i want wolfwood to be sasuke's big brother. let him replace itachi. he'd be better in every single way. they've been linked so often, It's Time.
This is incredibly funny because I have been legitimately trying to explain Stamp!WW to everybody as a Sasuke left in the oven for too long. It is depressingly yet legitimately the best way to understand him.
Which is that yeah he has gone through some massive shit and become very cynical and has nothing but cynical things to say about the world and is very aloof and violent and believes in the necessity of violence from a belief that the world is inherently violent.
But. Like. It's in a Sasuke way. You know what I mean? It's not really a deeply held philosophical position. It's reactionary to the events in his life. It's the result of trauma and not of experience. It's him having a lot of really complicated and hurtful feelings and transferring them onto the world. It's also extremely childish. It's a kid's outlook on the world. Which is why I bring up repeatedly that WW has a childish role in the narrative. He's not really the insightful or thoughtful one in that relationship. He's just damaged. People keep writing Stamp!WW unironically and it's always a bit funny. To me it's like taking Sasuke dead seriously.
I also would put WW98 as the exact opposite of Itachi. They had similar events in their story arcs, but what they did was for completely opposite reasons. And not quite complementary enough to be foils. Remember WW started the orphanage to give kids what he never had - Itachi's pursuit of peace is to minimize the 'need' for child soldiers. They both 'have to' hurt people even though they don't want to, but WW does it to stay alive and Itachi does it from societal brainwashing to follow orders. It feels very different. I can't see Itachi ever having that 98 scene in the church, because although he wanted a better world too he never really regretted his actions - and there's no way he wanted to live.

listened to the real will wood album three times yesterday. here are my thoughts:
am i being detaIIIIIIIIINED? am i under arrest?? (yes!)
"this is a song written by a dead guy" the implications..........
unsyncopate cotard's solution right this fucking second
the transition into dr sunshine lives is SO GOOD
was it when i left the cave and swore i'd. NEVER GO BACK!!!!!!!
how did he make white knuckle jerk hornier. what's with the moans. and why do i like it better than the original.
HEART BLUER THAN MY b-b-b-b-bbbbbaaaaa~a~LLLLLS!
the weird voices he uses in thermodynamic lawyer sure were a choice
fucking ADORE front street live. even better than the original and my favorite off of this album. literally just. the tempo changes. "if you're not on your worst behavior... get the fuck out!" "is this shit enough proof for you?" "give us all that fucking osmosis! oh, yeah!!" "sing it with me you fuckers!". he made a villian song sound even more evil. wtf and well done
i trusted you i trusted you i trusted you i trusted you i tru
the long ass intro for hand me my [x], i'm [y]! is fabulous. the anticipation!!!
the tempo is also faster here than the original which is awesome but overstimulating as hell when the second half of the bridge hits
take it away, creeps
here's a song *first chord of 2012*
by retracing myyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ste-epppppppppp pssssssssss
the guitar riff that starts mr capgras makes my brain perk up like a bluetooth speaker being connected
FUCKING HURT EACH OTHER! COME ON!!!!
yet another banger intro! the latter half of this album does not miss!
can we drop this shit? i wanna see you at each other's throats, man, make some fucking noise. one two three oh YEAAAAAAAH
the transition here also. magical.
i definitely didn't almost cry at the end of fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva when the tempo slowed down and everyone was vocalizing
-ish is so fucking underrated oh my GOD you people don't talk about it enough
the people who sang "myself again" after "and i'm gonna be"...... read the room
the new harmonies on where do you get off, front street, and mr capgras give me life
overall i love it but i do believe that ww didn't sing the song with five names to spite me personally. he did sing it on in case i die but still. you don't know how much tax fraud i would commit to hear it live with a full band

In one timeline, Zelda cries. She spends her late teenage years and young adulthood sobbing, emotionally a widow by the design of her own plans. She spends years heartbroken and mourning the Hero she loved and sent away in hopes of restoring the childhood stolen from him.
In another timeline, Zelda is confused. She thought the fairy boy who helped her save her kingdom was her friend, and that he would always be there to play with her. She spends her entire youth wondering why her Hero is so haunted, and why he can't look at her without seeming like he's about to cry.
In both timelines, the kingdom needs a Prince-Consort and an heir, not just a young Queen pining over a boy from the forest, so she agrees to an arranged marriage. She marries a man she does not love, and bears a child, and tries to be the best Queen that she possibly can.
In one timeline, her love and loss are not a secret, it becomes a common saying that the rains beginning to flood the land are a reflection of the tears their Queen sheds for her long lost love.
In another timeline, she pines silently for her Hero, simply watching in heartbreak as his inner demons drive him mad until he is merely a shade of his former self and disappears.
In both timelines, her heir grows, marries, and has a daughter of their own.
In one timeline, this princess - not the Sacred Princess but one of the sacred line nonetheless - grows up with stories of her grandmother's life as a Sheikah and the Hero she loved and lost. She grows up with stories of how when you fall in love, you should hold on tight, never let it go, and never waste a moment with them. As the flood waters rise, she swears she won't make the same mistake as her grandmother made. She won't let a second with her love be wasted, so she runs away from the palace, following the sailor she loves out to sea.
In another timeline, that same princess grows up with firm and unwavering expectations of what her royal duty is and how exactly she is expected to see that through. She grows up with a grandmother who married for duty despite her love being right there, knowing that she too is to marry an appropriate suitor when she comes of age. It never even crosses her mind that she could have fought to be with her love.
In both timelines, this princess bears the next Sacred Princess.
In one timeline, the next Zelda is born free as the waves beneath her. Her name is Zelda as her mother couldn't bear to break that far with tradition, but such isn't a name fitting for a pirate, so her middle name is all she ever knows. She grows up free and feral, sunkissed and smirking, allowed to be wild and go wherever the wind takes her.
In another timeline, the next Zelda is born as the sun begins to set over Hyrule. She grows up sheltered in a palace of rules and expectations. She learns to hide both smiles and tears, nevermind any improper impulses that might cross her mind. She grows up as a proper princess, internally screaming for anything more than the darkness around her.
In both timelines, Zelda finds her Hero. She finds Link, or rather he finds her, and they don't let go this time. In this lifetime they will get their happy ending, together, and they will fight anyone who tries to take it away from them.
(Aka: my brain realized that both TP and WW are next lifetime direct sequels to OoT. And now all I can think is that TP Zelda got ALL the anxiety in the timeline split, and that if Tetra ever met Midna they would get along like a house fire in that there would be no survivors)

Little thoughts and feelings about Update Dawn part 9| part 3
You cannot tell me, that his eyes didn’t showed the windows blue screen of death at exactly that moment. He really can’t handle attention, Twi would feel probably very uncomfortable turning someone down, more so because he knows how it hurts. Yet I think he really is the type of guy who needs a deep friendship level first, before he falls in love with a person.
Tumblr media
Both of them are so happy to see each other! Epona immediately turning her head once she sees him, and Twilight moods going to maximum happiness! The first thing he dose is price her, so cute.
Warriors comment just solidifies that Twilight wasn’t comfortable when he asked who the lady was.
Tumblr media
Game reference my beloved!!! Not hard to explain, if you can jump down from somewhere you jump, easy!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Wind does a classic roll?
Legend and Hyrule just jump down)
Warriors…he’s trying way too hard.
Tumblr media
I think this is also a reference to Hyrule Warriors being a complete different type of Zelda-game.
From the creator of Wind gets push out of the way by Dink and Those who get lost together stay together Wild and Hyrule! We get now, a brand new running gag: Of course you’re rich Wars, and I am the King of Hyrule!
Legend has a point…but I wouldn’t say that Time keeps the ranch income…he isn’t the owner of Lon Lon, since he married Malon. All the money goes to his wife, and I even say Time takes just what he finds in dungeons, and or demands necessary. I doubt he has a lot of rupees with him.

(Wanna know who is the poorest Link?

Time: 500 from Oot
+ all his LU canon games:

In conclusion Hyrule is the poorest! If there are some mistakes pls tell me, because I’m doing this in the middle of the night with half my brain working…)
Wild is so proud of his sword, look at that smile! He really there saying: »Four and the others made me this sword! Look! Isn’t it amazingly made?«
Four knows his craft!
Wind also getting acknowledged with Wild’s comment is so sweet.
Tumblr media
Really looking forward to this! How their will organize and team up to take The Shadow down!

Ending this arc with Four.

i literally live for ur posts bro. what hcs do you have about werewolf!thomas? how would that affect his character and upbringing? what about any romantic relationships? i am very interested in this Idea
oh geez man. i had to pause yugioh to talk about this. bear with me on this one lads, i'm fighting off a fever
(add in: I wrote this like a fucking month ago but mobile refused to let me edit the post so I had to come on web and that took like eighteen spoons for some god awful reason so. Here go)
So, the great thing about Werewolf!Thomas is that there are so many ways to interpret it.
It all depends on how you view werewolves: Do they only shift on a full moon? Do they have any control over it? Do they have any control during the change? Can they do it on command? Is it driven by emotions? Do they have any werewolf features outside of their wolf form? Do they experience heats/ruts? Do they mate with A/B/O rules? Do they have their own? It's just so much!
Which is great! I love AU's that leave so much open space, and I feel like the slasher community severely lacks any serious AU's.
So, here's what I'll do. For this post, I'll set up a particular form of WW!Thomas. I'll set answers for the questions above (and maybe a few more) and give a brief description on him. Then I'll talk about my HCs, how it'd affect his character, upbringing, etc, etc.
I"ll also add in another loop and tell y'all to send in asks about other forms of WW!Thomas! Change it up, mix 'em around, and ask me about him! It's an AU, damnit, let's have some fun with it!
So, just as a fair warning, this particular version is going to lean less towards the traditional werewolf and more towards my own, because... Well I don't really have a reason, I just want to. Leave me and my feverish brain alone.
Now to begin by answering some basics about WW!Thomas and how his particular case of lycanthropy functions.
In my particular AU, Thomas has a few werewolf features outside of his wolf form. His teeth are noticeably sharper than normal, and his nails are dark and naturally sharp. His ears, while in normal human placement, are pointed, and twitch in response to various things. He has a big, fluffy brown tail, and he's just a bit hairier all around.
During a partial shift these aspects just sort of increase; e.g. His teeth are threateningly sharper, his nails are bigger and harder, his ears become a little fluffy and more canine in appearance, and his tail become bigger and sort of gains a mind of its own.
During a full shift, his fur is dark brown, wild and curly, and oh, so fluffy. If it wasn't for all the large, sharp teeth and pointy claws he'd be nothing more than a giant, fluffy, St. Bernard. He still has his facial scars and is also missing his nose in his wolf form, so his sense of smell, unlike most werewolves, is significantly weaker. For the actual build, he's just like a typical werewolf form. Unless he's on all fours, then he could have a chance of passing as a strange breed of... something. Something big.
There is an urge to shift on a full moon, and no matter what he'll experience a partial shift, but he can resist shifting completely on a full moon, he's just more irritable and snappy when he does. It's easier just to let it happen and get through the night. He can also shift in other ways as well.
For one, he shifts with extreme emotions. Anytime he feels threatened, scared, or angry, he's much more likely to experience a full shift, but he can experience partial shifts from being excited or happy or really just any 'big' emotion. He spent a lot of time working on controlling his shifting, so honestly it takes a lot to really corner him into an unwilling full shift.
Despite this, however, he can't just shift on command. He's a pretty anxious guy, so most of the time if he tries to shift with no real rhyme or reason he ends up psyching himself out of it all together.
The state of his consciousness during a full shift really depends on what made him shift in the first place.
If it's a voluntary, full moon shift, he's present and aware, if a little clouded by the transformation, and most of the time during regular full moon shifts, he's rather docile and peaceful. He's a bit more excitable, but there's no danger with being around him during this time.
If the shift is involuntary however, i.e. brought on by being cornered with big, negative emotions, it's a different story.
If he shifts out of fear, or feeling threatened in some way, he's much less present during this time, sort of stuck in a panic state, but as long as you're not what set him off, it's pretty easy to coax him back. Careful words and soft affection will help him calm down and shift back.
If he shifts out of anger, or protectiveness, i.e. someone threatens someone in his family, it's much, much worse.
Thomas is a very calm, albeit anxious man. He has his fair share of anger issues, but it mostly stems from other people's mistreatment of he and his family, in other words, it's more of a righteous, justifiable anger. It's just as easy to stay on his good side as it is to get on his bad side, but it takes a lot of the bad to really make him snap.
All that to say that it takes a lot to force this man to shift out of anger. I mean you have to go to the low of the low. I'm talking hurt/kill someone he cares about in front of him levels. It's not an easy feat.
And if you do manage to pull it off... Well, let's just say I hope God has more mercy on your soul than Thomas does.
He's completely blacked out during this, there's not a single ounce of him present at this time, nor is there any possible way to pull him out of it. The best thing you can do is just let it happen, and if possible, lock him in the basement until it's over. It may sound harsh, but no one is safe when he's actually snapped.
Now that we've covered the basics, we can move onto some general headcanons for him.
♡ For one, he sheds. A lot. He's an overgrown dog living in Texas, there's really no way to avoid it. He's great to have around during the winter months, but when spring starts to shift to summer he's gonna lose that winter coat- everywhere.
♡ He hates being treated like a dog, he's still a person and he won't take kindly to being treated like a mutt. Especially after the Hewitts begin their rampage- he was put down his entire life, he won't take it anymore. i.e. he HATES the word mutt
♡ During any sort of voluntary or positive shift, he's really just a big teddy bear. Due to the fact that he has to work during the day, and shift during the risen full moons at night, he's pretty exhausted and just wants to sleep.
♡ While his mask does also double as a muzzle, he hates wearing one. It's a requirement for his job, and since he prefers wearing a mask while he's in his human form, wearing it isn't an issue at all, but the insinuation behind a muzzle insults him.
♡ He wore a collar when he was a child because he had a lot less control and people would often have to bring him back home to the Hewitts after he'd run off to play during a shift.
♡ He tends to spend most of his full moon shifts alone in the basement, which the Hewitts sort of made his 'wolf' room after adopting him, so he has a place to go when he shifts, or in the extremely unlikely event he snaps, they can lock him in so he's safe from himself and others. He still has his regular bedroom upstairs he uses most of the time.
♡ A full shifts tends to rip and shred his clothes (a very expensive and/or time consuming repair) so when he knows it's going to happen he just strips down to a too big pair of boxers, which, seeing a werewolf in barely fitting boxers is an absolute sight. So there's that. It's not an issue since he's normally alone in the basement, any sort of surprise or involuntary shift just absolutely obliterates his clothing.
I can't really think of anymore headcanons at the moment, so I'll just go ahead and dive into the backstory and how this would affect his upbringing.
So, for one, we need to establish more ground rules before we begin. Is Thomas the only creature lurking the night or is this a normal in the universe? If it's a one off, was he born this way, or did it happen in some freak accident later in life?
Well, if he was the only one born with it then the Hewitts would have kept him safely locked away in the house his entire life, save he be burned at the stake. So he'd be much more isolated and feral than he already is and he'd probably really only be 'freed' once the Hewitts begin killing people and the town is abandoned.
If it was some freak accident he'd be much more feral and, if this is before the town all fled, he'd be locked away or burned at the stake. Notice the reoccurring theme?
So, we'll go ahead and place him in a creature universe and say he was born with it, just to give him fair fighting ground.
So, in this universe of creatures, werewolves aren't the only monsters, but they are very powerful ones. Which, unlike some people might think, would bode against Thomas rather than turn in his favor.
Due to his skin condition and feeble health from a young age, most people just assume the Hewitts took mercy in their adoption because Thomas' biological parents abandoned him in shame, even though this AU will follow the original storyline of the movie.
See, it's particularly interesting to apply this filter over the idea of the original movie, because in the original movie, Thomas is shamed and shunned because people believe him to be a monster, but in this AU, monsters are normal. Now you've got the lesser monsters viewing him as dangerous, and the other bigger monsters viewing him as something lesser.
But it's still the same principle, so honestly I don't think there'd be too many differences in his character and personality.
There's a few changes, sure, but it's things like, he hates being treated like a dog, or being called a mutt, and instead of just calling him names and treating him like a freak, they force him to wear a muzzle because 'you never know when he might snap'. Nothing that fundamentally changes his character or behaviors.
As for romantic relationships, I think it's pretty much the same sort of deal. Nothings really changed so much as there's just a few new things to consider.
Before I list a few things about this, here's a preface.
Thomas, no matter what, sort of has that 'forever mate' mentality. He doesn't believe in the sort of 'modern' dating of today. There's no brief talking period and jumping straight into a relationship until it gets serious and then dipping. It's a long, long time of a platonic relationship, and once you start 'dating'- that's it. He's in it for life. You're his one forever. So, it's not really fair to be like "oh he's a wolf he mates for life" because he already does. So I won't be really defining if there's any way to 'permanently' claim a partner in this- that's up to y'all! Decide whatever your little heart desires. I just believe his character already has the mentality for it so there's no reason to add something like that in.
Ok, onto the headcanons!
♡ He normally prefers shifting alone but he begins enjoying having you around for it, and gets a little disappointed when you can't/don't.
♡ Even in a relationship he doesn't like being treated like a dog/called a mutt, even in a joking tone. It's a big No-No.
♡ He's very clingy and possessive and prefers sleeping dog pile style (i.e. one of you on top of the other)
♡ I already believe that Thomas loves having his hair played with, but I think wolf!Thomas has a particular appreciation for when you start stretching his scalp
♡ Thomas (while he has a weaker sense of smell for a wolf) has a great sense of smell for a human, and if you come home smelling like someone else (especially another wolf) he tends to get irritable (though he tries to hide his frustration) whether it was intentional or not
♡ He growls a lot. I don't need to tell you when
♡ Ok, this last thing may sound crazy, but my parents have a dog, and after I got my cat, he realized humans think it's cute when cats purr, and so he started... grunting. Like he was trying to purr. Thomas does that too, like a deep rumble in his chest when he's really content
Anyway, that's all I have for now. Maybe I'll add more if I think of anything.
Thanks for sending in the ask! <3

Any really weird or funny things in the LoZ games you think deserve attention in LU fics?
Oh, a bunch. Where to start?
Firstly: they should play more minigames. Especially dancing. Weird that the Gorons moved on to wrestling as their main sport by Twilight's era; frankly that's a downgrade. Legend and Time should remind them what tradition looks like.
And some minigames are just... ridiculously dangerous? They would make GREAT crack fics. Any myths of Sky being normal and well-adjusted would crack under the weight of that game where you get shot out of a cannon and then skydive down to slam your face into a giant roulette wheel. Or that game from Labrynna (Legend) where this Goron throws a whole heap of bombs at you to see if you can dodge them. Only slightly safer than a similar game involving cuccos.
And on the more serious side of lore that I think is under-explored: the Royal Family has a daaaark side. In a lot of ways, really, which are HINTED at in the games, but rarely actually detailed. For example, it's mentioned in Twilight Princess that the Royal Family have been exploiting the Twilight Realm since LONG before the Twilight Realm started fighting back. And in TotK's ancient Hyrule, we never did find out what happened with the rest of the Zonai, or how exactly Rauru ended up in charge of things.
Ocarina of Time has the darkest portrayal of the Royal Family - even though Zelda is the only member of that family that you ever actually see (the king is somewhere offscreen at the time you meet her). Although everything seems fine and normal at first - notwithstanding the giant war that happened before the start of the game and which left Hyrule Field SWARMING with undead - you eventually come across Bottom of the Well and the Shadow Temple, which uhh... don't paint the Royal Family or Sheikah in a particularly nice light.
And then there's Zelda II's background lore from the game booklet, which says that a king from long ago created the monsters that guard the Palaces:
Tumblr media
Are we just going to skip past the fact that the King can create monsters?? That feels important! When and how did he learn to do that? Does that have anything to do with how Dead Hand and Bongo Bongo came into existence? Or anything to do with BotW's Guardians, WW's Tower of the Gods, SS's Lanayru facility or the transformative shadow magic in TP? Possibly not, but it's fun to think about. Teehee conspiracy brain go brr.
There should be more spooky scary horror fics, maybe. Maybe I should write this. (It's vaguely included as a plotpoint in my longfic, but I am SLOW right now.)

a couple little vol 7 thoughts featuring vashwood brainrot 😎✌️
Tumblr media Tumblr media
man this scene makes my brain itch on so many different levels lmao, like on the surface level wtf wolfwood!! we’ve just had all these chapters explicitly digging into how vash has a Problem where he tries to hide his pain under empty smiles- and in fact wolfwood clocked that about him pretty much instantly back when they first met! so of course badgering him about ~looking sad~ (especially when he started the page with a neutral to mildly glum expression) is just gonna make him try harder to cover it up, and that’s exactly what he does with that stupid little smile on the second page 😔
but wolfwood’s whole point here is that that shit isn’t gonna work on him no matter how hard vash tries! unfortunately wolfwood is also emotionally constipated as hell, so it comes out as aggression and teasing rather than anything genuine.
actually i just gotta revisit that earlier moment here because the contrast is just fascinating lmao
Tumblr media Tumblr media
like goddamn wolfwood really came in hot with the sincerity in that first meeting, how did we go from that to this?? was it just because they were strangers then, and wolfwood thought he could get away with saying shit like that because their paths might never cross again? this was also before ww got his assignment from Knives- did he not know this was the boss’s brother? he probably didn’t realize the twins’ inhumanity at that point either… he’s had a lot to grapple with over the course of this assignment, both re: the twins’ apocalyptic power, and the fact that he has to betray vash at the end of it, that would naturally create a need for emotional distance. allowing honesty and attachment with vash puts too much at risk.
so really, given that very high-stakes need for distance, it’s telling that wolfwood still can’t help expressing his awareness of vash’s suffering & investment in cheering him up, even if it comes out in such a ridiculous way lol
it also seems like a clumsy/oblique way of trying to reassure vash that he’s still a person? vash’s inhuman nature has come more to the forefront lately- losing control in the dragon’s nest, regaining the memory of all the death he caused in july, catching that bullet with a feather only for the whole town to turn against him for it- and it’s clearly been weighing on him. so wolfwood acknowledges that angle by calling him all those awful things- “the legendary devil gunman, the humanoid typhoon”- but immediately discredits them by pointing out vash’s softheartedness.
idk i also have one more little bit of brainrot about the moment they share leaving the bar, acknowledging that things are about to get serious with Knives
Tumblr media
like goddamn there’s so much meaning packed into that exchange!! it’s the closest they really come to acknowledging their whole “you know i know you know” deal around wolfwood’s assignment. (hah, “i told you from the start…”, fuck. ) like, openly telling vash that knives sent him would break the plausible deniability that wolfwood is simply fulfilling his mission, and that would put the orphanage in danger. at the same time, he has been 0% subtle and never actually *lied* to vash about it either- the few times vash has asked direct questions, wolfwood has given him vague answers or conspicuous silence and allowed him to draw his own conclusions.
so this seems like their weird twisty way of setting mutual expectations for what’s going to happen next. wolfwood is vash’s “guide”, no more and no less- he has enough insider information to bring vash safely to his brother’s door, but past that point wolfwood will stay out of the confrontation. it’s the one thing wolfwood and both brothers all agree is best, whether they like it or not. god wolfwood’s face in that last panel kills me
i am absolutely normal about this

the thing about barbara is, her image, how she appears to others, is so fundamental to her that it's what propels her. she's always conscious of it, all the time, and the cameras have only exacerbated it. it's like that adage about swans, right? she appears so graceful and put-together and effortlessly perfect on the surface, but underneath her legs are kicking like crazy. she thinks everything through, she isn't spontaneous, she isn't off-the-cuff, she doesn't go with the flow, she commands the flow, the flow follows her, thank you very much. in conversations you can see her go through her mental flowchart of responses to things to figure out which will paint her in the best light. during talking heads it's almost like she's reading from a script, compared to everyone else - she's thought it all through, and has an Exact way she wants to present herself. so much of her brain space is dedicated to keeping up this image of herself as the perfect, dutiful, responsible, dependable Everything.
but melissa is a chisel, an ice pick, a jackhammer, could be her undoing so easily, ruin a lifetime of building a reputation. she's not supposed to want her. she has it all, right? a devoted husband, two beautiful daughters, a career where she's looked up to and respected.
to want more is greed.
thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife.
but she does. and that's terrifying. and thrilling.
but she wants melissa to be happy. melissa doesn't belong to her, as much as she might want that. melissa deserves to be loved, the way gerald loves barbara. she watched as a bystander as melissa's relationship with joe crumbled, and the way it devastated her, and the way melissa undervalues herself, gives up on herself sometimes, the way she thinks herself totally unworthy of love or tenderness, makes barbara want to ride in on a white horse and show her how she could be loved, should be loved. but she can't. especially now, more than ever, when there are eyes on her all the time, waiting for her to slip. she can't slip.
it's not even just that she's a woman, it's that it's melissa. sweet melissa, from the wrong side of the tracks, with a rap sheet just this side of being able to keep her career, with a sordid history of shady doings that would have her congregation scandalised. even if she was a man, even if gerald was out of the picture, melissa wouldn't fit the image. even just being melissa's friend is a constant challenge because she's always testing the boundaries of what is acceptable or appropriate behaviour. some of the things she says are terrifying and illegal. and deep down, it makes barbara feel alive, that she's some sort of accomplice. she's jealous of her freedom, she's jealous of how she lives her life out-loud, how she takes life by the balls in a way barbara never could. if people only knew. if people only knew that she'd turn her whole life upside down for someone like her -
(as much as the her of melissa schemmenti is also an image. a carapace. a threat display. keeping people out, so they don't see the soft belly that barbara knows probably better than anyone, and cherishes the trust of being given it)
- but she wants her, and she can't stop it. and if she keeps the thoughts inside her head, then she's not hurting anyone, right? and nobody can judge her, only God, who hates the sin, not the sinner. and it's not a sin, if she does not act on it. it's a fantasy, make-believe, like the stories she reads to the children.
she can read into their relationship anything she wants, the looks, the touches, the what-could-bes, those drunken... near-misses. and picture the life they could have, in a different life, to her heart's content - without any damage to her image because it's hidden under all the layers of carefully applied paint.
Tumblr media
she has to swallow everything down and push it out, into pushing melissa into the arms of somebody else.
what greater expression of love is there, than steering them towards it elsewhere, at the expense of your own happiness?
plus, if she can't have melissa, then somebody needs to, because otherwise the temptation to bite the apple is too much.
barbara howard loves a boundary, loves to follow the rules.
melissa in another person's arms is a boundary that should keep her out.
but she can't help but think she could do it better.
she can dream about how she'd do it better.
a person can like two people at once.
she does, whether she likes it or not.
------------------------
but scottie, what about in that other life, where they get together?
i still think it'd be barbara.
melissa, i think, or how i picture her, is that she's had decades of coming to terms with the fact that barbara is out of bounds and that she cannot have her. and so she's just had to learn to be satisfied with what she does have. i think she does get jealous, and i think it was probably worse when they were much younger, but now she's just sorta. coasting. leveled-out. done enough crying. figured out how to cope with it. knows what she can and can't do after years of feeling out where the boundaries are. so when she actually gets the girl in the end? i don't think she'd be jealous of other people giving barb attention, i think she'd be peacocking around, because nah, that's my girl, can you see her? isn't she gorgeous, stunning, amazing, wonderful? yeah i'd hit on her too, i get it, i hit on her for years. but it's me she's coming home to! aren't i lucky? do you wanna see our wedding photos? she looked so beautiful. no? ok, bye.
but barb. oh ho ho. i think barb would get the green-eyed monster something fierce. i don't think it would go away even after they got together. i think she'd become very territorial, because if she had to risk it all to get the girl in the end, she's not going to let that slip through her fingers. she didn't repress herself for all those years not to absolutely devour melissa once she finally could, for the rest of her days. she'd finally get to say all those proud, loving thoughts about melissa out loud that she couldn't let slip. the way she talks about gerald in the show? that would be her with melissa. talking about her like the cat who got the canary. melissa this, melissa that, she'd be so annoying about it. there would be no doubt to anyone in earshot who melissa belongs to, are you listening? that's my wonderful wife. mine. so anyone else flirting with her? they'd learn, pretty damn fast, in that understatedly terrifying way barbara has when she gets Serious. and ok, maybe sometimes melissa gets a little deliberately handsy or looksy with other women. pokes the bear a little. just so barbara feels compelled to remind her who she belongs to when they get home... hehe. but it's ultimately about finally being free to love each other and not wanting anything to ever come between them ever again, more than anything else. they did enough waiting.

WW Normal Album Analysis (pt. 4(?)) 💜
Back at it again, people!
I've been wanting to do this again for a while, since I haven't in actual months. And since @interfacefox 's request won, here I am again because even after almost a year of liking Will's music, my fixation refuses to cease.
If you know what's going on, then you know my whole normal album theory, but if not, here's a link to my last few posts where I analyzed the normal album and puked my thoughts out for people to see:
- Part 1: https://www.tumblr.com/dappydaffer/733190401716027392/this-rant-im-about-to-go-on-will-probably-not?source=share

I'm not only doing this because of interface, but this is a song I have been itching to do for a while, despite how lengthy/complex it seems, and the song I'm going to be analyzing is...
Black Box Warrior
(I am, however, splitting this up into parts. This shit is waaaay too much for me to analyze in one sitting, so you get the chorus and first (maybe couple) of verses for now-)
• • • • • • • • • •
Although I've heard the song was simply just a challenge for Will lyrically and musically, there is a theory I strongly believe about this song, and that it's an allusion/reference to the illegal human experimentation program, MKUltra, which started in 1953, and continued until 1973. The experiment itself was run and designed by the CIA and its sole purpose was to test means of psychological torture, effects of drugs, and even brainwashing in order to force confessions out of people.
(I mean, hell, even the title is a spinoff name of the experiment itself - "OKULTRA-")
(Read more about it here, it is genuinely interesting as hell: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MKUltra)
• • • • • • • • • •
In bits and pieces throughout the song, starting with the first verse, the lyrics have convinced me the song is either a doctor describing the horrid side effects a now-deceased patient endured due to the means of getting confessions out of them, or an unknown narrator is making it seem like the victim/patient's side effects was this nonsensical, psychedelic adventure, when it reality, it was far much worse.
Lyrics that either allude to the side effects or hint at this possibility at all within the first verse and chorus include:
"Trojan Horse'd his blood brain barrier and raised the LD-50.."
I belive the trojan horse invading the "brain barrier" is a metaphor relating to the obliviousness of this particular victim, or MKUltra patients in general, to the psychologically damaging actions being inflicted on them, and the effects they are yet to bring on them. The trojan horse tale tells of greek invaders successfully tricking the Trojans into letting them in, making it seem as if a giant wooden horse were a gift. The victim could also be seeing, or being told so by doctors inflicting them, that these experiments are for the greater good, when it really is just a heap of psychological torture and abuse in disguise, slowly and surely going to attack and seep in once it gets past the patient's defenses. Instead of immeadiately attacking, I believe that's where the LD-50 part of the metaphor kicks in. LD-50 is a term that refers to the amount of chemicals given, which causes 50% of the deaths in a group of test animals (usually before releasing the chemical to public) - Not only does this imply that patients are simply just treated like disposable test objects before they officially solidify these means of interrogation/testing as part of the criminal justice system, but it also shows that once the patient's defenses are downed/weakened, the LD-50 (lethal dose) can be further pushed to see how far the testing can go until the patient confesses or succumbs to the side-effects of the torture.
"- the Black Box Warrior, He skipped this town and headed straight down history-"
While I'm certain black box could be a reference to something else, I believe it not only refers to how CIA Director, Richard Helm ordered evidence of the project to be destroyed before the public was informed about it in 1975, but also alludes to how it adds confidentiality to the patient being referred to and personifies him as a stastistic or another case to destroy and rid of in the eyes of those in charge. Him "heading straight down history" could also be an allusion to how he simply just forgotten and/or killed off so easily and quickly, joining others who passed, and waiting for new patients to join him who will only get treated the same as he did, due to the abuse and effects inflicted by doctors.
"Roman candles at both ends in his synapses"
Burning both ends of the candle is a common phrase that exaggerates or tells that oneself is overworking or doing too much or burning themselves out, etc. Whilst synapses are spaces between cells that transmit nervous impulse (correct me if I am wrong). The patient in question having roman candles at both ends of their synapses is what I believe to be physical sensory overload or the "LD-50 being raised" far too high to the point of his nervous system going haywire. LSD was a common psychoactive drug used in MKUltra and when one takes LSD, the nervous system can be/is heavily effected (depending on how heavy the dosage) and from what science can conclude; since synapses, a part of the nervous system, facillitate communication between neurons via transmission of signals in neurotransmitter forms, and therefore play vital roles in the brain functioning properly (perception, memory, emotions, etc.), burning metaphorical roman candles at the ends of this patients' synapses implies that a scary, damn near lethal dose of LSD has been injected into the patient by doctors working for MKUltra.
"Shields himself from reason in a Kevlar baby-blue Tuxedo"
I believe here the song is panning to the doctor and a 3rd person point of view of what his intentions/thoughts are. Scrubs that doctors wear are typically a shade of "baby-blue," and kevlar is a material commonly used in bullet proof vests. With the doctor wearing a metaphorical baby-blue bulletproof vest, it could symbolize that the doctor may have a heart to at least barely acknowledge that what he is doing is wrong, however, it is his job to do so for the project, therefore he may be rationalizing and hiding behind his status as a doctor (hence the tuxedo metaphor, as I view tuxedos as a sign of high social/financial status) in order to dodge the bullet of actual reason (hence, the kevlar reference).
"If it was going to kill you boy, it would have by now / There's no more looking back, it's looking up or looking down"
This piece of the chorus really feels like a "ride or die" statement towards the alleged patient. The song (or what I assume is the doctor) almost mockingly, or non-chalantly tells the patient that despite everything he has been put through, it wasn't enough to kill him and even though they have far enough pushed him past his physical and mental limit, he (the doctor) almost encourages this patient to continue on and comply with their experiments. This really shines a light on how little regard the higher ups of this program beared for the victims that were unfortunately involved. As for "looking up or looking down," I believe it is the doctor still telling the patient to continue on, until he dies, and either looks "up" to heaven, or "down" at hell. There truly is no more going back. The patient has to keep pushing and not only burn both ends of his synapses with the aforementioned metaphorical roman candles, he has to burn himself out physically and mentally until his body gives into the effects of the torture and LSD.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk....holy shit, that took way too long-
I hope you guys enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed writing this, and if you have your own Black Box Warrior/Normal Album/Will Wood theory, I'd love to hear them.
I promise I will add more to this analysis with a part 2, however, I may do other WW songs in between that time =)

To find you in the endless chaos of this planet, of this universe, was nothing short of a miracle. Two souls intertwined to thoroughly, no force could untangle that bond. Nothing could erase you from his being. In your eyes he sees the poems Rem used to read, in your embrace he feels at home, in your voice he hears a thousand unsung lullabies. You're a million dawns all at once, painting his world in vivid colors. You have been, every day, even in the darkest, most hopeless of days, nestled in his heart.
Tumblr media
I've seen a lot of people rant about the different versions of the character of Trigun and what is and isn't canon and how every iteration "ruins" something. And I've seen this slander the most when it comes to Tristamp Vash or just Vash in general. But here's the thing, I think they are all valid versions of him and they are all canon, they are simply different stages of him.
Welcome to my Ted talk on why I think every version of Vash makes perfect sense!
In my head the different versions of him evolve like this:
Pre-canon Vash before starting to lose his marbles
Tristamp Vash
Trigun '98 Vash (+ Badlands Rumble I guess)
Trimax Vash
And I think (hope) we will see this evolution through the later seasons of Trigun Stampede so I put the following into the context of if Tristamp explores the change in Vash.
Let's start with Tristamp Vash:
From the very first scene we see him in, it is clear that this man does not have all his ducks in a row. He has started to lose his mind and my guess is that most of it comes from the fact that he has realized that Kni has set his plans into motion, he has to act or everything he has tried to protect so far will go up in flames. But this takes a huge toll on him and shakes his very ideals, he is simply in denial about it. He puts on a mask and pretends everything is great, but he is shaken and he is angry.
People say that Tristamp Vash isn't angry, but how could you say that if so often when he has his gun pulled at someone truly evil and dangerous, he looks like he will fucking shoot them (EG Mine is probably the easiest example of that). I feel like the idea of "for the greater good" is sneaking into his head, but killing anyone is so opposite to what he believes in that it again tears at him.
He goes on this journey with Wolfwood and he knows that Wolfwood is there to babysit him, yet their ideals rub off on one another. They start very radical, especially WW, they both think they know when to pull the trigger. By the end Wolfwood gets softer in his views and Vash starts to see WW's POV too, enforcing the "sacrifice for the greater good" idea. The motif of WW and Vash changing each other is a core theme in every iteration of Trigun, but I put it here since it makes the most sense.
By the end of Tristamp S1 we have the July incident, it's something we haven't seen first hand in any other iteration of Trigun, it has always already happened so ofc this version of Vash is different, he only now goes through the incredible trauma of that event and he has his brain scrambled by Knives as a bonus.
This brings me to Trigun '98 Vash:
This man barely has any ducks left and they are scattered to the wind. The placement or Eriks is a bit difficult considering where it happens for the other versions, but I believe that when we get to Tristamp S2 we will pick up with Eriks who has lost most of his memories due to Knives meddling in them and also his brain trying to protect him from the trauma of July.
The Vash that comes after Eriks is goofy and childlike, I believe he has gone quite mad, but still forces a mask onto himself, in conflict not only with his fragmented mind, but also his moralities. If S1 Vash says he can't help himself, his body reacts before he can to protect others, then '98 Vash does it knowingly. He takes the full abuse of gunfire knowing full well what he is getting himself into.
I think he finds freedom and relief in letting the craziness out a bit, the way he plays with children and interacts with the bad guys, he embraces the madness, but not enough to show his true self because he doesn't even fully know what that is.
Trimax Vash is quite similar to '98 Vash, but goes through another big development (Warning: some spoilers for Tirimax, duh):
It is very gradual the change from one version to another here, but the biggest difference happens when he regains the knowledge of what happened in July and Kni's return. It will probably be a Creature Vash moment where his Plant powers go berserk again, unlocking even more of his latent abilities he is not aware of and doesn't know how to control. So far he has been very human, since the beginning he has had this idea of himself being useless as a Plant, he has been under the impression that he doesn't have any powers and that he only has human needs (food, water, sleep). But his gunmanship alone won't be enough to stop Kni, he has to embrace his Plant side, he has to learn to control it. And once he starts getting the hang of it, he is able to save even more people than he would have before.
Trimax Vash, especially towards the end is a lot more confident, he has a better understanding of his morality and he has added tools to fulfill it. He still is a pacifist, he actively chooses to be good, he always has, but the motivation and doubt surrounding it has shifted a bit over time
The version of Vash that we have at the very end of Trimax in a way circles back to the Vash before July and Wolfwood, an earlier, slightly more sincere version of Vash without loosing the lessons learned from the past. The mask he has worn for so long falls away and he can feel genuine happiness because he is no longer driven by guilt, he has atoned in his mind.
Pre-canon Vash:
We know very little about Vash's past. Sure, we see a little bit of his childhood on the ship with Rem and Kni, we see glimpses of him with the crew on Home and we saw the incident where he activated his Angel Arm for the first time and lost his left arm due to it. But after that it's a whole lot of nothing. He is a very tragic character since basically day one, from a very young age he has been thought to pretend to be human in front of those who don't know his nature. A mask has been forced onto that 1 year old child. Not to mention the Great Fall and the guilt from that's pushing him forward and remaining his central force for the next 150 years.
I think after he became a drifter he learned to be even more human, he perfected his mask and lived as a human because leaving out the interactions with the Plants who needed his help, he only knew the human ways, his sisters were in a tank, their true nature locked away in a higher dimension anyway, the only other being like him on the whole planet is Kni and he hasn't seen him since he declared that in 100 years he will eradicate humanity, the very thing Vash loved so much.
Drifter Vash is probably the sanest version of him, confined to a routine of constantly moving on. But I also think that's the most naive and innocent version of him. In July WW comments that Vash freezes up as soon as a human is put in front of him and I think that's quite a defining characteristic of him in this period. A very stubborn outlook to life where he feels the need to save everybody and he would sacrifice himself for that rather than pick up arms to even get himself out of a sticky situation. He only shoots to save others, but not himself because he thinks he is expendable.
He lives in denial for the next 100 or so years following losing his arm with the same mindset of feeling like he needs to save everybody he can, even making promises he can't keep (like in the case of Rollo). When the Plant robberies start and probably even before that Vash realizes that Kni's plan has been set into motion and it will probably only make his guilt worse, knowing that he will have to go after Kni and save him too, otherwise his beloved humanity will pay the price for his inaction. And that's the start of his mental downfall leading into Tristamp S1. And perhaps there are other attributing factors...
This concludes my speech on the topic. I love this character and the intricacies of it and while everybody has a right to their own opinion, this is my understanding of it and I do truly hope that Trigun Stampede will continue exploring Vash's character and how trauma changes a person.
Feel free to expand on these ideas! I'm happy to discuss all of this in the notes or in my inbox :)
My fic Tempest Wind takes place before the events of Tristamp and this long, yet brief character analysis might help people understand the character arc of Vash in my story.
Tempest Wind is a 18+ Vash x F!Reader fic with some spice, some gore, a bit of action and a lot of fluff, for added flavor there's a sprinkle of angst too ofc.
Until I have finished the whole story, feel free to indulge in the published DEMO chapters:
Perfect Morning - domestic fluff, intimacy, mild smuttiness, shy Vash
Festivities - delusional bliss on an unfamiliar planet with weird traditions, ice skating and sweet Vash
Burn - basically smuttiness with little actual plot
Keep an eye out for a new demo chapter coming withing the next two weeks. It's gonna be Vash trying to seduce the reader before they get together!

Well what in tarnation-
Um hello 👉👈 funny seeing you guys here...uh...come here often? Still wondering about my silly little writing? Oh haha...yeah...about that...
Crazy how fast time flies when you have time blindness.
So let's get the big stuff out of the way. I am no longer writing Wolfwater, WCA, or M715 as interactive fiction. I am still writing the stories, but no longer as interactive fiction.
No one knows what's happening with dragon smut because it was just a silly little side project so as of right now it's on indefinite hiatus/canceled.
But the other three are still deep in the holes of my brain. These characters mean a lot to me at this point. But I've lost the passion to make them IFs. Not only is it way too much work for my Swiss cheese ADHD brain to stay focused on, writing is also something I can just kinda do mindlessly. But with IF I have to pay WAY closer attention, and that makes it a stressful thing, not a fun, relaxing form of expression.
To put it simply, it's way too much work that I don't want to do.
So where does that leave the stories? Well, as novels.
I've already started rewriting chapter 1 of Wolfwater, and I'll post it in it's entirety here when I'm finished. Some things have been changed, like now Alex is the protagonist. And given Alex obviously isn't interested in a lot of the romance options, one of the subplots will finally be Ezra and Aim kissing all on their own. Big day!
WCA will be split between Casey and Quincy’s POV's mainly, but there will be no serious changes to the plot, other than the fact that...well...you aren't there.
And M715 will be changed so that Zelda is the main protagonist. Again, very little to change in that story, other than shifting who things happen to.
The original playable IF version of WW ch1 will stay up forever if you ever want to reread it. And nothing is being deleted or changed on the patreon, all the original drafts will stay up. But they are not going to be edited again.
I know Wolfwater especially has been in the works for like 4 years, but unfortunately I used all my dopamine up writing Far Cry fanfiction when I was in middle school, so I'm now a very slow writer.
If you've been here a while, get ready for some deja-vu because: I'm leaving my job at the gas station soon and starting basically my dream job driving a truck. Just me and my dog in a truck all day, not a single customer interaction to be had. Hopefully around the end of summer I'll be there full time and can quit the gas station, which will be better for me. (I feel like I've seen this movie before....)
Um I struggle with genuineness but ummmm thank you to those that have stuck around while I was doing absolutely nothing. But I am writing again, I am back, everything is sorta back to normal.
Now stop looking at me 😖

Could I req Cater, Vil, and Trey using their unique magic during sex? (Like Cater's clones) Sorry if that isn't super specific ww
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
woman of venice ii
“control me more, darling.”
trey. cater. vil.
content warning(s): explicit content, brief mention of torture (not used within the actual smut), gangbang
—To feel is to be human. Humans were unique due to the vast range of their emotions, their senses, and their ability to react accordingly to these phenomena. It was no wonder that stripping someone of their senses entirely was one of the most cruel yet effective forms of torture, because at its very core, it stripped its victim of their thoughts: their humanity.
You wonder if that is what Trey’s goal is, tampering with all of your senses. Ever since he whispered “Doodle Suit” and left you in this drunken trance, your body can only register him and all the things he’s doing to you. Your vision blurs, your mouth runs sweet, and your skin is so, so much more sensitive than it should be to his every touch.
His fingers ghost over your thighs, and you nearly scream at the sensation. He watches you with eyes blown open wide with lust, almost like he doesn’t recognize that he’s the one who’s manipulating your body.
“T-Trey…! Please…,” you plead, bucking your hips against nothing. He stays silent, continuing to massage the soft flesh of your legs with his big hands, and he observes the way your sex drools and keens for attention as if you were the one that put him under a spell instead.
He traces your heat with a curious finger, and your body shudders with shock. It isn’t fair of him to do this to you, to make you want him so much more than you should because of that stupid spell of his, and all you can think about in your sex-crazed mind is how good it would feel for him to spear you on his cock, to grind down on his girthy shaft and feel his balls lewdly rubbing against the curve of your body, to willingly surrender yourself—body, soul, and conscious—to him.
“Feels good, doesn’t it? I never knew I could do this to you… Never thought I could be so powerful.” He savors the way you crumble beneath him, any morsel of pride thrown out the window. It makes some greedy, hungry monster inside his chest purr with ecstasy knowing that he single-handedly tore you down in such a humiliating manner. “Stay strong, sugar plum. If you’re going crazy over me just teasing you, how in the world do you expect to take my cock fully?”
That you don’t know. All you care, through your half-lidded eyes, is that you want it, and you want it now. But Trey seems to think otherwise, and your brain desperately clings to the final strains of logic that wisp around in your mind, slowly falling deeper and deeper into that torturous spell of his.
—”Fuck, you look so cute…”
You can barely think. Your skin’s sticky and heavy with all the bodies pressed against you, and your mind feels even more fogged and dizzy. Cater sits a bit away, his fist wrapped around his swollen cock as he jerks himself off. His clones ravage your body, each one whining and trying to get your attention on them.
“S-So tight…! Cay-kun’s gonna cum!”
“Does this feel good? Do you like it when lots of Cay-kuns show you love?”
“C-Cumming…!”
Your hole burns with how much his cock has rutted into you. The moment one clone finishes inside you, another takes its place. Your hands keep jerking off the ones who aren’t fuck you, and each of them glower with jealousy at one another for taking up your attention.
The real Cater continues to edge himself. His balls twitch and clench up—seeing you being overwhelmed turns him on like nothing else! You look so weak and cute, your brains all fucked out and body overrun by all of his clones! His stomach coils and twists with heat. He wishes he could watch you being fucked out like this forever, but Cater knows perfectly well that he can only last for so long using his unique magic so strenuously like this.
And the greedy boy knows that he would never, ever let another man see you in such a state. He loves being denied, being held off from touching you the way he loves most, but he only takes it because in some twisted logic, it’s still him having sex with you. Albeit his clones, but it’s not another guy you’re running off too.
Cater flicks his fingers over the head of his cock, shuddering at the pleasure running up his body. He stares at you, his lovestruck eyes blown open wide with lust. He must look so pathetic to you, panting like a dog as he masturbates to the sight of you being overtaken by himself.
“Cay-kun’s making you feel good, right?” He asks. His voice is laced with a kind of needy desperation. You can’t even answer him, too focused on surviving for the moment, and he giggles brokenly to himself. “I’ll make you feel so good! Do you like it when lots of men give you attention like this? Don’t worry then! All the Cays here will give you as much attention as you want!”
—You can’t move your body. Your limbs are locked in place, and Vil hovers over you. The sheer amount of cum that leaks down your thighs from how much he’s used your body to pleasure himself seems almost impossible, but you should know better than to doubt the ambitious man he is. He grits his teeth as he grinds into you again, his grimoire ditched off to the side as he digs his nails into your hips.
“Hah… My idiotic darling,” he whispers. “Did you really take me to be a kind, patient man? Useless fools like you are good for nothing but taking care of my dick.”
His magic is overpowering, just like who he is. It’s that damn curse of his that keeps you in place, leaving your gut swirling and turning in on itself whenever the thick head of his cock punches your sweet spot deep in you. It would be so easy to cry and beg for mercy normally, but Vil needs to let off steam. And if cursing you with his unique magic to satisfy himself is what it takes, you’re more than happy to take the brunt of his wrath.
His thrusts are rhythmic but rough, leaving you slumped over his bed as he brings his hips down against yours again and again. His cock won’t stop stretching your abused hole out, and whenever Vil switches positions to fuck into you at a new angle, the pressure coiling up inside of you becomes unbearable.
It’s absolutely unfair how good he feels, even when he’s reduced your body to nothing more than a sex toy for him to use. Your grip on reality is fading, and you can easily see how you’d get hooked onto something as dangerous as this.
But being his sex doll wouldn’t be such a bad thing now, would it? You’re sure the man holding onto your body for dear life would treat you so sweetly. He’d take care of you so long as you’re willing to depend on him and put your life in his hands. It would be so easy to just let go…
