Sharks are population control for our oceans, they are essential to have a functional marine eco system. It'll be like what happens when you remove wolves from the forest, making deer population boom and wreck havoc, only on a bigger scale and with less wolves (sharks) left to reintroduce.

I wonder what it would be like to wake up with a sun that is pink one day. What would you do?

The world needs love now! Because climate change is killing our world. If you love the world and care for our beautiful planet. Act by recycling and eating healthy. Vote for a greener future at the polls. Do all you can to save our children's lives and our home. There is no planet b atleast not for the poor people unfortunately. Capitalism will thrive like it always does and the billionaires and millionaires will probably leave us for dead. That's why major oil companies don't care about climate change. Republicans don't do anything and democrats don't do enough. It's honestly up to the people. Be vegan or vegetarian. Honestly it's not bad I'm a vegetarian and I love eating vegetarian and might go vegan one day if I move to the city where vegetarian and vegans have multiple choices of restaurants to go to. I love Jacksonville FL! Vegan restaurants almost everywhere. 😋 also a very alive punk scene. I love punk music! Anyway let's heal the earth and do whatever we can to save the planet.

The beauty of the world is something I feel we no longer appreciate. So many people abuse the world we live in. Our environments, our communities, so many want to see destroyed and laid down in ruins?

We don’t need to save the planet, but ourselves
Just a thought about a phrase I often stumble upon. “The planet / Earth might have a future.” This is often mentioned when people talk or write about projects that give them hope, often regarding environmental issues, climate change, and sustainability.
I’m not here to destroy that kind of hope. Not at all. I just think we should reframe the narrative. Here’s why.
Yes, of course, our planet has a future. The question is: Do we have a future? What people often fail to realise is that the planet will be fine, with or without us. It might change because of us. The cynic might say, it will defend itself against the nuisance those stupid apes called homo sapiens have become, and as soon as we’re all wiped out, the planet will bloom again, thrive again, will be a place for living, thinking beings. Just without humans. But a planet is just that. A planet. It feels no need for revenge, it is not angry at us. It is just a place for chemical, physical, biological and other processes to happen. Action causes reaction. If we keep acting the way we do, the reaction will be fatal for us. Simple as that. We’ve been knowing it for years. There are videos out there with singing green dinosaurs explaining the causes and consequences of climate change, videos a three-year-old child understands.
This planet does not need our action to survive. We need our own action to survive on this planet. We need to give back to this planet for it to provide us with necessities and make it a safer place to life for us. Humans are fragile. We depend on oxygene, clean water, plants that nourish our bodies. We can only thrive in a certain range of temperature and atmosphere. We are not very adaptable. Other living beings are.
We should be more humble, and honest. We are not the destroyer or the saviour of this planet. We depend on it. We only have the choice if we destroy or save ourselves.
It is not about “Save the planet”. It is about “Save ourselves.” Or at least “Save the lifes of our children.” And maybe, just maybe, if we started talking about it that way, more people could feel a bit more motivation to join in and take action. To leave the comfort zone and face the facts. To take reponsibility. At least, for themselves, if not for others.
