You woke up to your alarm at six-thirty in the morning. In Sian’s bed.

You groan, rubbing your eyes as you force yourself out of bed. You can say last night didn’t go too well. You and Jungkook had different ideas on what was right and okay so you decided to just give each other some space for the night to cool off.

Which is why you woke up on your son’s bed.

You walked passed the kitchen to go to the bathroom when you saw the food Jungkook prepared for you the night before. It was exactly where he left it.

Untouched.

Jungkook was still in deep sleep, exhausted from the night before. You didn’t know whether to wake him up that you’re leaving. You did have class after all.

But you wouldn’t be going to that. The first part at least.

Of course you were going to tell him that.

Even if he wasn’t going to ask, you were still going to tell him.

Something you wished he did in the first place.

You spent the morning making lunch for your son. Then quickly got ready, not bothering to eat breakfast because you wanted to stop by the bakery after you drop off Sian to school.

Gathering your things and Sian’s lunch bag, you ran towards your bedroom.

“Jungkook,” you call out, pushing the door to your room open. He groans in response. Whatever they did last night has him exhausted.

“I’m leaving, I’m picking up Sian and taking him to school,” You tell him. He nods his head and you know he’s more asleep than awake so you just take a mental note to text him again later.

Before leaving, you run into Sian’s room to grab his backpack.

You text Taehyung that you’re on your way to his house and he replies that the kids were awake and eating breakfast already. You're thankful that he was being responsible with the kids. Making sure they were up early, getting ready for school. But you weren’t surprised, Taehyung almost always knew what to do. With the kids at least.

You check the time, you were going to miss part of your lecture if you’re the one to take Sian to school. But you didn’t mind. You were actually very excited to take him. It was your first time ever since he started school. And you actually had friends to ask for notes now. You made sure to let them know your situation as well and they were more than happy to send you the notes after the lecture.

Other than you and Jungkook’s situation, at least some things were going okay. You knew deep inside that everything will work out later on anyways. Maybe by tonight, you and Jungkook will have things settled.

Everything should be okay.

“Hey!” You say as Taehyung opens the door for you with Mingyu in his arms. “Good morning baby Gyu~” You say, taking little Jimin from him. “Where’s Sian?” You ask as Taehyung steps aside to let you in.

“In the bathroom, him and Youngjae are brushing their teeth,” he says. Taehyung got the kids their own toothbrushes for whenever they slept over. Since they spend a lot of time at Taehyung’s place, they all have extra clothes and everything. This is why uncle Taetae is the best!

“Good morning,” you say as you walk up to the open bathroom door. Both boys turn to look at you and Youngjae waves, saying good morning back while Sian’s eyes get big at the sight of your face.

“Mommy!” he yells stepping down from the stool he was on. Jimin comes up from behind you, reaching for Mingyu. Mingyu does the same, stretching his arms for his dad.

“Aigoo~ Good morning my baby,” Jimin says, carrying Mingyu away from you, peppering his cheek with kisses. He looked like he just woke up.

“Mommy you’re here!” Sian says, hugging your waist.

“Yeah I’m taking you to school today!” You tell him, kneeling down to hug him properly. “Where’s daddy?” He asks you, looking behind you for Jungkook.

“Daddy’s at home, he’s tired so I’m the one that’s taking you to school. Is that okay?” You ask your son, Sian nods his head enthusiastically, jumping into your arms.

“Yes~” He says as you carry him up. Youngjae was still washing his face over the sink, you walk over and ruffle his hair.

“Hey buddy, we’re going to go now okay?” You tell Youngjae. “You and Sian can see each other again later.”

“Okay bye auntie! Bye Sianie~” Youngjae says, waving to the both of you.

“You can keep my toy car for now,” Sian says as you walk away. “I’ll get it when we play again!”

“Okay!”

Jungkook finally got up, it was late. Very late. He grabbed his phone to check the time but was distracted because his lockscreen was flooded with messages.

He clicks on one of them.

Without any hesitation, he got up and out of bed, heading straight for the bathroom to quickly get ready.

After fifteen minutes or so, Jungkook was heading out the door.
