I cannot wait to get Lestat's backstory, how he became a siren and how he had to live before meeting Louis. I imagine he'd been alone and bored for a really long time, his only amusement coming from hunting food, creating his cavern home, and sculpting things for it; like frikkin Edward Scissorhands. It's so sad to think about.

As it turned out, Bryony was not happy to find a fire in the lobby of her building - and was more confused than anything to find who had set it. The boy had the trademark Hunter shock of red hair, but was wrapped in furs and bones. He claimed to be her son - and Bryony realised with a sinking feeling that she and Reid had not been anywhere near careful enough in the Past...

With nowhere else to go, the boy from the Past - whose name was Cassian - did indeed join the family. The addition of another bed would have to wait a little longer though.

This will remind you of two things. First the Swiss bonbon ad of a person yelling "RICOLA" or late Robin William's character Fender from Robots yelling "RICOLA" during a prominent evening. And interetingly, I think about the latter despite grown somewhat as a Swiss 😂

So the stupid acheivment badge for running a 5 star resort for 7 days appears to be glitched and not showing up but i have been playing the game two weeks in game and its a 5 star so

Onto my recommended mods for Ambitions! ⬇️

Twinsimming's Dirty Laundry Mod & Kap's Children Can: Do Laundry

Twinsimming's laundry mod adds a bit more incentive for your sims to actually do laundry! If a load hasn't been done in a while, they begin to complain about stale clothes & start getting smelly - Kap's children can series is great overall - But they specifically have a module just for laundry which means your kids can help out around the house a bit more

SimmerZoZo's No autonomous reaction to simbots

Sims dropping everything they're doing to react to a simbot (even when they've met the simbot before) is incredibly annoying when there's a simbot in the household - this mod fixes that annoyance!

Fewer Thank-You Calls for Firefighters

There are several flavours to choose from with this mod, you can disable thank-you calls altogether or choose a lower percentage chance that they will happen, either way, it makes them less annoying!

No Ghost Ambience & Scarier Ghosts

These are two mods which improve the ghost-hunting profession! The 'No Ghost Ambience' is just a small fix which makes ghosts a bit less noisy, but the 'Scarier Ghosts Mod' can cause hauntings to be deadly for your sims if they're not careful!

Ghost Catching Skill Mod

This adds a skill journal for ghost catching to the game, along with some skill challenges for your sims to complete! This feels like it should have been a feature which came with the expansion and fits in very well with vanilla-ish gameplay :)

XCAS Expanded Tattoo Locations OR Nraas Expanded Tattoo Locations

These mods both do exactly the same thing, which is allow for tattoos to be placed in more locations on your sims - which variation you go for depends on whether you have Nraas MasterController or not, I personally use the Nraas MC version but if you don't have that mod then I'd recommend the other one instead

A Sims 4 Players Guide To The Sims 3 By Simmearly

I am putting this together based on my own gameplay experiences and expectations, so some of this is purely my opinion.

I recently decided that with my new PC I would re-install The Sims 3, and All EPs, to see how it ran and play around with the features I miss in TS4,

I followed this guide on steam to set the game up to run smoothly.

To paraphrase just a little, this includes a TON of information, but basically, it shows you how to replace the launcher, and run the game on modern machines without issues.

Gameplay would not be possible for longer than an in-game week or so without the fantastic NRAAS & Lazy Duchess Mods.

I Use, Nraas Overwatch, Master Controller, Register, Error Trap & Traveller, which is my personal favorite, as it allows you to travel to more worlds for vacations, and own vacation homes in them etc. It also allows for you to move to a new town and retain relationships from the other town(s) you've lived in.

I recommend good default skin and eye replacements, as well as default replacements for Eyebrows and Beards, I Recommend Checking out @brntwaffles on Tumblr, as they have these as well as lighting mods to brighten up the in-game lighting and water!

Gameplay Mods,

I really enjoy TS3 Vanilla gameplay, so this list is short (For Now) however I do want to expand upon it, the Growing Pains Mod - adds a lot to the child stage and I feel like it integrates so well with Vanilla that it could have been in the game from the start.

Smaller Quality of Life mods,

Nectar Glass Replacements

Sim Drinks - Adds Buffs For Bar Drinks

Shop For Clothes at Clothing Rack, TS2 Style

That's it For Now, I will probably update this post as my Legacy continues, I am currently on Gen 4, and am having a BLAST!

Also - I do own quite a bit of the Store content and I have found myself using it more than expected, I bought a lot of it years ago, and I failed to realize then just how much gameplay is involved,

The Steam it up sauna is currently my favorite object due to its regenerative properties, but the Business-as-Usual industrial Oven, placed on your home lot allows for you to basically have a private chef! (Don't pay full price for any store content, wait for a sale or find it on other avenues) ;)

Edit - TIP! Reset your town using Nraas every few sim weeks to keep things running smoothly

WWDITS INSP - A Day in the Life of a Familiar

Guillermo: The job of a vampire's familiar is not an easy one. It's very dangerous--I mean, they are vampires, after all. There's different kinds of jobs that I have to do. Keep the house tidy…. Make sure there's no sunlight. "Sunlight, why Guillermo, whyyyyyy!?" Not on my watch. Getting rid of carcasses, I feel, is a big one. Being a vampire's familiar is like being a best friend…. Who's also a slave. I like being a familiar! It's a very satisfying job. Well--actually, calling it a "job" would imply that it pays. So it's more of a vocation. Less glamorous than I imagined. I thought by now I'd be like Armand, but sometimes I feel like I'm halfway turning into a Renfield. I think the worst part for me is the loneliness. I'm awake when my master's asleep, and…the house gets quiet, and it's lonely. But I'm also awake when he's awake. I'm always awake! You know, sometimes I wonder what my life would be like if I was still at Panera Bread. I'd probably be manager. I'd get to boss other people around for a change. Sleeping, health insurance, friends, getting paid, all the Panera Bread you can eat. But you know what they say: The heart wants what the heart wants!

I'd rather be a werewolf!

I thought Guillermo was a freaking FOOL, slaving away for 13 years (with NO PAY 💀) hoping Nandor would someday turn him into a vampire. Like...HUH?! Memo, you're wasting your life! You know allllll these dope werewolves who would readily take you in--you're barking up the wrong tree obsessing over vamps all day, my guy!

Memo is an expert on vampires, yet he somehow missed the memo that vampires almost never turn their familiars! 🤨 I'd've given them the middle finger and joined a wolf pack, eff those vampires. 😅

Ok, SURE, vampires are freaking cool--they're the coolest monsters by far. But being a vampire literally SUCKS! Dhampirs like Blade & Alucard have the best of both worlds, since they have all of a vampires' strengths, and none of their weaknesses--they still have all the fancy powers, but can also walk in sunlight, drink blood, and most importantly: eat regular food, bless!

Like, I remember watching Tokyo Ghoul, and bursting into tears when Kaneki-kun was desperately forcing himself to eat food, but his body kept rejecting it--that hurt me to my core. No junk food?! Just kill me.
