i haven't actually watched sab s2 yet but from what i've seen i'm going to have very complicated emotions about how they're playing around with crows timeline and character arcs. yes it is too early for some of those scenes and stories to have the full emotional impact and payoff they do in the books HOWEVER this cast literally just walked off the pages of the book and i do have an emotional connection to them from having read to books so i am so psyched to see some of those scenes on my actual television screen because i know what those scenes mean and i get to assign the meaning to them not the writers

#this is very rambly #but im just treating the show like very expensive fanfiction #and just having fun with it bc it is fun to see these characters interact with new people and even with each other in different ways #bc i do think the actors are brilliant at protraying them and i think the writers have a decent characterization of the crows going from s1 #idk maybe ill change my mind when i actually watch it #but for me rn its just Not That Serious and its fun to watch some of theee iconic crows scenes play out live #its very fun and itll probably be how i picture it fir rereads #text #shadow and bone #sab netflix #six of crows
