OMG, so Today a simply awesome idea for AU came to me in a dream.

AU IDEA: Temeraire's egg is NOT intercepted by the British. Basically, the two ships never meet. The egg is safely escorted to France and Temeraire (obviously under a different name) becomes Napoleon's dragon and grows up in France. But fate is unyielding and Lawrence is still destined to meet Temeraire one way or another. Discuss.

Or recommend me a fic where it has already been written - I am desperate to read it XD!

Los Angeles Fire Riders

I wrote a short Temeraire AU fic - aka 9-1-1 but with talking dragons - for 9-1-1 March Madness.

Looking back, Evan Buckley should have known that joining the Fire Rider Academy would be just his thing: lots of adrenaline, the prospect of an important, fulfilling job and last but certainly not least: dragons.

It's rated mature because I included the therapist Buck goes to in season 1. For a more elaborate warning see the notes at the beginning of the fic.

oh my god the like. modern history university students moaning and complaining about their assignments and "how am I supposed to remember where this guy went first he's been bloody everywhere!" and joking about blaming all world events in the past 20 years on Will Laurence because it's like a 50/50 chance and there's all these heated classroom debates about whether he made the right choice because he was preventing war crimes or whether he's a dangerous terrorist who should be in prison and then somebody points out like "I mean he's on Twitter, see he just posted about the swallows nesting in his shed, his husband trains birds" and they're all "he's GAY???"

Granby in a cemetery au? Tell me more tell me more 👀

Cemetery/ Be Ware of Dogs AU (pretty much a Deep Fog au so far) A child Granby encounters Something deep in the coal mines where his family works. It frightens him deeply and he refuses to go back into the mines. Many many years later Granby is on his own and works as a cemetery grounds keeper for a lumber town very very far away form where he grew up. Granby inherits Iski, the Rize Koyun 'dog', from the previous grounds keeper. Something strange is going on in the woods surrounding the cemetery and town however, perhaps the towns folk are cutting too deep into the forest (just as in Granby's youth the miners dug too deep) and a creature simmiler to the one Granby met all those years ago might just be lurking in the pines.

(Little is some form of exorcist, though he no longer practices it after a demon slew his uncle and teacher Immortalis, he eventually finds himself in a dreary lumber town and, much to his dismay, might have to use his skills once again )

Okay, I have to say it: Temeraire would LOVE punk music. Sure, he's obviously an opera and classical music lover, but he's also open-minded enough to listen to other genres, and once he heard about punk music, he would instantly become a major fan of The Sex Pistols.

Laurence would have been utterly horrified by both the lyrics and the actual sound of such un-Christian music, but eventually, after Temeraire made him listen to Anarchy In The UK or God Save The Queen a million times, he would have unexpectedly found himself humming the tune one day, which would probably have made him utterly horrified and disgusted with himself.
