Joseph is kind of funny because they call him New York's Jojo in the first episode even though he's not at that point, he's a tourist and because he's throughly American in part 3 I forget that by birth he's English. And ObNOXIOUSLY English his grandmother and guardian was a noblewoman which means Joseph more than likely was given dialect lessons and educated at expensive boarding schools (I know he skipped but otherwise he says Erina kept him at home and taught him herself in that case) anyway this leads me to say Joseph at all times in Battle Tendency is speaking the Queens English but still super crass which is a hilarious mental image.
