MHA mustard deserved better
Mustard is a character that many of us forget but surprisingly his character really stuck to me for some reason.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mustard is around 13-14 years old and was part of the training camp attack. His quirk is known as gas and looks very similar to midnight it also has a very similar effect to midnight's. I think that it's such a shame that his story was never explored and that we never got much of what happend to him. We don't even see him in the final arc. All we are told is that mustard is captured by the police after the attack and is then imprisoned to never seen him again.
I think that if MHA wanted to truly and properly redeem villains or explore the idea why villains became the way they are we should of gotten more exploration when it came to mustard. You can easily assume that mustard probably had a horrible life that drove him to villainy because how is it that you become a villain and don't have enough of anything to change out of your middle school uniform. How is it that a 13-14 year old knows how to wield a gun and there are so many more questions like how was mustard treated?
Personally I would have it so that we are shown more about mustard. How did he end up where he is? How did shigaraki even allow him to join? Did he somehow stumble or was in the wrong place at the wrong time and just got swept by the crowd? Who taught him how to wield a gun? And so many other questions to build his character. Mustard felt like an empty character with wasted potential. From the little amount of screentime we can tell that he acts like a child and is a bit annoying like a middle schooler would be but he definitely acts, fights and does so many more things above his age. I personally would be more interested in a tiny arc to explore how society failed mustard. Why is his name mustard anyway? He is one of the only characters who we don't know his real name so does that mean mustard could of been a name a bully gave him?
For some reason thinking about the character of mustard distinctly reminds me of middle school Izuku midoriya. They seem ironically similar in a way🤷‍♀️.
Also can we talk about how after he gets captured nothing really happens. Like where does mustard go? He is too young to go to prison so does MHA have something equivalent to a delinquent center or juvenile detention? Do they just let mustard rot in jail? Does mustard have a family that tried to fight his case? Did the family get any backlash (like toga's family)? So many questions to think about. Was there or could of there been a rehabilitation programme out up for mustard. Like mustard is young and shows a lot of signs that say "society failed me" or something similar so was there or could of there been something similar to that.
Tumblr media
I personally think we should of gotten some mustard and midnight interactions. They have similar quirks with similar effects one became a hero the other a villain they don't have many differences I wonder if midnight struggled with her quirk I wonder how she would interact with mustard.

I am someone who adores G-witch with a burning passion. But I’m also not immune to the criticism people have of the story pacing, especially at the end.
This of course resulted in me trying to think up how I’d personally change the story to better flow. Friend and me discussed it a few times and formed some thoughts. Not gonna go into full details but here are some musings of the biggest thing I’d add. Just season 2 stuff here for now.
First, keep the two Earth Witches alive and have them escape the school with Elan in tow. Have the school be so destroyed that everyone has to be sent home. But Suletta doesn’t have a home anymore so she is sent to Earth with her friends.
Tumblr media
Second half of season 2 would then be the “Earth Arc.” Along with it being a sort of “rescue mission” to get Miorine who in this version would be trapped on Earth.
Here we’d work more with the Earth factions, get more bonding with Suletta and her friends. She’d also become the pilot for the Schwarzette after an incident forces the need of this Gundam on Earth. Involving both the other Witches and such.
Tumblr media
Along with this also better introduce the group at the end who tried to wipe everyone out. Have them move in the shadows trying to wipe out not only all the Witches but Miorine and everyone connected to her as well and blame it on the Earthlings.
Got a few more ideas but think I rambled enough for now. Could add more later. We shall see I suppose.
Oh and obviously more Sulemio. You think I’d not add way more Sulemio interactions? Wild to even consider such a thing.

Just popped into my head, but if ya wanted a GW rewrite that didnt drag claude through the mud but also had claude play a more developed role so to speak, ive got some ideas
the route opens up with the battle on the myrdian bridge, where we compress the entirety of the empires incursion that takes up the front half into that chapter; that is instead of claudes feint being to let the empire run into the alliance and get stranded there he traps their initial forces at myrdian and sweeps them up there. then the next chapter has claude make an attack on the empire/bergleiz territory.
however after the attack on the empire itself claude gets the call that almyra and shahid are attempting a second incursion, an even larger army at shahids call and fodlans throat needs help RIGHT NOW, so claude is forced to abandon his momentum on the empire and sue a quick peace
ch7 in this scenario is devoted to rushing back to fodlans throat and making a hasty defense there, it almost seems to succeed but then shahid is able to win the day so to speak proving that well hes not cunning in the same way claude is [and demonstrably cruel/pigheaded] hes no less capable a threat. ch 8 then plays the alliance defending deirdru from almyran forces in a siege, with hubert [cause edelgards stubbornly prideful] making secret communications with claude to propose a deal; we the empire give you reinforcements, you the alliance give us your loyalty dont worry about it. claude reluctantly accepts cause shahid has an obvious force advantage and the empire is offering an equalizer with ch8 ending with the empire breaking the siege.
ch9 kicks off with the empire immediately abusing that privilege; the empire occupies and effectively annexes leicester in all but name, organizes a temporary truce with almyra on leicesters behalf, and forces leicesters army to do the empires dirty work and fight the kingdom and church. claude, assuming that edelgard is mostly concerned with the church and rhea organizes a gamble of a strategy to try and detooth edelgards campaign for war, first he captalizes on sreng and faerghus tensions to distract faerghus, then in ch10 he rushes the churches forces and position as quick as possible eliminating rhea and trying to organize some form of peace. it doesnt work as edelgard rebuffs all of his suggestions for peace continuing her war effort and dimitri is unreceptive to claudes words due to not trusting him in the slightest after the sreng incident.
ch11 spices things up immensely though, shahid is not only breaking the adrestian facilitated truce, but the almyran forces have completely blown past the adrestian garrison stationed at the throat, cut through leicester and is threatening adrestia itself. edelgard panics and brings her forces to bear on the almyrans forcing claude to join up as well. claude in desperation tries to convince nader to pull out of the invasion which claude hopes will detooth shahid. nader is only able to pull back and claude finds shahids personal forces are no less formidable for it. the chapter wraps up with shahid retreating but keeping his territorial gains of leicester and claude begging edelgard to give him time to find a diplomatic solution, to which edelgard denies now out for blood and willing to trample the alliances citizens in the process.
out of options for ch12 claude makes for one final gamble, let the empire and almyran forces duke it out, and well their distracted claude and a strike team will 'cut off the head' and force shahid to capitulate at knifepoint as shahids busy trying to solidify his gains. they get him alone beat off his guards and corner claudes rival with claude giving shahid one more chance to surrender. shahid goads claude into killing him instead noting that he'll never surrender and if claude doesnt kill him his little strike squad is gonna get overrun by reinforcements. claude does the grim deed of killing a blood relative, in order to save his comrades, and the final course is set.
realizing that killing shahid isn't going to stop this invasion, almyra maintains a strong position and however unpopular shahid might be a dead prince is going to galvanize and encourage the hotblooded almyrans, claude commits himself to the course. first he dissolves the alliance and institutes the federation, then he blames the empire for shahids death framing it as an assassination and citing 'such despicable methods' as reason for instituting the federation and importantly 'accepting the generous offer of general nader and prince khalid to formally institute the leicester federation as a protectorate of the almyran empire' dumping the job of federation king on lorenzes shoulders and taking up the mantle of prince khalid once more in order to lead the almyrans in place of 'his dear late brother shahid'. ch13 is thus round 2 of the almyran incursion into edelgards empire this time claudes in charge, pushing edelgards forces own progress against the almyrans right back and taking myriddian.
no ones happy with claude at this point, even his allies, but claude keeps to the course reasoning that if hes willing to kill shahid to keep his friends safe, not even necessarily to support his own dream, then he has to be willing to do anything to keep them safe. ch14 is cutting a path to enbarr, all as news reaches claude that the kingdom which has pushed its own way into the empire thanks to the almyrans incursion is now bunkering down in its own captured territory spending time and resources on fortifying and rebuilding in preparation for possible conflict with almyra, the rebuilding claudes notes in a fond manner as a show of dimitris compassion for the 'common folk' before coldly noting it as a weakness to exploit in future showcasing the decline of his mental health. ch14 caps off with a battle in the streets of enbarr as claude employs every dirty trick in the book to speed things along but further showcasing how badly hes doing now
ch15 is thus the big bash battle for the imperial palace itself, claude circumventing edelgards brute force methodology at every turn before finally confronting the empress herself whos been making last minute deals with the agarthans now that shes on the backfoot. said deal involves a hegelgard fight for the climax and claudes not nearly as nice about it as AM dimitri was, killing her well edelgard is still hegelgard as the agarthans retreat for now. the ending is altered depending on byleth recruitment or not, no byleth seeing kingdom and federation forces open hostilities pretty soon after hegelgards defeat well byleth recruited sees a tense but present peace settle between the kingdom and federation.

half-goat who's technically twice his age
one-eyed brother who's technically half his age
surprisingly lovely giant dog from hell
strangely devoted flying horse who can talk
and an odd assortment of people:
his mama
immortal lesbian who was a tree for a few years
scary buff girl who bullied him a little
autistic kid who radiates death and had a crush on him
nicest demigod ever whom he had a crush on before he... died
allegedly normal girl who now randomly tells the future
autistic girl who tried her absolute hardest to hate him then promptly fell in love with him. now they're soulmates

still working plotting for my main fic and yknow. i see a lot of posts laughing at cassandra/the inq/justinia/whoever for wanting to recruit hawke as the inquisitor but like there's actually a lot of really disturbing tones to it, when i thought it through.
cassandra recruits cullen into the inquisition. and yeah, he comes in as a military commander, despite the fact that he has no military experience, but i think that's more related to like. the roots of the first inquisition. they later became the templars and the seekers -- cullen is military commander not because they expected to have to fight anyone but because justinia was going to use the writ to build the chantry's military strength if the bloody conclave didn't work out. cullen was hired because he's the fucking knight-commander of kirkwall, and justinia wants him to rebuild the templars. i know people like to laugh about it because it makes "no sense" but the military commander was never meant to do the kind of fighting they ended up having to do in the game -- it was intended to remake the templars. cullen trained hundreds of templar recruits in kirkwall and he's one of the only few that hasn't broken away from the chantry despite the dissolution of the nevarran accord. he's the most obvious pick for commander, when you consider what the inquisition wants.
bw canon hawke is a mage hawke who sided w the mages in kirkwall. they recruited a templar that knows him personally, that has had an antagonistic relationship with him in the later years, that knows how he works and thinks. if they had gotten their hands on hawke, do you actually think they wouldve politely asked him to lead the inquisition?

Headcanon i've had for a while now about how minecraft hack clients could work, similar to the headcanons about how in game chat would work.
Just sort of an explanation with some examples, obviously some hacks are pretty hard to translate into a physical thing, but i tried my best. :)
Full text can also be found under read more.
"Hack Clients" are illegal modifications of a player's attire (i.e. player skin) in order to give them an unfair advantage. The visibility of a "Hack Client" modification depends on the server a player is on. On servers such as 2b2t, these modifications are obviously visible while on stricter servers, such as Hypixel, hackers will try to be more subtle, often hiding modifications underneath clothing.
Eyewear: Modified for use of visual hacks (i.e. x-ray. fullbright, esp, etc.), the easiest to hide from moderators.
Footwear: Modified for use of hacks such as Anti-Knockback, High-jump, and other similar hacks.
Mechanical Braces: Used to allow players to move with otherwise impossible reaction times, most often used for PVP. Completely illegal on most servers, players will attempt to hide them underneath clothing but often fail.
Leg brace: Used for b-hopping.
Arm brace: Used for kill-aura and aimbot.

Nobara has so much wasted potential
Oh the jjk queen of wasted potential and what could of been one of the best female leads in shonen but dam did that fail so badly.
Hot take but Iam not fully against nobara actually being dead and not coming back but if that happens/ if it was geges intentions I don't think he did it well considering that characters like maki and Gojo just forgot about her. Her impact in the story also seems to have lessened significantly and we would be lucky if yuji thinks about her whereas we have nothing from megumi's side of the story.
Nobara first starts of as a character that is quite ambitious and ignorant. This can be explained from the fact that she comes from a quite, secluded and small village, a village that she hated the traditions of and felt somewhat trapped in. These feelings are what influenced her desire to travel and go to the city. She got the opportunity to travel and study Jujutsu in Tokyo Japan and took it. She then chose to enjoy life and create new memories leaving the village behind. That doesn't mean that she forgot about fumi or saori rather she is reminded of them through her Jujutsu work.
Gege is great at presenting nobara as an ambitious teenage girl who just does whatever she pleases. There are multiple scenes where we see nobara casually vibing with itadori and heck being a bit bossy (a she should) and just having overall fun around her friends. Nobara is very protective of those that she cares about and this is further emphasised when she is shown to care and like maki whereas she hates and dislikes mai. When momo is describing the stuff that mai had to go through she dismisses it saying that she doesn't truly care for it because she doesn't like Mai but we see her have a talk with yuji before the fight saying that they should help maki. We see nobara being sympathetic over what maki had to go through and heck even trash on zenin traditions yet Mai doesn't get this treatment from nobara. I personally find this to be an interesting writing choice, it shows just how protective nobara is of the people that she cares but how cruel (it's not the right word but similar to it) she can be to others that she doesn't care for.
I have mixed feelings when it comes to the nobara and momo interaction. Momo, a second year reveals the reality of the jutusu society to nobara. Due to nobara's closed of upbringing and her naivety she does come of as ignorant in this situation. Momo talks about the inequality and misogyny plaguing Jujutsu society and how that has affected both maki and Mai. Nobara does acknowledge the inequality and harshness that maki faces and she also acknowledges Mai's yet she states that she can't bring herself to be empathetic or really care for mai considering that she hates her. Nobara's response to this situation is quite ignorant but it is to be expected after all she is a 16 year old who is sheltered to the truth of Jujutsu society by her late grandma who was rightfully against her joining jujustu high. So she makes this into a woman Vs men type of thing and her response is how she loves herself and does whatever and whenever. In my opinion this is an alright and flawed response, it could of foreshadowed that this is something she needs to work on. Gege could of used nobara's character as one that tries to fully understand the idea of feminism and not the heavily teenage marketed girl boss feminism that she seems to take on board and care for, yet he doesn't.
Tumblr media
I love that nobara has such a strong character, she isn't afraid to show what she is thinking and she will do whatever, whenever while also deeply caring for those close to her. That doesn't mean she doesn't have her own flaws, she is heavily ignorant in certain areas and can come if as unsympathetic towards those she doesn't like it care for like Mai.
The idea that nobara cares deeply for others is displayed throughout the series especially through her ideology and understanding of life. Nobara only has enough space in her heart to care for those that she likes and views her life as a bus ride where there are seats for people she cares for and they live life with her. She says this to yuji after they defeat the painting womb brothers and we see a clash between yuji and nobara's ideals. Nobara however states that some stuff that happens in her life are out of her control and that there are people who come in and intrude brining their own chair into her life and joining, becoming a core member of her life like yuji itadori. This ideology comes up again before her 'death' where we see her surrounded by loved ones sitting on chairs but also see many empty chairs which could symbolise how many other people she has a space to care for in her heart or how the chairs will never be filled with people considering her death.
Tumblr media
Nobara will do anything for the people that she cares for. This can be seen where she is willing to keep megumi's secret from yuji so he isn't hurt by the knowledge that it's sukunas fault for the painting womb incident or how she seems to fully want to murder mahito and says that she hates him for hurting her loved ones aka Yuji. Nobara has also been seen protecting maki and being very sympathetic towards her. Also in shibuya nobara was heavily concerned for nitta and Gojo after hearing what happened.
Tumblr media
I also love the platonic relationship between nobara and itadori. How they met for two weeks and his death had a huge impact on her or how she got violently upset at how momo was dehumanising yuji and labeling him a curse. This is also reciprocated by yuji who full on started to sob after her death, how she was one of the reasons why he was going to get revenge or how he felt guilty for having fun with Hana and thinking about how he might be replacing nobara. their platonic relationship is everything to me !!!!! And I love seeing them goof of together.
Tumblr media
That is to say that I think nobara and megumi's relationship is heavily underdeveloped on the other hand. Yes, they do have their moments but they are few to none. I admit that nobara and megumi got a chance to bond after yujis death and they seemed to do that, they also had their moments in chapter 64 with osawa and trying to figure out if yuji has a gf, megumi also trusted her enough to tell her about his theory of the attacks being sukunas fault and he trusted her to keep it a secret. However, other than that they don't have many moments which is a shame.
Tumblr media
Now there are two ways nobara's character arc could of went. Both of them could of been beautifully written if gege actually tried to focus on her, however I do prefer option 2.
She actually has a canonically confirmed death in shibuya. Nobara would be the first jjk character to actually have the "perfect death" well this is from nobara's view anyway. From nobara's view she has done everything that she wanted to do, she got to explore and do what she wanted, yes there are things that she didn't get to achieve like meeting up with fumi and saori again but most of her life she did what she wanted to do and that was enough for her. Her death can also be the first death that doesn't actually curse anyone, heck many characters died and their last words harmed a character one way or another even if nanami never intended for his death to harm yuji. It still burdened him since he took nanami's pain and he vowed to take on said burden. Nobara on the other hand only wanted yuji to tell everyone that it wasn't that bad, she had a good life that was cut at a bad time. Nobara's death also could of been a parallel to haibara and representing the death of innocence within the younger generation of Jujutsu society, her death also makes her more tragic. Nobara never got to grow up, she never got to do what she wanted to do or she never never never got to develop out of her less desirable characteristics like her ignorance and developing a better understanding of feminism. Nobara also never got to become a strong sorcerer and so much more. Her death creates a what if scenario for the readers where we know that none of it will happen because she is dead and confirmed to be so. If her death was cannonically confirmed by gege we would of also gotten a scene where all of her Jujutsu sorcerer friends actually get to have a proper reaction to it and where yuji can at least share her last words to the others. I always hated how her death was basically unconfirmed and she just ended up being forgotten about with no one including her closest friends like maki not having any reaction over it. We got something in chapter 143 but it wasn't even a confirmation and honestly didn't serve nobara any justice. Also a cannonically confirmed death would of made ch 210 where yuji is worried for replacing nobara more impactful and would of given us a proper insight to how yuni is grieving nobara's death, how he thinks thay he is being selfish enjoying himself while nobara is dead and he couldn't do anything, heck he didnt even manage to kill mahito. Also, we would of gotten a proper burial or had a little sentimental scene where Jujutsu high/ nobara's friends make a little memorial for her.
She manages to come back and joins the fight later on. Iam all for nobara waking up after shibuya and developing RCT when she needed it the most considering that in dire situations someone has developed RCT like higumara. Nobara manages to come back and considering that she didn't get the perfect death because she came back is ironic and I really like it. Now not many people know that she came back aside from a handful at the beginning like shoko. She then tries to join back with the others yet shoko encourages her to act from the shadows and just overall act from behind. Nobara witnesses yaga's death and hears about yuta being sent to kill yuji. She then decides to go and explore what the higher ups are doing and if theres a way she can help and get Gojo out. During that mission she meets Yuki tsumoko and they have a talk, nobara talks about her CT and Yuki talks about her studies of the soul. I like to think that they would of developed a mentor and student relationship with nobara being a higher up spy and sharing information to Yuki when needed. Nobara heard of the culling games and sees what's happening from the outside, she hears of what happend to megumi and tsumiki and feels bad for them. she ends up leaving the higher ups and going back to her hometown hoping that her grandma maybe left something that can help her or she can find out something by going back to her roots. She enters and goes back home, there she reunites with her parents and they tell her what her grandma was doing and the full extent to what the straw doll technique can do especially if embedded with RCT. She takes what she finds from her grandma and makes her way back to Jujutsu high after learning that Gojo has been unsealed. As she travels she meets many reincarnated sorcerers and learns from them various things like how Kenny managed to bring them back or what he plans to do or what sukuna is up to in general. With all of this information she goes back to Jujutsu high and by the time she arrives it's a day before the battle or the day of the battle. Nobara has a reunion with her friends and informs them of what she learnt. With the last finger in gojos possession both yuta and nobara half the finger. Yuta consumes it to develop sukunas CT and nobara is going to use it to weaken sukuna and attack the soul with itadori. She is also helping shoko with the injured by using a bit of her RCT. When arriving back she learns of yukis death and the truth as to what fully happend when she was gone. Throughout her journeys nobara ends up learning of different things and honestly has her views challenged many times. Her time working for the higher ups with a scar on her eye has made it difficult and she comes to understanding of what momo was talking about and learns how truly corrupt and unfair Jujutsu society is.
I love nobara she genuinely had so much potential and I hate how the narrative treats her. Heck I don't care if she is dead or alive gege could of and should of given her better than this!!!

When I say I will do my baby girl justice, I MEAN I will do her justice, and that starts with a redesign!
After Meliodas, it’s only natural to do Elizabeth. I had a lot of thoughts about what to do with her, because her previous waitress outfit was just not a vibe; gratuitous fanservice aside, those shirt ruffles were atrocious and the bright pink was kind of an eyesore. So I decided to take a bit of inspiration from her co-owner outfit and gave her a button up, a slightly longer skirt, actually matching shoes and another stocking for symmetry, and gave her a little bow to tie her hair back in! A little better suited for waitressing and travelling while still sticking to the same idea. Also a little more dignified for a princess.
I always think it’s a bit weird when a character’s eye is constantly covered and there’s no real reason for it, especially since it didn’t seem like there was anything up with Elizabeth’s eye in season 1 until she awakened her Goddess powers. So I decided to give her partial blindness in that eye, carried over from my plan for Liz who was fully blind in that eye due to an injury. Retaining scars from past lives and all that. Also gives her a little bit of a better reason to be clumsy rather than it just being for the “cutesy moe fanservice just because” gag. Clumsy ain’t sexy no matter what Lucky Star says.
Our girl deserves to be adorable and thus she shall be. I’ve always thought Elizabeth has some of the best outfits in the series but her main one at the tavern just wasn’t a vibe.
Obviously it’s not illustrated here, but I also plan some minor changes to Elizabeth’s arc and character—I absolutely adored her in season 1, eager to help however she can and prove herself worthy of the Sins’ aid (even though she didn’t need to) and I want that reflected more. You telling me this girl wouldn’t ask Ban to teach her how to stab someone just in case she needs to defend herself and none of them are around? After she tried to take King’s giant war spear to go stab someone herself? After she ripped the hypnotic bell off of Ruin’s staff with her TEETH and SMIRKED at him when she did? You are incorrect, because I know in my heart of hearts she would.
Anyway, that’s all on Elizabeth for now. I’m sure I’ll be back relatively soon with more!

on a roll i guess, in relation to the 'GW rewrite' ideas post, heres some stuff for AG which is less overall cause i feel AG would need less tuning so to speak
1.Rufus instead of the potrayal we got, is more clearly defined as a philanderer and partier thats being strung along by cornelia and her booba cause hes a dope. still, id also add the complication on him that hes clearly haunted by something and parties harder to hide the pain, which would be the pain of already having been roped into being a coconspirator in the tragedy.
2. chapter reorganization! ch4 and 5 remain where they are, but ch8 is now ch6 and ch6 is now ch7 [cornelia retreating in this versions ch6] and ch7 now being ch8. this gives a bit of a better flow to things i feel so that we arent sporadically jumping from one point to another. cornelia again retreats in ch8 and ch9 is the arianrhod fight as usual. instead of edelgard being a dope and getting thalesed so to speak cause she wasnt paying attention however, thales makes her an offer of renewing their alliance and she actively agrees out of frustration her wars going terribly and fear that she'll lose. then she hegelgards all over arianrhod and you fight her and thales killing thales in the process but losing track of edelgard who explodes all over arianrhod before disappearing.
3. ch 10, claude and dimitri form a fomal alliance to take out the empire and put a stop to this war, claude revealing that he was able to deal with an 'unspecified crisis at fodlans throat' thanks to dimitri putting so much pressure on the northern front of the empires war. now he wants to return the favor, and a plans formulated to take garreg mach and use its position to cut the empire in half. the kingdoms controlled aliell since safely escorting the arcbishop, and the only ones at garreg mach are allegedly a token force headed by the 'southern church'. ch10 sees the kingdom and alliance cut through the ohgma mountains from alliel and ch11 is the assault on garreg mach to recover it from the southern church. both of which go off with little problems.
4. ch12 we learn as to why that is, the empire is practically in shambles divided into countless smaller states all vying for dominance with each other now that the emperor is indisposed. the largest faction at the moment would be the 'aegir' faction which is headed by duke aegir whos claiming to be the regent for edelgard well she deals with an unspecified illness, all the while his troops employ weird technology and the help of mysterious black robed mages. changing plans the kindom alliance church alliance now aim directly for enbarr itself where aegirs faction is stationed. the goal being to take out aegir and capture edelgard if shes in aegirs hands. once ya get to the capital you also get some insight into whats happening there, after thales died and edelgard went plooie and disappeared at arianrhod, cornelia decided to take advantage of the situation taking control of the agarthans herself and picking up a nearly dead edelgard to use in a scheme. now cornelia basically has aegirs faction wrapped around her finger, aegir being nothing more then a patsy to take the heat well cornelia controls him through controlling an amnesiac edelgard who remembers nothing past the experiments. ch12 ends with enbarr being captured but aegir fleeing the capital with edelgard in tow on cornelias orders.
5. ch13 would deal with the kingdom heading off to pursue the fleeing aegir faction well claude stays behind to secure their back, dimitri putting his trust in claude to get things done. ch13 thus sees the kingdom army chasing after the aegir faction through imperial territory catching and killing aegir who stalls for time and delivers edelgard to duke gerth for safety. ch14 then would be the battle for gerth with cornelia taking to the field personally and finally being brought to justice, in part thanks to a timely intervention by claude with edelgard being captured and her current amnesiac mental state being brought to light. nobodies quite sure what to make or do about this, when news reaches dimitri about the most bizzare and suprising thing; nemesis the king of liberation is attacking fhirdiad
6. cornelia had one last trick up her sleeve facilitated by the remains of agartha following their defeat in gerth, and that was to sick zombie nemesis on faerghus territory to deal as much collateral as possible. dimitri and the kingdom army thus return to the kingdom capital for ch15 and the final battle, that being a confrontation on the taitellan plains against zombie nemesis and his elites, rhea and claude providing backup where they can. the ending like my ideas for GW would change depending on byleths recruitment; if not recruited then the kingdom and alliance have to spend time bringing peace back to the splintered empire territories, if byleth is recruited then like my GW rewrite ideas the continent is split between leicester and the kingdom, though on a much more friendly basis despite ongoing tension in former imperial territories.

"there didn't seem to be a wolverine/morph fandom before X-Men 97 came out, surely that means there wasn't any romantic subtext in TAS, I'm good to start writing a pre-relationship fic set during 97 before I've finished my rewatch," I said
you know, like an idiot

Stiles sits in the front row at the funeral.
He’s next to Mellisa, who hasn’t been able to stop crying since she got the news. Stiles’ dad had organized the whole thing, talking with the funerary home and picking up the coffin and the arrangements. He’d only asked Melissa what she wanted on the headstone.
Raphael had showed up the day after. For the first time in his life, he’d looked a mess, hair everywhere and clothes wrinkled as he stormed into the house asking what had happened to his son, tears already gathering in his eyes before he even got a look at Melissa’s face. Stiles hadn’t made fun of him. Stiles hadn’t said anything at all. Raphael sits on Melissa’s other side now, and she grips his hand tight enough it turns white. He hasn’t been back for five years.
God, Scott hadn’t seen his had for five years, and now he’s dead. Scott’s dead.
Stiles thinks it still hasn’t sunk in. He’s in the middle of his best friend’s funeral - it’s closed casket because his body was so mangled up that the EMPs could barely recognize him. Stiles had heard his dad on the phone with one of his deputies talking about it, before he’d realized just whose body they were talking about - and it still hasn’t clicked that Scott won’t be coming out of his casket, that this isn’t some kind of sick practical joke for getting him out of bed the night before school started.
Stiles is not crying. He hasn’t cried once since hearing the news. His dad is crying, sitting on his other side. Scott’s like a second son to him.
Was. Scott was like a second son to him. Was because he’s gone now. Because he’s dead.
Scott’s dead.
His best friend since preschool is dead. His brother is dead. The kindest, most caring person in the world is dead. Stiles goaded him into going to the preserve to look for half a dead body - and God, he’s such an asshole. A dead body? What was he even thinking? - and now Scott doesn’t even get to show his face at his own funeral because whatever killed him barely left any of him to bury.
If only he’d stayed. If only he’d told his dad Scott was with him that night instead of leaving him there. But no, Stiles hadn’t wanted Scott to get grounded because he dragged him out of bed, so he’d kept quiet. Even when he’d seen the pair of red eyes and that— that thing in the corner of his eye. Stiles hadn’t said anything. He thought they’d laugh about it at lunch the next day.
Now Scott’s dead.
Scott is dead.
And Stiles knows exactly what did it.
(He’s going to fucking kill it.)
