Poor soul. “I thought hey, beauty! Cause y’know they’re my favourite other then the jam drop one she makes, so I was bloody stoked.” Yeah, he was still going.

Just watched The Rise of Skywalker for the first since I seen it at the movie theatre. I got this weird feeling that I needed to watch it and my Mum hadn't seen it. So I asked if she wanted to watch it but said that we needed to watch The Last Jedi then TRoS because if I was going to watch that shit show a 2nd time I needed the cute Reylo moments of TLJ.

So we watched. And I gotta say, those moments I was craving in TLJ felt less than...because I knew how it ended. Those little moments between Ben and Rey, stolen moments, were literally all they had together. And so I didn't get the joy I was looking for. I just got sadness.

My Mum was annoyed with TRoS. She thought they were trying to replicate the original trilogy and that it fell flat. She also thought it was dumb to bring Palpatine back into it. She was devo for the 20 seconds she thought Chewy had died and threatened to leave the room so I told her that he didn't die coz she couldn't wait the 1.5 minutes to learn that authentically.

And she felt like Ben was ripped off and also she was like "why'd Ben have to die? Maybe he's not really dead and she'll bring him back" and then later "He'll come back as a force ghost"...I had to try so hard not to laugh. Coz yeah, that'd make sense. But nah they just ripped him away.

Mum's hot takeaway...Rey isn't a worthy Jedi because she didn't disappear when she died at the end...and she said "he's gonna do what his granddaddy couldn't" and bring Rey back. She also thought they should have had Anakin come back.

My hot take, and I've felt this for a way. Ben really, truly, deeply and fully loved Rey. That's how he was able to brinfnher back. Rey cared for him, but it was the version of him she'd made up in her head and not the real life version warts and all. She wasn't even devo about his death...

My boy Ben deserved better.

1.5 years later, that hasn't changed for me.

My girl Robin for my girl, Ellie! No problem. She is my favourite Straw Hat, and one of my favourite characters (many) hands down.

favorite thing about them:

Aw, she’s so resilient. We see Zoro’s feral smile whenever trouble’s brewing, but Robin usually has her own quiet grin in anticipation of battles ahead, and all the gruesome scenarios she can inadvertently upset Usopp with.

least favorite thing about them:

Don’t have one. Robin’s perfect. Maybe, like Nami, Oda keeps her fairly classy (for Oda levels), but he could tone down the tit focus.

favorite line:

Dereshi shi shi (it’s sad)

I’d assumed that a fighting fish was actually a fish...

And a thousand other wee macabre reflections she utters to Chopper and Usopp’s dismay. Her silent reflection on Ryuunosuke the badly drawn dragon.

brOTP:

Law and Robin are my brotp. Really fully weirdly morbidly supportive of one another in my fanfics.

However, with the crew also.

OTP:

I like LawBin. I’ve only written non-platonic LawBin once, but I feel they click. There’s a lot of meta written on it out there. The reason why is the same reason I like them as a brOTP. I’ve written far more brOTP than OTP. She’s closer in age to him than Franky, though I like Frobin a lot too.

I equally like Frobin, and it might edge out LawBin, cos I tend to like that as a brOTP more. The ship really grew on me, and it’s a lot of fun. I write it as a side-pairing in a number of my fics, but they both have a good, easygoing, friendship with Law too.

I’ve seen Nami and Robin, which I don’t mind. Croc and Robin’s always an interesting one. I need to read more Zoro and Robin to see if I get a feel for it.

nOTP: I don’t have one.

random headcanon:

Just that Robin and Law are really, very good friends who understand each other through and through.

If anyone’s read my fics they call each other, when they’re joking around, Ohara and Flevance, but only if both are in good moods.

Likewise, they call one another ‘endling’ and ‘terminarch’ as they’re the last people of Ohara and Flevance (last is up for debate).

No-one else can do this. Robin accompanies Law to all his weird-arse hobby interests when no-one else will.

unpopular opinion:

LawBin, maybe? Though I know it’s got an undercurrent of support.

I know she hasn’t been cracking necks like crazy like she did pre-timeskip, but I still think Robin does plenty, and as she smiles when Zoro smiles; as she’s sure-footed when Law (and Zoro?) are at Zou after a “Room” transportation; as she’s so rarely truly scared (except when faced with the past), I think she’s still powerful. Hope we get to see it.

Oh, also, I don’t know about her role as the ‘mum’ of the ship. I know she’s seen as very caring with Chopper and O-Toko, and I think Oda said in an SBS that she played that role, but it also reminds me a bit of landing this role on her because she’s 30. Like maiden, mother, crone without the mythology. Not to say there are not awesome mums out there, but I don’t want it to be Robin’s default position because the character’s not in her 20s.

I’m just dreaming up these songs as I go along, but Devo’s whip it, or maybe Kristen Hersh’s Your Ghost (feat. Michael Stipe).

Nicknames: mum called me 'widdster' last night which took me a good minuet to figure out. (It's from Widdy, which comes from Iddy, which comes from Izy, which is far back as i'd like to go.) Quite like that one hehee.

Zodiac signs: Leo on a good day, sagittarius when im feeling up for it, and libra when im not looking.

Height: 9"9 (and on a steady diet of just green beans too)

Hogwarts house: When i took the test, i wanted to be in the Ravenclaw house. So i ticked a the Ravenclaw-ish answers.

Dream job: I had a dream once where I was given the responsibility of caring for a dozen or so baby hens (not chickens, but very very small, fully feathered battery hens.) When they lifted their wings, they had these sort of exposed 'book-lungs' under their armpits. (not gills. You just know what things are in dreams sometimes.) I would sit on a veradah with one of the hens at a time in my lap, and massage an ointment onto each of their 'pages'. It was actually quite a tender little experience. Would apply for again if the opportunity offered itself!

Dream trip: i've ways wanted to visit iceland or scottland :•) but what i'd love to do right now would be a little tramping holiday in nz with all me fwiends <3 oneday!!!

Instrument: i have a big beautiful wooden hoffner bass (very close to my heart), a red dinted ukulele (very close to my bookcase), a harmonica, and a dusty little piano..... it can be hard to play them all at once and have them harmonize, but theyre learning to work as a team, as am I.

Languages: all smells known to dogkind, english, hsilgne, and sharing food.

Favourite songs: Been listening to Pomplamoose's 'Be Better At Listening', The Beached Boys 'Dont Let Her Know She's An Angel' and Ought's 'Desire' on repeat alot recently :•)

Random fact: When you record your voice, others will say gee that sounds exactly like you, but it sounds really off to you. All there hearing is the soundwaves coming through the air and then hitting their eardrums. But when you're speaking, not only are you hearing those sounds coming through the air, you're also hearing it coming through your bone. So you also get to hear the low frequencies resonating around in your body.

Relating to this, Beethoven (stone deaf by now) wrote his latest string quartets (128-37) by clenching a pencil in his teeth, pressing it against the wood of the piano as he played it, and was able to wrote by this vibration alone!

Asthetic: im really feeling that dream job actually... I hope those hens are doing well.

Welcome to a weekly collaboration between FiveThirtyEight and ABC News. With 5,000 people seemingly thinking about challenging President Trump in 2020 — Democrats and even some Republicans — we’re keeping tabs on the field as it develops. Each week, we’ll run through what the potential candidates are up to — who’s getting closer to officially jumping in the ring and who’s getting further away.

Money alone can’t win an election — look no further than Beto O’Rourke’s Senate defeat in Texas last November for evidence of that. But an influx of cash can set the tone in the early days of a national campaign, as candidates jet across the country in an effort to make an impression in early-voting states.

In that respect, the numbers revealed this week by O’Rourke, Sens. Kamala Harris and Bernie Sanders, and South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg made an early impact as each demonstrated the fundraising strength they’ll need for an seemingly endless campaign. But even more revealing could be the numbers made public by candidates who have — so far — stayed mum. Meager fundraising may prompt questions about the viability of their campaigns in a field that now boasts 17.

Here’s the weekly candidate roundup:

Mar. 29 – Apr. 4, 2019

Stacey Abrams (D) In an interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Thursday, Abrams said that a decision on her political future could come as late as this fall, explaining that she is first examining a run for Senate to determine if it is “the right job that I need to hold.”

The former Georgia gubernatorial candidate also pushed back, again, on reports that she has discussed with Joe Biden the prospect of being his running mate, and said that if she does launch a bid for the White House, it would not be a “vanity exercise.”

Michael Bennet (D) Bennet revealed this week that he has prostate cancer — a diagnosis he said he received just as he reached a decision to run for president. The Colorado senator told the Colorado Independent that he still intends to run, provided he is cancer free following surgery next week.

“I’m too busy to really sit back and think about it,” Bennet said. “And that’s probably the best thing.”

This weekend, the senator visits New Hampshire and holds events in Nashua, Concord, Exeter and Dover.

Joe Biden (D) Biden and his team spent much of the weekend responding to claims that he made several women uncomfortable by inappropriately touching them or invading their personal space.

In a video the former vice president tweeted on Wednesday, he said that he has used physical touch as a way of demonstrating that he cares and is listening, but will now change his behavior.

“Social norms are changing. I understand that, and I’ve heard what these women are saying,” Biden said “Politics to me has always been about making connections, but I will be more mindful about respecting personal space in the future. That’s my responsibility and I will meet it.”

On Friday, Biden is scheduled to speak at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Construction and Maintenance Conference in Washington.

Cory Booker (D) During remarks at a Human Rights Campaign gala in Los Angeles last weekend, Booker was sharply criticalof the Trump administration’s treatment of LGBTQ Americans.

“Demi-gods in the White House and the administration are working systematically to undermine and dismantle LGBTQ rights — from President Trump’s discriminatory and un-American ban on transgender Americans serving on the military to the Department of Justice’s refusal to protect LGBTQ Americans from employment discrimination to Betsy DeVos’ failure to protect our transgender students.”

Booker visits New Hampshire this weekend, with events Saturday in Amherst and Sunday in Bedford, Londonderry and Dover.

Pete Buttigieg (D) Thursday morning, Buttigieg released a video inviting supporters to join him for an event next weekend in his native South Bend, Indiana — widely expected to be the official kick-off of his presidential campaign. He launched his exploratory committee in January.

In a subsequent appearance on “Good Morning America,” Buttigieg defended his ongoing criticisms of Trump and Vice President Mike Pence, arguing “we do need to call out hypocrisy when we see it … but we need to be factual and we need to be honest and we do, in resolving all of this disagreement, need to be decent as well.”

Buttigieg raised $7 million in the year’s first quarter, he announced Monday.

On Friday and Saturday, the South Bend mayor stops in Manchester and Concord, New Hampshire, respectively, for events, and on Sunday he is scheduled to headline the LGBTQ Victory Fund National Champagne Brunch in Washington.

Julian Castro (D) In a blog post Monday, Castro called for a pathway to citizenship for young, undocumented immigrants, arguing that they “aren’t a threat to national security” and that “migration shouldn’t be a criminal justice issue.”

He expanded on the topic of immigration Tuesday night on MSNBC, saying that the U.S. “should decriminalize people that are coming here and go back to the way we were treating it before 2004 — as a civil matter.”

“We need to end detention, I don’t think we should be putting people in cages,” Castro said. “We need to increase the number of refugees we are letting into this country.”

The former Housing and Urban Development secretary will hold a rally in Los Angeles on Saturday.

John Delaney (D) In conjunction with an appearance at the National Action Network’s convention this week, Delaney issued a “Commitment to Black America,” including increasing funding to low income schools and transforming infrastructure in minority communities, offering a tax credit to promote investment in minority-owned business and removing marijuana from the Controlled Substance Act.

Tulsi Gabbard (D) In a video posted to her Twitter page, the Hawaii congresswoman criticized Trump’s decision to allow American companies to engage in nuclear-related work with Saudi Arabia, calling the move “mind-blowing and inexplicable.”

“President Trump needs to answer this question: How does it serve our interests to help Saudi Arabia develop nuclear weapons?” she said. “It doesn’t.”

Kirsten Gillibrand (D) Gillibrand, who continues to receive questions about her role as the first U.S. senator to call for former Sen. Al Franken’s resignation in late 2017 over sexual misconduct allegations, took a stance similar to that of nearly every other presidential candidate in the wake of the accusations of inappropriate touching against Biden.

“If Vice President Biden becomes a candidate, this is a topic he’ll have to engage on further,” Gillibrand said in a statement.

Later, during an MSNBC appearance, she said that “voters will have to decide.”

This weekend, the New York senator visits New Hampshire for events in Dover, Laconia and Concord.

Kamala Harris (D) Harris raised $12 million from 218,000 individual contributions in the first quarter of 2019, her campaign announced Monday, touting that 98% of contributions were less than $100 and $6 million of the total came via online fundraising where the average contribution was $28.

Next week, the California senator campaigns in Iowa on Wednesday and Thursday, with a focus on her recently unveiled proposal to raise teacher salaries nationwide.

John Hickenlooper (D) In a Politico Magazine profile last weekend, Hickenlooper discussed the challenge of running as an “extreme moderate,” explaining that his background as a scientist taught him not to “jump to snap judgments” on issues.

“You try to make sure you get all the facts, and think it through, then make better decisions,” he said.

Friday, the former Colorado governor has an event in Montgomery, Alabama and this weekend, he is scheduled to meet with survivors of the 2015 Charleston, South Carolina church shooting and will also make stops in Okatie and Charleston.

Jay Inslee (D) The Washington governor released 12 years worth of tax returns earlier this week, with his 2018 version showing that he and his wife earned just over $200,000 and paid nearly $30,000 in federal taxes.

Inslee, who has made climate change the centerpiece of his presidential campaign, testified before the House Energy and Commerce subcommittee Wednesday where he expressed concern about the consequences of global warming and criticized the Trump administration’s rollback of environmental regulations.

Amy Klobuchar (D) Klobuchar posted 12 years of tax returns to her website Monday, revealing that she and her husband made $300,000 in 2017, the most recent year disclosed, and paid about $62,000.

Last weekend, the Minnesota senator visited Iowa, where she spoke about her $1 trillion infrastructure plan, while touring areas devastated by recent flooding. At a rural issues forum, she argued that it was “important to have a candidate from the Midwest who can talk about these Midwestern issues.

She earlier told a group in southwestern Iowa that she was “really focused on improving access to the internet in rural areas and small towns” and “want[ed] kids who grow up in small towns to be able to stay here, and they can’t do that without the internet.”

Beto O’Rourke (D) O’Rourke raised $9.4 million in the first 18 days of his campaign, he announced Wednesday, a total that resulted from 218,000 contributions, with an average of $43 donated.

At the National Action Conference convention on Wednesday, the former Texas congressman discussed the legalization of marijuana as a criminal justice reform issue and an end to both the cash-bail system and for-profit prisons. He added that, as president, he would sign a bill proposed by Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas, creating a commission to study reparations.

This weekend, O’Rourke makes his second trip to Iowa as a presidential candidate for 11 events across the state Friday through Sunday.

Tim Ryan (D) The Ohio congressman officially announced his presidential candidacy during an interview on “The View” Thursday.

Recalling a conversation with his daughter, after one of her friend’s father was transferred from an Ohio automotive plant, he said, “My daughter called me and she said, ‘You got to do something.’ And I said, ‘I’m going to do something. I’m going to run for president of the United States. We’re going to make sure this doesn’t happen anymore.'”

Ryan went on to outline his plan to the U.S. a leader in green manufacturing and argued that, as president, Trump forgot the blue collar workers he courted so hard during the 2016 campaign.

Bernie Sanders (D) In the 40 days from the launch of his campaign through the end of March, Sanders raised over $18 million, the largest sum among candidates who have revealed their first quarter fundraising totals. Aides to the senator told reporters Tuesday that the total came from 900,000 individual donations, with an average donation of $20 and that 99.5% of donations were $100 or less.

Sanders’ campaign put out a call to its claimed 1 million volunteers to host events on April 27, as it launches its organizing program.

The senator will spend the forthcoming weekend in Iowa, with events in Davenport on Friday, Muscatine, Burlington and Fairfield on Saturday and Oskaloosa and Malcolm on Sunday.

Elizabeth Warren (D) Warren captured headlines with the announcement of the Corporate Executive Accountability Act, her plan to hold company leaders liable for their firms’ potential misdeeds. Violations could lead to punishments including multiple years in prison.

On Thursday, the Massachusetts senator sent a letter to the Department of Homeland Security’s inspector general calling for an investigation into access to Trump at his Mar-a-Lago club, in the wake of an arrest of a Chinese woman who allegedly bypassed security at the club in late March.

Andrew Yang (D) Yang raised $1.7 million in less than two months across February and March, his campaign announced Tuesday, with 99% of donations arriving in denominations less than $200 and an average donation of less than $18. The campaign added that over $250,000 was raised in the last four days of March.

The entrepreneur released an ambitious travel schedule for the month ahead, with events taking him to New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Washington, D.C., Georgia, California, Nevada and Iowa before then end of April.

“What are you doing?” Aaron asked, seeing Liv bent over the kitchen table with a scrap of fabric in her hands.

“Stupid project for art and design,” Liv grumbled. “Textiles. Don’t know what I’m doing here.”

Robert looked at her. “Your length is too long, that’s why it’s getting knots.” Both Aaron and Liv turned and looked at him in disbelief. “What?”

“Since when did you know how to stitch?” Liv asked with amusement.

“Well… I’m not an expert, but my gran used to do it until her eyesight went.” Robert shrugged. Aaron still looked utterly confused. “Her wedding sampler’s bound to still be in the family. Maybe Vic ended up with it? Probably looking a bit old now, though.”

“I’m sorry, who are you?” Aaron asked.

“Fine, mock,” Robert said, rolling his eyes. “I should probably dig that out,” he said to himself.

“You don’t talk about your family often,” Aaron said, voice soft.

“Not much to say,” Robert said. “Most of them are dead or gone or don’t give a stuff.”

“Robert,” Aaron said softly, an arm around his shoulders. “Don’t.”

“It’s okay,” Robert said. “It is.” And it was. It didn’t hurt like it used to anyway. “Maybe we could visit my nan, next time we go away. Spain sound good?”

“I can go!” Liv piped up, making both of them roll her eyes playfully.

“Come on,” Aaron said. “Lets go to the pub for dinner.” No one argued, no one felt like cooking anyway.

Aaron woke up to an empty bed, and it was the middle of the night. He frowned, then heard a bang somewhere above his head. Aaron grabbed a T shirt and went into the hall, seeing a ladder leading towards the attic and Robert’s shins and bare feet still visible.

“Robert?”

“Yeah, hang on.” Robert appeared, dusty and with a heavy box that Aaron half caught as he came down the ladder.

“What are you doing at one in the morning?” Aaron asked, putting the box down.

“I couldn’t sleep and I phoned Vic earlier,” Robert said. “Apparently my nans wedding stitching’s in this box. I wanted to find it.” Aaron didn’t say anything but hauled the box downstairs anyway, putting it on the kitchen table. Robert opened the box, and there were a lot of books in there. Farmhouse ones, recipe ones. One that had his mothers scrawled handwriting in the margins. Robert hesitated over that, looking at the smudged pen marks and crossing out on the ingredients list.

“Robert,” Aaron said softly, not knowing what to say. “I can go, if you want to be on your own.”

“No,” Robert said. “It’s all right.” He rubbed his thumb over the decades old words and kept it out. He’d have another look through that at a later time. It looked like his mum had only written in one of those books from a first glance.

Robert found it, a frame at the bottom of the box. The glass had cracked, but otherwise it looked in pretty good condition, considering it’s age. “I’ll have to get a new frame for it,” he said.

“Yeah, we’ll do that,” Aaron said. “Do you want us to hang it somewhere?”

“It doesn’t really go with the house,” Robert said.

“It’s your family,” Aaron said. “That’s more important.” Robert pulled Aaron to him in a hug, kissing his hair.

“I love you.”

Its nearly 5am ive been waking up since 2am checking the time to get up to write words ive devoted my time to writing to bring through a better version of me but how car does my devotion go here i feel tired i want to go back to bed ill be ok in a few hours and a couple of words in but the constant waking up in the night isnt good i need a better way lol or the part of me that is devoted to walking will be pushed out by the tired me.

To devot your life to something and only that thing when i was young kid my parents worked the same job for years i thought how can they com here and do this every day especially my mum who worked in a factory how can she it looks so boring just cutting out seats all day long as i watched her i saw what i didnt want to do the same thing over and over again i couldn’t do it I decided it would kill from the inside, but she could do it no problem she has this ability to devote her time to this over and over things no problem.

Being devoted to someone I suppose you could say im devoted to my husband he is all i want need and desire in life but this word bring out the thought of it all your everything that you worship something which i wouldnt go as far as saying i worship him.

Some people can devote there life to something no problem i see some of these people as a bit crazy like a nun to god thats just crazy why have you got to give up well they dont give up they want to there not giving up going on but then another devotes his life to carving wood and makes beautiful thing now this I understand as devoting yourself.

I see that i am in a way devoted to desteni its my everything i live breathe the desteni process so yes im devoted to my change within this lifetime to become the best version of me.

Does this definition support me no judgement of others and what they devote themselves to i feel they waste there lives on the wrong things they have been miss guided i feel but aren’t we all and the not so sure i want to carry waking up at 2/3/4/5 am waiting to start writing.

Rant timmme

So I’ve blocked the person this is about bc they sometimes splurg on my Tumblr page and knowing me, thisd be the day that they do that.

Basically, a friend of mine from high school and I are…idk if its a falling out or if its subtle hints they dont want to know me or what. But, here is a rant dedicated to them.

So I met them in Grade 8, 9? We hit it off right away and I could talk to them about the stuff that was bothering me at the time. They were amazing and I respected their boundaries as much as they respected mine.

In Grade 9, when my mum was sick, I didnt have any friends in my class bc the school separated the three of us bc I was too distracting (the one person I did sit with was legally blind so I was helping them with stuff they needed help with, something her aide never bothered to do) and I pretty much isolated myself from everyone bc it felt like no one was on my side, especially all the teachers who failed to see my deteriorating interest and health to be anything but “its because shes fat”.

Anyway, I told this person that I was suicidal (I think I said that if God wont end my life soon, I’ll do it for him? Anyway it wasnt hinted, a went into my plan a little bit) and they brushed it off, saying that I was fine and when Mum was better I’d feel better.

Fast forward to Year 10. Still suicidal only no one was listening. Self harming now too. But thats not their responsibility.

What was their responsibility was not to become a Grade A bitch.

Throughout the year they ignored me, and caused my closet friend to burst into tears on multiple occasions. They refused to sit with us and would rarely talk to us. Another one of their friends was also suicidal and self harming, and they were taking it more seriously with them. Whenever I tried to organise something (catch up in town, meeting after school, etc) they’d always forget and either not show or show up so late and have to leave early so there was no real point in meeting up at all (I’d have to be in town at 830am agreeing to meet up at 930-10, and they’d show up post lunch and leave about an hr afterwards and I’d be stuck there until 6-7)

What really hurt was that for my 16th party, I had invited about 10 people to lunch. All but one forgot, and when I called this person they said oh I’m sorry, I forgot I’m at netball and then I’m going to other friends house. Raincheck?

So yeah. Pretty devo.

Then at our Grade 10 formal she refused to sit with us, take a photo with us, and caused my friend to, yet again, burst into tears. Two days later, we had an explosive argument and I cut contact.

When I came back from the UK (about maybe 6 months after this argument?) They wanted to catch up and I said fine.

Didnt say a word to me. Hugged literally everyone but me (they hated hugs all throughout high school and they didnt offer and when I asked for one they turned me down) and, surprise surprise, spent all the time talking to the same girl from high school.

(Side note: the other person is really sweet and I’m not shitting on them, more my friends behaviour when it came to interacting with literally anyone else but her)

So, we had a shakey online relationship forming, and when I organised a meet up in town the same things happened as they did in high school.

Fast foward to Grade 12, my 18th party. I had two, a dinner with family and friends and a day in town/sleep over with my mates (to make up for the dinner which scared the shit out of me). They forgot the dinner. They forgot the party (we called several times before I called her Mum and practically forced them out the door). Which is fine except it was my 18th, and they had done it for all bar one of my birthdays)

Then, when I came down from Melbourne I always asked if they wanted to meet up and they always forgot. That whole year was shit for a multitude of reasons, but their lack of support offline was one of the shittiest things that happened.

So, now we are in my first year of Uni. I pay for them to go to Melbourne with me (I paid accomm and I think tickets? Well i got free accomm anyway) and had planned for us to do a ton of stuff.

Didnt want to do any of it.

And just like when I went down from Melb, when I came down from where I am now, they’d always forget when we were catching up.

On top of that, I offered to let them stay at mine during a local con that happens once a year and they didnt tell me until I came down to grab them to walk them home that they found other accomm! And then didnt ask if I wanted to catch up post con or whatever.

Anyway. Last year they commissioned me to crochet them something, which I did. I finished it and we agreed that they’d pick it up at my 21st bday party.

Anyone see the trend?

They fucking forgot again. I sent the multiple messages during the lead up to the party and they still fucking forgot and then asked if I was in town the following day to drop off their blanket.

I was fucking livid. So I said no (which was the truth) and told them that I gave it to my parents for them (my friend) to organise with my parents to pick it up from their (my parents) work. (Fun fact: it still took them over six months to collect it and it was only after spamming them and threatening to sell it and then them running into dad that they did then collect it).

I also told them they needed to call me at their earliest convenience.

That was in July. Besides the messages about the blanket, I refused to message them until they called me. Which they haven’t.

I dont know I think I’ve never been an important person in their life? I mean, they forget everything and never take what I say seriously and I dont like making plans with them anymore bc I know they rarely remember. Am I being too dramatic? Or is it justified?

To be honest I’m terrified of never speaking to them again but my heart always gets broken when they forget me and even though they are super important to me, clearly I’m not important to them. And I feel incredibly shitty about that because idk…I feel like I’ve lost a lot over the past three years, especially in the friend department.

But yeah. No climax with this one, just a rant ended I suppose.

five man band trope

so if you follow @statictwins (follow it) you know my killjoy friends Krush song, static moon, static eclipse, urban devotee and star venom.

and I learnt about the five-man band trope so of course I need to fit the ‘joys into it.

the problem is our little group is all sarcastic idiots and I can’t decide on whether krush is the leader or moon.

so if you don’t know the members of this trope are:

the leader, heroic, usually manly, usually the main character and probably a mary sue but not always.

the lancer, the opposite tio the leader, if the leader is smart and stern the lancer is goofy and out there etc

the heart, you know that character who is only there to be beautiful and useless and has all the emotional baggage? that’s the heart, but basically they’re lovey and emotional and usually useless.

the smart guy, the brains of the group, not that good of a fighter but usually makes the strategies and plans to deal with the enemy, also most likely to be disabled because they can make a prosthetic.

and the big guy, there are two types of big guy, the stern angry strong one or the loving teddy bear who looks scary.

so when we take that because of lancer and leader the roles change for every leader.

if moon is leader eclipse is lancer and vice versa if devo is leader chances are eclipse would also be lancer but if krush is leader best options for lancer are devo and moon.

okay so you’re not confused a quick summary of each character:

Krush song, charasmatic, joky, confident and flirty, the typical play boy, a jack of all trades but master of none and someone who can get hurt easy but doesn’t hurt many, he’s loud and out there but gets massively triggered (the real meaning of triggered no the internet one) by bombs because he lived through the pig bomb, also the only one in thr group who has met the fabulous four but it was only for a little while, he’s reckless and stubborn and the most likely to get everyone killed by running into a scarecrow building. he’s also gay and my favourite one because he’s my main.

static moon, one half of the un-identical twins, she strategic and stern and very bossy because she loves her friends but they’re complete idiots, she is the strongest and the one who actually takes everything seriously while everyone else goofs around, she’s good at just about everything about living in the desert but she isn’t liked quite as much as krush as a leader because she’s pretty closed off, she can be playful when they’re slacking off and she’s actually the main reason krush and devo are dating... or something they havn’t really talked about it. she’s also my second killjoy and aro/ace.

static moon, @put-the-i-in-lie main one so I don’t know them quite as well, but basically moons twin sibling a sarcastic goofy idiot who is more enamoured by cats and venom than actual l i f e, they can’t fight, can’t lead and is basically there to keep everyones spirits up, the first time they drove they drove all the joys into a cactus and they collect cats. they’re agender and dating venom

urban devotee, tylers second one, the oldest in the group, a big teddy bear who mums his friends and cares for everyone, he’s a good fighter and pretty emotionally stable, he get’s incredibly flustered when krush shows him any sort of affection but is just generally a but cuddly teddy bear who will kill you if you hurt his friends he’s some sort of not straight.

and finally @brendon-urie-but-sadder star venom, I don’t know him well but from what tyler says he’s a dumb goofy lovey idiot who is barely held together by stitches.

okay so from this you can conclude that devo is big guy, vennom is heasrt moon is smart guy.

but eclipse and krush are my problem, eclipse can’t be krush’s lancer because they’re very similar and jokey, but it’s the best fit.

so I’m in pain, help me.

they’re. um. how do i say. p much nonexistent. i mean i had like “crushes” when i was younger but i don’t know how much of that was real. i could say joan jett! but there’s this girl in my course and she’s kinda punk rock and she plays rugby and sometimes i see her when i have football training bc the rugby field is next to ours and she has cool hair and she wears glasses and i might have a lil bit of a crush on her and i should probably talk to her… ye. not gonna do that

definitely anytime i listen to brazilian music it reminds me of my dad, esp. whiskey a go go by roupa nova and devo nao nego by herva doce. tbh most of the music i listen to reminds me of my dad bc it’s all the music he grew up with and sometimes when we’re together in his car and we listen to it we talk abt it so those r definitely one of my fav times. i remember when he first showed my all this music i was a little abt 10 or 9 and one evening he sat me down on lap and then we went through youtube and he showed me all this cool music like acdc and kiss and deep purple and that’s when my love of rock n roll started. shortly after that he got me my first album; it was a live album of acdc. couple of years later im listening to heart bc he just got this album and it’s awesome. u2 and abba will always remind me of my mum tbh bc they’re her fav. also the notting hill soundtrack makes me feel rly homesick and like christmas bc the first time i watched it was with my parents and my grandparents a few days before christmas and it was amazing and it’s one my parents’ fav songs. also tomorrow by gianluca bezzina makes me rly homesick for malta

19: Talk about something that happened in middle school.

so basically i was in secondary one but still technically in middle school bc of my age so i could participate in middle school sports events so we went to warsaw for a cross country meet up and i came 2nd for both the 2.5k and 3.5k and also this was the only time i ever watched a twilight movie and our girls’ team won first prize (after thehy counted the points wrong at first). i also went into a salt mine and was continously freaked out bc i hate underground spaces and the picture of me at that event still is on a wall in school (as well as the trophy somewhere) and i look horrible in it
