Piss off your parents pt.1
Tumblr media
PART 2
PART 3
Colby Brock x Reader (Female)
Warnings: Drinking, Swearing
Genre: FLUFF, Friends to Lovers, Fake Dating, RPF (Real Person Fic)
Summary: You just wanted to rebel a little, how did it get to this?
"Y/N, you're fucking insane." Colby grumbles, struggling as he unbuckles one of his best friends out of the backseat of his car. She, however, seems completely unbothered by him maneuvering her into an upright position. She's giggling, actually, a direct contrast to her mascara streaked cheeks. She's drunk, wasted. Three sheets to the wind, if you will.
He already had to put two other drunk messes to bed tonight, Y/N's his third. He should be getting paid per person and per difficulty. Nate was the easiest to subdue, followed by Sam who put up a brief 'I'm not even drunk, dudeeee' kind of fight. And now her.
The party was at Sam's house so the previous two didn't require any special treatment other than being dunked into Sam's bed. Y/N however...
She'd pleaded with Colby, the most sober one of the bunch, to just let her be. Let loose, get drunk, flirt around a bit. That being said, four hours later - two hours past her curfew - when he tried prying her away from the drink table she put up one hell of a fight.
"You have the balance of a newborn giraffe! You're done! I'm cutting you off!" He'd yelled over the music, hearing his own parents' scolding in his tone but he ignored it. He had to take on the parenting role with his friends, it was his turn after all. He knows they'd do the same - they've done the same - when he was plastered. He owed them the same curtesy. Especially Y/N.
She's usually on parenting duty, not really on the heavy drinker side. But after the fight with her parents she told him about earlier, he can't blame her for wanting to drown it out with a few extra shots.
A few too many extra shots.
He was planning on just safely storing her in one of the guestrooms for the night and playing nurse the following morning when all three would undoubtedly have a hangover. But that's when Y/N's cognitive thought kicked in.
"My parents are gonna kill me if I don't make it home tonight! I can't sleep here!" She was - and still is - heavily slurring her words but the thought of further pissing off her folks drove her into an almost sobering panic. "Call me an Uber while I find my shoes. What time is it?"
Colby had carefully dodged around answering that question, knowing it would send her into a full blown heart attack knowing she was running so late. He tried telling her on time but she'd blown him off, saying she didn't care about the stupid curfew or at least that's how much he'd caught from her string of slurred rambles.
"You're not getting an Uber at this hour. Come on, I'll drive you." He'd said reassuringly as he picked up one of her stray shoes.
They soon found the second one and her missing purse and within fifteen minutes they'd gotten in his car and were gliding down the road with the speed of a tortoise. At this point in time Colby was neither drunk nor tipsy but that didn't stop him from sweating bullets as he operated the vehicle.
"I don't wanna go to Barton!" He'd believed she was asleep after the long stretch of silence following their departure so her sudden exclamation was quite startling.
"You won't, Y/N. You're coming with us to LA, remember?" He believed in that lie as much as she did, but he needed to soothe her somehow.
"Not according to mom! I'm gonna be stuck here in Kansas all my life!" Her anger was now engulfed by sobs Colby gently offered tissues for.
He stayed quiet and let her ramble, only partially listening to the words spilling directly from her heart. He especially tried drowning out the part where she went on a whole rant abut her massive crush on Nate.
But, alas, he wasn't successful, seeing as how he was white-knuckle-gripping the steering wheel more than half the way to her house.
That's how they've ended up here - one a giggly and mascara stained drunken mess and the other a bitter and regretfully sober babysitter. Well, babysitter, Uber driver and therapist all in one. He really should start charging for his services.
He wraps one of Y/N's arms around his shoulders, securing it there by holding her hand while his other arm fixates itself around her waist to keep her upright and at least semi steady on her feet.
With a silent prayer, he tries pushing the front door open with zero luck. It's locked.
He's cycling through all the stages of grief as he comes to terms with the fact that he will, unfortunately, have to ring the bell and alert Y/N's parents of their arrival.
He does just that, although quite begrudgingly, sighing heavily when he sees a light turn on through one of the windows. The sound of oncoming footsteps follows.
His eyes are soon met with the unpleasant glare of Y/N's mom who - as he's picked up on from their handful of interactions - already isn't very fond of him.
Just him!
She's lovely to Sam and Nate, but he's not extended the same curtesy. You can visibly see the air around her get colder when she approaches him whereas she's always been so kind and welcoming to the other two people in their friend group. He hasn't been able to figure out why. Bringing it up to Y/N proved futile as she just shrugged and shook her head.
"No clue, Colbs. But don't take it personally. She's just like that." She had said, but it didn't sit right with Colby. It made no sense. And it continues to bother him.
And unnerve him, specifically now as he's being stared down by her icy gaze.
"I'm sorry to bother you, Mrs. Y/L/N....just bringing Y/N home. She had a little too much to drink." There's no way in hell he could've concealed her drunkenness. She's hanging off of him with her head bowed, her hair forming a curtain over her face. He wouldn't be surprised if he were to find her already asleep.
"You know where her room is." There's an edge to her scoff that could slit a man's throat, but Colby chooses not to dwell on it. Truly, he can't, seeing as how she's already moving away from the doorway and down the hall into the living room, leaving him to deal with the mess she thinks he caused.
He can't find it in himself to be offended right now, although he probably will be later. He has bigger fish to fry.
And so, with his options limited, he opts to pick her up bridal style so he can easily carry her up the stairs. He hopes to God her parents don't see this and get the wrong idea.
Oh if he only knew what's to come...
As carefully as he can, he settles his unconscious best friend on her bed, tucking her in. He's murmuring reassuring words under his breath as he does so, not sure if they're meant for her or him but in the end it all works out.
"Night, Y/N." With that whispered in the darkness of the room and a gentle kiss on her temple, he makes his exit, briefly stopping at the bottom of the stairs to peek into the living room, "Good night, Mrs. Y/L/N."
"It's almost morning." Her reply is on-par with most of their interactions so he just pushes past it, shaking his head slightly before leaving out the front door.
As he does so, he notices the sky has taken on a brighter shade of blue, signaling Y/N's mom really wasn't exaggerating. With a sigh, he gets back behind the wheel, heading to Sam's house to check on his other two patients.
* * * * *
Her head is pounding but you'd never be able to tell from the giant grin on her face as she sprints through the neighborhood, skipping through backyards and hopping the occasional fence to cut the trip short. The strap of a duffle bag is slung over her shoulder, she's clutching onto it tightly. It has all her belongings in it, after all. It's of upmost importance she doesn't lose it.
That's be rather unfortunate right after spontaneously moving out, wouldn't it?
She wouldn't say she got kicked out of the house per-se. That would indicate that she was thrown out against her will. Quite the contrary actually. She was more than happy to leave. Had she known those were the magic words, she would've said them so much sooner.
She catches herself before she can make a face-first collision with Sam's front door, stopping to catch her breath and knock a couple of times. And a couple more times. And a few more times.
It's safe to say she's impatient. But with the news she has, you can't blame her.
"Stop! Stop!" A disheveled Sam finally opens the door, one hand partially covering his pale face, "Too loud..."
Y/N gives herself a moment to feel guilty and hug him apologetically before dashing inside. "Colby's here, right?"
"Yeah!" She hears his voice coming from the kitchen and immediately makes a beeline in his direction, dropping her bag in the foyer.
Upon entry, she finds Colby and Nate sitting by the kitchen island, both in different stages of 'the morning after'. Despite the crippling headache, however, the latter finds it in him to give her a genuine smile, sliding off the stool to envelop her in a hug.
"Aww, is someone hungover?" She mocks Nate, sneaking a sip from his Gatorade.
"Hey!" He complains, reaching over to snatch the bottle from her, "Give it back! I need it way more than you do."
Colby, unable to stomach their interaction - for reasons he doesn't want to get into right now - busies himself by looking down at his phone.
He's known of Y/N's little crush on Nate for months now. At first it was only speculation based off her demeanor around him. And then it was more like a punch to the gut when she tipsily confirmed it one night.
"Colbs?" Her voice snaps him out of his brief bitter spiral, forcing him to look up, "Can I borrow you outside for a sec?"
He's struggled with saying 'no' to her since the day they met. Not that he wants to turn her down, he just wishes he could.
And wishes she didn't. Without even knowing it. Turn him down, that is.
With a nod, he follows her out to the patio where the sun isn't kind to either of them, adding gasoline to the fire of their raging hangovers.
"Sup?" Try as he might, he has never been good at feigning nonchalance around her.
It's surprising to see her nervous. For once, he believes their playing field to be even. "So...I've got good news wrapped up in bad news."
Her words would panic him a lot more had she not come in like a force of nature with a gleaming smile adorning her face. Still, it's not at the top of the list of things he wants to hear on a Saturday morning. So, with an exaggerated sigh, he signals for her to continue, "I'm all ears. The last twenty four hours can't get much worse."
He watches her face twist as she cringes, well aware she's about to prove him wrong, "Well...." With a deep breath, she finally spits it out, "The good news is, I'm coming with you guys to LA."
Colby doesn't spare a second, momentarily forgetting the bad news she'd mentioned as he scoops her up in a hug, "No fucking way! Hell yeah! I fucking told you!" He can't describe the immense joy and relief he's feeling right now. "Kiss that Barton College shit goodbye!"
Giggling, Y/N kicks her feet, looking for solid ground beneath them. Not that she's in a rush to be set back down. In fact, for a split second, she wishes this moment could last forever.
But, she's aware it's impossible.
Suddenly, she feels guilt creeping in for even letting that thought run loose in her head. She doesn't even know how or why it popped up.
She just knows she's about to ruin it all.
"One problem..." It's actually far more than one, but they'll dissect that later on. She just has to get the main one out the way, "You see, how that came to be...."
"You have no shame! You get wasted at parties, break rules, come home past curfew." Mrs. Y/L/N's voice is shaking the house, echoing twice as loudly in Y/N's head as she's just trying to eat a bowl of cereal. "Random people are bringing you home at dawn!"
She has the gull to argue back, "Colby is not just some random person, mom!"
"Oh yeah, he of all people was the one bringing you home! What the hell, Y/N?!"
Her mom has never liked Colby. The problem is, no one knows why. Y/N isn't sure if her mom even knows why. She tried asking once, it didn't go over so well.
But that's when two and two click together into a four in her head - a bright idea. Actually, 'dim' would be better. Nothing bright is welcome within her proximity with the splitting headache she's nursing.
Without a second thought, she blurts out: "What's so wrong with having my boyfriend take me home after a party?"
Her words ring out like a gunshot in the quiet house. Yet they are nothing in comparison to the explosion of her mother's anger in response.
Colby's mouth is hanging open, his gaze piercing through more so than focusing on his friend.
She, on the other hand, is sweating bullets, anxiously waiting for him to say something and break the long silence that has fallen upon them. When he doesn't, she wills herself to whisper a mousy little "I'm sorry."
Finally, a voice leaves his parted lips: "Y/N, you're fucking insane."

Ghostly Encounter
Tumblr media
Again, this imagine isn't written to entirely match the actual video of The Hospital Of Nuns
Mentions of rape, violence
Slight changes of the request, i think
Colby and i have known each other for a lifetime now. We've been friends for a lifetime, our parents used to go to the same college, later on becoming neighbours and when both our mothers gave birth to us months apart, they kept on bringing us to each other's house to play together. I've always supported him and he supported me and we even talked about getting into the same college program. But he decided he wanted to pursue another type of career, which i fully supported him into. No matter the choices we've made in life, it looks like destiny has another plan for us, because a while back I've been accepted at UCLA, which made things so much easier for Colby and i. We've basically never gotten apart from one another, which is wild to think about.
Today, him and Sam invited me to go ghost hunting with them and Nate at Hospital of Nuns. I got really exciting when they proposed this to me and i was eager to accept it and to also get there. It's also a very good opportunity to catch up with Nate, since i haven't seen this man in a minute.
.
.
"This doesn't look like a hospital", i say as i get out of the car and scan the building with wide eyes.
"I know right? It looks insane", Colby wow's next to me and scans the surroundings
"Insanely damaged tho", i scrunch my nose when we almost enter the building, the mouldy, dusty and cracked walls still trying to keep up the structure of the old hospital after a lifetime. Colby chuckles behind me and we get ready for the tour of the rooms. We walk from room to room almost, spending more time in the most active rooms in the hospital. "You heard that? They don't like guys with tattoos. I'm finally out of any ghostly danger", i chuckle and the boys laugh. However, the guide raises his two point fingers in the air to stop us from laughing, signaling he disagrees with me.
"Actually", he pauses to capture our attention, "there is a certain room that women seem to be targeted and there is also a reason for that.", he leaves the room for us to follow him. I gulp and give Colby a concerned look. He puts a hand on the small of my back to comfort me.
"You brought me to the wrong place, besties", i nervously laugh and i almost bump into Sam when we suddenly stop in front of a door. The room is down in the basement and let alone the fact that it's a basement, the whole way down here is creepier than the Chapel.
"Here, it's the priest's bedroom. It's said that he used to rape two of the nuns who ran this hospital-church, which later on found out they're pregnant. The priest wouldn't have allowed that to happen, so, legend has it that he was either violent with them until they lost the kids or he made the two women abort them, which led to the nuns' deaths. He's known to be a pretty violent spirit and a few days ago, this woman had her hair pulled and another one had a bruise on her hip."
I gasp and cross my arms at my chest, feeling discouraged all of a sudden. I left this morning with great vibes and eager to experience what the boys do all the time. Now.. I'm questioning my choices in life, but also want to live the most out of this ghost hunting investigation.
The tour ends shortly after and we take a break to make up the investigation plan. Who goes where, what we use and so on.
"I'll take the prison room with Nate", Sam says and we nod, Nate exhaling in relief he doesn't go alone.
"Thank you brother", Nate hugs him and we laugh.
"I'll take the priest's room", i blurt out, shocked by my own choice. I frown at how direct i was.
"What? No, you're not. You heard Eddie. He is violent towards women", Colby almost shouts at me and massages his temples with his fingers. "You can't go there, I'll go"
"Colbs, you can't go to a room where you won't get any answers from because you're not a trigger object", i say and hand him one of the spirit boxes.
"You're not supposed to be a trigger object, y/n, you're supposed to be safe", he takes the spirit box and i feel the anxiousness in his voice. Sam and Nate go to the car to get the equipment that's missing. Colby clears his throat and lowers his voice almost to a whisper. "I'm sorry, y/n, i just want you to be ok, not a target for tonight. You never kniw what can happen and i don't want anything to happen to you", he puts a hand on my cheek and pinches it. A heat of wave hits me and i clear my throat, taking a step back from Colby. He takes his hand away and clears his throat too, a soft shade of pink visible on top of his cheeks.
"I'll be fine, of there's anything wrong at any time, I'll shout.", i give him an assuring smile, but his face remains straight, concerned.
"So, all good?", Sam asks, holding dozens of equipment parts in his hands. I smile at the view and nod.
"I'll take the room where the nuns don't like my tattoos", Colby sighs
"You came prepared for a week of investigating, not a night", i say amused
"This is what Sam and Colby is about", Sam laughs and we enter the building. We go our separate ways and we all hug each other amused, like we're not going to see each other again in half an hour. I think this is our coping mechanism when it comes to fear. Colby stays a few seconds longer with me when the guys leave for their room. He hugs me tightly.
"You call me of you hear anything, if you see anything, if you feel anything. I'll run down those stairs if needed.", his voice is calmer, but it breaks when saying the last words.
"I'll be fine, i won't do any of those. I'm not a crybaby.", i say amused, still hugging him.
"I know, you're so stubborn", he chuckles and kisses the top of my head. "Good luck"
I smile and turn my back to him, heading down the stair with a flashlight. "Good luck". I enter the room and place the camera on a chair next to the bed, filming myself, half of the room and also lightning up my surroundings. I have a clear view of the hallway, which freaks me out, but i sit on the bed and start scanning the room. I hold the spirit box and take a few deep breaths before i start doing anything. I place my phone next to me on the bed, preparing to call Colby, just in case.
"ok guys, so this is my first investigation with the boys, also the first one ever of this kind-", a loud boom interrupts me from talking to the camera. "The fuck was that?", my voice shakes and i make silence when i hear shuffling coming from the hallway. "There's shuffling outside the room", i barely say something, just mimicking the words and pointing towards the hallway with my thumb. I stay in silence a few more seconds, a clicking sound coming from the corner of the room, behind the camera. "I'm so glad i can't see anything behind that chair, you have no idea.", i say outloud, amused, trying to cope with my fear. I turn on the spirit box and frown when the noise fills the quiet place. An uneasy feeling grows in my chest when i think i see something down the hallway. I inhale and concentrate on the spirit box.
Down with you
"You're down here with me?", i ask the deep voice that came through the radio frequencies.
>> Yes
Wanted
"What do you want?"
Revenge
This place evil
"I got chills, oh my God, how can the boys do it all the time?", i ask, looking towards the camera. "Do you mean the whole place or just this room specifically?"
>> i have power
"Am i talking to the priest?"
Yes
No
"Yes and no? Are you two different people getting in contact with me?", i jump when i hear the bedroom door creaking, but it doesn't move. I try to calm myself down and i shut off the spirit box. "Ok, so, what i think is that there's the man talking to me and also one of the nuns maybe? Because it also seems like these are two different voices.", i stay silent for a moment when the shuffling noise comes back and two loud footsteps approach the bedroom. I start shaking, but play it cool so i wouldn't lose my mind. I turn on the music box again.
Leave
Call for help
"Why should i call for help?"
He's evil, he hurts-
"Who does he hurt?", i ask and i feel a stinging sensation on my neck. I wince in pain when i turn my head around to look for my phone to check my neck. I open the front camera and put it to the side where it hurts and i drop my phone when i see three visible scratch marks and a fourth forming one. I start breathing really fast, getting up from the bed and grabbing the t-shirt I'm wearing in a fist, at my chest level. I feel like i don't get enough air in my lungs and that I'm close to collapsing. I kneel on the floor and grab my phone to call Colby. A shadow passes my peripheral view and i put a hand on the side of my face to block anything to come through. I call Colby.
"Are you -"
"Colby, please come get me, I'm so scared", i almost shout, my voice breaking, hands caressing my thighs as my body is rocking back and forth, still trying to catch my breath. I hear loud footsteps approaching me and i note in my head that if that's not a human being approaching me, I'll probably faint of i don't see anyone coming into the room. Luckily, Colby appears and gets on the floor instantly next to me. He grabs my face to make me look at him to calm me down.
"Breathe, slowly.", he breaths along with me, showing me the rhythm i should follow. We breathe in sync a few times and i calm down. My body shakes uncontrollably when he helps me get up from the floor. Colby hugs me tightly, as trying to stop me from shaking. My eyes are teary, but no tears fall on my cheeks. He rests his chin on top of my head and buries my face in his chest. He caresses my hair and my back and i grip on his hoodie like someone's going to take him away from me now when i need him the most. "What happened?", he asks and i try to talk, but my mouth is numb and i feel like i can't speak. I take another deep breath, but i turn my head around to show him, instead of speaking. His eyes grow wide. "What the fuck? Let's get you out of here", he grabs the camera, i grab my phone and the spirit box and then grabs my hand to get me upstairs.
"Get Sam and Nate, i need a break", i let go of Colby's hand and rush to get outside the hospital. I sit on a big rock a few steps away from the building. I hear the door open behind me and jump from the rock, my body shaking again.
"It's me, I'm sorry i freaked you out", Colby raises his arms in defense mode. We both sit on rocks.
"Did you get them so quickly?", i ask surprised, my mouth still numb
"No, i wanted to check on you", he offers a lazy smile
"I'm as good as i can be in a moment like this. I'm sorry i messed up your investigation", i shake my head, disappointed in me
"Never apologise for that. Who knows what would've happened to you if you didn't get out of there", Colby says in a grave voice. "I'm so stupid for putting you in this position, i am so sorry, y /n", he shakes his head and comes closer to me on another rock and sode hugs me, his arm around my shoulders. He brings me closer to his chest and i inhale the so familiar scent of his cologne and clothes.
"I want to come to more investigations with you, if you still want me to", i say and let go from his side hug. He still keeps his hand on the small of my back, as a comfort gesture.
"We would love to, you were great", Colby smiles and i take a moment to memorise his face in this moment. Big, proud smile, rosy cheeks and sparkling eyes. I smile back at him and give him a proper hug.
"You're the best"
"You had to find someone to match you"

"Oh. Well that's fun." you joked walking through the door, "My favorite thing to see when entering a haunted area," you turned, watching as the boys filtered in behind you-Sam filming, "Is a shit ton of creepy-ass dolls."
"No!" Sam exclaimed, walking over to film some of the dolls closer up, "you don't just walk in and there's this many dolls just staring in your direction"
Probably wasn't the best idea to kick off the night by making fun of some weird and possibly haunted dolls... but you only live once, right?
After a thorough bullying session, the four of you went to do a quick walk around the building, some light exploring, if you will, before the night truly begins.
Nate was in the front with Colby, followed by Sam who was filming, you walking slightly behind him at the end of the group.
"Isn't there supposed to be some strange occult shit in here too?" Nate called back, as he looked at all the walls, trying to find any of the alleged sigils.
Sam stopped, moving to the side as he positioned the camera to look at the triangular thing he found on the floor. "What is that?"
You, however, weren't phased by the "sigil" he found and walked right on top of it.
"What are you doing Y/N?!" he shouted, "That could mean anything-"
You pierced your lips, trying to hold back your laughter at your blonde friend, "It's a shuffleboard, Sam."
The blonde looked down one more time, tilting his head slightly as he did so. "Ooh, ok, yeah I see it now."
━─━────༺✧༻────━─━
"Guys, this building is actually insanely huge" Colby explained, during the initial information portion of the video, "it actually has 88 rooms in it and the haunting s are rumored to be started at the beginning of the 20th century, so it's been haunted for a very very long time."
"Legend has it," Nate joined in, "that there have been approximately 200 bodies found here. It's frequent for people to experience shadow visitations, they will get disoriented, dizzy, nauseous-"
"There are even reports of people getting like choked."
"Poltergeist activity, things getting moved around, getting pushed... this is not a good spirit place."
"And, they don't like men"
Your eyes widened as you looked between the three guys around you, "wait are you serious?"
They all nodded solemnly, mistakenly believing you to be worried on their behalf.
At least until you fist-pumped and started cheering.
"I'm sorry" you spoke despite the unapologetic grin on your face, "it's just, this is new to me" you explained gesturing to yourself, "usually in the place we go, the spirits all hate women"
Colby tilted his head to the side with a shrug, "Yeah, yeah that's true"
"So" you spoke nonchalantly, raising your arms to grasp Sam and Colby's shoulders in faux sympathy, "how's it feel to be in my shoes"
Sam laughed, shaking his head at you, "Honestly? Not a fan."
"Oh really?"
"Yeah... we might need to be more considerate in the future"
━─━────༺✧༻────━─━
You truly began the investigation within the basement of the Seminary. It is believed that this was the area where a woman was buried under the floor.
In this area, an anomaly was detected beneath the floor as well as a cadaver dog hit about three feet away. However, when they looked into it and dug the hole, nothing was there.
"Alright" Nate announced, stepping around the railings "I'm goin' in the hole."
"You're really going for it this video" Sam nodded from the corner, "Proud of you."
"Thanks, man" he deadpanned looking between the blonde and the raven-haired man controlling the camera, "Yeah, I'm stoked you guys brought me out to butt-fuck Ohio to be in a hole."
You stood behind him on the other side of the railing, laughing softly as he jumped in.
"I just want to point out" Steve spoke looking over the railing, "this is the second night in a row that we made Nate be a dead body."
"Wow!" Nate mocked, "I didn't even notice that dude."
"Wait, yeah!" you joined in, raising your voice and crunching up your face a little, "Can we talk about that for a second? It took me long enough to not be single... can we please stop killing my boyfriend" you whined stomping your foot for good measure.
The boys laughed at your antics, all the while Nate leaned forward, grabbing onto the bars, "Can I have a good-bye kiss this time?" he pouted, "You know before I leave this earthly plane and die... again"
You leaned forward and grabbed his cheeks looking straight into his eyes, "You're just pitiful, aren't you?"
"Please" he whined, dragging out the end of the word and keeping his pout.
"You're ridiculous" you whispered before leaning down and pressing a quick kiss to his lips.
He smiled, pushing himself from the bars and plopping down in the hole, "Kay, thanks babe!"
Colby 'Aw-ed' obnoxiously from behind the camera, whipping it back and forth between zooming in on Nate who now was crouched below the floor, and yourself as you leaned over the railing looking down at him.
Sam just blinked owlishly, feigning annoyance for the video, "Ok, now that that's over, can we begin the investigation now?"
once again, don't worry, i will be making a pt. 2 for this fic

“Babyyyy.” Nate drawls out the last syllable. A small smirk forms on your lips, knowing that he only did that when he wanted something from you.
You’re currently sitting on his couch, feet on the coffee table, mindlessly scrolling through your phone. Nate walks closer to the couch and hugs you from behind, burying his face in your neck.
“Yesss?” You say innocently in the same tone that he did.
“You would do anything for me, right?” He asks, voice muffled by your hair.
You laugh. “Depends on what you want me to do, babe.”
“Sam and Colby are going to Ukraine for a video and asked me to come. Come with me?” He says, and even though you can’t see him, you know that his puppy eyes are on full display.
You pretend to think about it for a moment. “What’s in it for me?” You tease. “What do I get in return?”
You feel the corners of his lips curl up against your neck. “I can think of a few different things.”
He starts placing kisses on your neck and you immediately know you’re  a goner.
“Pretty please?” He pleads. You let out a breath of air when he kisses that particular spot on your collarbone, and he smirks at your reaction.
“Not fair, Hardy.” You huff and you turn around to face your beautiful boyfriend.
“As long as I get the window seat on the plane there.” You say.
So here you are, in Ukraine, countless hours later. You had met up with Sam and Colby as soon as you arrived and are now preparing to start the intro to the video.
“Today, we are going to be visiting the Odessa catacombs, the single largest group of tunnels and underground city in the world.” Sam says to the camera.
“During Odessa’s industrial ‘boom’, they started digging for limestone underneath the surface. But because there were no regulations, they just dug at random.” Nate says.
“Which basically created a massive labyrinth that’s only like, half mapped. So  it’s like, really easy to get lost in there.” You add.
“There were literally like 2 people found dead this year in here.” Colby states.
“Wait really?” You ask. “No one told me about that part.” You chuckle but the fact kind of creeped you out. One of your worst fears about this place was to get stuck down there and never find your way out again.
Colby nods and continues. “Yeah, this isn’t like from ancient times. Even today, people get lost and there’s even cults down there.”
“Right now, we’re at the catacombs museum, a pretty popular tourist spot, but later today, we’re also going into the uncharted catacombs.”
“The wild catacombs.” Nate says dramatically and you snort.
“Wild, seriously? How can a bunch of tunnels be wild?” You ask. Sam had cut the camera by now and you start walking towards your guide.
“Babe, I know a wild thing when I see one.” He smirks as he puts an arm around your shoulders. You playfully roll your eyes at him, and you see Colby in front of you who had turned around to listen to your conversation now turn back again with an odd expression on his face, making you chuckle.
“Alright everyone, this is Ivan, our tour guide. He’s going to be helping us through the tunnels since we have no idea what we’re doing.” Colby says. “Can you maybe tell us some history about the museum and the catacombs itself?”
“The museum here was built in 1960 to remember the partisans who were hiding here during the second world war.” Ivan starts. “But the catacombs are actually just stone mines. Odessa was basically built from this material.”
“If the mines are that big, isn’t there a high risk of it collapsing while we’re in there?” You ask slightly worried, and you feel Nate take your hand in his own.
Ivan nods. “In these types of things, there’s always a risk involved. In fact, there are still many bones of miners buried underneath the collapsed parts. But hopefully everything will be safe today.” He says with a small laugh.
“Hopefully.” You mutter. You feel Nate give your hand a gentle squeeze before he turned to Ivan.
“Do you believe this place is haunted?”
The tour guide shrugs nonchalantly. “Yeah, maybe.”
Sam laughs. “He’s just like, oh whatever.”

“Dude, it’s so much colder in here.” You remark as soon as you step in the tunnels, your worries from earlier disappearing to the background.
“Yeah, it’s gonna be cold like all day.” Sam agrees.
Ivan takes you through numerous rooms and you already feel like you’re completely lost. You learn that the miners often take horses in here and that they would eventually go blind because of the absence of light. After discussing what this place would do to your biological clock and seeing the shooting range, Ivan takes you to the partisans’ hospital.
“Isn’t this like, way too small for all the people that lived down here?” You ask.
“Yes, of course. I am convinced that there are lots of other hospital rooms like this one throughout the tunnels. Obviously they won’t have like the beds in them because this is just part of the museum, but there are lots of places that could have been a hospital like this one.” Ivan says.
“C’mon dude, get it up.” You hear Sam say. You look over and see that Nate was messing with a blood pressure device thing.
“A lot of guys struggle with this, okay.” He says.
“I can help if you like.” You say seductively, winking at him. You see Colby fake gag and you’re pretty sure that if it hadn’t been for this odd lightning, Nate would have been blushing.
“Wrong website, guys!” Sam shouts laughing,
“Join xplrclub for only one dollar this week for more exclusive content.” You say at the camera, wiggling your eyebrows.
---
The hospital was the last stop of the museum tour, and you had to take a different entrance to go to the uncharted catacombs. What you didn’t realize, however, is that you had to walk up like 5 flights of stairs just to get back to the surface.
Once you get to the top, everyone’s panting heavily.
“Oh, fuck me.” You say, since that was more physical than you thought it would be. You realize how your exclaim sounds and you hold up one hand to Nate. “Don’t you dare make a joke out of that.”
He chuckles as response and puts both of his hands up defensively.
---
Once you get to the other entrance, you instantly notice the difference with the tunnels from the museum. The ground is muddy and slippery, and you have to carefully pay attention so you don’t end up on your ass.
“Somehow, you have to get down.” Ivan says, and we all let out a laugh.
Colby goes first. “It’s doable.” He says after he gets down. “I only caused like one avalanche.”
Once Nate had safely gotten down there, he extends a hand to you which you gratefully take.
A few meters further, Ivan stops and scans the area. “The entrance of the catacombs is blocked because of the flood. We’ll have to get in this way.” He says, gesturing to a tiny hole in the ceiling.
“We have to fit through that?” You ask perplexed.  You turn to look at Ivan, but he was already gone.
“Bro, our guide just disappeared.” Sam chuckles.
Once again, Colby decides to go first on this one. After a couple of moments of struggle, he had disappeared, and it almost looked like the ceiling had swallowed him. Sam is up next and then it’s your turn.
“Wish me luck.” You say and Nate kisses the top of your head gently. You hand him your go-pro and start climbing up.
“Did you hear that?” Colby asks as soon as you get your head up through the hole.
“What?” You frown, pushing yourself up as gracefully as you could.
“Dude, where did Ivan even go?” Sam wonders while looking around, the sound now completely forgotten.
You lend Nate who was right behind you a hand and pull him up.
“He went left, for sure.” Nate says, going in that direction. And sure enough, you suddenly bump back into Ivan, making your heart skip a beat.
“I checked and the lower levels are ruined from the flood. A lot of small tunnels, so probably not the best idea to go down there.” Your guide says and Sam’s eyes were already screaming ‘hell no’ at the small tunnels part.
“So, I propose we climb up.” Ivan continues, pointing a big gap in the wall about a meter and a half up. He shows us how to climb up and makes it look way easier than it would turn out to be.
“Why do I always wear skinny jeans when we do these types of things?” Colby sighs before holding onto the wall and climbing up. Nate is up next and this time it’s his turn to stretch out his hand for you.  Your foot suddenly slides off the wall and you feel Sam’s hands supporting your butt in order to not make you fall.
“Were you seriously groping my girlfriend’s ass, Golbach?” Nate asks once Sam gets up as well.
“Would you rather she broke her neck?” Sam says and Nate begins laughing. “Dude, I’m joking. Thank you so much for saving the life of my one true love.” He says dramatically, putting a hand over his heart.
Even though he had a playful tone, you couldn’t help but smile at his words.
---
You gather around the camera to start explaining the ghost stories of this place.
“It’s not just the biggest labyrinth in the world, on top of that, it’s also haunted.” Colby laughs.
“It is. There are a lot of ghost stories from here, one of them being Masha.” Sam says.
“Masha and her friends decided to explore the catacombs here late at night. They were drunk, it was New Year’s eve, and they were just some teenagers looking for some fun. They ended up spending the night here, and when they woke up, Masha wasn’t there anymore. Her friends tried to look for her but they never found her, and now she’s rumored to haunt these tunnels, still looking for a way out.” Colby says.
“Damn, that’s sad.” You say. Nate nods and continues the story.
“There were a lot of search parties sent out to look for her. A while later though, a group of young explores thought they had found her body and took pictures in front of it. A lot of people believed that this story was all a myth. So much even, that a journalist had to pressure the police to get the body out. From the looks of it, she had spent three days in pitch black and cold trying to find her way out before dying to dehydration.”
(A/N: I did some research on this story and there are a lot of different versions. Some of them say that Masha went in alone, others say that her friends went with her and ‘abandoned’ her in the tunnels. Some even say it never even happened. I just went with what I wrote here)
“Another entity that supposedly haunts this place is Bout.” You say. “He is said to protect any treasure from these tunnels. Bout was an officer from Odessa who was on board of the Titanic. They rescued him and he made like a small Titanic out of gold. He hid it in these catacombs and never came back for it.”
“For three generations though, people have come here to look for treasure. As the legend goes, if you took anything from here, Bout would cause amnesia and make whole tunnels collapse to make sure you never got out again. If you died here because of that, you would become the next Bout to protect the treasure here.” Sam says.
“There are actually a few versions of this legend. Another one is that it’s Brigantine, and not the Titanic. We’ll see some pictures of it later.” Ivan says from behind the camera.
“Obviously there are many ghost stories from this place, but I think the last one we should talk about is the White Hunter.” Sam says. “A long time ago, there were two guys down here and one of them got trapped. His friend ended up not helping him get out.”
“You guys better help me get out of here.” Colby says, looking at us.
“Yeah, 100% dude.”
“Oh hell no.” You say and Colby looks at you with a fake shocked face. “You put green hair dye in my shampoo. I’m still not over it.”
“For the record, that was three years ago, as a revenge prank. She had swapped my toothpaste with soy sauce.” He says while looking at the camera, and you grin at the memory.
“Anyway, this guy had so much anger at his friend that he came after anyone that was in here. If you didn’t, like, make the right offering, he could make you the next White Explorer.” Sam continues.
“Then, there’s another version of this story, that if you do make the right offering he would actually help you get out.” Colby says.
“Do we have anything to offer though?” You ask.
“We have Nate.” Sam deadpans and we all burst out laughing.
“Oh hell no, I don’t want his angry girlfriend putting ketchup in the coffee maker.” Colby says, looking at you with a scared expression.
----- Tiny time skip yall im sorry lol -----
“I can give you, like, a small task to test your orienteering skills if you want.” Ivan says, “if you go left on each crossroad, you should end up right here where we are now.”
“You’d be able to find us if we got lost though, right?” You ask, slightly nervous about going into the catacombs on your own.
“Yeah, I hope so.” Ivan says and everyone starts laughing uncomfortably.
“I’m going to need that hat of yours for this.” You say, taking Nate’s hat off of his head and putting it on your own.
“You look better with it anyway.” Nate flirts and Colby groans.
“Sam, why did we invite the lovebirds?” He says, seemingly annoyed, but you know he doesn’t mean any harm with it. While Colby was the one usually complaining about you and Nate being all cute together, he was also the one who rooted for the two of you the hardest when you weren’t dating yet.

“This is like, my worst nightmare.” Sam says and you immediately agree with him.
Nate places an arm around your waist and pulls you closer to him as you all start to walk into the dark tunnels.
“If we don’t find the way back, at least we’ll die together. That’s kind of romantic, right?” He says, probably attempting to comfort you a little.
“Dude,”, Colby says, “since when is dying together romantic?”
Nate rolls his eyes. “Have you ever heard of Romeo and Juliet?”
You take the first left turn before Sam replies. “Juliet was literally thirteen years old.”
“Guys!” you say loudly. “I don’t see any of you getting comforted by your significant other. Y’all are just jealous.”
Colby laughs. “Fair point.”
---
“Are we sure this is the right way?” Sam asks as Colby and Nate had already climbed through a hole in the wall.
You shrug, “It’s the only way to go left here.”
“Alright, so far we’ve taken two lefts and now we’re taking a right. So that means we should take two more lefts to make a square.” Sam says, slightly confused. “No wait, one more left.”
“So after three lefts, straight should come here.” Sam continues, pointing at a brick wall. “So if we take a right, we should take one more left.”
You laugh. “I didn’t understand anything of that and I’m pretty sure none of the viewers did too.”
“Wait, guys look.” Colby says, walking to a small hole in the wall.
“We’re not going down that, right?” You say as your eyes go wide.
“Yeah, no, Ivan said we’d come through that massive hole. If the massive hole is through the tiny hole, there’s no fucking way bro. I don’t want to go down that.” Sam says, and he looks just as scared as you.
“So we must have taken a wrong turn.” Colby says, thinking, and you nervously fumble with your hands. Nate notices and takes both of them in his own to calm you down.
“But we only took left?” Colby wonders, looking confused as shit.
“I guarantee you, the big hole is through the little hole, but I don’t want to go through the little hole.” Sam says, letting out a laugh.
Just as his sentence ends, you hear a bang down the small tunnel, making you jump. Nate lets go of your hands and hugs you from behind, leaning his head on your shoulder.
“Did you hear that?” Colby says with wide eyes.
“Yeah I heard that too.” Sam confirms.
“If this doesn’t work we’ll just go back the way we came, right?” You ask and you feel Nate nod against your shoulder before letting go of you to go first.
Nate attempts to shuffle through the small tunnel, and as he’s almost at the end, he quickly tries to get back as soon as possible.
“Did you hear that?” He asks, still halfway in the hole.
“Dude, that shook the ground. It sounded like giant rocks falling.”
“That means something collapsed, right?” Sam says.
“Ivan!” Nate yells through the tunnel.
“That’s got to be him, right?”
“Oh! Ivan, what’s up?” Nate says relieved as he pokes his head through the other side of the tunnel.
You let out a breath and Sam laughs. “Oh man, I was scared for a moment.”
Sam’s up next and after he tried to crouch through the whole thing, you start to go, but Colby holds you back.
“Wait, let’s mess with them for a bit.” He says and you grin at the idea. After dimming your flashlights, it didn’t take long for your friends to start calling out for you.
“Colby? Y/N?” You hear Sam’s voice. “Guys, are you coming?”
“Y/N? Please, this is not funny, okay?” Nate shouts and you almost feel bad for him.
“Nate really doesn’t give a shit about me.” Colby whispers, laughing,  and you snort before covering your mouth to stifle the sound.
“Should I go check?” Ivan says,  his voice muffled by the rock between you.
“Nah, we’re just messing with you.” Colby says, turning on the flashlight and you hear the others starting to laugh.
Once you got through, Nate places his hands on your hips and pouts. “Don’t do that to me, okay?”
You put your hands on his shoulders, looking into his adorable puppy eyes. “Aww, I’m sorry. A kiss to make it up?” You ask, eyeing his lips.
He grins and connects your lips, lightly squeezing your hips. Your hands make your way up to his hair and you forget where you are as that glorious tongue-
“They’re definitely dying here together.” Sam says and you notice his voice sounds a little too far away.
You pull away from Nate to see that the others had already started to move further down the catacombs.
“Forever lost in eternal love. It’s a good headline.” Colby snickers, looking at the two of you.
You shake your head at your friends before looking back at Nate who had the most adorable expression on his face.
“So it’s totally the hat, right?” You say, smirking. Nate usually wouldn’t let himself go this far when his friends where near.
“Yeah,”, he breathes, “it makes you look really fricking hot.”
--- time skip to the rituals lmao ---
“We are here, us four, all the way from the United States, to talk to any sort of spirit down here.” Sam says.
You were all set up, equipment scattered through the room and candles on the table in front of you. Not to mention the burning goat heads on the walls that made this place look even creepier.
“We don’t mean any harm or disrespect, we just want to hear your story.” You try.
“Woah, look!” Sam exclaims, pointing to the thermal camera that Nate is holding. “That just shut down!”
“And it has like no automatic shut down, right?” Colby asks.
“Yeah, after what happened at the conjuring house I checked, and it didn’t.”
“If anyone is down here, could you maybe try to communicate with us using one of these devices?” Nate asks. “You can come up to them and touch them, to let us know you’re here.”
After getting no response, you tried again with Ivan translating, but that didn’t seem to work either. You decided to move on after about thirty minutes, but then one of the candles from the goat heads fell down.
“Woah, holy fuck!” Sam shouts, walking over to where the candle fell. Just then, another one in the back of the room tumbled down.
“Look! That one as well!” You say, both scared and excited that something was finally happening.
“What?”
“Dude, two candles just went down, it was like the devil just winked at us.” Sam says.
Almost immediately after Sam said that, a cloak that hung on the wall fell down too, right next to Nate.
“Did you just hit that off?” Sam asks, pointing at the cloak.
“No, it just fell down right next to me!” Nate says with wide eyes.
“Nothing has ever happened before you, so maybe we should just go.” Ivan says from the side of the room, his eyes going between the cloak and the music box going off every now and then.
“Bro, it smell horrible in here.” Colby says.
“Honestly, let’s just get out of here.” You say, now definitely on edge.
“Yeah, if Ivan wants to get out, so do I.” Sam agrees, but another candle falls down.
As Sam and Colby are shouting about it, you grasp Nate’s hand and he squeezes back, just as scared as you are.
“Alright, I’m done.” Ivan says, and everyone agrees to get out of the tunnels.
After the fifteen-minute walk all the way back, you are finally able to breath in fresh air again. You close your eyes as the sun warms your skin, and Nate swears you had never looked more beautiful. The afternoon sun makes your hair look like it’s glowing and a peaceful expression on your face.
“Dude, you’re whipped.” Colby says with a smile, patting him on the shoulder before getting ready to film the outro to the video.
A smile forms on Nate’s face just by looking at you. “Yeah, I am.”

Protected From The Paranormal
Paring: Nate Hardy x Gn!Reader
Fandom: Sam & Colby
Request: No
Summary: Nate is a protective boyfriend and worries about the reader while at the Sallie House with Sam, Colby, and Seth.
Tumblr media
We're all upstairs in Sallie's room talking when you all hear a noise in the hallway making me jump. Even though he was startled Nate protectively wraps his arms around out and ask me "are you okay?". I rarely go to haunted places with the boys because Nate being the protective boyfriend he is wouldn't let me. I manage to convince him to let me go this time because I knew a lot about the Sallie House.
I nod and tell him I am as I move closer to his side feeling safe in his arms. I followed Colby, Seth, and Nate to the next room while Sam went downstairs. That was until Sam yelled for all of us to come downstairs. Sam was freaking out because the 8 ball that was in Sallie's room was now at the bottom of the stairs and none of us knew how it got there.
I found it a little funny that Nate was blaming Sam even though they have been friends since they were 14. Little did we know that it was actually Seth's fault. He accidentally kicked it when he jumped at a noise.
It was decided that the 8 ball would be used while someone was under(doing the Estes Method). Sam went first. While Seth and Colby were asking questions Nate was talking to me and checking up on me. "Are you sure you're okay? We can go outside if you need. I can take you home" I smiled finding it sweet how worried Nate was about me.
"Nate, love I'm positive I'm okay. Just a little startled. If anything changes I'll tell you immediately, okay?" Nate relaxed a little "okay I just want to make sure my baby is okay". me and Nate stop talking after that and focused on the investigation. After doing the Estes method for a bit we agreed on going downstairs to the dining room.
Apparently, Sam and Colby had something planned, it was probably going to be interesting, to say the least knowing them. Turns out they wanted to throw Sallie a birthday party and even got a cake. Nate immediately said no because they didn't know what this would cause and he was worried about how it would affect me. He'd already refused to let me go in the basement with Sam and Colby.
Eventually, Sam and Colby talked him into doing it and letting you do it. "I'm questioning my life choices. I'm about to throw a birthday party for a demon child" Seth said causing us all to laugh. Nate had me sit on his lap so he could protect me if needed. Truthfully I think he wanted some comfort.
While singing happy birthday, we hear a loud bang and all quickly run over to the stairs and see that once again the 8 ball is at the bottom but this time we knew none of us did it so the only thing that could have done it was a spirit. While Sam, Colby, and Seth were talking I ran out of the house genuinely scared. Nate immediately followed, wanting to know what was wrong and if I were okay.
Once Nate had caught up he immediately wrapped his arms around me protectively while rubbing my back. "Why did you run out? Are you okay?" He asked. I could hear the worry in his voice. "The 8 ball coming down the stairs scared me. I'm scared but I'm okay." He kissed the top of my head
"Let's head back to the house and finish up and we can go home okay?" I nod and walk back to find Sam, Colby, and Seth coming towards us asking if I'm okay which I tell them I am. They could tell differently by how protectively Nate was holding me but they didn't question it.
We agreed to pack up and leave. Nate stayed by my side and wouldn't let me out of his sight. I found it really comforting. Once we got home we went to our shared bedroom and cuddled. I was still startled by what happened but felt better and safe in Nate's arms and he could tell. "Thank you for protecting me" I told him. "You don't need to thank me love. I rather you be safe and okay than anything else".

Nate Hardy NSFW headcanon
Minors DNI
A/N: NSFW stuff, I'm so sorry if it took it this long, I wasn't really motivated to do anything and didn't wanted to give something not so good, I still don't like it that much, but it was the best I could do for now.
Tumblr media
- He's definitely a soft Dom BUT can be rough when he feels like it or after some heated argument.
- For make up sex, he's also rough and will mark you as much as he can.
- I feel like he would like to leave mark on you a lot, like he genuinely like to see you get all red and flustered when someone point out some hickey on your neck, he also likes to do it if he's feeling more jealous or more possessive.
- if you're feeling stressed for some reason, I feel like he would eat you out to help you get distracted and also to help you relax.
- talking about eat you out, Nate would do this for hours if you let him, I feel like he genuinely enjoys it and he also love to hear the sounds that you make.
- If you have been a bit bratty and having an attitude with him, specially in front of his friends one of your punishments when you guys get back home would be him overstimulating you but not letting you cum, UNLESS you've been his really good girl, he would allow you to cum, but other than that not being able to cum would be your main punishment I would say.
- If he went to some investigation with Sam and Colby, and the camera wasn't on your guys, or you guys were together but separated from the other two investigating, or even if the boys were just not really paying attention and distracted, Nate would definitely tease you somehow, by whispering dirty things to you, he would have his hand on your lower back and slowly get to your ass and squeeze it, depending on how he was feeling, I can see him slightly brushing his fingers or putting a little bit of pressure with his fingers, on your cunt from behind of course, so his friends wouldn't see what's is going and he would keep teasing throughout the night, to the point where you almost can't keep it together anymore.
- I'm not sure if he's not vocal, I'm gonna say he's a bit vocal and will whimper and will be whining here and there or even grunting a bit, but nothing too much and nothing too loud.
- When you don't act like a bratty, and you guys just have a sweet and loving sex he definitely praises you a lot, you're his sweet good girl that he's so proud of.
- On the other hand, when you guys have a more rough and angry sex, he won't praise you but I don't think he will degrade you either, he has other ways to punish you.
- Definitely would fuck your mouth for talking back to him, when he told you a few times to not do that.
- I feel like when he cum, his hips would stutter and sometimes he "accidentally" pulls out which makes a mess all over you.
- But that only happens sometimes, usually his pull out game isn't that strong, so he definitely cum inside of you. Nate have a secretly breeding kink he just didn't fully discovered that yet, go tell him 😘.
- The aftercare with Nate it's just heaven, he's just so sweet and caring with you, will be making sure more than only one time that you're okay and he didn't hurted you, will kiss the marks he left on you, clean you and prepare a bath for the both of you, will get you water with snacks and after the bath both of you will cuddle on bed.
- Loves every part of your body, but his favorite is your titties and your ass, but he will go more often for your titties, even in a not sexual way, he's the type to have his hands on your titties a lot or lay down his head on them while you play with his hair.
- In a sexual way, this man will play with your boobs for hours if let him, squeezing it, twisting your nipples, licking it, softly bitting it, kissing it and the list goes.
- Oh also... This man will definitely to grabby hands to you, everytime you don't have shirt on and and have your titties out for him. He definitely likes when you ride him so he has easy access to them.
- Love shower sex.
- But also not really in a sexual way, this man love to shower with you so he can get to wash your body, he loves taking care for you and love every inch of your body, so why not wash your body for you, right?

do you think you can write a seth borden relationship headcanos? like what is like to date him
thank you, hopefully you write more and also any reactions including the whole group (seth, sam, colby, josh)
Hello, Happy New Years to you as well! I am so sorry that it has taken me a few to answer this! I am a CNA (Certified Nurses Assistant) and my place of work wants me to work more hours. But anyways, let's go!
Dating Seth Borden Would Include:
Seth Borden x Reader
I feel like be would be really shy at first, given his family's history, not many people got too close
But you liked him
Like a lot
You guys met during the Bell Witch Cave video, Sam and Colby allowed you to come along with them because your Colby's little sister and you begged to come along
You may not be in the video but you did experience every thing with them
You went to the back of the cave with Josh and Seth and you felt the presence of the Bell Witch and froze
Seth didn't think anything of it and hugged you, you were in shock and began the blush really hard, he was really comforting
You guys came back and he was stuck by your side and you didn't complain, although Colby was a bit protective and did the typical older brother thing
After the video, Seth asked you on a date
Typical dates for you and Seth are picnics, going to candy stores, and going to the movies
It is cute and he is super clingy, staying by your side the entire time and holding your hand
Of course everyone is happy for you
When you told Colby you are dating Seth he had told him to be kind and not to hurt you, he was your first boyfriend so it would all be new (mostly because Colby never thought anyone was good enough)
Sam thought of you as a little sister as well but was beyond excited for you because he knew that Seth is a good person
Nate sees you as a best friend after growing up with you and Colby and he had a bit of a crush on you but he wasn't gonna let that stop you from being happy with Seth
Seth is just over all a good person and a great boyfriend
He is clingy, loves to randomly dance with you without music
He loves to take you on trips with him and have a good time exploring places with him and his group
Sorry if that wasn't exactly the ask but I hope you like it!

Okay, I am having trouble coming up with an imagine for Seth but I have one in mind for Nate. It has some smut in it but mostly in the song. When you read this you need to listen to the song to get what it’s about.
Sugar, I’m going down
Everyone in the world knew that you and Nate Hardy were dating and madly in love. You both were music artist so when it came time for Nate to release his next big song he knew it needed to be shocking, surprising and wanted to add a little spice too it and did he ever. He wanted it to be something outside of his comfort zone and he wanted his friends and his very smart, very kind, and extremely sexy girlfriend to be the first to hear it. " you guys, I have finished my new song its on my laptop and let's say it's going to shock you" he said to the group of people in front of him. Colby looked at him " don't keep us waiting" he said very happily. Nate smiled and looked at his beautiful girlfriend with A smile and said " honey, this is for you. You were the inspiration for this song " he smiled " awe honey I can't wait to hear it" she said. He hits play on his lap top. " intro is amazing dude " Seth exclaimed.
Coming fast and every time
I can't wait till she arrives
You could call me Harry styles
Taste that watermelon sugar high
She heard rumors I'm a pleaser
I heard rumors she's a screamer
I like my girl in my coffee
She a creamer
Your face got so red and you could see everyone looking at Nate surprised as hell.
She been hurt too much
Never felt enough
He ain't hit it right
Ima lay this pipe
Die for the taste of love
Crucify you with my tongue
Sad girl, don't frown
Sugar, I'm going down
" So what do you guys think so far?" he asked they all looked at each other " dude, this is not what I was expecting when you said it was inspired by y /n" Sam said looking at his friend." baby I love you, I truly do but why is it about our friends with benefits from 3 years ago? " she asked. " on baby there is more " he hit play.
She's my bad bitch
She's my sweetness
Want her all the time, yeah
She's my weakness
She fa- fa- ka crazy
And I'm out of my mind
you sat there with your cheeks turning blood red and people listening
Your ex - man sucks, don't get me started
Red flags up in his apartment
Raised that boy, he got no clue
He uses two- in - one shampoo
Legs are shaking when she quivers
Call me prime cause I deliver
I just live for her applause
Blow her back out I make her see god
I might be too quick
Got me in a grip
Calling off from work
Getting you off first
Good girl, don't you stop
Love, that dirty talk
Through your thighs, I graze
Let me, see that "o"face
She's my bad bitch
She's my sweetness
Want her all the time yeah
She's my weakness
She fa - fa - ka - crazy
And I'm out of my mind
She's out of her mind
Die, for the taste of love
Crucify you with my tongue
Sad girl, don't you frown
Sugar, I'm going down
She's my bad bitch
She's my sweetness
Want her all the time, yeah
She's my weakness
She fa- fa- ka crazy
And I'm out of my mind
As the song ended everyone had their mouths open looking at the singer. " so how did you like it baby? " he nervously asked you." you wrote a song about our sex life, added stuff when we were friends with benefits, then dissed my ex? I love it" you ran to him. " so is she really a screamer? " Seth asked his friend as his girlfriend hid behind him " yes she is. The walls are thin here " Colby said and every one laughed. Nate smiled knowing this song was about his woman and that she loved it. He also knew that you all would put this song on and have the best sex both of have had.
I'm sorry this is short. I hope you enjoy it.

Heartbeats; Paradise XVI
Title: Heartbeats; Paradise
Author: Jay Grayson
Word Count: 112K
Genres: Psychological thriller, drama, sci-fi, LGBT+
Available on: Kobo and my website
Synopsis: Melvin Hardy and Kade Axel appear to be a match made in heaven. After a meet-cute in the rain, the two quickly find themselves in a burgeoning, wholesome relationship.
Yet, things feel…off. It isn’t the ghosts of their pasts that resurface to test the strength of their partnership—no—it’s something nebulous. Something indescribable. Melvin can’t put his finger on it but, the more time he spends with Kade, the more he starts to wonder what’s real and what’s pure fiction.
XVI:
The white walls are smooth with incredibly light gray designs blinking into them—tracing lines into the sides and then disappearing into nothingness. It’s boring scenery but, for some reason, just taking it in fills me with dread. Looking at this woman before us only serves to exacerbate that feeling.
Kendra scowls as she says the name, “Anika.”
A flash of movement at my side causes me to look over. Oz is already reacting to it but he’s still too late. Starla is shoved to the side in the process and Nate watches with a similar confused expression as I imagine I have.
Kade brings his axe down on Anika, crying out in anger as he does so.
I flinch as I expect to be bathed in blood but that doesn’t happen. Anika’s body does explode—in a way—but she’s burst into a million pixels at the contact. Kade’s axe pierces the ground under her and he has to grunt and yank with quite a bit of might to pull it free.
Anika reappears a few feet away, perfectly untouched.
This doesn’t deter Kade, however.
I watch with a mixture of worry and exasperation. While I wouldn’t mind, in this one case, Anika getting an axe to the head, I don’t know if I’d actually want to see it happen. And now that she’s avoided one strike, I’m certain I won’t see it. Though Kade seems to believe if he just keeps trying, he’ll get her eventually.
He throws his axe toward her several more times—each ending the same way. Everyone starts to call out to him, to get him to stop, but he doesn’t listen. Even I shout his name.
His hair is in his face and he’s sweating and panting. His whole body heaves as he gears up for another attempt to axe her.
“Kade, she’s not real!” Kendra shouts, finally able to get more than a few words out. When he stops to look at her, she explains, “This is just Anika’s author portal. It’s the A.I. version of her that fans can interact with and ask questions to. She’s not the real Anika.”
He spits, “I still want her dead!”
“You can’t kill her,” Oz states the obvious, “Save your strength.”
Kade glares daggers at him but doesn’t move to attack any longer. He just tightens his grip on his axe and turns toward Anika with a glower.
Anika, in turn, clasps her hands in front of her and smiles politely. “Before you ask any questions, would you like to check the Frequently Asked Questions forum to see if your question has already been answered?”
We all look at each other. Sure she’s A.I. but she sounds more robotic than even the extras in our world did. I wonder if anything she says will be worthwhile at this point. Oz appears to be feeling similar to me but Kade is still pissed. Starla looks confused and Kendra…I can see the wheels turning in her head.
To my surprise, she’s not the one to speak up first. It’s actually Starla.
“What can you tell us about the diving program you used in your story? It’s what’s responsible for bringing us here, right?” She asks and steps closer to the woman. “Why did you use that? And were you aware of what it was doing?”
It’s a perfectly reasonable question and I’m impressed by how calm and collected Starla is while asking it.
Still, Anika cocks her head to the side and keeps the pleasant smile on her lips. “I’m sorry; I don’t know what you refer to. Please check my Frequently Asked Questions.”
“Cut the bullshit!” Kendra yells, forcing my attention back on her. She’s trembling—angrier than I’ve ever seen her—and she points a finger to Anika. “I saw that little checkmark next to your name! I know your author portal is your uploaded consciousness. Stop acting like basic ass A.I. and answer the fucking question.”
I want to ask about this “uploaded consciousness” but I don’t want to interrupt. I assume, based off of Kendra’s attitude and the words themselves that certain users of IVAR have an elevated status and are able to have their consciousness digitized in this format instead of leaving a generic program with their face slapped on for people to interact with “them” while they aren’t personally in the system. That brings a lot of other concerns to my attention such as the sentience of this consciousness and the kind of existence it’s forced to live but, again, I keep it to myself.
A colorful ray extends from Anika and scans over Kendra, beeping upon completion. “Ah, Kendra. I thought that might be you.”
“..Did she just scan you?” Oz asks.
“I don’t think she needed to,” Kendra answers, clenching her fists, “You had to have seen my work in your story. Who else could it have been?”
Anika’s brows dip down but her smile doesn’t disappear. “You failed in your mission. I still wrote the story I wanted to write and everything happened the way I wanted it to. Even when the characters rejected my input, I’d just write over their free will and publish my version. I’m the author. You cannot best me.”
“Oh, I’d love to talk with you about everything you did as the author but…” Kendra glances over to us and sighs, “That’s not what’s important here. Anika, you’ve been here overseeing everything so I know you have access to user logs and I know you have recordings of every interaction with the story. I need you to find where these people came from. Scan their User I.D.s so I can get them back home.”
She’s not mentioning the prevailing theory of our deaths, I notice. But, maybe she’s changed her mind on the matter or maybe she’s just being hopeful?
It has a ripple effect and I’m also feeling a glimmer of hope rise up in my gut. Could I still have a home to return to? Could Gavin and Cameron be waiting for me?
Anika takes a few steps forward, glancing between each of us with a smile that suggests she has some secret. “You mean you can’t tell, Kendra? You can’t read their User I.D.s?”
I look from her to Kendra. She’s pained but I can’t read much more from her expression.
“You should know,” Anika continues and reaches her hand out, close to Nate.
He stares at his creator blankly and, in a second, he’s gone. Warm, wet splatter lands on my face, across my glasses, before I even register what’s happened. No one’s screaming but Starla gasps in surprise as she, too, is covered in blood from the mini explosion.
All that’s left of Nate is on us and on the ground.
Is she going to do this to all of us?
“What have you—?” Kendra starts to ask but is promptly cut off.
Anika turns on her heel to face her. Unlike us, she’s free from Nate’s blood and that content smile of hers lingers. “You don’t actually care! You knew he was just A.I.”
“I wasn’t completely sure!” she yells back.
Anika shakes her head. “You really have gotten lazy haven’t you?” She tsks and then begins to pace. “You can’t even tell who’s a user and who’s A.I. anymore. Or, perhaps, my program is just that amazing?”
I can tell Kendra wants to take her head off but she lets out a long, controlled sigh instead. “I need you to scan these four and tell me what you find. The reason they’re here is because of your diving program that you didn’t properly delete so take a little responsibility.”
She rolls her eyes but throws her hand out toward us anyway. I instantly tense, expecting to be popped like Nate, but the same ray that was used to scan Kendra glides over me. Each of us has a turn and Anika’s expression doesn’t change the entire time.
Once she takes her hand back, she sets her eyes on Kendra. “Nothing.”
“Nothing?” Kendra repeats.
“What do you mean, ‘nothing’?” Oz demands.
“You don’t have User I.D.s,” Anika answers with a dramatized sigh, “That means you aren’t connected to an account which means you were disconnected at some point or you are dead. Though, disconnection for this long would kill you anyway so…either way, you’re all dead.”
“You have to know more than that!” Kendra shouts, throwing her arms out, “You have to have seen when these souls interacted with the story, right? There has to have been some disturbance to mark their arrival!”
“They probably hopped on IVAR, came to check out or pre-order my story, and got disconnected in the process. I can’t comb through the millions of viewers, Kendra.”
“You think…” Kade says slowly and I snap my head over to him, worried what he might do. I notice his knuckles turning white as he grips the handle of the axe tightly. “You think I was a viewer? You think I went out of my way to read your dogshit, boring ass, waste of time TRASH, you CUNT?!”
“I’ll have you kno—” Anika doesn’t finish as Kade’s axe swings through her again. I know it won’t do anything at this point but I’m honestly happy to see her get interrupted in such a way.
I’m sick of hearing her. I’m sick of seeing her too.
But, of course, she reforms every time she’s cut down. “You can’t kill me, you idiot!” she screams before she’s attacked again.
This time, she reappears farther away and Kade lets his arms rest, panting from overexertion again.
“You should be lucky to have ended up in my story, you know,” Anika remarks as she slowly returns.  “The amount of horrific shit on IVAR is staggering! You should be grateful to be dropped into something with VALUES and MORALITY!”
“Oh, you mean like your monster gangbang story?” Starla asks and puts her hands on her hips. “He should be lucky he wasn’t made to be the protagonist of that one, Anika?”
Her face reddens and she whips around to Kendra. “You bitch. You KNOW I’ve changed since then.”
“Yeah, and not really for the better.” Kendra crosses her arms. “You claim to be this progressive artist that tells stories for minorities but all you’ve done is reinforce negative and, frankly, harmful ideas. Sure, the main characters are gay but they have to be perfect and morally pure? The only people into kink are the pedophiles? There’s one Asian character and the only indicator that she’s Asian is that her last name is Cho?!”
“I also added a line about pronouns so the transgenders can’t get mad at me!” Anika responds as if she’s making a point. Really, she’s just helping Kendra with her list of grievances.
“Oh, how could I forget?” Kendra throws her hands up and scoffs. “And where are the black people, Anika? I didn’t even see a single extra who was black.”
“It’s set in a mostly white city,” she says and shrugs, “plus, every time I try to add a black character, you people get bent out of shape because I do something wrong. So I may as well not, you know?”
“Wow…how the fuck was I ever friends with you? Were you always like this deep down or did that backlash against Skylar’s story really change you this much?”
Anika’s face twists as she says, “Stop bringing that up! That was the old Anika. She’s dead! The people who confronted me back then were right and it took me an embarrassingly long time to realize it.” She laughs and the sound of it makes me feel like I should start running. “Our society is disgusting, Kendra, and we can’t let people publish their dirty perversions anywhere they want. What I’ve done is the ONLY way to write about love and sex! It’s black and white. Thinking otherwise can muddle the mind and we need to have clear moral guidelines in our art so that children can see what’s right and what’s wrong so they aren’t led astray like we were.”
“Moral guidelines?!” Kade responds, hoisting his axe into the air. Anika already starts to flee but he throws it this time, hitting her and scattering her data. “What the fuck is moral about making me sit on a dick against my will?!”
“Kade wasn’t supposed to be possessed by some dead psychopath like you!” she spits, “He was supposed to be an innocent, feminine boy who readers could see themselves in.”
“Young girls, you mean,” Starla hits the nail on the head.
While Kendra’s story of Anika had painted a pretty detailed picture, listening to her now has really filled in the gaps. I wish I had been pulled into any other story. Any other world. At least a different author might feel sympathy for our plight—show some form of remorse. But all she does is make it about herself. And her weird purity crusade.
“That’s the biggest demographic, sure. I don’t see what that has to do with anything,” Anika gripes.
“You got so brainwashed, Anika,” Kendra says with a dry laugh, “I almost feel bad for you.”
“Brainwashed? You’re the brainwashed one!”
Kendra shakes her head. “Art is expressive and, yeah, sometimes it carries with it a social, political, or moral message but that’s not the point of art. It’s to let out something that’s in you. It’s to express what you feel inside and show how you interact with the world around you. It’s personal and sometimes deeply private and that can make it dark and upsetting as well. That doesn’t mean it’s evil.”
“That shit is evil!” she retorts, “Those old stories we used to write were wicked! All we focused on was our erotic impulses and our low-vibration need to see others suffer! Only vermin enjoys that stuff! Real, good people want characters they can see themselves in and happy endings!”
“There’s room for both kinds of stories, Anika.”
I look between the two of them and, while I think Kendra, especially, has been holding all of this in for years, I can’t find it in myself to really care.
This is between them.
This is their history and their fight over their ideals.
This has nothing to do with me.
Before I know it, I’m clenching my jaw and a fire is flaring through my veins.
“Shut up!” I shout, getting many pairs of eyes on me. “I don’t give a damn! This has nothing to do with who’s right or wrong! I had a life…I…my name was Liam and I had a husband and a son! There’s probably no way I’ll get to see them again and I was forced to play house in this stupid fucking virtual world. I want out! That’s it! I don’t care about anything else!”
“I want out too,” Oz backs me up and places a hand on my back. “You two can continue this conversation later—without us.”
“Yeah, we already know we’re dead so what’s the point in sticking around?” Kade asks and Starla nods at his side.
“I’m sorry,” Kendra murmurs, “I lost sight of what’s important.”
“What’s it matter anyway?” Anika pipes up. “You just said it—you’re dead. Where can you go? What can you do?”
“Anything is better than staying here and listening to you,” I respond with a scowl.
She starts to argue but the room shakes and, like the sky in our world, the walls begin to break apart to reveal an abyss beyond. Anika’s form even starts to flicker—effected as well.
“The bombs!” Kendra gasps. “They’re still going off!”
We exchange glances before rushing toward the exit, not needing Kendra to lead the way this time. I can only hope that this void will actually lead us outside.
“Where are you going?!” I hear Anika scream but I don’t turn back to look.

movie night naps [ nate hardy ]
Tumblr media
SUMMARY — you two decide to have a movie night, until one of you falls asleep.
WARNINGS — all fluff, gn!reader
REQUESTED BY — @blackguardsgf
———
FOR ONCE, BOTH YOU AND NATE ARE HOME. with his traveling and your work schedule, the two of you never seemed to get time to yourselves. you needed to work, and he loved traveling. it was just you always missed each other. but tonight, tonight you were together.
you haven’t had a night in for a while, so, you two decided to have a chill movie night. nate made some kettle corn while you sat on the couch, trying to select what movie to watch.
“should we go thriller, action, or romance?” you asked, your eyes still glued to the tv.
“definitely not thriller,” he chuckled as he brought the popcorn bowl over and sat down next to you.
“oh come on,” you teased. you knew he’d been on a trip, and knowing sam and colby, they were doing something spooky. you scrolled through the action movies on netflix, landing on extraction with chris hemsworth starring in it.
“you just picked this movie because it has chris hemsworth in it,” nate teased, giving you a goody grin.
“uh, yeah,” you said as-a-matter-of-factly. you smiled and popped a couple pieces of popcorn into your mouth before turning your attention to the movie. you cuddled into nate’s side, curling your legs underneath you. your head was rested on his chest and his arm was wrapped around you; you hoped you wouldn’t fall asleep.
+++
nate looked over at you about an hour into the movie, having felt your body further relax into his. your eyes were closed, and soft snores escaped your lips. he smiled, pressing a soft kiss to your hairline. nate placed the popcorn bowl on the table, and slowly adjusted himself. he pushed his arms underneath your frame, carefully pulling close to him bridal style. he picked you up and carried you to the bedroom, laying you down carefully on the bed. in response to the bed underneath you, you curled up closer to the sheets.
“did i fall asleep?” you woke, your voice groggy.
“you did, sweets,” nate chuckled as he kissed your forehead, “go to sleep,”
“can you stay?” you asked, arching your head up to look at him. he softly smiled, pecking you on the lips before agreeing. he slid into the spot next to you, wrapping his arms around you. you exhaled, curling yourself up and closer to him. you instantly fell back asleep, asleep in your lover’s arms.
“sweet dreams y/n,”
———
this took me way too long and i apologize! i hope this is up to your expectations and thank you for requesting! i hope the rest of you enjoyed some nate content! have a happy new year!

Hiii could i request a nate hardy x reader for the video in the Yorktown Memorial hospital?? People have had like earrings ripped out and i was thinking maybe on the solo investigations the reader gets their earring ripped out and scream and nate freaks out?? srry if it’s too much details 😭😭
Hi sweetie! Thank you so much for your request, hope you enjoy how I've executed it ❤
Tumblr media
Hostile Presence
Pairing: Nate Hardy x Reader (Gender Neutral)
Warnings: Paranormal Investigations, Aggressive spirit activity, Minor blood warning, Swearing
Genre: Hurt/Comfort, PRF (Real Person Fic)
Summary: see request above
The light from the camera covers less than seven feet ahead, just enough to light the group so you are visible on video and nothing more. Everything around you is washed out in complete darkness. Your eyes are playing tricks on you each time you try looking past the circle of light and try to pinpoint where the random noises you're hearing are coming from.
Shadows are merging and forming rather terrifying shapes, footstep-like sounds are echoing off the walls and the five of you have to maintain some sense of calmness. Still, none of you can remain completely still when a particularly loud crash comes from behind you, causing all hands to lift off of the planchet as all five heads turn to seek out the source of the terrifying sound. What you all fail to see is the few millimeters the planchet moves without any sort of physical contact from any of you.
"Whaaat was that....?" Sam rarely lets the fear he feels bleed into his voice but it's clear he is pretty shaken up.
And so are you, past the point of being able to express it into words. You'd be completely freaked out had your boyfriend Nate not been there. His unoccupied hand has been comfortingly resting on the small of your back, letting you know that despite how charged things get, you're safe and have him by your side.
Suddenly, you hear what you can only describe as a heavy sigh directly in your left ear. Startled, you whirl around to look at Seth, hoping to God it was him you heard but your hopes are quickly nipped in the bud when you see he's taken a few steps into the darkness, shining his phone flashlight around the vicinity to see if there may be a bat flying around, making all these sounds.
Before you can raise your concerns regarding the strange noise seemingly only you heard, you feel a sharp sting in your ear, causing you to hiss through your teeth.
"Oh shit!" Just as you reach up to touch the aching spot you all collectively hear a clink of something small hitting the floor. Looking down to find the dropped item is futile considering you see nothing but darkness.
However, a quick touch to your earlobe and a flash from Seth's phone confirm that your earring has somehow unclipped itself and fallen from your ear.
"No fucking way!" Nate is the first to voice his confusion and shock as he bends down to retrieve the small earring and examine it between his fingers. "It's not even unclipped! What the fuck?!"
Pulling your hand back, you find a small droplet of blood on the tip of your finger, "Oh my fucking God...." You can't even find it in you to panic out loudly the way it sounds in your head. Instead, you're barely stringing words together, muttering them semi-cohesively.
Luckily, Nate is quick to pick up on what's put such a tremor in your voice. And hands, and entire body at this point. "Fuck....ok....Hey, hey, hey, let me see." He can see the pure panic that's hollowing out your gaze into a thousand yard stare. He's doing his best to keep you grounded and stable while he too is shaking. He moves your hair to the side to have a look at your ear, wiping the little blood that's left. "What just happened...?"
"Didn't he say people would have earrings ripped out on tours and stuff?" Colby asks, referring to their tour guide who is still hanging around outside the premises in case of emergencies, "This place is known for physically hostile activity." You try and focus on the rationality of his words and calmness of his tone but your heart is thumping too loud in your ears to be able to hear anything else.
It only slows down once you feel Nate's arms wrap around you, your cheek resting on his chest. You hear his own heartbeat racing, pounding against his ribcage but it is a calming sound you can focus on rather than your heavy breathing. Focusing on any of your overdrive-set bodily functions would be a recipe for disaster.
Instead, you find comfort in Nate's warm and safe embrace. You can barely make out the reassuring words he's whispering in your hair but just hearing his voice and knowing that he's got you no matter what, it's enough to slowly settle your heart into a somewhat normal rhythm.
"It's ok. You're ok, baby. I'm here." It may take a minute, but you will, indeed be ok eventually. Your three best friends and your boyfriend are here for you and although they can't physically do much to protect you, the emotional comfort is more than enough for you.
"I know, I know..." You mutter, your voice muffled by his shirt but he still manages to hear you, acknowledging your statement with a kiss to the crown of your head.
In a couple of days it'll be nothing but a cool story to look back on and tell people. In a week you'll once again visit another haunted place with Nate, Seth, Sam and Colby. In a year you'll have forgotten it. Or maybe not.
Then again, how many people can say they've had an earring ripped out by an angry spirit?

The Other Way Around - Colby Brock Imagine
Warning: ok so i obviously wrote this before Bower's Mansion, so please note that what i say and imagine here is strictly made up, it's not made entirely to match the video the boys ar uploading this Sunday.
Tumblr media
Pic not mine
Colby rolls his eyes as i step out of the car. I turn my head towards Sam and hug him tightly.
Sam, Colby and i have been friends since high school and the reason why we actually met was because, at that time, Nate and I had just started dating. Since the boys didn't really believe him, Nate started showing me off to his friends, to prove them i actually am real and not just a story. Things ended between us two years ago and because the relationship was pretty much long-termed, it provoked a lot of sudden changes. I stopped talking to the group, hanging out with them, Nate also backed away for a few weeks. I had Kat tho, thankfully. Sam and her started dating and we became really close friends and i could never let go of her, turned out she didn't want that either because she hung out with me almost every day. After a few months, Sam and Colby picked me up from my house to grab a bite at a taco bell restaurant close to my place. There, Nate was waiting for us to get there, but he was as surprised to see me as i was to see him. Turned out they did that because they wanted us in good terms from that point on and it worked. We all started hanging out together again, hung out at each others' houses, i would have movie nights with Colby when Sam would be out with Kat, even went exploring ghost places for their youtube channel. After some time tho, things between Colby and i became annoying. He wouldn't want to invite me to parties, but Sam would, so i would've come no matter what Colby really wanted. He stopped wishing me happy birthday, text, call or want any other movie nights. All of a sudden i was no longer a part of their videos, choice that I've hardly accepted, because a lot of their fans also enjoyed my presence. I've never got the chance to ask what's wrong, but he hasn't talked to me at all, just turned around or walked away, brushing my shoulder with his. It's been like this for a year now.
"It's so great to see you again, y/n!", Sam says and holds my wrists in his hands, checking me up and down, which made me laugh. "You didn't change at all"
"It's only been a year and something, i wouldn't have changed even if you saw me every day."
I hug Nate tight and longer than i hugged Sam, earning a few comments from him like get a room and oh you look so great together. I back away from Nate. "Nice moustache. Identity crisis again?" We both laugh and he answers with a yes.
"Let's go inside, we don't have the whole day.", Colby grabs his suitcase with the paranormal devices and walks in front of us.
"Don't we actually have the whole day? It's 10 am.", i ask confused and hurry to catch the boys
"Ignore him, i have no idea why he acts like that. ", Sam opens the door for me, as Nate was already hurrying to catch Colby from behind.
"It's something serious if even you don't know.", i accentuated "you" and he only raised his shoulders.
"I don't know what's wrong with him. I don't recall anything happening between the two of you. Or it did and none of you mentioned it?", he raises one eyebrow and licks his lips, intending to something else than just a fight. My eyes widen and i almost choke, trying to answer him.
"No no no, never. How could you think of something like that? Now shut up, they're coming.", i look towards the floor, feeling my cheeks all red. Sam didn't say something so outrageous that made me blush, but i got caught off guard, not realising this would ever be an option.
"What's up guys, it's Sam and Colby, back with another haunted videooo", Colby does the opening of the video and Nate and i smirk, holding back our laughs because it's funny seeing the guys in action.
"In today's video, we're exploring the haunted Bowers mansion. We have our best friend Nate with us today-"
"What's up guys", Nate waves at the camera
"And our beloved friend, y/n"
"Heeeey. Thank you for bringing me", i look towards Sam and Colby, Colby's eyes locked to the camera, shaking his head in a no motion, signaling he wasn't really into it.
"It's good having you back, are you excited?", Sam continues asking me, while intertwining his hands together. Colby glances towards us and for a split second, we lock eyes. He turns his head immediately and o just swallow hard. This night will be hard to get through.
"I'm mostly stressed because i want to rise up to the sam and colby level. I kinda forgot what it feels like, but you know me, i love a great challenge", i smile and look at the camera.
"Great, let's get started", Sam stops the recording and we start booking our rooms.
A few hours go by and Nate and i wait for the boys to stop filming the storytelling. It was nice talking to him and catching the last few months, it was nice hearing about how his new relationship came around. I realised while talking to him that i pretty much wasted my youth. He laughed at me, but he also knows that it's partially true.
"Have you talked to Colby about the trip?", he asks all of a sudden. I open my eyes wide at him.
"I'm sorry, what trip?", i ask confused and he looks at me even more confused.
"The trip to Bali that we talked about a few weeks ago? He said he was going to ask you specifically. Did he forget?"
"He purposely did, yeah.", i sigh
"What do you mean? He enjoyed the idea. My girlfriend is coming too, Kat also.", Nate keeps giving me insides about the decision of the trip, but i feel like he's joking. "Why would Colby want to announce you about a trip and never actually tell you?"
"Because he doesn't want me there.", as i realise, i see Colby exiting the bedroom he and Sam booked. "You asshole! I would've called you something else but your mom is really sweet and i love her!", i take a few steps to meet him in the middle.
"Good thing i stopped filming", Sam says shocked, looking at us. Colby's eyes widen at how i called him, anger filling his eyes. For a moment, i feel like i overreacted, but he's in no position to take decisions in my place.
"What did you call me?", Colby asks and i frown at him.
"Asshole, you're an asshole. Why don't you want me in Bali?", i ask, throwing my hands in the air. "What have i done to you? Why have you been avoiding me all this time?", i raise my voice, but swallow hard when i realise that. It's not a habit of mine to raise my voice at people.
"I forgot, that's all.", he wants to walk pass me, but i grab him by the bicep and stop him in his tracks. He turns his head, facing me. He looks deep into my eyes, lips parted in disbelief of what just happened and his look falls on my hand, which is squeezing his muscle.
"You didn't answer the rest of the questions." i point out, but he's gently getting out of my grip.
"Hey, man, don't be dick-ish. She was my girlfriend for a long time, don't forget that. At least treat her with some respect.", Nate points out and Colby's pupils almost disappear behind the blue irises.
"How could i forget?", Colby gives Nate a fake smile and turns to me. "I'm sorry i could no longer feel like being friends with you, ok? We weren't on the same path anymore.", he makes a fake reverence and walks away from the three of us. "Now, if you'll excuse, i need some fresh air. Feel free to join me.", he says to all of us, while closing the front door with a loud bang. We look at each other, all shocked about what just happened.
"Sallie's up his ass, not mine.", Sam tries to make us laugh, but we just smile at his intention. "It's gotta be the place giving him all these bad vibes, he wouldn't purposely talk to Nate like that, nor disrespect you, y/n", he tries to defend his friend and i get it, but it's not like he has to make up for his mistakes.
2 hours go by and we're investigating downstairs. We spent an hour or so in the guys' bedroom, talking through flashlights and rempod touches. It was quite an experience. A ghost also has a crush on me apparently, which made me feel a little bit more comfortable, even tho it is weird.
"We should do the Esthes Method now, don't you think?", Sam suggests and we all nod.
"I'm gonna go grab the spirit box and headphones.", i say and start moving towards tge staircase.
"Y/N, let me go. You've been up and down the stairs all night.", Colby offers and i show him the way with my arms, murmuring a be my guest and he takes off the stairs after giving me almost a smile.
The music box starts beeping right after Colby gets to the end of the stairs, but he doesn't hear it go off.
"It went after him", i say, goosebumps forming on my whole body. All of a sudden, loud steps are heard coming down and we all look up to see Colby, but we're met by nothing. "Oh my fucking God", i move myself from the staircase and bump into Sam as i try to get as far away as possible.
"Colby? Colby come downstairs now", Sam shouts at his best friend, who we see stepping hesitantly in ohr direction. His face is all white, obviously scared of what just happened. Colby's body is shaking uncontrollably and i grab Nate's arm out of fear. Instead of letting me hold him, he puts his arm around me to make me feel more protected. "What happened, why are you shaking?", Sam asks concerned
"i heard those footsteps right behind me when i got up. That was fine, it didn't bother me. I just saw a person walking into the room when i was just about to leave. When it saw me, it turned around and left down the stairs, when you heard them."
All of a sudden, Colby's eyes get on me. His shaking stops and his face expression becomes worried.
"Y/N, are you ok? Why are you crying?", he leaves Sam and approaches me fast. Until he mentiones it, i did not realise i was tearing up and shaking, feeling nauseous all of a sudden. "Hey, say something", he demands with a soft voice, holding me by my arms and rubbing them, studying every feature of my face.
"I'm so sorry, Colby. That should've been me", i take a deep shaky breath. "I wanted to go upstairs first, i should've gone. You wouldn't be this scared now if it wasn't for the change.", i brush away a tear and Colby pulls me in for a hug. Shocked, i don't wrap my arms around him for a few moments, but i feel his body shaking again, because of how terrified he is. I wrap my arms around his waist, my face buried in his chest, his bicep almost suffocating me.
"No, no, it's not your faul, y/n, it's ok. I want to see stuff in order to believe it, ok? It was a great piece of evidence.", i nod my head and he pats it with his left hand, while the other in is still wrapped around me.
"Let's take a break and go outside for a second", sam stops the camera and we all run out the door, going across the street where we saw a small park. We all sat down in silence for a few moments, until Colby started talking again about the incident. I got up and chose to sit on another bench, glad i couldn't hear much from there. A few minutes later, after being alone in my thoughts, i jump when i feel someone sit next to me. I look up and see Colby. The color in his cheeks came back and he looks more alive now than earlier.
"You ok?", he asks me and i almost make a sarcastic remark about how concerned he is about me after a year of ignoring the shit out of me. But i keep my mouth shut and hope the magic doesn't disappear in the morning.
"I'm fine.", i look straight, ignoring his presence. "How are you?"
"I'm fine", from my peripheral view i see he copied my position, staring straight at nothing. "Stop blaming yourself",he sighs and rubs his thighs, nervously. "It was fun", he smiles and turns his head to me
I scoff. "I bet". A moment of silence falls between us. "Why are you nice now? Did i earn your mercy when i started crying?", i cross my arms at my chest and look him dead in the eyes. His look became serious, yet hurt.
"it was your crying, yeah, but there was no mercy to earn or to give. I was concerned of what happened, i thought something happened to you too."
I shake my head.
"When i saw you so vulnerable to that place, i got scared, ok? Everything came back when i saw you like that", he continues, poker faced when he realised what he said.
"What everything?", i ask, turning my body to face him more, resting my arm on the back lf the bench. Colby copies my move.
"You asked me today two questions", he sighs deeply. If you did anything to me, why have i been avoiding you and why don't i want you in Bali. " he pauses for me to confirm that these were all the questions and i nod. "you never did anything to me, on purpose. I mean, you never said anything or did anything that would make me not want to see you again. The answer to this question is the same as the answer for the next one. I have been avoiding you because i thought this is the smartest thing i could do. Y/N... You know what, forget it", Colby gets up, but i grab his hand in mine. I blush at the sudden mistake of grabbing him like that, but he laughs and shakes his head.
"Please give me an explanation. Its the least i deserve from you. I won't bother you anymore." i plead and Colby's eyes spark with sadness. He sits back down and keeps holding my hand in his.
"Please bother me, every day, like you used to. Come to our place again, five times a day, cook for us and let's fall asleep in the theatre room like we used to."
"I'm so confused right now, Colby. I thought you didn't like all this, that's why gou you letf everything behind.", i frown at him
"i did that because i slowly started to feel things for you. There were no more friendly thoughts when thinking about you or you and me. I couldn't let myself fall in love with you. You dated my best friend and in the past year, it was brought up many times, counting today. I took it as a sign to back off, especially because i don't mess around with my friends' exes. But with you... It wouldn't have been messing around and i knew that. That's why i ignored you and it has been so hard not returning your calls or texts, or not having you at out place anymore. I couldn't do that to Nate. ", he breathes in and let's go of my hand
"You said I've done something to you but not purposely, what was that?", i ask, completely stunned by his honest confession.
"You came up to our table, holding his hand, being introduced as his", Colby gets up from the bench again, walking away, leaving me alone to process his words. That was high school, that was such long time ago.
I get up and head to the mansion, following the guys. When Sam and Nate get inside, i call out for Colby, who was far behind them. He turns around, eyes rolling and waiting for me in the middle of the street. I jump in his arms and he's quick to embrace me, tightening his arms around my body. I hold him tight as possible, one hand in his hair. We pull away and i kiss him hard on the lips, my hands around his neck. His hands find my waist and pull me closer and he licks my bottom lip for access, which i grant him in a heartbeat. I bite his lip, he bites mine and i slip my tongue in his mouth, the sudden control change taking him aback. He smiled into the kiss and gave me a few more pecks before breaking the position we were in, but he keeps holding my hands.
"As much as i loved it, i really wish there could be a chance for us, y /n...", Colby kisses the back of my hand, letting it go
"What if there is?", i hurry to ask
"Like what?"
I point towards the mansion and Colby turns around, seeing Nate in the doorframe, arms at his chest, watching us with a big smile.
"Bro, you could've just asked. You don't think i realised why you started dodging her?", he comes down and pats Colby on the back.
"I'm so sorry, man, i didn't mean it for it to happen.", Colby shakes his head
"Didn't you find it a little weird that i kept bringing her up? I knew you felt something, i just had to make you admit it. You're like stone", we all laugh and i hug Nate, who gets back into the house.
"So, you wasted a year of friendship for nothing.", i laugh and intertwine our fingers
"I wasted a year of having the best person in the entire world in my arms.", he kisses me hard, biting and pulling at my hair. Out of breath, i pull away and tell him we should get inside. He hardly agrees, but we start walking into the house.
"Movie's on me this weekend", he says while holding the door for me.
"You don't say"

Villisca Axe Murder House
❥ Back to the Control Center
❥ Nate Hardy Masterlist
━─━────༺✧༻────━─━
Nate Hardy x fem!medium(?) reader
Summary: You decide to test yourself with this investigation of the place of the gruesome octuple murders... you've yet to deside if that was a horrible idea yet.
Word Count: 5.2k
Warnings: gore, murder, child murder, hauntings, language, probably an inaccurate spirit box session, inconsistent capitalization, my usual grammar warning, and for this fic in particular, I recomend you watch the video before to brush up on your knowlege of what this video exactly was. I will be mentioning some of the research and background, but I will not be going into detail and will be skiping most of the info sections. This is because, due to the sensitivity of this particular haunting and the details surrounding it, it didn't feel right to add it here in this way.
Dialogue Key:

Sam
Colby

It was dark by the time the boys realized they hadn't made the intro to their video yet. So, even though it would have to go about 15 minutes into the video, they decided to record their usual greeting by the wooden sign for tonight's location.
"What's up guys, it's Sam and Colby"
"Tonight we are at one of the most, spooky, haunted houses in the United States, the Villisca Axe murder house"
Sam stepped behind the camera, showing the two guests fade in from the dark behind the sign, "Today we got Nate, Seth," he spins around to where you were, still messing with the car. Not too long ago, you all got pulled over for a light being out, just to find out the light was fine.
You stepped forward when you heard your blonde friend, waving both hands at the camera with a wide smile.
"and Y/N!"
You stepped further - abandoning the weird occurrence with the car, slightly irritated about the ticket you got for what seems to be, no reason - and join the group instead.
"Right now we start a night alone, in this house. We are about to tell you, guys, one of the most insane murder mysteries I've ever heard of."
━─━────༺✧༻────━─━
Usually, haunted places didn't have the best energy surrounding them, but that was hardly unusual. The difference between this house and the others was the sheer intensity of the feeling. When entering a location, you usually could tell it was haunted due to the emotions you picked up on.
First of all, there would be way too many, feeling as if you were in a crowded street rather than an empty house.
Secondly, no matter what feeling there was - of a spirit or a residual haunting - there was a layer of grief, sadness, or pain floating above it all. It was hard to explain, but it was almost as if no matter the emotion you picked up on, there was a layer over top of it, a veil of anguish covering all.
This house, felt as if you entered an ice bath.
It was intense and strong, the light feeling that you'd come to associate with the dead surging up through your veins in intense amounts. The coldness of the spiritual atmosphere so extreme, it caused a physical chill to rise through your bones. The change from so drastic, You almost stumbled walking through the door.
Nate noticed. he knew all your quirks by now, and the shiver that racked your body the moment you entered took him by surprise. The shock, quickly vanished when he realized that whatever the intensity he felt in the house, you felt a hundred times over.
He moved to stand behind you, slipping off his jacket and draping it over your form. He couldn't tell if you were cold, if it was the shift, or both, but he hoped that it would give you a sense of comfort no matter what.
You jumped a little when he did so, startled out of the light trance you fell in, trying to pinpoint exactly where in the house the feelings originated. You turned, smiling up at him as you pulled the jacket tighter around yourself.
Unlike the boys, this was your first time in the house. you'd opted out of the tours earlier that day, having a sudden urge to stay out of the home... only wanting to stay in there for as little as you had to.
You were able to brush it off easily, Sam and Colby were so interested in your "gifts" that they quickly agreed when you told them the reason you didn't want to go with them on the tour was so you could test your abilities later, seeing if you could figure it out with no prior knowledge.
Soon, all the boys had entered the room, including Colby who was currently operating the camera.
"So Y/N" Sam spoke, rubbing his hands together with a slight smile on his face, "What do ya' think so far?"
"Well," you sighed, bouncing slightly on the balls of your feet, using it as a way to release the feeling of the excess energies surrounding you, "It's a very strong feeling, not like anything I've ever felt before." your eyebrows crinkled slightly, trying to figure out the best way to explain it exactly. "You know when like, you have an overload of feelings? and you can't tell if you are angry or sad or upset?" the boys all nodded. "it's like that, but heavier and darker, it's almost suffocating if I'm honest." you laughed off the last bit, hoping to dispel the intense looks from the other boys.
"Yeah, that makes sense." Colby nodded, "The house is known to have a particularly dark feeling associated with it."
"Yeah, yeah, I could even feel it when we were just doing the tour earlier," Seth added.
Sam, meanwhile, just looked incredibly excited about the whole endeavor. As previously explained, he was probably the most interested in your abilities and was excited whenever something happened with them. "Well, in that case anywhere you think we should check out?"
You laughed softly, "Well, I don't really know anything about the layout of the home or which room is which," you trailed off walking across the room and toward a doorway, approaching the stairs, "but I'm thinking upstairs? I don't know, it seems to be stronger? I guess? the closer I get to them."
You were still facing the stairs, so you'd yet to see the wide-eyed looks from all the boys-- well, all save for Nate. He'd gotten used to it spending more time with you and knew how good you were at figuring things like this out. So, while all the boys looked surprised he just stood there, looking incredibly smug and proud.
"I don't know" you shrugged, always one to doubt things like this. After all, it could just be your nerves tainting whatever you thought you were sensing, "I could be wrong though."
"No, no you're right" Sam rushed excitedly, looking at the door, "The killer would've come in here" he walked over standing beside you, "and would've immediately gone up these steps."
━─━────༺✧༻────━─━
It was clear after a bit more information was revealed to you why Nate was acting so strange in this house, and it was all because of one particular suspect who was said to be around the house, Reverend Kelly.
Usually, while the boys were talking about the facts and explaining details to the viewers, you would be able to wander a little. You couldn't see or hear spirits speak like other mediums, but you were able to pick up on emotions.
So, you would take this little bit of time to follow these emotions around the house until you found the specific spot they came from. You'd also use your knowledge of such emotions and energies to help the boys with where to investigate first, and where to steer clear from. However, it didn't seem like you would be doing that tonight.
You tried to walk off almost immediately after you'd gained your bearings from the initial energy shift, trying to walk up the stairs as Sam continues to explain the story in the first room of the house. You were quickly stopped by Nate, who just shook his head as he pulled you closer to him, wrapping his arms around you from behind, chest pressed against your back as you both faced Sam.
You looked upward, eyebrows furrowed in confusion, "What are you doing?" you whispered, "I was just going to go check things out" You cut yourself off when you saw the grimace on his face, "Is something wrong?"
He would've explained it all to you then since you hadn't heard earlier, but he decided against it, knowing that they'd get to it when they were upstairs in the kid's room. The explanation there would be a million times better than whatever quick filler he could give to you then while Sam was explaining the main story of the home. So instead, he simply shook his head, "You'll hear about it later."
And hear about it later you did. When the group migrated upstairs, you understood perfectly.
It all made sense why Nate wanted to keep you in his sights at all times, why he always seemed to be hugging you from behind, or wrapping his arm around your shoulders.
The Reverend was far from holy and was one of the most corrupt ministers you'd ever had the displeasure of learning about. To sum it up, he had a love for women and a history of doing anything to quench his lust.
You, just so happened to be the only woman in the house.
If it was even possible, your stomach dropped further than it already was and you felt sicker than you already had.
━─━────༺✧༻────━─━
A few minutes later, the summary tour for the viewers was over and you all gathered in a room to begin the investigation, the EMF pump turned on and equipment ready to go.
The spirits seemed ready to communicate as well, seeing as things started going off before the camera was ever rolling. Namely, the toy you all found in the laundry basket and the cat ball placed in the closet.
"Can I request something insane for later?" you asked, watching as each piece of equipment by the closet seemed to go off, "Can we try the Estes method in the closet later tonight?"
Everyone turned, all the boys looking at you like you were crazy.
"Yeah... I don't know about that-" Colby spoke up, apprehension clear in his voice as Sam and Seth nodded along.
"We were just talking about how dangerous that closet has been" Nate chimed in cutting off the others.
"Well to be fair... that was because they admitted they were trying to provoke it" you shrugged, "who knows, we might get something good. especially since it seems to be pretty active in the past."
Nate looked wary, his lips pulled in a tight wince unsure of what to say, "I don't know..."
"I mean I'll do it" you spoke nonchalantly looking at the rest of the boys, "Just thought it may be a good idea."
Then the cat ball in the closet went off.
"Looks like they agree" Colby laughed unsure of the situation, and quite frankly a little freaked out. The cat balls usually didn't go off at all, but they seemed to be going off constantly here and they barely even started.
Then the REM pod in the doorway also started going off.
"It's pointing toward the ball" Colby shouted, quickly whipping the camera back and forth, showing the clear path the equipment was starting to make.
You were beginning to regret offering to sit in that closet, senses diluted, and in the dark for that Estes session later.
"Should we put it in the closet-" Sam began to ask, stopping himself short and looking back at all of you with wide eyes, "it just changed directions"
"Do you think it wants us to follow it?"
Sam moved to make a step toward the device and it immediately stopped.
"Dude it stopped as soon as you said it" Seth spoke, equal parts excitement and astonishment in his voice.
Nate just stood there, smiling in disbelief and rubbing his forehead with one arm as the other was wrapped tightly around your waist. his grip tightened slightly each time a piece of equipment went off.
"Oh my god! It wants us to go upstairs!" Sam yelled, realisation strung across his features, "Johnny literally said-"
"Right now?"
"Johny said that 90% of the activity happens upstairs."
"You said do you want us to follow it..."
"That's the only time it left the room," you spoke over the boys dragging Nate behind you as you approached the doorway, "it's telling us to follow it, so I think we should go while it wants to talk to us."
"If there's something here, we're goin"
"We're listening"
You led the group, Sam and Colby tailing the back.
You made your way up the stairs, no real destination in your mind other than 'up'. At the sight of a room not that far ahead, your first thought was to go there... until you felt something guiding you elsewhere.
You tilted your head, pivoting slightly away from that room and walking further down the hall. The air felt more electric here and it only seemed to get stronger the more you progressed down the hall. You recoiled at a sharp chill that went down your spine.
This room. This is the one to go to next.
You turned, facing Nate outside the room, cutting him off before he could ask the question you already knew he would ask, "I'm fine, just a weird feeling" you shrugged off, "Anyway, what's this room? Is it important?"
He was smirking when he realized where you'd lead them, "Are you sure you didn't do any research before?" He walked past you, entering the unfinished room, "Babe this is the attic"
He spoke with so much emphasis and with so little explanation you swore he was making fun of you. Like, 'Oh wow, of all the places in the haunted murder building you brought us to the attic, not you know, the place of the crime.'
Which you totally understood. You weren't quite sure why it felt so weird in the attic either. Maybe it was because it was an older house and falling through a modern home's attic was a legitimate possibility.
You crossed your arms over your chest in irritation, adding in a dramatic eye roll for effect as your boyfriend continued to hop around the unfurnished room. "Yeah, I see that Nate. The lack of real walls and crummy floors really sell that. Come on, let's just go to one of the rooms or something-"
"No, babe" he moved forward, grabbing your arm and pulling you into the attic space, "This is where they think the killer was hiding."
Colby entered the attic after the two of you, the rest of the group being slightly behind the two of you. The tree of you searching the space with the help of your phone's flashlights while Sam and Seth set up the equipment on the landing.
You had ventured to a further back part of the attic when Sam called from outside the door, the faint sound of the REM pod accompanied his words "Yo guys!"
Nate and Colby were closer to the door and entered the hall quicker than you could from the back.
Sam saw you coming toward the door to leave but motioned for you to wait a minute gesturing down at the music box, which was facing into the attic. You understood immediately, stepping to the side out of the range of the doorway.
You were still pretty far back in the attic and it would take you a second to reach the door. It needed to be tested now, and it would be much easier to test if a spirit was actually messing with the equipment if you didn't run the risk of accidentally setting it off or decalibrating the device as you exited the room.
As soon as the music box was turned on the music began to play alongside the REM pod.
"It's pointing to the attic!" Colby exclaimed, showing the bright green light facing the doorway through the camera.
"The theory he could've been in the attic" Seth rushed with wide eyes.
Nate looked toward the camera to elaborate, voice raised a little to make sure you could also hear the information from the other side of the wall, "So this is one of the areas the killer might have been hiding. It's either here or the barn."
"If the killer was in the attic can you make one of these devices stop?"
The two devices dwindled, both completely stopping after a few minutes.
You didn't hear any of the conversations, only being able to make out a few muffled words from where you stood to make sure you didn't accidentally trigger the device. The only thing you heard clearly was Nate explaining what he'd already told you.
But, at the same time that Sam had asked for the spirit to turn off the devices if he was in the attic, you started hearing a different form of communication. A steady series of knocks on the wood panel behind your head.
If you'd known any better, you would've realized the pattern in which the taps came. four, one, three, one. over and over.
Which, just so happened to be the series for the word 'here' in Morse code.
It was after you heard the faint noise of the equipment stop that you spoke up. "C-can I come out now?"
"Yeah, sorry about that Y/N"
Nate stuck his head in the doorway, sticking out his arm to help you out. It took him all of half a second to recognize the slight panic on your face and the white-knuckled grip you held on the sleeves of his jacket- which you still wore. "You alright?"
"Uh" you spoke louder so everyone could hear, "I don't really know what you guys were talking about, but there was some pretty constant- uh- knocking in there..."
"Oh my god- you're joking-"
"No shot"
"Are you serious"
You simply nodded, glancing between the four of them until Sam decided to fill you in, "Y/N... we just asked it if the killer was in the attic."
━─━────༺✧༻────━─━
For the next several minutes, you and the boys tried to come up with reasonable explanations for the equipment to be going off like it had been.
After confirming that there was no way to debunk it, the group concluded that the equipment was guiding you all on a tour, retracing the steps the killer made.
At least, until you made it to the kid's bedroom, where none of the equipment was going off at all.
Colby turned to the REM pod placed on one of the beds, "Do you want us to leave?"
and for the first time in that room, a piece of equipment went off.
Sam stood staring at the device, "And look where it's pointing"
"Outside."
None of you freaked out, all of you were shocked into silence. Five minutes of trying to communicate in this room, and it only went off when you mentioned leaving.
Sam moved to collect the equipment when Seth spoke up, "I really think we should do something in the attic"
You nodded, pointing at him, "Yeah, yeah I definitely agree"
"if the killer was waiting in the attic, he was waiting there for a long time. If this activity is residual, he's bound to still have an imprint in the attic. What if we can talk to him via a spirit box or something?"
"Yeah," Nate nodded along, "Plus that's the first place Y/N went to"
"It feels very static-y in there if that makes any sense" you added, "I don't know how to really explain it. I agree with Seth though, if we're going to get anything else tonight, I have a really good feeling it's going to be in the attic."
━─━────༺✧༻────━─━
Colby was the first to go under.
The minute he put the headphones on, a noise came from downstairs. One which sounded like the front door slowly swinging open.
Your head whipped up, wide eyes flicking between the others. You didn't have to ask, their own wide eyes answered just fine, but you couldn't stop the words from leaving your mouth, "Did you hear that..?"
Your boyfriend nodded, reaching to you next to him and grabbing one of your knees, which had begun to shake. "What is that?"
"Is someone here?"
"If you're here, can you make yourself known?"
Silence.
"We have the geophone-"
"Mystery"
"If anyone"
"Is here"
"Oh, it sounds like-" Sam tried to speak, constantly being cut off by Colby, speaking on behalf of the spirit box, "it sounds like two people talking to each other"
"Family"
"Yeah, it's sounding like a conversation"
"Me"
"Record that"
The four of you shot up at that.
"No way" you whispered
"We're not even asking any questions" Sam uttered in pure disbelief, "are we talking to anybody in specific?"
"Watching"
"Are you watching us?"
"One flight"
"One flight of stairs?"
"Now"
"Do you want us to go downstairs?"
"Fired"
[Cutting out this portion because... well... above disclaimer. If you watched the video you probably know what this is, it just feels wrong to add and makes me sick to think about.]
"End this"
"I don't know what you're talking about-"
"Is he with you?"
"Is who with me?"
"Me"
A door slammed downstairs, shocking you to the point that you would've fallen from your chair if Nate hadn't grabbed you.
Seth jumped as well, hitting Colby to get him out of the trance and fill him in on what was going on.
"What?" Colby repeated over and over, his friends were all freaking out, and he had no clue what was going on.
"The door slammed" you breathed out.
"What?" he exclaimed, looking between all of you, "What door?"
"I don't know" Sam panicked, "the one downstairs, It's on camera, I actually don't know."
"It could've been the front door?" you guessed
"No." Colby shot down, shaking his head, "Nah, I closed that one."
Sam and Nate went down to investigate and figure out what could've caused the slam, you, Seth, and Colby staying up in the attic.
[ Also cutting this, nothing special, just pretend reader was just sitting along for the ride when Seth and Colby heard the stuff on the stairs. We're cutting to when they all go downstairs to the last room and Colby goes back to the estes method. ]
You shivered, arms wrapping around yourself as you rock back and forth, "I don't like this room" you stated, "like I genuinely feel like I'm going to be sick in here-"
"That's about right"
"Sweet." you huffed, "Fucking love that."
"I think it was right here"
"No way!"
"What? You're kidding"
"Cold"
"You think what was right here?"
"Please"
"Explain what was right here"
"You walk away"
The second Colby finished the sentence, the REM pod began to go off, pointing out the door.
Your eyes widened, "Do you think the spirit was telling a different spirit to leave?" you looked quickly between the boys, "And thats why the REM pod is going off and pointing away, out the door?"
Seth nodded slowly, "Yeah... yeah that's definately a possibility."
"Who's talking to us right now?" Sam rushed, "Who are you? Can you give us a name? Anything a sign?"
"You said you think he was here, who is he?"
"That would be able to get away with it"
Colby yelled, that was one of the longest and most clear sentences any of you had ever gotten. Even crazier was how much sense it made for the conversation the rest of you were having.
"Who would be the guy that would be able to get away with it?" Sam pushed, stepping closer to Colby just to get cut off by said man.
"Lies"
"Screaming"
"Trust me"
"Give us a name-" Sam insisted.
"Please give us a name"
"-He said... who would be the person who could get away with it?"
"Remember"
"We're remembering" Seth added, voice calm as he could manage, "we remember you."
"Do we know this name?"
"Do we already know who you are?" you spoke up, "Are you telling us to remember because we already know?" you had a sneaking suspicion of what was coming through, and you really hoped it was wrong.
Otherwise, you're really beginning to regret volunteering to do the method in the closet.
"That's the reason why"
"What's the reason why? What was the reason for these murders?"
"Train"
"Were you on the train?"
"Implications of..."
"Implications of the train?" Sam spoke, eyebrows furrowed in confusion, in the end deciding just to ignore that for now. "Who are we speaking with?"
"yes please tell us who you are."
"You know"
"no, we don't" Sam insisted.
"I-" you began, only for Colby to interrupt.
"You know"
"I think..." you whispered, waiting for Colby to interrupt you again. when he didn't, you continued, "I think I know."
"Good job"
"Oh my god-"
"I think it's-"
"No, no"
"Mk" you spoke, fake cheeriness dripping from your tone to hide the discomfort flooding your body, "That's cool. I'm not gonna say it then."
"Paul Miller" Sam spoke, trying to solve it instead, "was he the murderer?"
"Impossible"
"Was it the Reverend George Kelly or was it something-"
"Kill me"
"He was going"
"How would you feel if we took off the cover to the mirror?"
"This one?"
"Yes this mirror"
"We can"
Sam stepped forward, a hand on the sheet to pull it off, "Ok were going to."
"Run"
"I had to run"
"You had to leave the scene of the crime?"
"No choice"
"It was worth it"
"That gave me chills" you spoke, shock rendering you almost breathless at this point
"What was worth it? The murders?
"Who are you?"
"You know"
The session started to run on the lengthy side, so to be safe, you pulled Colby out to converse.
"Did any of that make sense?"
"Yes, you kept saying 'you know him' and you kept saying stuff about railroads and trains."
"Speaking of 'you know him'" Seth began, turning to face you, "what were you thinking?"
"Oh right!" Sam exclaimed, "You said you had an idea of who it was but Colby kept cutting you off" he reiterated for the viewers as well as the man who hadn't been able to experience half of the conversation.
You looked up between all of them from where you sat on the bed, shrinking in on yourself a little, "I just-" you stuttered, "I just have a really good feeling it's Kelly."
"That would make sense why he kept saying no" Nate spoke, "he was a reverend and was probably ashamed of his sins for doing it. Yeah, he was cryptic as hell when he left and ended up confessing to it all, but he was still a preacher... maybe that's why he was saying 'you know' but never actually wanting you to say it out loud."
━─━────༺✧༻────━─━
Next, was the part that you had slowly begun to get less and less excited for as the night went on. Now it was your turn to do the Estes method, sitting criss-cross on the floor of the closet.
"This is your last chance-"
"Put out the lamp"
"Do you want us to turn out the light?"
"He's here"
"Who's here?"
Nate thought back, remembering all the times you'd offhand mentioned something to him though the night, and that was that you thought it was playing tricks on you all. It enjoyed how your group would follow it aimlessly through the home and freak out when it set things off, you felt like it was watching you, messing with you, and playing sick a game of tag with you all. So, he decided to ask the question you'd been secretly asking all night long.
"Are you messing with us?"
"Thanks for being here"
"It's fucking with us."
"All over"
"All over the house?"
"Mhm"
Sam jumped, "The cat ball!" he yelled pointing to the closet, "The catball behind her just went off"
You're head popped up and you shook your head a bit, "That wasn't funny at all." you rushed, the boys all began freaking out, thinking the box was saying that when you spoke again "This isn't the box by the way- but I swear to god Nate if you pull my hair again while I'm doing this shit, I'm breaking up with you."
The boys really began freaking out then. All were at least 3 feet from you at the time.
"You'll see why I'm so excited"
"Oh my god" Sam yelled, "It never says full sentences like that-"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah! And to have so many all in the same night?"
You pulled the jacket tighter around yourself, "It's so fucking cold" you muttered.
"Wait-" Nate gasped, "there was something-" he turned to the closet, "are you behind her?"
"Behind"
"Did you commit these murders because you were a pervert?"
you ground your teeth, "Nate I swear to fucking god" you hissed, "don't pull my hair-" your back quickly straightened, hearing more words flood through the speakers.
"You said this already"
You spoke in a sing-song voice, doing your best to imitate the intonation of the voice you heard through the headphones
"At the beginning"
"The who are you" Sam insisted once more, starting to get irritated by the sheer number of times he'd asked the same question.
"You know"
"I am"
"I'm the Reverend"
Nate dove forward, looking back to the rest of the group now that he was inches in front of you ready to rip the headphones from your head.
"Are we done?" he rushed, eyes wide in urgency, "Can we be done? Can I pull her out? I do not want her sitting in the closet with him behind her- especially when it's pulling her hair and stuff-"
The boys all began nodding, Colby the first to speak, "Yeah, yeah dude, get her out of there like now."
That's all your boyfriend needed to lean forward and take the device off your head, pulling your body from the floor and as far from the closet as he could manage.
You glared at him as he did so, slapping his shoulder once "That wasn't funny. Don't fucking do that-"
"Babe" he grabbed your shoulders, looking you straight in the eyes, "I didn't touch you. I swear."
"Yeah" Sam spoke up behind the two of you, "We were all like, several feet from you."
"Yeah Y/N, no one touched you" Colby gestured to the camera, "We can show you the footage if you'd like."
You were freaked out before, but with that information as well as everything they filled you in on, you were ready to leave. You didn't care about finishing the investigation and you didn't care about any more information they could possibly gain by going any further.
The boys, for the sake of closure and for the sake of answers for the viewers, wanted to continue. You respected it, but you couldn't force yourself to do it anymore and to be completely honest, you were terrified.
Doing investigations with your friends was fun, but this was one you couldn't finish. Not when you felt this sick to your stomach. Not when you potentially had a creepy pervy Reverend standing behind you in a closet pulling your hair. Not when you felt as targeted as you did. Not when you could tell whatever the spirit was, was having fun running all of you in circles.
So instead, while the boys tried the Estes session one last time in the master bedroom, you had taken the keys to Nate's car and was driving back to the hotel. You'd brought some sage on the trip- not too sure how to use it, but you had a feeling it may be necessary for this little road trip of investigation videos.
You don't know why you hadn't brought it with you earlier, but you felt like leaving to get it was more than worth it in this scenario.
You began by smudging yourself, then the hotel room just in case you brought anything with you. Then, you walked to the parking lot, smudging Nate's car as well. The people who saw you probably thought you were insane, but you couldn't care less at the moment.
Better safe than sorry.
When you deemed everything properly smudged, you plopped back into the driver's seat, sage bundle in the cupholder, on the way back to the Villisca House to do the same to the boys.

Fanfic Ideas I Probably Will Never Write (1/?)
SUMMARY: You are recently hired as Sam Golbach's personal assistant, but little do you know about the world you are entering. The infamous YouTuber is leader of a notorious gang in L.A., with his best friend Colby Brock. As your mind slips further into the darkness, so does your body till Sam has you all wrapped up in his favorite ropes.
Rated Mature-- (explicit sexual content [praise kink, BDSM], sexualized shibari, gang activity, violence)
The rope burned as the blonde tightened the complex knot he currently had his attention on at the base of your spine. As he loosened his hold on the rope, a single finger slid up the line paralleling your spine, and a shiver ran through your body. You exhaled, clenching your thighs together, but then whimpering as you feel two well placed ropes pinch lightly at your clit hidden under your panties.
“Good girl,” his voice is rough and low, sending all the right feelings into your stomach.
You hum lightly, a soft smile on your face, but you can barely speak with the gag in your mouth.
A knock suddenly interrupted your high and you saw Sam step in front of your body to pick up his fallen leather jacket to place over top of your body dangling in the air. The warmth of his body was still in the jacket and you shivered at the sudden warmth against your cool body.
Out of the corner of your eye, you saw the door to the room open slowly and a familiar brunette peak his head through. His stormy blue eyes were low beneath his fallen hair as he walked into the room, dominance and confidence leaking out of him, but you didn’t find it as arousing as the blonde’s own.
“What’s up, Colby?” the blonde spoke, keeping you covered with his body.
You squirmed slightly as the ropes began to pinch at your skin as you waited patiently. The movement caused your body to turn and from the side of the blonde’s body came two beautiful legs tied up in slim, red rope.
Colby’s eyes immediately went to your legs before swallowing and turned his attention back to his best friend, a smirk falling onto his face, “Having fun with Y/N, Sammy?”
He knew exactly what to say to push Sam’s possessive buttons and you knew he did it on purpose. You made a note in your head to scold him later. The blonde flexed his fingers around the ropes against your body behind his own.
“Why are you here?” Sam mumbled, his voice betraying his evident arousal and displeasure at being interrupted.
That smirk was still on Colby’s face, “Sorry to interrupt you both, but we have a situation. Nate didn’t come back with the full load from Santa Cruz this afternoon.”
“Shit,” Sam cursed and exhaled, the arousal disappearing completely at this news, “Let me finish with Y/N and I’ll join you down in the garage,” Colby nodded, giving another glance to the legs peaking out from behind Sam’s body and rolling his eyes, as he left the room.
The moment the door clicked shut, Sam turned his attention back to you, falling down to his knees in front of you. He raised his hands to the gag in your mouth, pulling it away from your lips to droop around your neck. His hand trailed over your hair softly before coming to rest down on your throat. You licked your lips to wet them as you stare up at him, neck strained, to meet his eyes.
He smiled, giving your throat a gentle squeeze, enjoying the moan tickling the palm of his hand, “Hate to leave in the middle like this, princess, but as soon as I take care of this run, I’m all yours again,” and he pressed his lips to yours.

Never Have I Ever Had A Threesome - Colby Brock x Reader x Nate (smut) [PART 3/3]
“Hey, Sam!” Colby called out into Sam’s apartment.
“Up here!” Sam answered from the loft. “Can you grab my drink off of the counter before you come up?”
“I got you, brother.” Colby grabbed the drink, grabbed a can of soda for himself, and climbed the stairs. “Ooo, did we pick dates yet?” Colby asked, seeing Sam on the AirBnB website.
They were planning their annual Kansas boys vacation to Hawaii and a lot had changed in the last year. Alex had gotten quite serious with his girlfriend. Sam was thinking about asking Kat to move in with him when the boys got a new house. Colby and you had been officially dating for almost 6 months. Even Nate had been “with” a girl for almost the last year.
“That’s the thing” Sam said. “There are loads of open dates for the trip, but they’re all sooner than we thought they’d be. The best deals and weather all seem to be in just a few months.”
“So? That’s fine, dude.” Colby shrugged it off.
“I’ll text Alex and Nate.” Sam said, grabbing his phone.
“Wait.” Colby stopped him, putting his hand over Sam’s iphone that was sitting on his desk. “I have a question. It’s totally okay to say no, but I wanted to get your thoughts.”
“Okaaaayyyyy.” Sam drawled out, wondering what Colby was all jittery about.
“Hear me out. Kat has never gone on a vacation with you unless you count being dragged to wedding events and no one counts that…This is the first year we’re all with someone.” Colby explained. “Am I breaking the rules by asking if we want to bring the girls?”
Sam looked like he was considering it. “I mean, as long as we still spend part of it hanging out with just the guys, I think it would be great.”
“Of course, of course. Y/n and Kat are practically joined at the hip now-a-days. Alex’s girl is super chill and I’m sure Nate wouldn’t date someone crazy. The girls can spend a few days together while we go do dumb Kansas boys shit on our own.” Colby said, relieved Sam didn’t shut his idea down straight away.
“Why don’t we bring it up to the guys and see what they say?” Sam looked up at Colby and shrugged.
Nate and Alex seemed happy with the idea. A date was picked. The tickets were booked. A huge AirBnB was rented. Sam kept talking about how this trip felt more ‘grown up’. Like a family vacation.
“Wake up, baby” you gently shook Colby. You knew this was going to be a long day because the two of you had gone to bed exactly….2 hours ago. “Colby” you laughed, climbing on top of him and pressing kiss after kiss to his face. Even though his body stayed unmoving, you could see him trying to hide a smile. “I know you’re awake, you brat.” You went to climb off of him.
His strong arms pinned you against his body as he opened one eye to stare up at you. “I think I might need a little more waking up.”
“You’re such a dork” you laughed, connecting your lips in a more passionate kiss. “Come on. We need to get our shit to Sam’s so we can order an Uber.”
“I’m so stoked to see Nate” Colby said from the closet. “We haven’t seen him since you moved out here.” He was looking for something that would be comfortable to travel in, but you had already stolen his favorite hoodie.
“So am I!” you agreed, moving to pick something else for Colby to wear. “I haven’t seen him in well over a year, actually. Wear this one.” You said, throwing him a hoodie you thought he looked hotter than usual in.
“You really like this one, don’t you?” He teased, pulling on a cut-up tank top and then the hoodie.
“I mean, I’d prefer you to just walk around naked all the time” you smirked, slipping your fingers under the hem of his tank top. “But this is a close second place.”
“And I thought I was going to be the one that made us late.” He leaned down to kiss you.
Before your lips connected, Sam barged into the apartment. “If you guys aren’t out here in 5 minutes, we’re coming in with the squirt guns” he said before slamming the door.
You both laughed, double checking that your carryon bags had chargers, headphones, a book, etc. The usual ‘I don’t want to die of boredom on this long ass flight’ stuff. When you landed in Hawaii, the four of you took a cab to the AirBnB and started claiming rooms.
“When do Nate and Alex get here?” you yelled down the stairs having claimed the room furthest away from the other bedrooms. It wasn’t the biggest, but this meant you didn’t have to worry about being too loud. Sam and Kat constantly teased you about keeping them awake even though you knew they couldn’t hear you through the apartment walls.
“I don’t know where Alex is, but I’m right here, beautiful.” Nate yelled back, dropping his bags in the living room.
You squealed the whole way down the stairs, tackling Nate in a hug that almost knocked him over. “It’s been too fucking long, Hardy.”
“Tell me about it” he said, spinning you around once.
The two of you let go of each other, Colby and Sam both pulling Nate into hugs. “Where’s your girl?” Colby asked, looking towards the front door.
Nate had his ‘Everything is chill’ smile plastered on his face, “We’ll talk about that later.” He slapped Colby on the back, pulling him into another hug. “In more important news, you owe Sam, Alex and I a hundred bucks each.”
“OH YEAH!” Sam practically yelled.
“What?” you laughed, leaning into Colby’s side. Colby had a confused look on his face.
“Summer before senior year. The warehouse.” Nate said with a smug look on his face.
Sam continued the story. “We were laying on the roof having one of our ‘life is short’ talks and Nate looked over at Colby and said...”
“If it’s so short, then why are you afraid to live it?” Nate interrupted him, smiling over at you. “I teased him about walking you home every day and not letting you come to the warehouse because ‘it’s too dangerous’. I asked him why he didn’t just ask you out.”
Colby’s hands were over his blushing cheeks. “Dude, I haven’t thought about that night in a long time, man.”
“Awwww, your face is so red, babe.” You laughed, wrapping your arms around him.
“Colby denied liking you ‘like that’” Sam laughed, doing air quotes. “Alex chimed in and bet him a hundred bucks that you two would eventually end up together.”
“We all took the bet against him…and by the looks of it, that makes one Colby Brock 300 dollars less rich.” Nate laughed, looking around the house you guys were staying in.
“I’ll pay up” Colby laughed, headed up the stairs. “Nate, there’s another room up here.”
Nate settled into a small room, closest to yours. Alex and his girlfriend showed up and took the second bedroom downstairs next to Sam and Kat’s. You guys napped and ordered food.
“I don’t know about you guys, but I’m dying to go to the beach.” Nate said, looking out the window. “I always forget how beautiful this place is.”
The 7 of you packed your beach bags, threw on your suits, and walked towards the beautiful blue horizon. “You ready to talk about it yet?” you asked, you and Nate were currently sat in the sand near Alex and his girlfriend, watching Sam, Kat, and Colby attempt to fly a kite.
“She just wasn’t the one.” He said, looking over at you with no sign of sadness on his features.
“It took you a year to figure that out?” you teased him.
“No. We’ve always known. I just…” Nate took a deep breath, looking around at your little makeshift family. “This? This is special. I didn’t want to invite her in.” He shrugged his shoulders.
“Naaate, then why didn’t you tell Sam and Colby right away? You guys could have had your normal Kansas shenanigans trip!” you scolded him.
“Y/n.” Nate grabbed your hand. “I wanted this. I missed you. And I never get to see the other girls, either. We aren’t just a rowdy bunch of boys anymore. We’ve expanded.”
“Always the sentimental one.” You squeezed his hand and smiled over at him.
“Before you know it, we’ll be bringing kids on these trips.” He laughed.
“Dude, Alex is first. Sam and Kat have sworn off kids for like 8 more years.” You chuckled.
“And what about you and the blue-eyed genetic lottery winner over there?” he teased. “That kid was made to be a dad and you know it.”
“I assume it’ll happen like everything else in our lives.” You watched Colby finally get the damn kite off the ground and proudly yell your name to look at it flying through the air. “It’ll happen when we least expect it and it’ll be amazing.”
“Good job, baby!” Nate yelled at Colby.
Colby threw his head back laughing and the kite smashed into the sand. “You distracted me!” he yelled, handing the spool to Kat so he could try to get the kite back up in the air.
“You know, Colby’s been eyeballing your new tattoo.” You looked over at Nate with a smirk. “I think he may want to see it up close later.”
“Is that so?” he laughed. “I didn’t know if you two had changed your ways with your official titles and all.”
“I think we’ll always have room for you.” You stood, pulling Nate with you to join the others closer to the water.
When your group got home, most people just headed to their rooms. Between traveling and running around on the beach, everyone was pretty tired. “Did you see the bathtub?” you asked, popping your head back into your bedroom. “This thing is huge. It looks like a jacuzzi!”
“Oooo that actually sounds like heaven right now.” Colby said, finding hangers to let your beach clothes dry on.
“I’m gonna run a hot bath. I’ll come get you when it’s ready.” You stripped out of your suit and handed it to Colby.
“Hey Nate!” Colby called, walking down the hall towards the smaller bedroom. Seeing the door opened, he walked in. “Do you want me to hang up your trunks? We’re putting our stuff on the balcony to dry. Nate?”
“Out here.” Nate called back, an open window leading to a little section of the roof.
“You would already be sat on the roof.” Colby laughed, joining him.
“Just been in a thinkin’ mood” Nate smiled over at him.
“Nate, when are you not in a thinking mood?” Colby teased.
“Different kind of thinkin’ this time” he answered, staring out at the ocean. He could barely make out the horizon between the dark water and the dark sky.
“Good or bad?” Colby asked.
“Always good, brother.” Nate answered, the two of them spending a few moments in silence just enjoying cool night air. “If I were to ask you when you thought you were going to have kids, what would you say? Just a hypothetical. Entertain me.”
Colby sat, staring out at the blue abyss. “Honestly? Whenever it happens.” He shrugged. “I’ve got a great job, I’m lucky enough to have some great friends, and I’ve got the most amazing girl in the whole world. There’s no point in planning when anytime is an okay time.”
“Solid answer.” Nate nodded his head. “Y/n said something similar.”
“Yeah?” Colby asked.
“Something about it happening like everything else that has happened between the two of you. When you least expect it, but amazing anyways.”
“I told you.” Colby replied. “Most amazing girl in the world.”
“I’m so fucking happy for you two, dude.” Nate smiled over at Colby.
“Thanks, man.” Colby ducked his head, grinning ear to ear. “How about you spend a little time being happy with us instead of for us, though.” He stood, reaching his hand out to pull Nate up with him.
“You know I can’t say no to that.” Nate laughed, following Colby back into the house.
“There you are!” you said, seeing Colby and Nate walk into your bedroom’s bathroom. “I went to tell Colby the bath was ready and I couldn’t find either of you.”
“I’ll give you one guess where I found Nate.” Colby laughed, stripping out of his swim trunks and taking Nate’s to hang them on the balcony.
“Roof?” you looked over at Nate, guessing.
“Bingo.” He laughed.
Colby snuck down the hall to turn off Nate’s light and close his door so no one would wonder where he was. He locked your bedroom door and joined you back in the bathroom. “Now THIS is a sight I’ve missed.” He smirked down at you and Nate both in the Jacuzzi tub, water up to your necks.
“While I don’t mind the view, I think you should join us.” Nate teased.
Colby stepped into the water, the jacuzzi tub having plenty of room for the three of you. “Fuuuuck, this feels good.” He said, letting the hot water envelop him.
“Come here.” Nate said, pulling Colby’s back towards him so he could massage his muscles.
“Oh my god, I forgot you had magic hands.” Colby melted under Nate’s touch.
“I didn’t.” you smirked, watching the look of pure bliss on your boyfriend’s face.
“What are you thinking about?” Nate asked you, your eyes not having left Colby’s face.
“Just admiring the…I guess I’d use the word ‘power’ you have over this one.” You said, moving to take Colby’s face in your hands.
“Explain.” Nate said, continuing to massage Colby’s back. You could see Colby’s face turn slightly pink.
“My possessive boy here always has to be in charge.” You leaned forward and kissed him. “When we were with Jake, Colby would slowly tease him, drag things out, boss us both around. He likes being responsible for making us feel good.”
Nate nodded, his hands moving to wrap around Colby’s waist. “Ahhh, I see.”
“But for some reason, he’s always been putty in your hands.” You said, Colby’s hands finding your body under the water and pulling you to him.
He captured your lips in another kiss. “Sometimes it scares me that you know me so well.” He smiled against your lips. “You’re letting out all my secrets.”
“I’m sorry, but it’s a pretty sexy secret.” You pulled away from Colby to hit the button to drain the jacuzzi tub.
Nate’s hands slid lower against Colby’s abdomen, fingers teasing him. “I really fucking missed you two.” He said, kissing up the side of Colby’s neck.
Colby closed his eyes, head tilting to the side. “We were just saying the same thing.” Colby agreed.
You climbed out of the tub and grabbed a stack of towels. “Come on, boys. Let’s move this somewhere You’re not going to accidentally drown.”
Nate pulled away from Colby to stand up and Colby groaned. Nate leaned down to pull him into a gentle kiss. “Good boys wait their turn.” He said, stepping out of the bath and scooping you up.
Colby heard you squeal out a laugh as Nate dropped you on the bed. He couldn’t keep the smile off of his face. He grabbed a towel and walked to join you in the bedroom. “I don’t mind waiting my turn when my view is this good.” Colby said, seeing Nate bent over the bed, his face buried in your breasts.
“I get to leave all the marks I want on you two and everyone is going to think you did it to each other.” Nate smirked, leaning down to suck a red mark at the base of your neck. His teeth grazed your skin as he relented.
Colby walked up behind Nate. “People are going to wonder where yours came from, though.” He said, his hands traveling from Nate’s back to his hips. Colby pulled his hand back and laid a firm slap against Nate’s ass. A clear red handprint visible on the pale flesh.
Nate groaned, burying his face in your neck. “Someone’s begging for attention.” Nate said, feeling Colby’s hand smooth over the reddened skin.
“This doesn’t feel like begging.” Colby snarked, landing a slap on the opposite side of Nate’s ass, his ring clad fingers tracing the red marks.
“I think you should give him what he wants.” You said to Nate, pulling him into a kiss. Your teeth pulling on his bottom lip.
Nate stood up and turned to Colby, his mouth latching on to Colby’s collarbone. “So needy” Nate whispered, leaving a deep purplish red mark on Colby’s skin. “On your knees.”
Colby’s breath caught in his chest for a moment before he dropped down to his knees in front of Nate. You sat up on the edge of the bed behind Nate to watch, your hands moving to rub up and down Nate’s thighs. “God, you look hot like that.”
“Tell me this doesn’t feel like begging.” Nate said, his hand gently grazing Colby’s cheek. his fingers moved to trace Colby’s full lips. “She’s right. You look great on your knees.”
Colby’s cheeks looked flushed and his breathing picked up. “Touch him, Colby.” You said, enjoying the fact that he was relinquishing the power for once. You loved how dominant he normally was, but watching him give it up once in a while was an experience you wouldn’t trade for the world.
Colby leaned forward, pressing kisses to the tattooed bit of flesh near Nate’s hip. He circled Nate’s erection with his hand, pumping up and down the full length. He loosened his grip to flatten his tongue and lick a stripe up the underside from base to tip. When he heard Nate moan his name, he got a little braver. He smirked up at Nate, maintaining eye contact as he took him into his mouth. His soft, full lips sliding further down his length.
Watching these two together was honestly one of the things that got you off the most. You dropped your hand between your legs, slowly starting to pleasure yourself as you watched Colby pleasure Nate. “I can hear you moaning, baby girl.” Nate said in a sing-songy voice. “Are you touching yourself?” he asked.
“God, if you were watching the two of you you’d be touching yourself too.” You said, your fingers quickening their pace.
Colby grabbed Nate’s hips, holding him still so he could try to take him deeper into his mouth. Colby hummed in satisfaction, sending waves of pleasure through Nate’s body. Nate’s head fell back, his hand gripping Colby’s hair to pull his mouth off of him. He stared down at Colby while he caught his breath. “Don’t let her finish herself off.” Nate said, bending down to pull Colby’s wet lips into a rough kiss. He released Colby from the kiss and stepped to the side.
Colby crawled forward, pulling your fingers away from yourself. “Come here.” Colby said, his hands swiftly pulling your hips to the bed’s edge. His mouth moved to your wet core, his tongue doing quick work of pushing you through your orgasm. When you begged him to stop, he kissed his way up your body, stopping to darken the mark that Nate had previously left.
Nate grabbed a condom and walked back to the bed. “Colby, lay down.” He said, pointing towards the head of the bed and putting the condom on himself.
“I don’t think I’ll ever get sick of him bossing you around.” You smiled down at your boyfriend, moving to connect your lips. You kissed across his jaw, whispering in his ear. “I love you. So fucking much.” Colby pulled your lips back to his, his tongue begging entrance.
“Colby, baby. I’m gonna need to borrow her from you for a minute.” Nate said, a lopsided smirk on his face as he watched the two of you make-out.
Colby watched you crawl down his body towards Nate. Seeing him whisper something in your ear. He watched as you turned to crawl halfway back up his body on your hands and knees. “That’s a sight I’ll never get sick of.” He said, watching you lean down and press open mouth kisses up the side of his girth. “Oh fuck.”  Colby squeezed his eyes closed, feeling your tongue move across his sensitive tip. When he opened his eyes, he watched Nate line himself up behind you, hands firmly placed on your hips. “Just when I thought the view couldn’t get any better…”
You could feel Nate sliding himself back and forth over your entrance before filling you up, bottoming out. You pulled your mouth off of Colby to rest your head on his hip. “Fuck. Move, Nate. Don’t tease me.”
“Yes ma’am.” He said, starting to build a rhythm with each additional thrust. “Don’t forget about your boy, there.”
You smirked up at Colby, taking him fully into your mouth. You knew exactly how to make him fall apart. You slid your lips damn near all the way to the base, hollowing your cheeks before bobbing your head back up. Your fingers moved to gently massage his balls as you repeated your actions. Every few thrusts Nate would hit that sweet spot making you groan around Colby’s dick. You knew Colby was close because his hands kept reaching for you. The frazzled energy he felt from being pushed closer to the edge of his orgasm made him grabby. “Y/n, I’m gonna cum.” He mumbled out, giving you fair warning.
“Come on, baby” Nate egged him on, his own thrusts getting slower but rougher indicating he was close, as well. “Colby, look at me.”
Colby looked up, watching Nate’s final thrusts as he threw his head back with a grunt. Colby’s hands tangled in your hair as he came in your mouth. You slowed your movements, swallowing every drop your boy had to give you.
Nate climbed off the bed to throw the condom away. Colby stayed laying on his back, pulling you up to rest against one of his sides. He pressed kisses to your hair and wrapped an arm around you holding you tight against him. “I love you.” He said, still coming down from his high. “I am the luckiest person alive to have you.”
You looked up at him, connecting your lips in a sweet, slow kiss. “I could say the same about you.”
You both saw Nate standing by the door, watching the two of you. “Bitch!” Colby called out, a grin spread across his face. “Don’t you fucking dare touch that door.”
“Don’t worry. I wasn’t going to leave you.” Nate said with a soft smile. “I was just taking a few seconds to really take in the moment.” He tossed the comforter over the two of you before crawling in and cuddling into Colby’s other side.
“Our sentimental boy.” You reached over to rest your hand on his cheek. “We love you, you know?”
“I can feel that.” Nate said, leaning across Colby to kiss you and then moving to kiss Colby. “Why do you think I wanted to make sure I remembered this moment?”
