to Deaton."
Sam nodded, following Scott and Liam to the Animal Clinic.
The Surgeon was laid out on the table and the pack surrounded him. Deaton looked over the doctor, examining the head while Scott and Stiles stood on the one side as Liam and Sam stood on the opposite side.
"Can you keep him alive?" Scott questioned Deaton. "I'm not sure he technically is alive." Deaton said.
"Screw keeping him alive.", Liam uttered. "How do we get him to talk?"
"Personally, I don't think we utilize torture nearly enough.", Stiles retorted. "Stiles.", Sam warned with raised eyebrows.
Stiles let out a small huff.
"Wait. Did you hear that?", Liam asked and they looked at him before the older werewolves began to hear a ringing in their ears that got louder.
Sam covered her ears. "What's going on?", Stiles asked, confused. The ringing got deafeningly and painfully louder, causing Sam to drop to a knee. What the hell was this noise??
"It's Sebastien.", Scott whispered. "He's calling out to–"
Sam let out a loud, painful yell and the Surgeon shot up on the table, emitting his frequency. Everyone had their ears covered from the loud noises.
The tables rattled and the floor shook as the Surgeon jumped off the table, standing up and headed for the door. Liam uncovered his ears, instantly chasing after the doctor.
"Liam, wait!", Scott yelled and Sam reached for Liam but the Surgeon whipped his hand back that created a force wave and Liam flew back into Sam.
They both covered their ears, thrashing on the floor as the surgeon escaped.
As the noise decreased, Stiles ran to Sam and took her in his arms, as she groaned. "You okay?", Stiles asked.
Sam let out a panting sigh. "I hate those doctors."
"The cane.", Scott whispered.
"They got the cane.", Liam said "What?" Stiles frowned as well as Sam.
"The pike was the cane that he had and Argent and Gerard took it.", Scott stated.
Sam got up. "Then that means that Sebastien wants it and he's gonna track it down."
With that, Scott starting looking through Mason's files. "Maybe there's something in here. Something about how he was a Genetic Chimera."
"Mason had a vanishing twin.", Deaton nodded.
"Now we've got a vanishing Mason.", Stiles complained.
"A vanishing twin?", Sam asked. "He ate his twin.", Deaton summed. Sam grimaced. God.
Liam shrugged. "What does that have to do with him turning into a 250-year-old French guy? How does that even happen?"
"Scott might have something.", Deaton said "Mason's twin wasn't entirely gone. That's what made him a Genetic Chimera."
"The DNA was still there.", Scott said in realization.
"Metaphorically speaking, the DNA of Mason could still be inside Sebastien as well."
"How?" Stiles furrowed his brow.
"Energy.", Sam suggested.
"Sam's right. Life is energy. Energy doesn't just disappear. The Dread Doctors may have found a way to break the rules of the supernatural world but there are some rules that simply won't break.", Deaton explained.
"So Mason can't just be gone?", Liam asked.
"Somewhere in Sebastien he has to still exist in some form. A spark of energy, a flicker of memory."
Stiles picked up the Surgeon's mask, eyeing it. "Hang on... Liam, you said Mason said something right before he turned."
"Yeah.", Liam said. "He said, "That's not my name'." Sam said.
Scott nodded. "He finally remembered his name." "Damnatio Memoriae.", Stiles said.
"That's what they wanted. They wanted Sebastien to remember his name.", Liam nodded.
"That was enough for them.", Sam said. "We called him Mason. Kept calling him Mason and he just… he wasn't having it."
Deaton looked at Scott. "Scott, you know the myth of what happens when you call a werewolf by its given name?"
"It turns back to human."
"What does that mean?", Liam asked. "Someone can just walk up to the Beast, yell Mason's name and turn him back?"
"Not just someone..."
"It's gotta be Lydia.", Sam said.
Stiles nodded. "We'll get her."
The teen split up, and Sam went after the Surgeon. She managed to sense where the doctor was and saw a man's head instead.
She walked up to it to see a ghostly pale, clammy face that had indents of old stitches in it. She gave it a nudge with her foot, causing the one good eye to look up at her.
"The beast…. has been created.", he rasped.
Sam frowned. "What was the purpose? What were you trying to gain from this?"
The man took in a raspy breath. "I…." Black blood dripped out of his mouth. His death was approaching. "I owed a friend a favor."
She tilted her head in confusion before letting out a soft breath of realization. "You're Marcel."
The surgeon nodded. Sam shook her head. "You brought him back. Why?" The man hadn't answered. "How do we stop him from hurting anyone else? He's uncontrollable.", Sam pressed.
"You can defeat him…with the pike.", he answered. "Just as the banshee must wield her scream..and the hellhound wields its fire." As he gave a final sigh, he finally died.
Sam walked away heading for the police station. In the sheriff's office, sebastien sat in front of sheriff stilinski's desk and the sheriff put away his phone after getting Stiles' messages, explaining the problems. The older Stilinski looked at Sebastien. "You're looking for one of the argents?"
Sebastien looked at him with amused eyes. "You seem to know who I am. That means you know what I'm capable of."
"I've got some experience.", the sheriff agreed.
"Your weapons may be more sophisticated than the arrows and the bullets of my time, but they still won't kill me.", Sebastien determined.
The sheriff reached into his holster, took out his gun and sat it down on his desk as he stared at Sebastien, certain of himself. "I'm pretty sure a nine millimeter beretta will do more damage than an 18th century musket."
Sebastien set his jaw, eyeing the gun before looking at the sheriff. "Are you certain? I can walk out of this place with my hands clean. Or, I can walk out with them drenched in blood.", he said, with raised eyebrows. "Your choice."
Sebastien stood up and the sheriff did as well, preparing for any attack.
The deputy outside the office noticed the commotion and busted in the office. "Sir?", the deputy looked at her supervisor.
"Clarke, don't." Sheriff held his hand up to stop her. Sebastien glared at Clarke and she glared at him. "Stop where you are."
His eyes immediately illuminated in a blue light and his fangs protruded from his lips. "Let him go.", the sheriff ordered but the deputy whipped out her gun, aiming at Sebastien, making him let out a growl as he pounded at her. Both authorities shot off their guns.
Lydia, who was already at the sheriff's office, heard the guns go off, fearing what was to come. Lydia left the room she stayed in and watched as Sebastien turned towards her and growled. He ran over, ready to strike his long claws into her throat.
Before he could harm her any deeper, Lydia let out her best screech, making him stumble back. She raised her hands, pushing the force of her scream to make him fly back into the wall.
Hayden arrived and saw his form, making her step away in fear. Sebastien glanced down at his claws, seeing Lydia's blood on them and looked up at her to see her holding her bloody neck. Lydia's eyes fluttered as she dropped to her knees.
His eyes then roamed up to Hayden and he stood, huffing. "Hayden. Your name is Hayden." Before he could attack anyone else, Sam busted in the sheriff's office, partially shifted as she let out a growl.
She looked to see a bloody Lydia and knelt down to her. "Hey. Hey!", she carried Lydia into her arms as she glanced at Sebastien who took Hayden. "Shit."
"Sam.", the girl looked up to see the sheriff. "We gotta get her to the hospital." Sam nodded and carried her out to the van.
On the way to the hospital, Sam made sure to heal anything that could fatally kill Lydia before arriving. At least, she'd be able to get some rest.
Sam helped Lydia out of the van and into the hospital, coming straight for Melissa. "We need help! It's Lydia."
The woman got more nurses to help Lydia onto a stretcher and into a room. "What happened?", Melissa asked Sam. Sam sighed. "The usual."
Scott, Stiles, and Liam had arrived at the hospital, and Melissa gave a rundown of Lydia's condition.
After that, Scott, Sam and Liam waited out in the hall while Stiles stayed with Lydia. "Is she okay?", Liam asked. "She's gonna be fine, but... She can't really talk.", Scott said.
Liam nodded. "Then it's over, isn't it?" He frowned, growing upset. "There's nothing we can do to save him."
Sam looked at the boy sadly. "Liam…"
Scott picked up his phone, receiving multiple voicemails from Kira and walked away to listen to them. Liam sighed sadly. They were running out of time and he was gradually losing his friend.
It hurt.
Sam looked at the boy and brought him into a hug. "I'm sorry. I wish we had more time to get him.", she mumbled. He hugged her back. "I just… I wish I knew earlier."
Sam pulled away to look at him. "Hey, there's nothing you could've done. You weren't even supposed to be dragged into supernatural things. You're still new to this, there's just some things you might not know or not be prepared for. But we got you anyways.", she reassured.
Liam looked down. "Scott… Scott told me you revived someone. Could you do that in case we do lose Mason? In case… I do?", he asked.
Sam frowned sadly. "It only works if I take someone's life. I was only able to revive him because I helped kill the Nogitsune. It would've probably worked if I had killed Kate, but I couldn't. It's not always easy. Trust me."
She put a hand on his shoulder, making him look at her. "We're gonna get this done. We'll save Mason. Okay?" Liam sighed and nodded before being brought into another hug.
They pulled away once Scott came back. "C'mon."
Liam and Sam looked confused. "Why?"
"Because I've got an idea. And because this isn't over.", he determined and his betas followed after him, entering Lydia's room.
Scott pulled his mom aside to talk to her and Sam went over to Stiles. "How's she doing?", she asked. "She's stable. Scott's mom said she got lucky."
Sam nodded.
Scott had told them his plan and his pack nodded. Liam and Scott helped Lydia sit up as Melissa walked over to her. "Lydia, this is gonna have to be just between us, because I could get fired for it."
Melissa took out a syringe filled with a liquid.
"It's a cortisone shot. It's gonna bring the inflammation down," Scott stated as his mom took off the cap to reveal the huge needle.
Scott's betas instantly tensed up, getting nervous themselves, while Lydia weakly nodded, taking out her arm from under the covers. "Not there.", Melissa said and reached for the bandage patch that was on Lydia's neck. She peels back the one top part and Lydia groans in pain.
Stiles nodded. "Oh, yeah, okay, I'm gonna need to leave."
"You're not going anywhere.", Melissa instructed. "Hold her hand."
"Okay, fine." He huffed. "I'm not leaving, but I still might faint.", he complained.
Melissa took a breath. "Okay. Here we go." She aimed the needle to her neck and before she could insert it, they paused at the sound of a thud.
They turned around and saw that Liam had passed out. Sam shook her head and picked him up as Melissa continued.
After everything settled and got Lydia dressed up, they quickly left the hospital. "Okay. I'll get Malia. Text me when you find Parrish.", Stiles said, getting ready to go.
"Hold on.", Scott stopped him and reached into his pocket, handing Stiles a brown paper bag.
"What is this?", Stiles asked, confused.
"Something I've been working on for a while. Just make sure Malia gets it.", Scott said.
Stiles nodded. "Is it plan B?"
"It was plan A."
"Plan A never works.", Stiles frowned.
"This is gonna work.", Sam said, making the boys look at her. "It has to. We haven't exactly failed before. We're gonna finish this."
Scott nodded and left with Liam and Lydia. Stiles and Sam arrived at the house, and hopped out of the Jeep, running up to the front of the house.
Stiles quickly swung the door open and stopped, making Sam frown and look over his shoulder.
Malia was standing on the staircase with her fangs bared while her mother was on the opposite side, pointing her gun directly at Stiles and Sam. "Ah, damn.", Stiles mumbled, shaking his head.
Before the bullet could hit either of the two, Sam put up a barrier and pushed it toward the woman. Sam huffed and looked around, her eyes catching Malia. "You okay?", she asked. Malia nodded.
"Yeah– look out!", Stiles takes Sam in his arms, ducking her out of the way as Corrine attacks Malia.
They ducked as Malia groaned, clattering on the glass coffee table, causing it to shatter.
Corinne threw Malia into the wall, and glared at her. Sam and Stiles watched as Corinne turned towards them, grinning. "You should've brought your bat.", Sam muttered, and shifted, growling at the woman.
"Hm. You're new.", Corrine said, turning to attack Sam. Before she could, Stiles moved in front of Sam, ready to send a punch to the woman. "No, you don't!"
Corrine dodged and backhanded him onto the floor, landing him in the shards of glass from the coffee table. "Stiles!", Sam exclaimed, not seeing him move.
Sam let out a loud growl, bringing the woman's shadow toward her before sending a punch in the woman's face, slamming her back against the wall next to Malia.
Stiles rolled over coughing and Sam rushed to him. "Hey.", she called, helping him on his back. Her eyes widened at the large glass shard in his shoulder. His blood was spreading fast. "Shit.", she muttered. He groaned. "Just get the talons.", Stiles said.
They jumped at the sound of a gunshot and saw Malia holding her bloodied shoulder as her mother aimed a pistol at her and continued to shoot.
Sam hurriedly got the talons, and looked at Malia. "Malia, catch!", Sam called, gaining the werecoyote's attention and threw the talons to her. Malia hurriedly caught the talons and put them onto her palm.
Her mother stormed over to her and plunged her claws into the girl's stomach as her eyes brightened blue.
Malia groaned, clenching her jaw tightly. "I want my power back!" Her mother growled.
Malia put the claws on and let the jar fall to the floor. Malia growled back and plunged her own claws into her mother's stomach, making the talons illuminate a pale blue color. Malia huffed as her blue eyes brightened more than before. "I want my family back.", she declared.
Corinne gasped, her glowing eyes dimmed as Malia removed her from the talons, making her stumble back. Braeden rushed behind her, and before Corrine could run, Braeden brought the butt of her shotgun and slammed it in her face, knocking her out.
Sam let out a sigh and gave Braeden a nod.
"Can someone please come and take this gigantic shard of glass out of my chest? Please?", Stiles said, making Sam chuckle and kneel down to him.
Sam placed a hand on his unharmed shoulder and looked at him as she reached for the shard. "Take a deep breath."
"On three.", Stiles said hurriedly. Sam rolled her eyes. "One."
"Two." Stiles let out a loud yell as Sam yanked it out. She hurriedly healed him as he whined. "We were supposed to go three.", he frowned.
Sam shook her head, helping him up.
After leaving the house, Sam, Stiles, Braeden and Malia were notified that the beast was finally taken care of and Theo was taken to hell by his dead sister who Kira revived.
"Dammit, I wish I could've seen that!", Sam complained. "You're so weird!", Stiles exclaimed as he drove them home.
