👽, 🦾, 🪢 and 😬 for Sonic?

👽 A headcanon about a weird quirk of there: Idk if this counts as a weird quirk but I like to imagine he makes a lot of weird faces when he reads, he loves reading so much and imagines the events very vividly.

🦾 A disability headcanon: He has ADHD and is probably autistic as well. I don't think he has an official diagnosis or anything but all his friends are like "Yeah it's pretty obvious". Also, he was selectively mute as a child, and while he talks more as a teenager, he can still occasionally experience speech loss. In those cases he uses sign language, but in some cases he may not be able to communicate in any way at all. Tails is usually ready speak for him if communication is needed, since he knows Sonic the best and can read him pretty well.

🪢 A headcanon about their family: I think his biological family is a mystery to everyone, Sonic included. Maybe he was an orphan, maybe he just got lost, no one knows. But he left his home island when he was very young. Sonic isn't really interested in finding his origins or biological family, he is content with his own found family, especially Tails. I kinda like the headcanon that he has royal origins but I also like the headcanon that he is Just Some Guy Who Showed Up but I also like the headcanon that he is secretly a god or the personification of wind. Maybe I like him being a random guy the best-

😬 A headcanon about the worst thing they’ve done: This is a hard one. I don't think Sonic really regrets anything since he lives in the moment etc. etc. He has probably killed someone but in his mind the worst thing he has ever done is lying to Tails about something jhgkdskdsk

First impression: Second hand embarrassment.. So obnoxious! the scene with the two wedding rings was so striking to me too during my first watch. my first jojo fanart was that..

Impression now: So charmed, honestly. after reading arakis jojonium interviews i am really fascinated at the contrast he intended between Jonathan and joseph, how he describes joseph as "a conman rather than a hero" ACTIVE in comparison, setting the rythm of the story, in control, this is a huge theme in the way he works isnt it.. theres such jazz to it..!!!!..I LOVE his initial resistance to train, because it's such a real human flaw, a VERY dislikeable trait in a person-- And yet hes a JOJO. symbol

Favorite moment: easing wamuus pain with his blood, and this

his perspective on what caesar sees as desperation in esidisi's choices because, its just about doing anything you can in a situation. JOJO is at its core a message of courage and willpower. The word TENACITY here. I just love this. undignified. Or tarnishing to the battle..? But it's not that at all..joseph is serious about this.

Favorite relationship (platonic, familial etc): okay.. caesar. it's just beautiful, its like memories to me. They are two men fighting, which is the core. IDEAL. "We'll grow stronger together". Also i just love the passing of courage through death of jojo characters and how hardened/READY this makes them

For the fic prompt meme, can you do Sonic and Tails with 10? (Of course. Platonic brotherly pairing. I probably do not need to clarify this but. The fic prompt meme seemed more angled for romantic parings so I'm making the clarification anways 👍) It makes me sososo sad that they never got to have that awesome movie night in Impactful Skip...

(YES platonic relationships are very welcome with the prompts that can work platonically as well!! I love exploring platonic relationships perhaps even more than romantic ones XD)

10. movie night

“This is so unrealistic,” Tails huffed in amusement as he shoved a fistful of popcorn into his mouth, “I mean, unlike the usual movies, they at least reload their guns… But they couldn’t really shoot that much in one go, a pistol of that size would only hold maybe 17 bullets at most!”

Sonic snickered in his beanbag chair as he turned his head towards the couch. “Sure, buddy,” he raised his brow at his little brother.

Action movies were Sonic’s favorite, as they usually held his attention better than those confusing art films Amy usually picked. So, for his movie night with his little buddy, Sonic had rented several interesting ones he hadn’t seen yet.

Tails usually enjoyed action movies as well, but he couldn’t help but point out all the inconsistencies and all the facts the movies had gotten all wrong. The little fox was so knowledgeable – perhaps Sonic should’ve been concerned about how much his 8-year-old little brother knew about weapons. But he was way too impressed to worry.

“Modern guns wouldn’t shoot when they are dropped, either,” Tails scoffed as he pointed at the screen, “They won’t shoot unless the trigger is actually pulled, you know!”

“Uh-huh,” Sonic grinned as he reached his hand towards the couch and grabbed some popcorn from Tails’ bowl.

“Seriously! I can’t take this movie seriously when they can’t even get the basic facts right!” Tails chuckled with his arms crossed.

Sonic shook his head with a smile. “Yeah. And a monster of that size couldn’t realistically tear down the sturdiest building in the city, could it?”

“Well, that’s completely different, Sonic!” Tails shouted, “That monster is from another planet and it was exposed to a lot of radiation when it arrived on Earth!”

Sonic snorted loudly. It was good to know his brother had his priorities straight.

☾, ▼, ∇, ൠ with Sonic for the headcanon ask game please :3

☾ - sleep headcanon - Sonic's a VERY heavy sleeper, he just passes out and wakes up several hours later. It's really hard to wake him up. He also sleeps several hours, he's a hedgehog and a very energetic guy after all. He does love napping, too.

▼ - childhood headcanon - He doesn't really talk about his childhood to anyone because he's trans and enjoys being known as Sonic, nothing else. He knew he was trans at an early age, I'd say at 3 since at that age children usually understand the concept of gender. He left his home island at an early age and has been just travelling all alone, until he met Tails and then sort of accidentally adopted him. He just couldn't leave him behind. I also really love the selectively mute younger Sonic headcanon, and I think the anxiety was partially because of gender dysphoria, but not only because of it.

∇ - old age/aging headcanon - I like to imagine that he lives a longer life than hedgehogs usually do thanks to his Chaos Energy etc. But I also like to imagine he's a god-like being/deity etc. and actually immortal, and when he finds out he's just like "lol ok cool" and continues his life normally. He lives in the moment so I don't think he thinks about the future or aging too much. I think I also saw someone saying that if Sonic ever dies, he kinda just disappears and becomes one with the wind (paraphrasing here, but I like that thought)

ൠ - random headcanon - After the events of Unleashed, he has some canine-like behavior as an aftermath, like wagging his tail. He's very introverted, and while he absolutely loves his friends and loves spending time with them, he needs a lot of time on his own to recharge. His social battery doesn’t run out when he’s with Tails though, and the two brothers usually enjoy parallel play.

YO DOUBLE BINGO!! He's literally the character ever. He's an angel working on behalf of a dead God until he isn't. He tries killing V1 (the player character. Who is a robot) twice and fails both times. The second time he got horny halfway through battle and that made him realize God is dead. He's the only one who cares about the damned Ferrymen who carry souls across Styx in hopes of being granted passage to Heaven. He killed the King of the Lust Layer for trying to reform the Lust Layer into a utopia. His first in person appearance was in that guy's stomach. He represents the king piece on a chess board in the credits level with V1 as his queen piece. His voice actor is motherfucking Gianni Matragrano (whom you may recognize for voicing a bunch of memes as characters, including but not limited to Duke Nukem and Columbo). Gianni has streamed in character as him using a Vtuber model and made shipping remarks about him and the guy he killed. He even has his own body pillow cover.
