Michael did a great interview with Screen Rant this week!
Michael: "Sometimes I wouldn't think at all, sometimes the camera would just move in on me and I turned my head. I wasn't thinking about anything, and people would say, 'Oh my gosh, what were you thinking about?' I'd go 'Nothing! I was thinking about nothing. Lunch, I'm hungry!' I think that's sometimes when you can clear your brain of thought, people wonder 'What is he up to?' He's not up to anything, he's just checking out Clark's butt!"

Another thing I love about early Smallville is how Clark will go to Lex for dating advice.
Clark, sweetie baby. This is the same Lex Luthor who got married twice in one season and both wives tried to murder him 😂

Found this silly reddit for which Superman couple had the best chemistry:
"Clark and Lex were obsessed with each other to the point where someone should've thrown a cold bucket of water in their direction"
Sizzle
omg in this panel, they said they took feedback from their gay wardrobe manager on their facial expressions/nonverbal gestures towards each other:
"And then we had Steve... Steve, our wardrobe guy, he was, what would you say? Eccentric, gay man who would always be like, "Oh my god. You're gonna let that take go? You should definitely do another." - Steve would sometimes say, "You need to go again." The directors would get mad. They're like, "Who is he?" "He's the Wardrobe guy." And he's like, "I know better than you, trust me.""
YES finger snaps
their chemistry is like I've been living in an amish village and just saw an exposed ankle for the first time :O
