Hey there, survivor, and welcome to TFoW! We are a literate Warriors roleplay hosted on Discord and catering to 18+ audiences that will be kicking off some time in early May. Follow WindClan through a post zombie apocalypse world as they struggle to survive within the Sacred Tunnels of Highstones-- navigating wandering undead, restless Spirits, and the simple cruelty of nature --and be a part of the story that answers the question... what did happen to WindClan when the other Clans departed oh so long ago?

This is not an auditions based server and will be open to the public starting on April 1st, when our high rank applications go live. At that time you'll be free to peruse all of the detailed history, cultural lore, and mechanical systems that exist in TFoW and decide if you wish to join us with your character. For now-- an abbreviated version of said information can be found on our info page.

Ok ok after about a month of circling the drain and a year of tangentially thinking, I am back in my dragon age phase

I stuck my OC fic on anon bc it was cringe and I want to make backedits… but I have been rereading all the fun unpublished bits, and am plotting it again.

I think I learned a lot from “The College Experience Is Losing The Moral High Ground” in terms of taking a long plot and making it into a story, if nothing else. My ability to motivate myself to write regularly has also improved ahaha

Now to figure out how I want to tell the story… in media res? Or beginning middle end? Because I want to think of the middle, not angst over the beginning 🤔🤔🤔

It's framed like a biography that the Faceleed Old Woman is telling Craig, the descendant of the man who killed her. After she dies, as a sort of ghost, she haunts and attempts to kill her murderer, but she fails. She then spends the rest of time manipulating and killing all of his descendants. She is constantly doing things that they don't notice to get them to have kids, etc, and then when they get old enough, causes an accident so the first born son always dies. The villain, and TFOW murderer is also a manipulator. He gets her on a wild goose chase for years to find out who killed her father, and managed to trick her into a situation where he could kill her.

Iloliss actually just used to be... A very ooc Fran, I absolutely adored Fran Bow when it first came out and it was the only thing I thought about for a while

If I hadn't found that game, Iloliss wouldn't have existed

Lucidus and Tenebra were originally just supposed to be side characters in tfow but I got too attached to them, even back then I came up with both of them at the same time and they were basically just created to be a fun couple you meet along the way

What I'm saying is that they're soul mates through and through

Also now only Tenebra makes an appearance in tfow, Lucidus only gets mentioned by a couple of people...

Facies is a similar situation, they were supposed to be a side character in tfow but whooops, now they have their own story

They also still make an appearance in tfow

Also before I really started working on obscure dreams, Tenebra's life was actually more pleasant... Now not so anymore

Eider and Thilveroarni are basically just punching bags, their stories don't have good endings, only bad ones, get fucked, idiots

Aeni's story is the one that I've worked the least on...

a bit of time has passed since the events of The Fall of Wrycan, and Guardian begins to have dreams.

it's blurry and vague, but Death is there. he will restart the universe and mold it into his perfect vision, a world in which he reigns surpreme. Guardian fears there is no way to stop him, but then, she sees them; a criminal, a devil, a wizard, a dragon, a beast, and a human. these 'chosen ones' will defeat Death and save the universe, they are the only ones who can, but Guardian has to be able to find them first.

the 21st century — four girls are walking home from a late shopping trip when they hear noises coming from a dumpster. curious, they decide to investigate and find a little girl sleeping inside. after she awakens and frantically begs them to let her stay with them, they comply, ignorant to the fact that the girl is being tracked down.

if i had to pick a song that inspired me the most while writing tfow, it would be brot by ólafur arnalds. it’s the song of winterchill and walking out into the front porch at morning and shaky breaths and doubting yourself while trusting your senses and simple revelations with big impacts... basically it’s what prompted that entire backyard scene and i love it. so much

6 Moons PA

All four Clans remained huddled in this stasis until StarClan finally reached out with a sign, visiting the dreams of all Medicine Cats in one night and speaking one word in their multitude of voices-- ❝ RUN!! ❞ An emergency Gathering happened the very next morning when the Clans appeared at Fourtrees, pulled by the plea from their ancestors, with all their cats and any supplies they could manage to carry along. All, except WindClan. It was only the Leader, Galestar, his Medicine Cat, Doeshine, and a handful of Warriors who appeared to meet the others with a message of their own: WindClan would not be leaving. Galestar declared that his Medicine Cat had received a sign from StarClan that was different from what they'd told the other Clans– that WindClan was safe on their moors, away from the infected woods and protected under their ancestors' watchful gazes. They did not need to make a panicked flight from their home, so they would not. No amount of reasoning or arguing or damning the hubris of such a claim would sway the WindClan party, and so it was there that the four Clans became three. Those who were leaving joined together, eyes grimly set on the horizon where they would hopefully find their new, safe home, and left the forest behind. But this story isn’t about them.

Another page in the history of WindClan's fight for survival amongst the apocalypse, but more importantly-- some news! TFoW's first round of high ranks have been announced and, with that, the server is now accepting general character submissions!

The roleplay is set to open on April 29th. We're growing fast, and that date isn't too far away...

Ever After High: The Legend of Shadow High (Shannon & Dean Hale) "Now, Ever After High itself is very Web. The children of famous fairytales being destiny-bound to relive their stories or go 'poof' is the driving force behind all the books' conflicts.

However, Shadow High takes it to another level. The narrators, who were present throughout the series, are more influential within the story. Even the straight-laced narrator parents who believe only in observing stories leave 'plop devices' to coerce characters in or out of making decisions. The titular Shadow High is a school for narrators run by antagonist Ms. Direction after a narrator schism between those who observe stories and those who control them. Ms. Direction uses 'unmaking lava' that turns characters and props into the words that compose them, destroying them so that they can be made again in her vision. She also uses narration to compel characters into doing her bidding. The narrator of the book, Brooke Page, is the daughter of the other books' narrators and has frequent arguments with her parents between chapters about why she can't intervene in the story to help the characters. Brooke ultimately does this in the book's climax by climbing the Fourth Wall and asking the reader for help, turning the book into a choose-your-own-adventure and having the reader write in how Ms. Direction is ultimately defeated.

Also, it's a crossover with Monster High so Frankie Stein and Draculaura are there."
