spent the weekend in london with my girls @leapyeap and @snapes, had brunch with pals, ate some excellent food, went pottery painting, and saw the dimension 20 gang twice!!! at brennan and izzy’s improv show (“cheese gun! bam!”) and d20 live which was everything.

today’s actual birthday plans were travelling home, spending time with my parents, and now planning for shenanigans this evening with @jamesandanthony and co. including char’s famous birthday dessert!

oooh what a delightful scenario---

Joy would immediately try to strongarm her way out, and failing that, would actually wait and listen to see if there's anyone else around. If she can move at all, she will, taking the whole chair with her if she has to. If she can't... Well, the longer she's left there, the more bored (*cough* creative) and pissy she'll get.

Benji's first instinct is to call out, see if anyone's there, and try to reason with them. Even if his captor has a reason for bringing him in, he'll do his damndest to convince them he's just a harmless innocent bystander who's never done anything wrong ever uwu. If he's completely alone, he'll try to untie knots, or just loosen rope enough to wriggle free. 50/50 chance of success there, which is higher than just about every other team member.

Jericho would also try to call out, if only to gauge what's going on. If he was answered, he'd try to be courteous and polite and not give anyone a reason to escalate things. If no one answered, he'd attempt to break free.

Kaius would be perfectly still and silent, listening to the room around him and trying to get an idea of where he might be, who has him, why they might have him, etc. He'd assume he was taken for a reason, and wait for his captor to make the first move in order to better understand his situation before doing anything drastic.

Hunter would be thrashing and cursing with reckless abandon. He'd probably tire himself out quite a bit before he was able to focus on the patterns and try to figure out what's going on. He would not be a pleasure to have in chair.

Sahota's captors, in most cases, don't know what they're getting themselves into. Like Kaius, he will initially wait and listen. But where Kaius is looking for leverage or a way to manipulate the situation, Sahota is looking for weak points and the right moment to strike.

this IS a semi-au fic about the detroit red wings, set vaguely in the 2018-19 season, because the wings sucked that year (but not as bad as 2019-20)

this is ALSO a fic that is mainly about tyler bertuzzi and dylan larkin, with some other wings thrown in because i've never met an ensemble i couldn't shove into a love story

Which OC do you think from Track & Q verse would get along best with Fushi and/or Zen :3

OH MY GAWSH Wonderful question. Fushi is bestfriends with Claire who is somewhat like Q and Track combined so this could go either direction. I am leaning towards saying she’d just vibe with Track better since Fushi would probably smell the insanity off of Q from a mile away and decide that she can’t handle another case of toxic codependency. Track and Q would like , sit in a room and watch something and just be chill together, but I doubt it would go any deeper than that. Zen and Q would be very fake together and would only ‘bond’ over their similar personalities if they both got super drunk or something. Zen would also like Track, because much like how she was attracted to Fushi, she loves to take in shy creatures who could get easily attached to her. Unfortunately, Track already has a Zen-like figure that he’s attached to, so she would give up on ensnaring him and simply treat him like a cute little cousin, maybe beg to use him as a dress up doll
