So this tweet made a real good point and got me thinking about this scene:

As mentioned in their tweet, "you don't 'beg for mercy' for a job," and here he sounds so scared and desperate, like he's had to do this A LOT before with the directors and it's so... sad.

Before he finds out the truth about Eden, he believed they saved him from his former life and gave him new opportunities to continue his dreams, but do you think having to needlessly beg to keep your position as literally being the face of Eden out of fear you'll be replaced and thrown right back out to your old life is a so called dream come true?

Eden even made a trailer for a movie about his life to fame, showing how everyone was rejecting him as a person, which they definitely made it more simplified like I KNOW he was getting way worse treatment than what was shown.

My main point is that despite believing in Eden's motives (before knowing the truth), he still wasn't truly happy deep down. He was STILL getting rejected and slandered by society, and he knew that deep down, so it's not surprising how the possibility of him losing his job made him have a whole breakdown and do the things he did to try and cope.

He quite literally has no one to lean to and hasn't had anyone since showing up to Eden besides the directors (because he probably believed they were treating him fairly and with respect), but... yeah.

He wanted to make a difference, to give hope to hybrids, and he thought he was doing just that. Despite the way the directors and everyone thought of him, despite how alone he felt, he still thought he was achieving his dreams and sharing that onto others

and yet... he was being used this entire time. None of it was true, all the hard work and the things he went through was for nothing.

Everything that Eden has done, and he was the face of it all... it's just devastating.

Feeling nervous going to get your first tattoo and then you get to the shop and see that touya is your tattoo artist now your feeling even more nervous bc he is FINE 🫠

what if. you've been followine the ig page for this tattoo shop for a while, but you've never been in, don't necessarily know the artists. you just see the work that's shared to the business page and think !!! that it looks good !! that you wouldn't mind getting work from anyone bc it all seems so incredible !!!!

so you don't make an appointment or anything and you come in as a walk-in, and there's this cute girl there, in the middle of working on something, but she sits up from where she's leaning over and grins at you, asks you if she can help you. gloves on, machine still running in her hands LOL and when you tell her you were wanting to get something done, she promises to be with you as soon as she's done !!! so you're like okay !!! sitting in one of the chairs, looking over the ideas you have saved on your phone, just to make sure that's what you want, but then the door opens and this guy comes in, clearly coming back from a smoke break, and he looks at you just as the girl you were talking to looks up, and she calls,

"oh, hey, touya, i'm in the middle of this, do you think you could work this cutie in !!"

and he gives you another once over and he's so STUPID HANDSOME, with his dark hair and bright eyes and earrings and tattoos covering him all the way up to his neck, and he just grins at you and says, "my pleasure 😏"

Letting out a soft 'chirp!', she ran a quick circle around the other mon', noting their strange form. But that's ok, she could tell they were like her! Another child of Dark and Sky! Letting out another small chirp, Twilight pulled out a Leppa berry and offered it to the other legend, looking up at her with wide, curious eyes.

The older Yveltal gave a soft chuckle and knelt down on one knee. She had a deep care for children and one of her own kind made her heart ache for a moment.

“You’re a clever one. I’m surprised you recognized what I am so swiftly.” She gently took the Leppa berry and placed in in her purse. “Thank you little one. This will be a perfect treat for later.” Raising to her feet once more, she glanced around their surroundings before placing a finger over her lips.

“How about I show you a little something as a thank you? But don’t tell too many people okay? I’m playing hide and seak so it’ll give away my hiding spot.” She spoke in a hushed tone to the little bird. With a wink and a cloud of smoke like clouds, she changed her form to reveal her true self.
