I mean I have so few completed fics this applies to 🫠 honestly my gut response was to write a next (and last part) to my er*eri pianoverse (let's just say t*swift's song "Peter" is giving me feelings about it okay lol).

VAMP AU. 😭 which I don't think I've ever talked about on this account lol it's a tae*jin au I've been working on since 2018. it's essentially a beauty and the beast retelling, where instead of a beast it's a vampire. it's actual title is the blood between us, and it is such an AU that you could realistically read it without knowing a single thing about k*pop or b*ts. if there was any fic I ever planned to retool as an original work, it would be that one, but I'd still like to finish it as a fic first.

Im fünften Beitrag zur musikalischen Rückblende auf 1984 komme ich zu Paul Weller und dessen Projekt The Style Council. 1984 sieht The Style Council zu einer festen Band wachsen, nachdem Sängerin Dee C. Lee und Drummer Steve White den Council dauerhaft verstärken. In 1984 wird auch das erste propere TSC Album Café Bleu veröffentlicht, mit welchem Weller endgültig mit den die - hard The Jam Fans bricht – denn die Café House Jazz Grundstimmung stößt bei The Jam Fans größtenteils auf brüske Ablehnung. Die Single My ever changing mood erscheint im März 1984 noch vor dem Album und greift zunächst den Pop- Soul Sound der ersten Council Veröffentlichungen auf. Doch für das Album löst Weller auch diesen Kontext auf und spielt My ever changing mood in einer jazzigen Pianoversion neu ein. Wer wie ich Gefallen am Single edit von My ever changing mood gefunden hatte, war somit gezwungen sowohl Album, als auch Single zu erwerben. Geschadet hat es beiden Formaten nicht, den sowohl die Single als auch das jazzige Album verkauften sich extrem gut. Heute möchte Ich Ihnen die 12 inch Version von My ever changing mood präsentieren, weil diese die eigentliche Single edit ohne viel zusätzlichen Schnick Schnack um ein wunderbares Gitarrensolo ab 4:47 min verlängert.

Ich kann mich gut in die Geschichte des in New York beheimateten Künstlers A-Zal hineinversetzen, wenn ich die Pianoversion seines Songs 'Lonely Town' höre. Mit quasi nichts als Straßenmusiker in der U-Bahn durchzukommen, kann durchaus ein hartes Geschäft sein. Mit diesem Song blickt der Künstler zurück auf diese Zeit, vor allem angesichts dessen, was es bedeutet, sein Ziel zu erreichen. Dabei entsteht eine wirklich wunderschöne Ballade, in der ich die reine Leidenschaft zur Musik heraushören kann.
