i was watching pjo tv series with my cousin, who doesnt know a goddamn thing about the books or perhaps anything related to percy jackson and she was like annabeth and grover plotted everything. cuz according to her the main characters instincts are never wrong, which in this case is that annabeth can never be percy's friend and she thinks that in the prophecy grover is the friend who betrays percy. Ares could’ve come to that meeting waving a big sign that said “LUKES THE LIGHTNING THIEF” and they still wouldn’t have believed him.
