Did You Know: Nurarion the Perfect possessed a voice that could kill with a whisper? He reportedly only shouted twice in his life, once to save his homeland of Sunhold, and once at the end of his life to pour years of unexpressed rage and sorrow into a crystal buried underground.

Kindof an old wip this one too, used to fix in my head the relationship between Charybde and his father, head of the clan and main Captain, Agamemnon.
More lore below v
In between, I changed a few aspects;
- Agamemnon is a Leviathan, this terrifying breed of Maormer that are half-beast in demeanor. He his extremely large, robust and lethal, but he has a very wise and kind demeanor to his people.
- Due to his very old age, Agamemnon acts with his clan like all of them are his children. It is, in fact, half-true; he has 36 of them, equal in daughters and sons. Being ~800yrs old some of those 36 children have their own lineage now.
- Charybde is the last, the dearliest of them. Born of true love instead of necessity (females pick their males when wanted and needed), Charybde has a special place in his father's heart, so dear he chose to never have an other spawn if it's not with his adored wife, Cérulée. She left, chosen by Orgnum himself to be part of his crew, and Agamemnon respected this decision. Charybde shall be the last.
- Due to his position as both Captain and simple male, Agamemnon usually has few but kind interactions with his spawns. The clan organizes to raise children all together - except for Charybde, that Agamemnon raised partly himself.
- Charybde being half-blood with such a strong and powerful breed, he grows fast, looks intimidating although he's still a child... and many, many expect of him things he's scared he could never atteign.
- Charybde is a sweet person with his kind, and he admires his father for the calm, the cleverness he shows at all time. It would be easy to figure this monster of a maormer to be prompt to rampage, but Agamemnon's taste for violence is as developped as his taste for subtility. With so many spawns, parenting became a second nature.
- Agamemnon is at first a war machine that grew terrifying by how responsabilities shaped in him such an ambivalent temper. Foes fear him and his crew, where each mer answers as one and respect is absolute for the Captain. The Captain is loyal to his mers, careful, just, but shows barely no pity for foes that do not respect their own men first.
- Charybde his a snake-caller by birth. Something that had disappeared in the Torve-Augure clan - the last being his father. Being a snake-caller means you share a natural strong bond with those forces of nature. Agamemnon has a twin snake brother called Adale, a forever hungered beast so colossal it has to eat whales. Charybde has one with a much smaller snake called Scyla, a sea viper, which he loves as his twin sister. Their bond gives him magical surges and snake aptitudes like molting his skin.
- Agamemnon has been to war for long centuries. The last assault on Sunhold gave him a large scar that his snake powers never truely absorbed. He's slowly dying, Adale being tortured by the slow decay of his twin brother and soulmate. Adale's specie is not supposed to survive this long, they keep growing as they feed and their appetite fits their length. Without Agamemnon raiding isles and going on front, Adale lacks food, his nature of a predator becomes a danger for maormer themselves. Charybde is expected to commune with Adale, but Adale is obsessed by its hunger.

How about 16 (but Elder-Scrolls-ified), 29 and 41 for the ask meme?
Helloooo there! Going to write up stuff for Joshi (Teldryn) :3 16. do they prefer taxis / buses / subways, etc? or none of the above? Or in Tamriel, does the Nerevarine like riding on horseback, taking a carriage or walking? If he can help it, he'll try to take a carriage or silt strider (when on Vvardenfell). He suffered a serious injury to his pelvis during the final assault on Red Mountain which left him unable to fully swing his legs outward. So he can't ride any mounts, and he refuses to sidesaddle anything so that just leaves him with walking. He's going to choose the back of a carriage 9 times out of 10. I will point out that he hates boats.
29. is there something they’d like to change about themselves physically? He wants to be rid of his Corprus Disease, all of it. Yes, he'd happily be rid of the scars, he'd love to have those parts that he is now missing returned. He wants his heart to beat normally, to taste food again and he wants to be severed from his connection to the hive so he can sleep. He'd give anything to be back to normal, but that equally means that he also gives up the so called 'positive aspects' of his curse. He would give up functional immortality and the superficial agelessness it's left him with given the chance. That and getting rid of that ring. He almost cut his finger off trying to achieve that....not that it worked.
41. where would they want to live if they could live anywhere? why?
Josh is most fond of sunny places by the sea. He's lived in both Sentinel and Sunhold and he'd go back to either of those places in a heartbeat. Though the political climate being what it is in both provinces, he's less inclined to make that switch. He prefers to live by the water at any rate, he likes the sound the waves make as he falls asleep.

Eldanamir (The White Knight)
-------------
The history of my Skyrim character Eldanamir.
Tumblr media
-------------------------
Fandom: Skyrim
Warnings: 18 (Adult!), mentions of half sibling incest, abusive father, death of mother, death of spouse, and mentions of stillborn child.
Additional Tags: Angst, hurt, tragic character upbringing, eventual romance, and happy ending.
Note: If any of the warnings bother you, please don't read it. I don't want to make any one uncomfortable with this character.
Note 2: This is a tragic character with a character arc and tragic backstory.
Note 3: This is only the backstory of this oc, I haven't written an entire story on him yet. I wanted a fleshed-out backstory before investing into a story. I made him years ago and only now made a full backstory, there will be plot holes and mistakes that I will fix in the future.
-------------------------------
Character backstory:
Eldan was born in Shimmering, Summerset on the 15th of Midyear, 3E, 115 to Tahneila a commoner and Venador a noble. He grew up in Shimmering. Raised by his single mother, they lived in the poorest district and barely got by most days. Venador left Tahneila when she got pregnant because it would have been bad for his reputation as a noble and pure-bred mer.
The young Altmer raised her son on her own as the best she could, leading by example and praising him on things a many. From a young age, Tahneila could tell her son was different. He preferred to be well dressed in jewels and often played with the Altmer girls. Even going as far as to asking for a doll for the holiday season, Saturlia.
She worried for his safety as an Altmer. The council often frowned upon different children. Especially ones that weren't straight. Tahneila kept her son's affairs quiet and told him to keep secrets too. He was oblivious to his likes, until he met an older Altmer boy and he fell hard.
Tahneila played it off as child play and not a crush, as to not draw attention to her son. He was only five, surely this would pass in time. Though over time, it didn't ease, he had crushes on boys all the time.
By the time the War of Red Diamond came, Eldan's mother had signed up for the war. She wanted to be a good example to her son, plus soldiers were paid good coin. She saw it as an opportunity to give her son a better life, unfortunately, what she got was quite the opposite. She lost her life in the battle instead, leaving her an elfling an orphan. He was only seven at the time of her death.
When the news finally came to Shimmering, Eldan was devastated. That same week, the council put a price on the house and Eldan was forced to live on the streets. He had nothing, but a straw doll and his mother's pendant.
About two months had gone by before Eldan ran away from the intense bullying. He ran for days until he ended up in Sunhold. He lived on the streets for another two months before being caught stealing an apple from a troubadour's cart. Troubadours who eventually became his adopted parents.
Talia and Anaedor took Eldan in without hesitation, they were nurturing, loving, and so gentle. Talia reminded Eldan of his own mother and he bonded with her immediately as for Anaedor, Eldan had never had a father, so getting used to another male in the family was difficult at first, but then he warmed up to his father figure and they bonded just as quickly.
Eldan was raised by the couple for seventeen years before being taken away by his biological father, Venador. After he caught wind of him in Sunhold, Eldan was forced to Alinor to marry his half-sister. An almost perfect Altmer in his father's eyes. Venador found out about Eldan's immense knowledge of magic and wanted his infant grandchild to bear magical power. His daughter lacked good magical skill so two of his children could make the perfect child. Or so he thought.
Eldan wanted no part in this scheme, but he had no choice whatsoever. Eldan and Eliana married the second they got back to Alinor. Their father often checked on them, asking if they had conceived yet. Eriendal, Eldan's stepmother was sick. She hated every part of this idea, but her husband didn't care and said she had no choice anyway.
It was hard for Eldan to perform; equal parts being sickened by the fact that this was his half-sister and the other fact being he wasn't into women sexually or romantically for that matter.
When Eldan turned twenty, he finally managed to get Eliana pregnant with her help. She hired a male consort behind Venador's back and was able to help Eldan perform.
Nine months later, disaster struck. Eliana birthed a stillborn girl and ended up dying from internal bleeding. Eriendal was crushed and Venador was infuriated, he cursed his son for being useless to him and killing his beautiful daughter and perfect grandchild. Eldan did blame himself, if he wasn't cursed, he could have had a better outcome. Venador committed an atrocious act and left his grieving wife behind. She was heartbroken, but never blamed Eldan. In the few years she knew him, she loved him as a son.
In her final moments, she rewrote the family will and gave the inheritance to Eldan. She passed a few days later from a broken heart. Eldan alone again, gathered his belongings and the write of the will and headed out. He joined the Mage's Guild and focused on his magic. He didn't want to think of his life tragedy and he certainly couldn't return to Talia and Anaedor with the shame in his heart. He never told them, maybe they knew and loved him anyway or maybe they would have been disgusted and kicked him out. He may never know.
He decided to cut all contact with them and vowed from that day, to never grow close to someone because he would only end up losing them anyway.
Eldan studied magic for many decades, gaining all kinds of knowledge. Then he ran with pirates for many years. Before fighting in the Oblivion Crisis in the Second Aldmeri Dominion saving Summerset from the daedra as he was led to believe. He was dubbed a hero like the rest of the Thalmor. He had risen in the ranks quickly and became a general within a year of joining. For the years to come, Eldan was a general in the Aldmeri Dominion. Then by the fourth era, he noticed changes in the army, changes he wasn't fond of. He was a stone-cold bastard, but even he knew corruption when he saw it. Politics became more involved and eventually, The Thalmor fully took over. A corrupted group of know it all's.
Then the war Night of Green Fire broke out in 4E, 42. Eldan broke off from the army, when he was questioned why, his choice of words being, "I'm loyal to the Dominion, not the Thalmor."
He helped as many refugees as he could during that time and a lot of casualties played out. Many Altmer died by the hands of the Thalmor. At the end of the war, Eldan was imprisoned and eventually was exiled from Summerset for his extremist views.
He moved to Skingrad, Cryodiil and resided there for many years. Before moving to Bruma, Cryodiil and remaining there until the year of The Great War.
Eldan fought in both the Great War and Battle of the Red Ring against the Thalmor, formally known as the Aldmeri Dominion. He fought with the Empire, and they saw victory. Eldan had years of magic skill and melee skills by that point and the Thalmor stood no chance against him. He wielded a bound battle axe and wore his silver armor that he used in the Oblivion Crisis years before.
In the year 4E, 175, Eldan leaves the Empire after the signing of the White Gold Concordat and returns to Bruma to live, until 4E 201 where he travels to Skyrim and his true destiny is revealed.
He met Rumarin on the 14th of Hearthfire, 4E 201. Little did Eldan know; he had met the young mer years before when he was only a child. Later did Eldan learn, Rumarin was the biological child of Talia and Anaedor. He only found this out after falling deeply in love with him. Eldan vowed to never get close, but Rumarin was persistent. Eldan eventually gave into his feelings, and they got married.
-------------------------------------
Get to know Eldanamir (The White Knight) The Dragonborn:
Eldan is 518 years old during the time of Skyrim and stands at 7'3" in height. He's seen many battles, lived many wars, and is magically inclined by anyone else in Tamriel except Neloth.
He uses bound weapons as his choice of weapons. He uses them exceptionally well, he's proficient in every tree of magic and melee. He's a powerhouse and knows it.
He's quiet, standoffish, cold blooded, stubborn, and insecure.
He doesn't feel pain much anymore because of everything he's been through, so pain is just a tickle to him now.
Eldan's greatest fear, he says it's commitment, but it's really abandonment.
He's a stickler, everything annoys him, and he gets angry easily. He starts unnecessary brawls at taverns all the time.
When he meets Rumarin, he grows softer eventually and his cold shell cracks bit by bit.
By the Skyrim end game, Eldan is a fresher version of himself and non-recognizable. He's married to Rumarin, living in Lakeview manor with their adopted elfings and is actually happy again. Something he hasn't felt since his childhood when his mother still lived.
By end game he's compassionate, kind-hearted, patient, and charming.

so...... i have a muse related question for y'all! specifically, regarding which muse you would see added / which one you'd like to interact with!
OPTION 1. add celegil windsinger to my roster. she's a bosmer, with considerable antler-horns protruding from her head. she's also a werevulture. one important thing to note about her is she is of short stature (approximately 3'4" / 100cm), thanks to a congenital disorder (the umbrella term being dwarfism), and this has resulted in a sense of fiery feistiness! it was fine in her community in valenwood, they were family, they understood. but, as she endeavoured to research the dwavern airship designs and construct one of her own, it led her out of her province. people who didn't know, didn't understand acted out, spoke ill. while she was hurt initially, she developed a hard and staunch sense of, almost, ornery bite to her. she will come for your knees. she's not above getting down and dirty.
OPTION 2. add volcalov (aka. volcalov of sunhold. aka. volcalov the face-devourer.) to my roster. he's a weak, old, feeble altmer that feeds off of the youth of others to sustain his ego and vanity. vampire, you may think? no! a skin-stealer! a necromantic subdivision which permits him to "steal" the form of another, thus also extending his life bit by bit, body by body. it doesn't stop the aging, no, but it does prolong it. volcalov is very eccentric; odd behaviours, odd vocalisations, exceedingly bubbly combined with his salient morbidity ... just a weird lil dude! oh also he's an awful person, generally speaking!
OPTION 3. add both to my roster. like a mad lad.

Holding hands under the table for Elyden and Miraak?
Yesss hands!!! (Sorry for taking longer to answer, week has been crazy </3)
Prompt from here! <3
-----------------------------
Elyden's smile faded as soon as the mutual left the table, fading off into the dense tavern. He took a shaky sigh and leaned his back against the wall, trying to steady his pounding head. It should've been easy for foresee this, but Elyden didn't realize how absolutely high-strung he was now.
Both he and Miraak went to a tavern during the rush hours to get Miraak more used to crowds again, as if Elyden himself wasn't more of an introvert. It's been a while since he went into any sort of highly populated area and the whole time he was terrified people would recognize him as the dragonborn. He knew that he looked pretty darn different before being dragged into Solsthiem, as if that would quell his anxiety.
He swore that everyone was looking at him. Was he dressed weird? Did he dress too similarity to before? Was his hair the same? Was his face too recognizable? Was his voice not scratchy enough? Was his speech not different enough? Everyone whispered around him and it stank of cidery yeast.
"Miraak?"
"Hm?" Miraak let down his mug of some kind of fruity ale, perking a brow at Elyden. Seemingly unaware of the bubble threatening to burst. Or he was fully aware and decided to not speak of it. It was hard to tell with the man.
"This is stupid but," It was stupid, Elyden was already well into his three-hundreds. He should be able to handle crowds already, he was born in Sunhold for Divines' sake! "Nevermind. Forget about it...How are you holding up?"
Guessing from his neutral expression, Miraak seemed to be perfectly alright. Miraak was horrible at hiding his feelings without the mask on, but Elyden felt that talking would help his nervous stomach. His nerves shook his hands, so he instead made himself play with his braid that Miraak did for him. He already ate so there was nothing else for him to do.
"Tired, but I missed this." Miraak gave a hint of a smile, his freshly human skin still sensitive to the subtleties of emotion. He looked back at the dancing crowd around a group of bards belting about a red-headed man. The tavern was a decently sized building with a large chandelier hanging over everyone that looked as old as him, but nearly each floor space was taken and everyone had to share their tables. "It's nice to see people happy."
Elyden felt some pride swell in him as Miraak casually told a waitress thank you for taking their empty plates. He remembered a month ago Miraak just standing still and frozen in a ghost-town of an Inn. "I'm proud of you, you know that?"
Miraak perked up a bit, before offering the rest of his ale to Elyden which he graciously took. It smelt like his cologne that Miraak likes to use; the misty spice one as it apparently reminded Miraak of his time before Apocrypha.
"Now, what did you want to tell me?" Miraak placed an elbow on the table and rested his slightly sagging cheek on the fist to look at him more properly. Which also helped to block out parts of the crowd for him as Elyden was to the wall and Miraak to the edge.
"No, no, I'm fine. It was a dumb request anyway."
"Don't say that."
Shifting on the wooden bench he planted himself on as securely as one could to a tree to a slab of concrete, Elyden tried to not focus on the increasing volume of drunk singers and chummy people who wanted to be friends with everyone from how rosy their cheeks were. Divines, he wanted to vomit.
"Can I hold your hand?" The elf managed to mutter out, not looking at Miraak directly as he didn't think he could handle whatever the man thought of him now. Stupid, stupid, stupid...
"Okay."
"What?"
"I don't mind at all, in fact we can do it under the table if you want. So that no one can see." Miraak's free hand ghosted next to Elyden's by his left side. It seemed hesitant, but patient.
Elyden gently took it as if it was fragile, even if he could see visually from the old scars from snatching onto a sword's hilt that it was anything but a vase. But he also knew from the long, well practiced, slender fingers that Miraak was an artist. This much he knew as Miraak still recalled how to play a lute and paint even after all of these years. Good hands that he felt safe around to depend on.
They were warm, but not too warm like undead tried to give the illusion usually did. It was a natural warmth of a person, something that Miraak always had even after being fresh out of Apocrypha.
Elyden rubbed his thumb against one of the knuckles, leaning his head as light as a feather against Miraak's shoulder. Miraak rested his head against his, even with the difficulty of Elyden being decently taller than the atmoran.
"Thanks." He whispered.
"Anytime."

The Thalmor in Valenwood
Originally posted in r/teslore in response to the question: "In TES: V Delphine mentions that Wood Elves have as much reason to hate the Thalmor. What reason does Wood Elves have to hate the Thalmor?"
Delphine doesn't actually say that the Bosmer in general have reason to hate the Thalmor, just that Malborn does.
Don't worry about Malborn. He's not a dangerous character like you, but he hates the Thalmor at least as much as I do. He's a wood elf - the Thalmor wiped out his family back in Valenwood during one of their purges that we never hear about.
The other source we have on the fate of Malborn's family is J'datharr's Note, written by Elenwen or one of her subordinates:
Malborn is not his real name - he's now been identified as a survivor of a family of traitors who were all believed to have died in a fire in Falinesti.
And from those facts spring a thousand fan theories.
I think fans over-estimate Bosmer discontent with the Dominion. To begin with, the Dominion was brought about by an allliance between the Altmer Thalmor and certain Bosmer factions.
The Great War says:
In 4E 29, the government of Valenwood was overthrown by Thalmor collaborators and a union with Alinor proclaimed. It appears that Thalmor agents had formed close ties to certain Bosmeri factions even before the Oblivion Crisis. The Empire and its Bosmer allies, caught completely off guard, were quickly defeated by the much-better prepared Altmer forces that invaded Valenwood on the heels of the coup. Thus was the Aldmeri Dominion reborn.
Lathenil of Sunhold offers up a more-detailed analysis of how Valenwood was taken by the Thalmor in Volume IV of Rising Threat:
Before my efforts could come to fruition, the Thalmor struck: another coup, this time in Valenwood. The Empire was not prepared for the Thalmor's subterfuge and stratagem.
There are those who claim the combined Altmer and Bosmer forces greatly out-matched the Empire, but this is a farce. This short, savage campaign was won by the Thalmor even before first blood was drawn. They waited and watched their enemy, they chose where and when they would attack. The Thalmor were able to bring the full fury of their small contingent of Altmer and Bosmer to any of several Imperial strongholds.
Contrary to the posturing of the Empire's generals, the Thalmor did not command greater numbers. They had better spies and greater mobility, and knew how best to use them. This is the menace that the Thalmor represent! They are cruel and merciless, but they are no fools! They are devious and subtle, and so very patient.
So, Lathenil agrees that there were Bosmer members of the Thalmor take-over.
I think that there are two pieces of evidence for Valenwood being way more pro-Thalmor than a lot of fans imagine. One, the Dominion's successful takeover of Valenwood was a huge surprise to the Empire, and the short war against the Empire to take Valenwood was won without tons of Dominion troops. That suggests the populace was pretty ok with what was happening, though it's likely they just didn't care one way or another.
The second is that in the run-up to the Great War, the Thalmor were able to kill every Blades agent in Valenwood and send their heads to the Imperial City as part of the 30th of Frostfall Surprise. They were able to take the Empire by surprise with an attack from Valenwood territory into Colovia. That level of counter-intelligence and control isn't something you'd expect in a territory with lots of resistance to the Thalmor.
Malborn's family possibly dying in a purge doesn't say much about the general Bosmer population's issues either. Because there were purges in Summerset itself. To quote Lathenil again,
They overthrew the rightful Kings and Queens of the Altmer. I remember the revulsion and horror that took hold when word reached me - that this dementia had gripped my homeland. Once so proud and majestic, many of our great race actually embraced this insanity! Then the first of many pogroms descended on Summerset Isle. They slaughtered any who were not "of the blood of the Aldmer." A fine excuse to purge the dissidents, as well - the Thalmor have never been ones to waste such an opportunity.
and from The Great War, regarding the years after the Dominion was incorporated.
Shortly afterward the Aldmeri Dominion severed all contact with the Empire. For seventy years they were silent. Most scholars believe there was some sort of internal strife in Alinor, but very little is known of the factional struggles that went on inside the Dominion while the Thalmor consolidated its power in Summerset and Valenwood.
The Thalmor hunted down refugees from the Dominion and half-bloods in Sentinel (per Fasendil and the Keyes' books) and Balfiera (per Keyes).
But we don't conclude from those suggestions of mass bloodshed that the Altmer en masse hate the Thalmor, so why should we think that of the Bosmer?
The average Bosmer could have an entire range of opinions about the Thalmor from hating their guts, to not caring about them one way or another, to thinking them the saviours of mer. And we have almost nothing to tell us what the popular mood is right now in either Valenwood or Summerset.
ETA: One other data point if you're interested in Valenwood under the Dominion. There was an Imperial-funded rebellion there at the time of Lord of Souls.
It’s much worse in Valenwood—our supplies are no longer reliably getting to the rebels there. Sixty were caught and executed last week, along with four of our own men. There’s a leak we [the Penitus Oculatus] don’t know about, someplace. They know too much about our movements.
That's as of 4E 48, no indication of how serious and expansive a rebellion it was.
Second comment.
One other source I had at the back of my mind but couldn't find last night. Summerset was funding at least one Bosmer tribe during the War of the Blue Divide in 3E 396:
During the black year of 396, when the Parikh tribe began their rampage through southeastern Valenwood with the aid of powers from the Summurset Isle, Lady Benoch fought the futile battle to keep her tribe's land.
Words and Philosophy
The general account goes straight from Summerset and Valenwood at war with each other in 3E 396, to the Dominon being founded in 4E 29, with no hint of how any common ground was found in between. So, the fact that Summerset had an alliance with at least one Bosmer tribe even during the war is really interesting. Certain parties in Summerset were already scheming with certain parties in Valenwood, maybe not the same groups that would unite in the Dominion, but the Bosmer weren't united even then.
Another follow-up comment
Understanding the Thalmor coup in Valenwood begins with knowing Valenwood's terrible position under the Empire. The Pocket Guide to the Empire, an official Imperial publication that tried to be optimistic in nearly all its other sections, had nothing positive to say of the later Septim Empire's presence in Valenwood, characterized Valenwood as a failed state, and warned that there were signs of some upheaval coming.
Current Events: The political weakness of Valenwood has been evident for more than twenty years now, and the Bosmer seem resigned to this state of affairs. The land is considered by most to be a mere geographical designation without any political purpose. If there is honor or pride, it is with one's family or clan. National feeling, never strong, seems to have died. The tribal council has not met in decades. Valenwood appears to be adrift.
And yet there are signs of other forces stirring. The Wild Hunt has been sighted for the first time in over five hundred years, although to what purpose is not yet clear. Falinesti, the "walking city" of trees, has rooted itself for the first time in recorded history. A new Bosmer prophet has arisen, known only as the Precursor, who preaches that the old Forest God Y'ffre is returning with new gifts for his favored people. Whether these are isolated events, or signs of some great change coming to Valenwood, remains to be seen.
Was "the Precursor" related to the Thalmor spies and allies within Valenwood, possibly? Or are they separate, but manifestations of the same spirit of unrest?
Anyway, there definitely have been Bosmer who oppose the Thalmor in Valenwood, but there are also Bosmer who supported it and they have been very important to the creation of the Aldmeri Dominion.

corentin, hair
rashkan, day
All right, here you are, hair and day as ordered :D
hair: How does your OC wear their hair? Does it have some kind of meaning?
Corentin has long, silver hair he typically wears in a braided ponytail. Although not as windy as his mother's ship or Sunhold, Alinor is still rather breezy most of the time and Corentin doesn't want his hair to get in his face. He'd never cut it off though. In fact, it's only been cut once when he managed to get paint in his hair…
day: What does your OC wear on a normal day? Why do they default to those clothes? Do they wear similar things, or do they change it up?
Rashkan usually wears a simple but elegant mage's robe (preferably red and preferably made of velvet), a set of pants that's as comfortable as possible because who's gonna see? (If he's wearing a short robe, he puts on his fancy pants.) He wears a simple tundra cotton shirt under his robe (think your typical pseudo-medieval shirt with neck shirring). Other than that there's underpants, knitted socks and some old but well-kept leather boots.
If he goes outside, he usually wears a black/greenish feather shawl over his shoulders—more for ornamentation than practical use.
Rashkan's clothing is simple but more elegant than your average college mage's. He cares a lot about keeping up appearances.
Rashkan doesn't have many articles of clothing and most are just different robes. You'll rarely see him in something below knee-length, let alone shirt and pants.
