I have a Lilly tattooed on my arm. It’s a pretty flower and it reminds me of my recovery, because they bloomed at the center I was in. However, a couple months later I realized that I’m an idiot and straight up forgot what my favorite flower was (I don’t regret the tattoo lol in fact I’m getting one to match)

My favorite flower is the grape hyacint (blauwe druifjes). I have this memory of me being sick at like age 8 and my mom nursing me back to health with San Francisco cookies and tea, and at the end of the day she gifted me a little pot of those flowers. I loved them, they were my flowers and now they are my favorites :) I’m getting a tattoo of those too, hopefully soon

But the other tattoo that I already have planned is of an amaryllis flower. They look a lot like Lilly’s, therefore I think they’re pretty, but they are also the only flower that I mentioned in my book. It doesn’t take up any meaning tbh, but I love to have a reminder of my book on my body, because it’s been a part of my life for like 8 years and I will never forget it. It lives in me. And I’d love to show that
