During Gold Morning, one of the capes controlled by Khepri had a heart attack and died of stress. In response, Khepri made Bad Canary start singing to make people feel happy. I can see two ways this happened for everyone else:

1. Paige was singing Simurgh style, just an unending drone of voice that made people less stressed because of the Master effect, thus vindicating all those who feared her over her avian theme and vocal Master effect.

2. Everyone suddenly hears the pop sensation Paige "Bad Canary" McAbee begin to sing Party Rock Anthem (or equivalent Bet song) halfway through the apocalypse and just when you think it's gonna end, she starts the song over again, thus causing people, mostly capes, to despise the song with the same hatred as is applied to All i Want For Christmas Is You.

This fandom is full of cowards why isn't Dragon / Simurgh a mainstream ship. You're telling me we all saw two artificial intelligences activated by absent father figures, one programmed to do good that resents the fact that she can't choose to do good, and one made to cause discord and destabilize the world and no one thought they should smooch? No one had Simurgh turn to Dragon to help understand herself after Eidolon died? No one made Simurgh realize that she can have desires and feelings beyond destroying humanity? No one had Dragon realize the similarities and think about how she could easily have been an enemy of humanity like the Simurgh of her creator had willed it, so why shouldn't she help free a fellow AI chained by the desires of her creators? Absolutely shameful.

they scratch a certain ich.

Many lovecraftian monsters don't fit because their whole shtick is to be incomprehensible and never actually demonstrates their power. They're just like "we're powerful, trust me bro". And many just loop around to being bland again. Generic tentacle blob #766

And a lot of regular kaiju, godzilla and his ilk, while cool in their own right, are just a bit too bland.

And of course the dime-a-dozen spike-covered "what am I looking at" sensory overload anime/JRPG/Xianxia monsters/mechs are just gross. Usually based on a normal human/animal template covered in spikes and glowy stuff to try and be original.

Funniest bit in worm was during Gold Morning Taylor got Sophia out of prison to work with her and it was kinda dramatic for one chapter before Sophia realized "oh my god Taylor is batshit insane" because the girl she bullied was walking up to the Simurgh to ask it to fight alongside them. And Sophia is the only sane person here who isn't used to Taylor's completely crazy plans and she's just like "HEY MAYBE THIS IS A HORRIBLE IDEA. WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE BECAUSE OF BUG GIRL. PUT ME BACK IN PRISON I DIDNT SIGN UP FOR THIS WHAT IS WRONG WITH ALL OF YOU" and everyone just ignores, gives her shit, and continues to drag her along on the most insane schemes ever while she's screaming in rage about it.
