i was thinking why it looks so good when vessel smiles is because his mask's eyes are squinty so it's like hes smiling so wide that he's eyes squint :::)

I love this thought so much. He's seriously this face but with 3 pairs of eyes 😁

I really love the original mask but it conveyed absolutely 0 emotion, even when Vessel painted tear streaks on it. Any emotion we got was purely from Vessel's mouth, body language, and voice. So for that reason maybe it was the eeriest of the 3 versions?

And then the second mask was made of leather and had wrinkles/folds in it that almost made Vessel look angry or like he was in anguish.

But the shape of this new mask absolutely portrays squinty smiling eyes. I'm not sure if he did that on purpose? Or if it was a happy accident? Regardless, it matches how comfortable and goofy and just how much overall fun Vessel seems to be having on stage this year.

to the last anon, yeah if you're used to Taiwanese accents, it's really clear and easy to understand actually, but if you're not it takes a second. one of my closest friends now is from northern China but when I met her I'd just spent time in Taiwan and it took time to adjust to her accent. now it takes me a second to realize if someone is speaking with a Taiwanese or southern Chinese accent, but I still find it easier to understand since I learned it first

Interesting!! Yeah since I mostly watch mainland C-dramas with dubs, Taiwanese accents always throw me for a loop 😂😭 But now that I've watched all of MonMon's videos on instagram, even I'm kinda getting the hang of it and understanding it better.

I spent a long time trying unsuccessfully to think of 5 lovely things about myself because I was trying to conceive of things other people might say, instead of things I myself appreciate, but, at long last: - I make myself laugh a lot - I make cool art stuff - I have some really trippy synesthesia experiences - Although I have a myriad of potential schemes, if I really decide to do something I generally do it (...until I decide not to do it anymore haha) - I have no great aversion to handling insects/arachnids/snakes (which is extremely useful in the tropics/Australia)

Hi Anon 🖤 I'm hoping for a lot of wholesome stories to come out of this current US tour the guys are on tbh. The only one I have so far that sort of matches this is that a girl passed out at the Dallas Ritual. III supposedly kept an eye on the security as they took care of her and got her out of the pit. It's not the same as allyship, but a show of compassion nonetheless.

If I come across any more stories like this or the pick gifting, I'll definitely share them here.

Height: 5'4″ (technically 4.5″ and I maintain that that half inch is useful)

Hogwarts house: Gryffindor, who probably comes across as a Hufflepuff and kind of aspires to be one! I just also have a lot of strong feelings about everything, get incensed about stuff, can be intense! And value courage, intellectual and interpersonal, the courage to say what needs saying, because I feel like I often lack it.

Last thing I googled: how to spell Gryffindor (two ff’s)

1. Are you staying home from work/school? Ya

2. If you’re staying home, who’s there with you? Formerly my roommate, now my parents, occasionally my brother. But it’s better than being by myself in my apartment. 

3. Do you have pets to keep you company? No pets, sadly.

4. Who do you miss the most? Any of my friends could be an answer to this question, but I really miss doing tequila shots with my improv group on Thursday nights. 

5. When was the last time you left your home? I went on a walk this afternoon while I was working from home.

6. What was the last thing you bought? The second to last episode of season 1 of game of thrones on youtube - although this will soon be my car parking payment!!

7. Is quarantine driving you insane or are you finally relaxed? For a while I was relaxed, then I was really over it, now when I go out on my walks I hear sirens through the woods. It seems like the pandemic is creeping closer and closer.

8. Are you a homebody? No, I barely spent any time in my apartment. but i loved my apartment :’( 

9. What movies have you watched recently? I can’t remember the last movie I watched! I don’t really watch movies.

10. An event that you were looking forward to that got cancelled? This improv competition 

11. What’s the worst thing that you’ve had to cancel? My whole life? My plans for love? Quitting my job? Specifically, probably this big organizing meeting my political group was going to make big plans for the coming months and years and try to make real progressive change in our community. 

12. What’s the best thing you’ve had to cancel? Going to work everyday!! My job is a lot more chill - my boss is much more communicative surprisingly. 

13. Do you have any new hobbies? I’ve been cultivating a sour dough starter and making a couple sourdough loaves - that’s been really relaxing and fufilling, just the act of bread making. I didn’t expect it. 

14. What are you out of? Store bought bread - almost eggs - we haven’t had a lot of fresh vegetables, which is sad for my stomach haha.

16. What shows are you watching? I’ve been watching a lot of competition shows with my mom... Bake Off, Making the Cut (Megan was robbed!!), Next in Fashion, and of course, GOT re-watch with @sleepanon We are almost done with season 1!!

17. What are you reading? ahahaha nothing the news twitter bullshit at 2am. I recently read half of Jane Austen’s Emma. Hopefully I’ll finish it this week. I’m in a bookclub now, but I didn’t finish the book for our discussion lol 

18. What are you doing of self-care? Mostly taking walks, baking bread, talking to people on zoom. We still do improv and games night on Thursday night, and that is sustaining me through each week. This would be really hard w/o that.

19. Are you exercising? I am running!! The other day I ran 6.5 miles by accident almost. It’s nice to see the sun, and listen to some music. I’ve enjoyed running now that I’m not in the city. But I also try to walk 3 or so miles each day - sometimes it doesn’t happen, but I’m not beating myself up about it. 

20. How’s your toilet paper supply? So far so good - I brought a bunch of emergency toilet paper from my apartment, so hopefully we don’t run out for a while. 

21. Have you made any changes to your hair during quarantine? None yet, but getting ready to shave my whole head on Sunday. I’ve been talking about it for like 8 years, it’s time!!!

Hello Anon 🖤🖤🖤 I literally don't know what to say except thank you so much 😳 I feel like I've never made anyone feral before so I'm screaming and kicking my feet 🥰

As for III's hair? I'm gonna say I am 100% sure it's straight up black. I agree that the lighting was very dim for most of the ritual, and that definitely contributed to a lot of the confusion around his hair color.

He also has an undercut now and I'm so 👀👀👀🖤🖤🖤 I'm hoping we get more clear photos of him with these upcoming rituals in Australia because damn!

TBH black is the easiest to do if he wanted to switch it up from the red he had at Wembley, if you take into account the fading color + root regrowth. He probably didn't want to go through the hassle of bleaching his roots right before an insane flight to Australia so he just went with black, which covers everything (I say this as someone who dyed her hair black for 6 years straight as a teenager/young adult).

As a side note: I would also bet money that he used boxed permanent hair dye. I can't see him re-dying it with semipermanent color every 3 weeks while on tour the next two months, unless he's literally gonna be rinsing the dye out with water bottles in alleyways behind venues 🤣

This is definitely gonna sound weird but... How tall do you think ii is? Like people constantly joke about his height and I know he's on the smaller side (in comparison to the other members at the very least), but how small is this guy??

Hey Anon, thanks for the ask, it's not too weird lol. I mean, honestly, he's not that small. I don't know for sure but I'd say he's around 5'6/168cm. So, technically, just below average for an English guy. He's just got the unfortunate luck to be in a band with two giants lol. I've seen photos of him standing next to previous bandmates he's had and they all literally look like they're average height.

The only height I know for certain (let's say I'm 95% certain because guys do lie sometimes) is III at 6'4/193cm. I've got a mock-up height chart and that old band photo below the cut if anyone is interested (no faces or names, obviously🖤)

The top of the oval over II's face is at the same pixel of his height; I left the top of the other guy's heads for comparison. Standing here he's literally normal height lol.

This is probably about as accurate as I can guess for the height. Added in a shitty mic stand and a Charvel Bass for even more comparison. If you want to play around with the heights or add yourself, the link is here.

Going through your archived material and getting a sense for just how much these guys are massive nerds behind the scenes (Vessel especially, just wow) has struck a fear into my heart that I didn't previously consider:

Given the general age demographic, interests, and time period for being chronically online teens/young adults, it's possible that at least one of the eepies (again, my bet would be on V) has a blog here.

Whether it's for lurking or a separate interest blog, the possibility of being perceived is objectively quite low but not zero.

Anyways, do with that what you will. I'm choosing to think that, if I'm right, they're just vibing with the memes and horny posting because it seems to line up with their IRL humor.

I literally don't know how to answer this, Anon 😅 Like, I don't want to freak people out but it's also a very real possibility they're at least aware of this corner of the fandom. They're in a very unique situation where they can and do lurk in certain online spaces, and I'm pretty sure a couple of them have burners for other platforms, but thankfully I don't think any of them are actively on Tumblr (thankfully).

I can tell you that they're aware of the thirsting and memes, so if they did have a problem with it, it would be stated. What they do have a problem with is fans crossing privacy boundaries or impersonating them online. That said, I know you were joking but I have been accused of being in Sleep Token or knowing them before, so I would like to take this moment to say that I am not and I do not lol. Have I been perceived by them, though? Absolutely and it's terrifying, but it's also always been my own fault 😅😩 The more I think about a certain series of events that happened the day before and day of the Phoenix ritual, the more I hope to god that none of the guys recognized me and my friends on the barricade 😨
