Name: Flysun (he/him)
childish, incredibly clever & natural intuition
Rank: Skipper
Parents: Cressrush
Siblings: Frostcurrent, Freezesplinter (littermates), Milkweedsplinter, Clawecho (siblings), Rooksun, Softfry (half-siblings)
Children: Wisterialeaf, Lilylotus, Rippleheart, Icefry (second parent: Chickpealeaf)
Teacher: Oddsun
Students: Slugfry, Rippleheart
Bio:
Calculating, cold, yet honor-bond to uphold the laws of the Pact, Flysun's reign as Skipper was mercifully short.
Flyfry trained under the previous Skipper Oddsun, who regarded him as an heir more than a student. The year after he graduated, Oddsun's bosun Creekbriar starved to death, a victim in an ongoing famine. Oddsun appointed Flysun bosun despite his lack of qualification and died three months later.
So, at 2.5 years of age, Flysun rose to his group's highest position of power. He did nothing to ease the famine, instead using his power to abuse those closest to him. In particular, his wife and then bosun Chickpealeaf bore the brunt of his manipulation.
He got together with his step-mom Patchouliswoop (it was ClanGen I swear) and felt no remorse for her when she froze to death that same moon.
The one good act he did in his life was saving his nephew from drowning in a river. Though even that couldn't save him from being sent to Hell.

Squiddles: "(taken from the mspa wiki) "Squiddles is a television program in Homestuck that chronicles the adventures of a group of friendly squids; episodes revolved around themes of friendship, teamwork and tickle fights. Nickelodeon All Star Brawl
... Is a game I am definitely excited for.
And I'm actually going to do a very big post to talk about things I am hoping to see in seeing in the game.
Characters I want to see in the game
Starting off, I want to say that so far the roster is looking good especially on the Nick Toon side of things, but one thing I'm going to talk about is that the game is called Nickelodeon (not Nick Toon) All-Star Brawl, meaning that we're going to see representation from throughout the Nickelodeon line up of properties.
Characters I would like to see include
Ed from Good Burger
A live-action sit com charecter
Miko and Hector
The Game Shakers team (this will make sense later)
Rocko
Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, And Dawn
Marc Summers
A music artist/group
Po
Tigress
Skipper + The penguins of Madagascar
Otto
Timmy Turner
jimmy neutron
Henry Hart/Kid Danger and Captain Man
Harvey beaks
Nacho Libre
Rango
Otis
Tak
Dudley and Kitty
Making Fiends leads
Harriet the spy (maybe, it was the first Nickelodeon movie, so I feel obligated to put it on here)
George Lopez (also obligated because I can't remember any other original shows on Nick at night that could fit on this list.)
A Nick Jr character, probably Dora or Diego due to the movie coming out (also obligated because I feel like I should put in a Nick Jr character here)
The Thundermans or The X Family
The Supah Ninjas or Three Delivery
Kappa Mikey
Hugh neutron
Dib
Sway Sway & Beduce or Sanjay & Craig
Brendan and Evan
Adam Conover
CatDog
Squidward
Garfield
The musical versions of SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy
Stages
Now, well I do know that characters are definitely a big part of a game, where they're fighting is also a big part as well
The hotel from "Hotel For Dogs"
The Irkin ship
The town from Rango
The city from Albert the Christmas tree
The Stage from the SpongeBob musical
Fairy world
The location from Rocket Power
A stage from a music concert
A location from at least one Nickelodeon licensed game
Either Retroville or the location where the climax set on Jimmy neutron the movie
The Wayne
Wayside School
A location from the Spiderwick Chronicles (I don't really know that much about the books but I do remember that the locations from the movie will be cool)
Either Double Dare, Nickelodeon arcade, Legends Of The Hidden Temple, The Crystal Maze, or Guts as a stage.
Nickelodeon animation studios
A Nickelodeon hotel or resort
Other stuff
In this game, I feel like we should have other stuff aside from the main fighting game, like mini-games and such
Things that should be included in the game, an obstacle course mode, a tournament mode, an arcade mode, a museum mode, clips from the cartoon, and lastly...
A story mode
A story mode is what I hope most for this game, something akin to the Timmy Jimmy power hour or subspace emissary. With cutscenes, a good story, and an epic villain.
Here's what I think a story should be
Throughout the Nickelodeon version of Earth, great chaos is happening, The world is slowly breaking apart due to an unknown force. It turns out this is being caused by the collector, a being who is obsessed with Nickelodeon so much in fact that he wants to take it over. Now it's up to the Nickelodeon characters to save their world before it can be put on The collector's shelf.
Now the collector is the villain I made up for this, but don't worry there will still be villains from throughout the shows but some of them will be willing to put their villainous actions decide to not be put on a shelf. I wasn't kidding when I said that the big plan is to be put on a collector's shelf.
One major part of the story is everything takes place in the same world for this game. That means that there are aliens fairies ninjas talking animals, glitched video games, and all that jazz.
A couple of examples of the world crossing over since the game has one big connected world are...
Professor membrane finally having to come to terms that the supernatural exists
Da Rules being broken causing fairy world to be revealed
The Glitch Techs in the Game Shakers forming a partnership due to the common ground of games (I said it would make sense later)
Callbacks to previous crossover events
Time travel and alternate universe shenanigans causing multiple versions of characters to coexist
How does Nickeloden exist as a Cartoon channel in Universe
In acknowledgment of how Eliza Thornberry's powers work, due to the question of whether or not you can talk to characters like SpongeBob, Garfield, the Tuff Agency or CatDog
And a solid timeline of events that happen within the show.
I hope this is pretty accurate but I don't mind some alterations to my ideas that I will happen for the final game and its possible DLC.
And that is all I have to say
Good day

22/05/2021-Great walk at Martin Down again: Blog 2 of 2-Wildlife photos and story of the walk
We came to Martin Down again today where we came last Saturday we often frequent this place at this time of year with our quest for seeing butterflies in the spring, with four of the list of targets for right now in my head remaining to chase. We arrived in fairly bright conditions with the sun in and out today and it was great to see bulging clumps of speedwell flowers as we did last week I would later take the sixth picture in this photoset of some of these, most likely germander speedwell I think. We saw a lot of nice flowers today including milkwort, common rock-rose, buttercup and dandelion. I took the third picture in this photoset of the former. We also saw a pink orchid possibly a common-spotted which was great to see.
Things really came to life for insects as we walked on with Dingy Skippers showing themselves I took the fifth picture in this photoset of one later on and we had that all walk which was great. I am having probably my best ever year for Dingy and Grizzled Skipper the trips we’ve been on timed well for us to really see them a lot of times which I’ve loved. I found out today a Dingy Skipper photo I took at Martin Down last month was published in the Hampshire Chronicle via the photography club Facebook page. A couple of a bright and exciting moths were about early on and I just about made out this was a Burnet Companion. A moth I learnt by seeing it at nearby Lakeside last year that was a very welcome sighting this year a beautiful moth it was special to see. We did see a lot of different moths today as our season got going for them a bit in the spring months well and truly now I had not seen a lot of them before today so this was great. Walking on just a bit we caught sight of one of the targets when a smashing orange and brown Small Heath flew around and landed briefly. That was one of the targets seen straight away which made me happy.
We walked on towards a square area just a bit before the big mound where we have had happy butterfly times before. On the way we were ecstatic to spot a Grey Partridge darting through the air a glorious moment. It was exceptional to see this quite rarely seen and quintessentially rural bird once more at this the best location we know for them. It’s my 156th bird of the year a number slot on my year list I always tend to fill with a memorable bird in years and this is one of my birds of the year. It keeps my year list competing well with previous years it’s only a few weeks behind my 2018 and 2019 with how many birds I had seen on this date in years and is ahead of my 2020 in that respect for now. As my great year list resurgence from mid-March onwards continues with now ten year ticks this month which I am absolutely thrilled with. At the place I saw my first ever in 2013 it was an important moment for the elusive Grey Partridge and us as the first time we had seen Grey Partridges in back to back years after seeing the ones here in 2013, again here in 2015, twice in 2018 in Moray in Scotland and here later on and twice in 2020 after here that February part of a really memorable day for me and another memorable day at Blakeney in Norfolk last September. This feels significant for seeing this bird.
We carried on and inspected the square area seeing Grizzled Skipper fairly well with its wings closed a little bit too both Dingy and Grizzled Skipper I appreciated their underwings like never before today. Then we saw a smashing looking ruby red Small Copper a butterfly I saw for the first time this year last week it was a great view of this rich coloured butterfly one of my B list favourites which I love seeing and it gave great photo opportunities including the second picture I took today in this photoset. I also noticed some interesting small snails or snail shells scattered across the grass today all of different colours and patterns light and dark which was really interesting and maybe a sign of the weather we’ve had.  It was something really beautiful to stumble across, I took the first picture in this photoset of one in this square bit looking nice. As last week there were also a fair few mushrooms around of different colours I tweeted on Dans_Pictures photos I took of some today and there was one in my part 1 of the blogs today with my landscape and other photos.
Waking on past the ridge area an orange spark of inspiration flashed by when one of our big targets lately a Marsh Fritillary flew by. A fleeting but welcome sighting of our first of this also B list favourite butterfly of mine this year. My 22nd butterfly species of the year a figure I am so proud of. The walk after that was mostly a grey one as the sun was obscured by the clouds which has been around for so much of May which can make it difficult to see butterflies and there is one in particular the Green Hairstreak we are yet to see which we have seen earlier than this in years so I am really happy with how well we’ve done seeing this many butterfly species so far this year. Its my seventh butterfly year tick at Martin Down this year which not only means I’ve got one more butterfly year tick than bird at this strong location for both which we’ve had a brilliant year at already but it means both Lakeside and Martin Down have seven year ticks each on my butterfly year list so far this year 31.8% of my butterfly species seen for the first time at each this year so far and 63.6% of them coming at either of those locations which I find interesting.
On the greyer large patch of the walk with interesting cloud formations hanging over the landscape again as I posted about in my last blog attention turned to birds in this strong bird area too. We saw a hat trick of smashing Corn Buntings as the walk went on watching one in particular for ages and hearing its charming and delightful call which sounded so beautiful which we hadn’t often heard before I took the fourth picture in this photoset of this top bird. A rare bird that is doing so well at this reserve always an honour to see. We also saw and heard Skylarks to a spectacular extent here again with them flying so close over us and that pure and electric wall of sound of them at the beginning as you often get when getting out the car a unique charm of this place. I heard another Cuckoo briefly too which was great.
On the way back we got a glimpse of the usual star flower here the burnt-tip orchids in a little way as they had just started to rear their heads with the tiny purple bit of them showing in the place they usually with a lot of close to the ground flowers as the seventh picture in this photoset shows for the burnt tips. On some of the buttercups we enjoyed seeing a great green beetle a lovely insect sighting I took the ninth picture in this photoset of this and eighth of another flower. As the sun re-emerged before getting back to the car Dingy Skippers were out again as the sweet green vegetation was lit up and the moths still danced along. I also got a valuable chance to chase one more Small Heath I didn’t get a picture with my closeup macro lens used for butterflies, other insects, flowers and mushrooms which was in demand today and barely off but I did get to feel that thrill of the chase I always get from photographing butterflies especially this way. I enjoyed the sun brightening up the beautiful New Forest on the way home. Another successful Saturday, I hope you all had a good one.
Wildlife Sightings Summary: My first Grey Partridge, Small Heath, Marsh Fritillary and Burnet Companion moth of the year, Corn Bunting, Skylark, Linnet flying from a bush late on with Goldfinch around too, Mistle Thrush, Woodpigeon, Swift gliding over very nicely again, Whitethroat, Dingy Skipper, Grizzled Skipper, Small Copper, beetle, moths, other insects, bee and I heard one of my favourite birds the Cuckoo.

Ms Dhoni : The untold story Film Review M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language biographical sports film written and directed by Neeraj Pandey . It is based on the life of former Test, ODI and T20I captain of the Indian national cricket team , Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput as Dhoni, along with Disha Patani, Kiara Advani, and Anupam Kher . The film chronicles the life of Dhoni from a young age through a series of life events. The biopic on India’s celebrated skipper, MS Dhoni (played by Sushant Singh Rajput) is the cricketer’s ode to his well-wishers, friends and family, who stood by him at all times - in success and failure. Their immense contribution in fulfilling his dream, his faith in himself and ability to battle professional and personal setbacks, forms the story. Some important views: If you are a diehard fan of MS Dhoni and cricket (in that order), you are bound to love this film, which reveres its protagonist. Despite the glorification, what works is Sushant’s impeccable portrayal of a stoic Dhoni and the latter’s inspiring untold story - his journey from being a ticket collector to a renowned attacking batsman/wicket-keeper/captain. movie Sushant internalises his character and becomes MSD, without heavily mimicking the cricketer. He even nails his iconic helicopter shot and restrained personality. The actor scores a winning knock. The film also boasts of a spectacular first-half, which showcases Dhoni’s initial struggle as an aspiring professional cricketer. It reminds you why sportsmen deserve the fame and money they get. Neeraj Pandey recreates Dhoni’s Ranchi life beautifully. He keeps it authentic and relatable. This one scene shot at Kharagpur station particularly stands out. Sushant is seen trying to make his way through a sea of people. It’s him going against the tide, summing up Dhoni’s life journey as well. Supporting actors deserve a special mention as their performances tug at your heartstrings. A scene featuring Yuvraj Singh (Herry Tangri) is outstanding. However the biopic loses its momentum in the second half with Dhoni’s love life getting undue prominence. Also, the cricketer’s questionable decisions or possible vices are mostly overlooked. His tiff with the senior players (Sehwag, Gambhir), rivalry with Yuvraj Singh, love-hate relationship with the media, team politics and criticism faced on occasions, barely find a passing reference. As a full-fledged biopic, this one-dimensional approach towards the lead character leaves you a tad discontented. But since you see the film through Dhoni’s eyes, it’s justified as one rarely sees faults in oneself. Nonetheless, this cricket movie hits sufficient sixes making the ‘Dhoni Dhoni’ chants reverberate in the theatre. The film was released on 30 September 2016 by Fox Star Studios and received the widest release ever for a Bollywood film across 61 countries. In addition to being released in Hindi language, it was also dubbed in Tamil , Telugu, and Marathi languages, although the Marathi release was later cancelled due to opposition. Upon release, the film became a critical and commercial success. It is the fifth highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2016 in India with ₹1.16 billion all across

Indianapolis - Lynn Vincent & Sara Vladic
Indianapolis The True Story of the Worst Sea Disaster in U.S. Naval History and the Fifty-Year Fight to Exonerate an Innocent Man Lynn Vincent & Sara Vladic Genre: Military Price: $14.99 Publish Date: July 10, 2018 Publisher: Simon & Schuster Seller: SIMON AND SCHUSTER DIGITAL SALES INC NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER * “GRIPPING…THIS YARN HAS IT ALL.” — USA Today * “A WONDERFUL BOOK.” — Christian Science Monitor * “ENTHRALLING.” — Kirkus Reviews (starred review) * “A MUST-READ.” — Booklist (starred review) A human drama unlike any other—the riveting and definitive full story of the worst sea disaster in United States naval history. Just after midnight on July 30, 1945, days after delivering the components of the atomic bomb from California to the Pacific Islands in the most highly classified naval mission of the war, USS Indianapolis is sailing alone in the center of the Philippine Sea when she is struck by two Japanese torpedoes. The ship is instantly transformed into a fiery cauldron and sinks within minutes. Some 300 men go down with the ship. Nearly 900 make it into the water alive. For the next five nights and four days, almost three hundred miles from the nearest land, the men battle injuries, sharks, dehydration, insanity, and eventually each other. Only 316 will survive. For the better part of a century, the story of USS Indianapolis has been understood as a sinking tale. The reality, however, is far more complicated—and compelling. Now, for the first time, thanks to a decade of original research and interviews with 107 survivors and eyewitnesses, Lynn Vincent and Sara Vladic tell the complete story of the ship, her crew, and their final mission to save one of their own. It begins in 1932, when Indianapolis is christened and launched as the ship of state for President Franklin Roosevelt. After Pearl Harbor, Indianapolis leads the charge to the Pacific Islands, notching an unbroken string of victories in an uncharted theater of war. Then, under orders from President Harry Truman, the ship takes aboard a superspy and embarks on her final world-changing mission: delivering the core of the atomic bomb to the Pacific for the strike on Hiroshima. Vincent and Vladic provide a visceral, moment-by-moment account of the disaster that unfolds days later after the Japanese torpedo attack, from the chaos on board the sinking ship to the first moments of shock as the crew plunge into the remote waters of the Philippine Sea, to the long days and nights during which terror and hunger morph into delusion and desperation, and the men must band together to survive. Then, for the first time, the authors go beyond the men’s rescue to chronicle Indianapolis ’s extraordinary final mission: the survivors’ fifty-year fight for justice on behalf of their skipper, Captain Charles McVay III, who is wrongly court-martialed for the sinking. What follows is a captivating courtroom drama that weaves through generations of American presidents, from Harry Truman to George W. Bush, and forever entwines the lives of three captains—McVay, whose life and career are never the same after the scandal; Mochitsura Hashimoto, the Japanese sub commander who sinks Indianapolis but later joins the battle to exonerate McVay; and William Toti, the captain of the modern-day submarine Indianapolis , who helps the survivors fight to vindicate their captain. A sweeping saga of survival, sacrifice, justice, and love, Indianapolis stands as both groundbreaking naval history and spellbinding narrative—and brings the ship and her heroic crew back to full, vivid, unforgettable life. It is the definitive account of one of the most remarkable episodes in American history. http://bit.ly/2Ev79Uu

Where ‘Jaws,’ the Ride, Lives Forever
When Robb Alvey, an amusement park fanatic, heard that Universal Studios Orlando was shuttering its beloved “Jaws”-themed ride in 2012, he made sure to grab a front-row seat for the closing day.
Using a hand-held digital camera, he filmed the six-minute boat ride: from the skipper Jacob welcoming passengers; to the “mayday” distress call; to the first sighting of the prosthetic shark; to the grenade launchers and exploding fireballs; and, finally, to the “high-voltage” cable that fries the animatronic beast.
Mr. Alvey, 49, who lives in Orlando, Fla., and runs a website called Theme Park Review, uploaded the footage to YouTube. Seven years later, the video has been viewed more than 160 million times.
“This was better than the actual movie,” one of the thousands of commenters wrote. Another recalled thinking the mechanical monster was real as a child. “It’s sad this ride is gone,” another lamented.
Thanks to park archivists like Mr. Alvey, no theme park truly disappears anymore. The “Jaws” clip is just one in the thriving genre of “last-ride” videos, in which the final moments of amusement park attractions are chronicled for posterity.
Thrill seekers can ride shotgun on a raft and dodge a roaring T. rex on Universal Hollywood’s “Jurassic Park”: The Ride. Or see a simulated tornado destroy an Oklahoma town at Universal Florida’s “Twister” … Ride It Out. Or journey past recreated movie sets from “Alien” and “The Wizard of Oz” at The Great Movie Ride, which operated for almost three decades at Walt Disney World in Orlando.
All of these attractions, and dozens more, are still running — at least virtually — in this alternate universe of last-ride videos.
Nostalgia plays a big role, said Jason Sheridan, a host of “Podcast: The Ride,” which chronicles old and new attractions. “People have positive associations of when they first went to a park as a kid,” said Mr. Sheridan, 34, an actor and writer who lives in Los Angeles. “They think, ‘Oh, this stuff will be there forever.’ So when Disney re-themes a ride, they feel a little melancholy.”
And in an age of digital thrills, when so much entertainment is mediated through a screen, vintage theme-park footage clips allow viewers to re-experience the tactile, hands-on joys of their favorite ride — albeit also through a screen.
“It’s a truly irreplaceable medium,” said Kevin Perjurer, a filmmaker in Orlando who specializes in amusement parks. “When a theme park ride is destroyed, it’s gone for good.”
While last-ride videos offer a keepsake of bygone thrills, the public’s fascination with theme parks has also given rise to a cottage industry of podcasts, books, websites and documentaries.
Mr. Perjurer is the creator of “Defunctland,” a YouTube series that documents the rise and fall of former wonders such as Disney’s “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea”: Submarine Voyage ride in Orlando, Six Flags AstroWorld in Houston, Tex., and Universal’s “Kongfrontation.” The documentary series, which began in 2017, has more than half a million subscribers.
Roland Betancourt, an associate professor of art history at the University of California, Irvine, said that theme parks offer a kind of parallel universe that is rich with lore and fantasy. “Theme parks are a unique cultural space,” said Mr. Betancourt, who teaches classes about Disneyland’s design and history. “They aim for utopias that are never quite fully present. They represent a continued desire to unsettle time and space through art and architecture, to produce a sense of place that is never quite fully realized.”
The obsession with certain rides can lead to extreme pursuits.
Chris Wallace, a 38-year-old technologist, visited Disney World in Orlando frequently as a child, but he never got to experience Epcot’s Horizons, a ride that offered a futuristic look at 21st century living (as predicted in 1983). So he recreated Horizons as a 360-degree computer animation. Using online video and blueprints, Mr. Wallace programmed a digital rendering of the 15-minute long ride, including the “Futureport Departure” sign that greeted visitors and the Jetsons-like robot that vacuumed the floor.
“People will write and say, ‘I used to ride this with my grandfather before it closed, and it makes me feel like I’m getting to do it all over again with him,’” Mr. Wallace said. “Everybody has a story of what it meant to them.”
That longing for expired rides is certain to increase in coming years, as America’s theme parks are renovated: In August, Disney announced that Epcot will undergo yet another major overhaul, while Universal Orlando recently revealed plans for a massive new park called Epic Universe.
And when parks make big changes, the charmingly antiquated rides are often first to go. In 2014, Walt Disney World shuttered its Studio Backlot Tour, a behind-the-scenes look at movie production, to make room for “Star Wars”: Galaxy’s Edge, a blockbuster attraction that opened this year.
“The backlot tour was over two hours long, and took up a big part of your day, but it showed you every aspect of filmmaking,” said Alicia Stella, 37, a journalist who covers theme parks on her website Orlando ParkStop. “I miss those kinds of attractions. A lot of the new ones are fast-paced thrill rides.”
Such expansions are a reminder that the parks are in a constant state of evolution, which makes the archivists’ efforts all the more crucial: You never know when your favorite ride could close for good.

Games People Play (in Another World)
I’m sure you’ve heard about how authors of fantasy books build great big complicated worlds and get them all figured out before they even start to write? Well… that’s not so much what happened with The Sun Child Chronicles. I mean, I tried that, and I did make up the universe and figured out how the magic would work, and where the story would go. But then, in ways both big and small, the characters smudged the lines until they had the world they wanted. I mean, the warrior uncle, Han Shieth, fell in love. The great wizard, Thurlock likes to fudge the rules of his world and magically import Twinkies, Fiddle Faddle, and other sweet junk food from Earth, and the teen hero, Lucky, likes to play games.
Even though Ethra has some similarities to Earth in the days before electrical power, telephones, cars, and all the tech that came after, it has a whole different history, and that means people work differently (they use a lot of magic), and they play differently, too. The first game Lucky learned in Ethra was Skippers—okay, so it’s almost exactly like checkers—which he plays with Cook, the man who’s job in the manor house is to do exactly what his name says. His friend Zhevi teaches him how to play Skies, a card game that’s a bit more complicated. It uses a deck of cards with pictures of stars arranged as they appear in the sky. Here’s an account of one game Lucky played with his friend Zhevi. (This happened in Wraith Queen’s Veil, book 2.)
“The game began with each player passing two cards to the other. Lucky chose the least desirable in his hand, knowing from experience that Zhevi had a way of finding anything he passed to him useful. Next, they again chose unwanted cards, but this time discarded them and took replacements from the top of the reserve deck. And so it went, two to the neighbor, two to the discard and new from the deck, six times, all the while trying to build a constellation from the stars positioned on the cards.
When the play was over, Zhevi laid his cards down with a flourish obviously born of confidence. “The Two Bears.”
Lucky looked at Zhevi’s cards, recognizing the constellations known in Earth as Ursa Major and Ursa Minor. He nodded. “Good hand,” he said, “but I’ve got K’ormahk.” He laid down his cards for Zhevi’s inspection. “King of Skies.” The winged horse, known elsewhere as Pegasus, trumped everything else in the deck.”
In exchange, Lucky brought pick-up basketball to Ethra. I think Ethra got the better part of that deal.
Book 3, Ciarrah’s Light, will be released in just five days. It’s not all fun and games—not at all—but like the first two books in the series, it is an exciting, magical, roller-coaster adventure.
