charles_leclerc I always thought I was just a fan of cameras, turns out, I loved smiling in photos when you're the one behind the lenses. I do not know the first thing about photography, but I do know every picture of you I have deserves to be treasured.

yourusername i was about to quit photography as a whole when i got accepted as a photographer for ferrari. who knew accepting this job when i was on the brink of losing what i was passionate about would only be the reason why i wake up every day doing what i love and living my best life.

bonus: i met the love of my life while doing it 🤍 it was later that i realized i don't just love taking pictures in general, i adored who i was taking photos of.

took a while before we shared with the world what we meant to each other, but the answer to why i capture charles so well — i take photos from my heart, which incidentally, belongs to him.

It was after dinner and you and Sanji were talking as he cleaned and you wanted to let him know gently because he was a very dramatic man.

You kept asking baby questions and eventually he turned around and caught on.

The words didn’t even come out of your mouth yet his eyes lit up like a light and he grabbed you tightly crying on your shoulder not even believing you at first until you brought him the pregnancy test.

He still has it btw.

Sanji somehow had a suspicion you were pregnant. He knows your body better than yourself, so even though he cried a little he was happy that his assumptions were correct.

You both didn’t even sleep that night, you just kept talking about your future. You had to hold him to keep him still he just couldnt stop jumping around

As for how you both announced the pregnancy he wanted to tell everybody at breakfast so he made a feast. When Robin asked what the occasion was he grabbed you by the hand and told everyone.

“Y/N and I….are pregnant.” :)

Luffy: Men can’t get pregnant…

“LUFFY!”

None the less it was super sweet and honestly you becoming pregnant changed him in a pleather of ways.

He became more mature, protective, vigilant, calm, and even slowed down on his simping for other women. Because now that you have his baby inside you

You both are his only focus now.

Zoro

He didn’t believe you but Chopper was the one to tell you both actually which was really cute because they both nearly fainted.

Also He actually doesn’t understand how you could have gotten pregnant

The crew found out because Zoro was upset

You and Zo are known for drinking together alot but of course you stopped and plenty of people began to notice everytime you turned down a drink.

You were sitting on Zo’s lap by the fire with everyone and even Luffy was drinking except you.

“Y/N are you sick? Why arent you drinking?”

“She cant.”

“Why?”

“Because i said so, Luffy.”

“Youre not the boss of Y/N she can drink if she wanna—“

“SHE CAN’T IT’S NOT GOOD FOR THE BABY!”

Cue in the dramatics.

Zoro to this day slaps his head thinking about how harshly he made sure YOU and Chopper won’t spill but he ended up doing it himself.

But his worries were diminished realizing the amount of well support you both got from the crew since then.

Zoro puts your safety above his every single time and actually gets mad when you don’t listen.

He takes more care of hisself and he isn’t too reckless when he is fighting. For the first time in his life he knew his life was worth taking care of for his future family.

Luffy

Doesn’t get it, but he is a good sport

When you and Chopper tell him he just can’t understand???

“Who’s baby is it?”

“YOURS OBVIOUSLY!?”

“I thought you said if i pull out you wouldn’t get—“

Not until you’re about 2 maybe 3 months and showing is when he finally registers he is going to be a dad.

Every month up until then he looks at you and wonders why you don’t drink, fight, or any thing that you usually do until FINALLY Law explains it to him like he’s 5.

Now that he is up to speed about you being pregnant he suddenly becomes pregnant?

You got cravings? So do Luffy.

You want cake and tacos at 2am

Bless Sanji heart because Luffy do too

He actually ends up gaining a little bit of weight but it wasn’t even noticeable really, he trains too the rubber man really just bulked up

Luffy was showing his concern of being a father to Robin alot. He didn’t want to worry you in thinking he didn’t want the kid especially if you were willing to rid of the baby if he suggested.

Overrall during pregnancy he intrust the crew to watch over you when he leaves. He has complete trust to make sure you are okay and well and healthy.

A few cute things is he will have some moments where he stretches out his belly to bump yours, talk to the baby, sing to it, and even place his hat on your tummy always reminding him or her that their daddy will be the king of the pirates.

You honestly believe you having this baby has matured him in ways you didn’t think was possible.

WOOOOOOOOO the creepypasta requests are keeping me sane between all the TADC requests (no shade, i will close down TADC when i truly get tired of writing for it) rolls around

EYELESS JACK:

really the only reason i picked ej was because i love him and because he lives in the woods in my au/hc, so.... he gets more than enough snow and lord knows that this man needs a little fun in his life! not too incredibly competitive over the fight, so you have a decent chance at winning! not at all phased by the cold, since hes... well hes not sure what he is but hes already cold, whats a little more cold going to do? kill him? probably not.... though he does make you come back inside when you show signs of getting way too cold. he cant have you getting sick, after all! definitely makes you bundle up before you guys even open the front door. very nice, though, you actually get a smile from him... and dare i say a few laughs?

LAUGHING JACK:

really up to anything you want to do, especially if its going to be a game! while sure hes not competitive, it should be noted that lj can be a little aggressive in his play style... as in he kind of underestimates how durable people are... he probably throws a HUGE snow ball at you... and i mean like one thats at least half your size/hj... ooooooh you guys definitely make little forts! you will probably get sick, though, since unless you say anything hes not really going to notice any cues that youre getting too cold... though look on the brightside! lj is very warm and hes more than willing to let you warm up next to him! hes like a portable heater! might have to ask him to pipe down if you guys are playing in your backyard, it would be hard to explain to your neighbors who this 8 foot tall clown man is

JEFF THE KILLER:

oh i just know that hes going to put rocks in the snowballs, so you gotta be careful with that! sore loser, very competitive in the fact that "if i lose im going to lose im never going to be able to live it down (its not that serious)" so youre going to have to really plan things out if you even want a chance at winning.... okay you might not need to be overly strategic, jeff isnt the best planner and he tends to brute force his way with things, so you might have the upper hand if you actually try to hit him in his weak points. destroy his fort, overwhelm him, hit him where it hurts (its really not that deep.) very insistent that you guys keep going because he cannot stand the idea of being beat, even if you two are both freezing your asses off. you both likely get sick... jeff seems like the type to be whiny when sick imo LMAO so have fun with that

HOODIE:

like a middle between eyeless jack and jeff. hes competitive but not in the same way of jeff, he just takes the game way too seriously but he doesnt actually feel inclined to win. he can swing either way with the outcome, you know? does not put rocks in the snowball, though. not a dirty cheat, plus he doesnt actually want to hurt you! makes very good forts that are sturdy, you SWEAR hes put bricks in them but rest assured its pure snow. takes you inside ones you start showing signs of getting too cold, probably puts a time out on the game by making the T hand shape that people do in games, since i personally hc that he doesnt speak (communicates via primarily sign language but he sometimes leaves you notes!). doesnt get sick easily, so if you do get sick hes going to look after you. dont even try to fight it. he has nothing better to do, hes going to be there whether you want him there or not

hello!!! sorry this took a while, was busy even after school ended and i just got sick recently :( i hope you like it anyways 💓

“Hey, (Y/L/N),” Emily called out as she threw a piece of crumpled paper over at your desk, which made you look up at her and frown in response to her, “You’ve got little feet incoming to see you again.”

Standing up from your chair to turn around to the doors of the BAU, you were smiling from the sight of little Jack Hotchner running towards you with Aaron trailing behind him with a laugh. You knelt down on the floor to welcome him with a tight hug, “Jackers! Be careful!”

Jack giggles as you stand up to spin him around and he wraps his little arms around your neck, “Ms. (Y/N)! I’m going to get dizzy!”

You scrunch your nose up at him and poked him in his tummy, “What brings my little best friend here at the BAU today?”

“Really? I’m your best friend?” Jack beams at you while you nodded in confirmation, “Daddy thought I could stay here a bit, so we can go to the bookstore after he gets off work! Can I stay with you, Ms. (Y/N)?”

“Jack, Ms. (Y/N) might be busy,” Aaron smiled as he ruffled up his son’s hair, “You could stay with me in my office. There’s a comfy sofa there, buddy.”

“No!” Jack frowned as he turned around to bury his face in your neck, “I want to stay with Ms. (Y/N), I’ll behave, daddy.”

You smiled and rubbed Jack’s back as you sat back down on your chair, “It’s alright, Hotch. I’m going to need a little company while I drown in this paperwork. Plus, how can I ever say no to this little face?” Turning him to face you to squish his little cheeks, which elicited giggles from the little boy, “I want to know all about your school escapades, little buddy.”

“Ms. Turner brought in her bearded dragon today, it was so cool!” Jack animatedly talks as he makes himself comfy on your lap, “His name was Eustace, she made me hold it and he was really nice! She told me I was very brave!”

Aaron walked back to his office with a small smile on his face as he saw how happy his son was around you. He was certain that you had this magic that made his son favor you over the other members of the team, but maybe it was your kindness. There was no denying that was the thing that made him fall for you three years ago.

“Hey, Hotch, got some things for you- are you smiling over (Y/N) again?”

Clearing his throat quickly and shaking his head, “I don’t know what you’re talking about, JJ. Just leave the folders here.”

JJ laughs softly and shakes her head, “You know…I get it, you’re scared that she doesn’t feel the same way but I can reassure you that you don’t have to worry about that.”

Before Aaron could say anything else, JJ smiled softly before she stepped out his office, “Take the leap of faith, Hotch. I think it’s time the BAU has its own power couple, hm?”

Aaron laughed softly as he shook his head and bid JJ goodbye. Maybe he’ll take that leap of faith today. Maybe he’ll stop running this time.

It wasn’t long until you knocked with Jack on your hip and a big smile on both your faces, “Hey, Hotch. Uh, Jack wants to get some snacks at the nearby coffee shop. Is that fine?”

Aaron looked over at Jack, who was nodding excitedly and had his hands clasped together, and smiled, “Yeah, that’s fine. Let me just grab my wallet and we can head on over.”

“Oh, it’s okay! I can take him there,” You smiled as Jack gently bumped his head on you, like Crush and Squirt did in Finding Nemo and got down from your embrace and held your left hand instead, “You must be busy and I insisted he stay with me, so it’s no worry at all.”

“(Y/L/N), you’re rambling,” Aaron chuckled lightly and led you two out his office with a hand on your back, “I’ll come with you both and it’s no worry, I’m not that busy.”

You nodded as you blushed lightly from the action, which definitely did not go unnoticed by the team. Emily whispered over to Derek and winked at you while she made a small heart in the air and mouthed, ‘Happy family.’, which definitely got you glaring at her in response.

“Ms. (Y/N), will you be coming with us to the bookstore later?” Jack looks at you and smiles, “There’s lotsa books about dinosaurs there!”

“Buddy, Ms. (Y/N) has to rest after work,” Aaron reached over to ruffle his son’s hair as the three of you walked to the coffee shop, “Maybe nex-”

“Sure, Jack, I’ll come with you,” You smiled and scrunched your nose down at him, “It’s okay, Hotch.”

“You sure, (Y/L/N)? I don’t want to force you or anything, if you’re busy, I- I mean, Jack would understand. There’s always a next time.”

“Hotch, I love spending time with this little guy right here, maybe you too,” You lightly teased him with a smile, “Plus, it’s a nice way to get my mind off everything we see at work, you know?”

Aaron held back a smile from your admission, maybe JJ was right. “You’re right, a little break does us good sometimes. For the record, I do enjoy being around you, too.”

The two of you looked into each other’s eyes with a smile on your lips and continued walking together, until Aaron took a deep breath and intertwined his fingers with your free hand. You looked up at him with your mouth agape, trying to find the right words to say.

“Just to clarify that me holding your hand doesn’t, like, mean anything, by the way. Not in that way, at least. Unless you want it to mean something,” Aaron cleared his throat as a light blush spread across his cheeks, “I don’t mind. That’s cool.”

“Hotch, you’re rambling,” You laughed lightly as you teased him and held back his hand tighter, “Also, this sounds like you’re flirting with me, hm?”

The three of you stopped walking as Aaron looked at you and mumbled, “…I’ve been trying to do that for three years now.”

Jack giggles and joins in the conversation while pulling on your arm that causes you to kneel down to his height, “Daddy always talks about you, Ms. (Y/N). He tells me how you’ve always been so kind.”

“Jack, buddy, don’t need to push me out in the open,” Aaron laughs nervously and rubs the back of his neck, “I hope this isn’t awkward or anything. I mean I’m not fo-”

You stood back up and tiptoed to kiss him softly on his cheek, which caused your usually grumpy unit chief to blush, “Not awkward at all, Hotch. For the record, I probably liked you first more than you did.”

Aaron smiles and laces his fingers with you once more, “Maybe. But either way, I’m pretty sure that I fell harder.”

ozzies long-ass TSP ramble

For context, a few days ago i was in a thinky mood when i watched this video on Valve catwalks. it mentioned death of the author, and while ive heard of it, I didnt understand what it meant until after the video explained it. So i got thinking. the following was a series of messages I sent to my friends on a discord server im in (with the exception of the last part bc i just thought of it now even tho im sick) that i compiled for yall into sections so its easier to read. these are just my thoughts and could be totally wrong, i just wanted to share aksjdh :P (plus this is my second time im posting this so there might be some inconsistencies)

(ramble under the cut so yall dont get a massive wave of text on your dash)

"smth smth death of the author smth smth reviews smth smth interpretations smth smth skip button"

like idk if this was obvious to everyone else n im just finally getting it or not, but the skip button ending being about the narrator seeing the negative reviews causing him to create the button in order to appease them, which said reviews ended up making him believe he was being preachy and obnoxious and unfunny, but as a result, he ends up believing it and trying to appease those interpretations rather than be more confident of his dialogue and what it means to him(whatever he may believe) and ending up dying at the end bc of it being a kind of literal version a death of an author of sorts

im just thinking about how timekeeper/settings person/432/whatever is really only interested in the player, but not stanley himself. and if the narrator ends up dying (or decaying at least in my interpretation) during the skip button, could the same be said about stanley as a character as well?

like we never see stanleys model as us, we dont see his feet when we look down, and the only time we see him in game is either as a hand during the bucket escape pod ending, the mariella endings, and the not stanley ending. and the last two are cutscenes. for all we know, stanley could have died at some point during the skip button after the narrator did and we would never know bc we cant see him

but since 432's desk being at the end of the epilogue which happens post skip button ending, i would have said that was the first time we ever see him interact with the game internally rather than asking for the time. but i do remember someone suggesting that the timekeeper was the one who removed the door in the skip button in order to kill the narrator off and get stanley/the player away from him in order to talk more

with that thought in mind, that would mean TK had to kill stanley and the narrator off in order to be able to lead the game, push beyond the barriers of a narrator and character and just talk to the player, one on one

it makes me wonder if what the curator said in the museum ending holds more weight

like, she talks to the player as well. both she and TK talk to the player themselves instead of stanley the character. and when she says "When every path you can walk has been created for you long in advance, death becomes meaningless, making life the same. Do you see now? Do you see that Stanley was already dead from the moment he hit start?"

stanley's function is a character in the narrators story, a literary device to propel the game forward. the narrator makes the race track, and stanley drives. without the narrator where would stanley go or do, without stanley who would move the story along?

"Can you see? Can you see how much they need one another? No, perhaps not. Sometimes these things cannot be seen."

and yet, hes dead, just like the curator said. because no matter what, he's never going to be able to truly make his own decisions. the confusion ending lays out how all the endings are scripted despite what the narrator believes and acts, its all predetermined.

and in a sense, the narrators dead too. no matter what stanley tries to do to change the story, or the narrator changes to the game in order for stanley to react to, its been planned long in advance for the eventuality. every word, every event. and with stanley's deaths, it ends up just bringing them back to the beginning again, "What exactly did the Narrator think he was going to accomplish?" if they always come back to the same preplanned paths, to the illusion of free will, it doesnt matter regardless. death doesnt become a statement, it becomes an inconvenience.

"But listen to me, you can still save these two. You can stop the program before they both fail. Push escape, and press quit. There's no other way to beat this game. As long as you move forward, you'll be walking someone else's path. Stop now, and it'll be your only true choice."

The only way to save both Stanley and The Narrator is by not letting the story play out to begin with. To beat the game, which means to let the game end after you win.

and yet,

the end is never the end is never the end is never the end is never the end is never the end is neve-

In a game where there is no ending that stops the game in its entirety, where everything will keep on happening again and again and the end is never the end, the only way to beat it is to make a choice as yourself the player, not stanley the character.

because he doesnt get a choice, the narrator doesnt get a choice. they think they do, but they dont. the only way to beat the game is to not play it. (which makes sense given that there are achievements involving not playing the game in both the 2013 HD remaster and 2022 Ultra Deluxe)

both Stanley and The Narrator are two sides of the same coin that make up The Stanley Parable, and the only way to use the coin is to give it away.

maybe thats why the true ending of the game with credits and stuff like that, is the Not Stanley Ending.

You the player have successfully broken the fourth wall from the outside in, even though that ending was planned like all the others (ie, the game allowing you to disconect the phone), you break the illusion of being stanley the character, which the game ends up booting you out of stanley as it cant handle the "narrative contradiction".

maybe thats why the escape pod ending has the sign that reads "both the player and the narrator must be present in order to leave". its not stanley, its the player, us.

maybe thats why that ending is one of the most cruel. the only way to get there is to leave the narrator trapped in the boss' office. there's no way to get him to the escape pod. the end is never the end.

(this part was the new idea i just had today so this might not make sense i appologize)

going back to the beginning of this ramble about the death of the author and such. perhaps there is a way to get the narrator out.

with thoughts about interpretations and with he idea of the "death of the author", all of us have our own interpretations of the TSP characters. whether its design, or relationship wise, or characterization, or what have you. The Narrator in my head is different from you reading this, and that narrator is different from another persons perspective, and definitely our narrators are different to the one that lives in Davey Wreden's head, or Kevan Brighting, or anyone who has even heard of the stanley parable.

and that's not a bad thing! there can be many similarities to the characters that our interpretations share, some more common than others and some that make no sense at all, but for the most part we all have different interpretations of the characters.

I read a book called Book Simulator (The Reader's guide to not reading) by Chris Yee on stream once. The VOD is gone now. But I discovered the book because I heard the guy writing/the narrator of sorts for the book was written like the Stanley Parable Narrator.

It didnt help that Kevan brighting voiced over the commercial for it too askjdh

but back to the book. this will contain somewhat spoilers for it since it brings up a moment at the end of the book so feel free to stop here if you dont want to be spoiled

basically, in Book Simulator, Booksi (The book's instructional narrator on how to fake read at the start of the book) is arguing with The Narrator (no not ours, but the general narrator who speaks in the third person), however, its revealed by The Narrator that Booksi has a plan to take over the world by inhabiting more book simulators and distributing them across the world. But, the reader could kill off the booksi that they have in their hands that they are reading, to quote:

"Or was he the original Booksi? Maybe not. Maybe the original Booksi had been vanquished long ago, and the reader was now facing one of the many copies roaming the world. Both Booksi and the Narrator knew the answer to this question, but neither would reveal the truth."

Taking from Book Simulator the concept of multiple iterations of one character existing in different copies of the media they originate from, maybe in a way that's how the Narrator may die in the stanley parable, forever stuck to repeat the same endings with the illusion of free will, but he lives on somewhat for everyone that has seen or heard of him in any capacity.

this may sound a bit preachy (oh the irony) but bare with me:

The Original Narrator from The Stanley Parable is dead, dead in the sense that he and Stanley are stuck within the game, given the illusion of free choice, and unable to leave nor do anything to try and escape, is also alive in the sense that we the players perception of The Narrator lives on in our minds.

The Narrator from the game might be stuck, but the Narrator i see in my head, the one i designed and draw and think of is perfectly fine and alive as ever.

and the same goes with you and anyone else who has heard of the narrator. their interpretation is still unique and different to them even if it all comes from the same media. he may not be exactly the same as the original, but hes still there. and in a way, hes free.

(man typing this last segment down makes me feel like a gd priest, and/or someone talking abt the barbie movie akjdhkjasdh so sorry if doesnt make sense at all :P)

hey!! sorry im taking so long to start either of the polls, i was sick for a little while but some other things came up as well, which has made it hard for me to properly plan a whole competition (they take more work then i remembered!!)

i want to write a description for each polycule in the self indulgent one since theres no submissions i could take propaganda from, that plus finding good images takes quite a bit of work that i cant put in right now. But im not quitting!! It might just take me another week or two before i can start.

I debated for a while on whether or not to make a post explaining but (after many years of trying) i was finally able to get an appointment w a psychologist! its next week, im not sure how its gonna go, ive had amazing experiences w therapy as well as some shitty ones, so meeting a new therapist is always terrifying which means my anxiety is through the roof and unfortunately the polls moved down on my priority list because of that. But this is a good thing!! It's vrry hard to get an appointment using our universal healthcare system where i live so this is rlly good news to me!!

HAPPY MARCH🥳

`☆ ⋆ ｡ It's the beginning of a new month! ｡ ꕤ~ .

Quick confession. I didn't start the year the way I promised myself I would as a master manifester, a shifter and an art studentin college😭 plus today's the last day of my 2nd project and I will just say.. I didn't prioritise my time as well as I should have. So I'm not gonna let myself cry over wasted time along side incomplete work and lock in🤞🏽

But anyway I want to share my plan for this month. I am going to keep on top of:

☆ Journaling, Scripting and Vaulting

In my introduction, I said I would introduce myself as I would in my better current reality and really embody my drself. I'll be honest, the closest I have been to embodying my drself was daydreaming being my drself🧍🏿‍♀️ So I want to change that once and for all. I am sick of wishing I was her instead of realising I literally am her ffs.

So, I think vaulting as I am my drself and tracking my manifestation journey is an awesome way for successful embodiment. Because essentially when I am vaulting about my (dr)self, I am just affirming to myself about who I am by saying "I am this" or "I love having that" or maybe "my blah blah blah is so cute" and "I am so grateful that xyz".

☆ Practicing entering the void

Okay so I already understand that the void is nothing special (to me at least). The only reason why people think its special is because of the fact that you instantly recieve your desires once youve affirmed them when in the void (please for the love of god dont think you cant manifest instantly outside of the void. It is just a tool). It is literally just a deep meditative state. You are literally just meditating. It's the stillness state. The state of just being. Your I am-ness. So now that I have taken the void off the pedestal, I feel like I can enter the void anytime I try now and I will this march.

☆ Persistance/Loyalty to the new story

Something I've struggled with is persistance to my manifestations simply because of what I see in the 3D. Even when i've persistantly affirmed to myself for something not to happen or to get something, sometimes the opposit happens and I'll get what i didnt want.. but im content with it because it actually turned out alright, and I'll just settle for that. But whats really interesting is that Ive learned to always stay neutral to it anyway. I understand that nothing in the 3D has any meaning whatsoever. The the 3D is neutral and circumstances literally don't matter. Only I have power of the 3D and nothing in the 3D can have power unless I let it. And this applies to who i choose to identify as. Do i identify as someone who doesnt quite have everything she wants or do i identify as someone with everything i could ever want. So usually if I see something i don't like I'll just shake it off. Which brings me to

☆ Revision

Ive been in the loa community for 5 years and I learnt about revision 2 years ago through a revise your past subliminal. I didn't even know you could actually rewrite your past so this kind of opened me to really understanding the law of assumption applies to everything.

Since then I've been using revision subliminals here and there to revise certain scenarios and whatever, but I haven't really been using revision to its true potential. As I have learnt I can change the past, I will be vaulting/scripting my desired past through different eras of my life that I've already lived. So stuff like what highschool I went to and how I did in it, erasing unfavourable moments and replacing them with something better suited to me to align myself with my actual (dr)self

☆ Using general blanket affirmations and making specific affirmations that resonate with me to rewire my mindset and self concept

I already do this but 1. I don't do it as much as I'd like to and 2. I am altering the way I think about myself and everything in general. So I guess the way I used to affirm kind of felt robotic, forced and fake. So I figured I will use the generalised blanket affirmations I actually like to use and not the ones I'm told to use that I don't connect with, as well as make my own affirmations personalised to what I identify as and embody. This brings me to my next topic.

☆ Subliminals

Okay so I saw this post from another loa blogger talking about subliminals and they said that changing the reason why you use subliminals can really improve your manifestation journey. So instead of using subliminals to get something, use them to remind yourself you already have it. Use them to help you persist in in the fact that you are the version of yourself who HAS 1 million pounds or that you HAVE your dream life. Use them to REMIND yourself, you are already the version of you who has it. This goes for ANY and ALL subliminals by the way. Use your desired subliminals to repeat back what you identify as guys!

I’m kinda surprised that you don’t like Dylan? He seems to be such the fan fav I don’t think I ever actually seen anyone rank him so low on their list- what’s your opinions on his character?

yeaah i just didnt really vibe with him when i played, plus i got pretty annoyed seeing him everywhere before getting into the game (travis too but thats a whole nother thing). like good for all you guys for having fun but i just cant get into it

im gonna be honest about my opinions on him so if you reeaaaaally like dylan i recommend not reading. and i mean that genuinely

1.ive just. i immediately saw dylan as one of those like male characters that get super popular in a fandom bc he: is white.is a guy. is a brunette. is associated w/ a gay ship. and is fit under a "bad boy / mentally ill / misunderstood" trope. i truly and honestly dont care if someone likes these types of characters. as long as you're not a fucking freak, i dont give a shit what you do. its just such a prominent trend that should make you go HMMMMM fandom hates women and people of color! and basically im just sick of that trend! so seeing dylan also fit into it turned me super off lmao

2. in relation to his character, i think its fine, i guess, its nothing revolutionary. especially in regards to other supermassive characters.... i thought about this during work one day and like. emily has a similar character to dylan LOL and ive had this thought before but. dylan and emma are also very similar character wise! in terms of like. compensating ina very negative way due to insecurity! but you know whch characters get the most flack for being dicks? for being bitches? for being the worst? and you know who doesnt?

3. i also particularly hated the thing he did to abi during the camp fire scene. like. i dont care if you compensate by making jokes and shit, you're still an asshole. and so is emma. and so is emily. i dont understnad why dylan should get ANY different treatment. but anyway, that dare was absolutely targeted towards abi and nothing will change my mind on the matter. abi is very clearly on the outside of the group. hell, the entire time everyone (mainly kaitlyn and emma) makes comments about how incompetent abi is when it comes to dating anf shit. and so for dylan to ask what he did? it put her on the fucking spot and humiliated her. i dont care if he "saves" it if you dont interrupt as ryan, there's absolutely no way hes unaware of abi's standing social wise in the group. him asking HER that of all people is just shitty. he fucking knows what abi's answer is gonna be. and even though she never answers the question, the damage is already done.

and before anyone says anything, i know nick also was targeted in diff ways for being "incompetent" in this specific sense. which is another conversation im willing to have. but even so, rthe comment ryan still makes bout not letting that "prep aesthetic fool you"? and the way he kisses emma? he clearly has got some "game" or whatever the fuck. whereas abi doesn't really have any of those moments (except for kissing nick first, which is something kaitlyn ryan and dylan said she wouldnt do LOL). and speaking of kaitlyn? and in association, emma? what they did to abi is one of the things i hate most about them and what happens in game. its actually what made me begin to DISLIKE both of them when it happened. basically what im saying is, kaitlyn and emma arent exempt from this criticism just because i dont like dylan. and i also dont care if thats the "point" of truth or dare. it still makes all the characters involved fucking dicks. they know how abi is like, emma especially, so seeing them all pull this shit is just disheartening and sad.
