1. Canon I outright reject: until the show goes the way of the comic, I’m rejecting the ‘Billy Butcher is a complete piece of shit who would kill all his friends for some ideology’ characterization. And I’d probably still reject it even if Kripke gives us that for shock value.

3. Obscure headcanon: probably not obscure, but he sorely sorely needs someone younger/purer/more naive to rewrite the history with the younger brother whom he failed to protect. Not obscure because that’s explicitly Hughie in the show, but obscure that he might extend that to others. I hate that the show hasn’t fucking extended it to Ryan at least so far, so there’s my obscure hc, oh whoops is this another canon rejection? And yes all my longform butchlander content is effectively ways of activating that dormant part of his brain for his most hated person.

26. What would he do if stuck in an elevator with HL? He tends to be really quiet and listen while HL goes off on some subject or tries to coax him into a dialogue, largely unsuccessfully, so probably that (assuming he’s not on Temp V). I’m sure he’d wonder why HL doesn’t just break out of the elevator and then realize in dismay that HL likes having him as captive audience.

What I’m wondering is why he was taking an elevator with HL in the first place. Is HL showing him his Vought tower apartment and they’re on friendly intimate terms? In that case, I heavily suspect Billy may have sabotaged the elevator himself to avoid going into that apartment, and is just waiting for HL to stop talking and start doing something more NSFW inside the elevator.

Oooooh, absolutely! 10/10, and not only with him.

She has matured a lot, which means whenever she indulges in her... old habits, it tends to be in a much more controlled fashion. Both for ill and for good. She may not be nearly as good as Samel in getting her way by sheer force of personality, but she knows how to compensate that more or less.

It goes from openly getting in shenanigans with some of them (I absolutely see her recruiting Woljif for some of those, he would enjoy it immensely), to indulging the companions a bit too much. No, letting Daeran/Woljif/Seelah/etc do that only speaks of trouble, but it sure is the right kind of trouble.

Honestly, I think the worst companion you can bring up to channel this energy isn't even Daeran, it's Nenio. Because Nenio doesn't bring out the childish Overly Elaborate Pretend Play energy, she brings out the Mad Nethysian Scientist energy she gained in her teens. Nela may roll her eyes with a good amount of Nenio's experiments, but once her interest is picked... now that's another matter.

Nenio and Nela have absolutely destroyed at least one (1) room in Drezen with an experiment gone wrong, just saying. Probably more. Nela's authority means she can make any stupid idea into a Legit Experiment on whatever magical method or principle is in question that day.

This side of hers absolutely sees the light sometimes even on the job, albeit that takes the shape of goading/letting her companions or others cause useful mayhem just by being themselves. The Ember returning the magical trash option on Crusade mode lives in my head rent-free and Nela was absolutely drinking her coffee and laughing to herself when she asked for Ember's help. Any Crusade option that has the "and then i purposefully annoyed someone enough to get my way" energy feel very her.

She may lean to lawful on the job, but she is not lawful!

(childhood) friends to lovers and found family. and maybe first meetings and mutual pinings. something bittersweet

i don't know. but i do want to try writing darker themes.

I've been keeping myself in check lately, but from the top off my head... 'just', 'smile', 'blink', 'open [one's] eyes' and its variations ^^;

13. What feedback did you receive for your writing that stuck with you?

every time someone says my fic gutted them or hit their feels just right or when it made them cry. people say i have a good grasp on characters and some have commented that i am able to convey poignant emotions that don't feel overdone :') and then there was that time someone said my writing reads like poetry, and another time someone else said my descriptions are clean and concise. I've always been insecure about my prose, how I can't write these beautiful passages and sometimes I wonder if that has anything to do with english not being my first language. so seeing someone took note of my simplicity and even praised it made me so happy ;A;

The only one I can remember is Rose and Scorpius from Harry Potter lol. I was obsessed with them when I was like 12, I even made like a story with like the next gen kids (before the Cursed Child released). Then I paired up Albus with an OC and they became my favorite ship instead LMAO. I'm not that into the fandom anymore but I do still think about them sometimes. (Also to be clear I do not support J.K Rowling AT ALL, even created a metamorphmagus trans lady as a teacher in my story to piss her off lol)

Comic book series Fables! Just finished vol. 14 today. Only 57 issues to finish the original run lol. The Telltale video game The Wolf Among Us is based on these comics if you were curious! (that's what got me into comics, now I work at a comic book store LMAO)

Decided to watch The Mitchells VS The Machines again (yes recently I've only been watching A LOT of animated movies fjhjksshjfk) and it's such a great movie. I totally had forgotten about the Furby scene (don't ask) and I almost cried of laughter.

Is there anything you used to like but can’t stand now?*

I used to love Steven Universe. Don't judge me please. ;_;

The concept of the gem species interested me. I thought it was a fun new concept, and I had fun watching the show.

And then the fandom ruined it. Let's just say that when people come down on you in public servers and get the entirety of the group to tell you to kill yourself because of a disagreement about how a character behaved, it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. And that's just scratching the surface of toxic behavior I encountered with that fandom, not touching all the proshipping.

It got to the point where I was so sick of the toxicity of the fandom that every time I looked at the show all I could think of was said toxicity.

So now I hate the fandom, the show, and I wish I didn't.
