Sundays meant one thing for you and Namjoon. It’s the day of the week where you both spend time together. This time, it was Namjoon’s turn to pick and usually he would pick an art exhibition or his favorite museum but, surprisingly enough he picked an aquarium.

You hadn’t been to one since you were five years old. It was on a school trip, you and Namjoon being forced to walk side by side and hold hands like the rest. That’s the only thing you remember — oh, and that silly inside joke that got created that day.

There’s something everyone knows about Namjoon. He’s incredibly smart. Ever since he was little he was always infatuated by random but very important facts — as he called them.

You were determined that jellyfishes were called roundy fishes. Which isn’t really a word but you were certain! It made sense to you, and Namjoon laughed when you shrieked how you were extremely excited to see the roundy fishes, until he discovered it was jellyfishes. Afterwards, he had made it his life mission to, one annoy you with the ridiculous name and two, give you every single fact about them.

Till this day, Namjoon still teased you with that.

The aquarium was the one from when you were small, basically where your friendship started to bloom. The thought of you being here with Namjoon almost 20 years later, made you nervous. A good nervous.

On your 20th birthday, you realized you were in love with Namjoon. It wasn’t even a special moment. He was just suddenly holding a silly tiny cake with a few candles and pushing you to make a wish as you blew on them. In that moment you had looked at him and something sparked in your heart. People would call it butterflies, but you called it a spark.

That spark never left. You weren’t exactly planning on ever telling him, his friendship meaning much more to you than ruining it by a confession.

Therefore, you kept it hidden. But, today he’s making it hard. Especially by showing up with a cute white sweater and his glasses.

Fuck.

“Ready to go see some roundy fishes?” Namjoon says, teasing you by knocking his elbow into yours.

“You’re still on that, I see.” You respond, trying to hide your smile as you both walk inside the aquarium.

The blue lights are all over the place, decorations of every living creature hanging on the walls.

Namjoon doesn’t even hesitate, dragging you by the arm directly towards the jellyfish.

You’re stunned by how beautiful they look. They’re moving in slow motion, creating what seems to be a whole different universe behind glass. It almost reminds you of the clumps of lava, floating in a lava lamp after you turn it on and let it sit for a few hours.

Somehow, you’re just standing in silence, admiring them silently while Namjoon stands next to you. He’s not saying anything either, but it’s a comfortable silence. It’s always like this with Namjoon. Just extreme comfort at all times.

You finally decide to turn your head towards Namjoon, noticing how he’s staring at you already. His expression is something you’ve never seen before. You can’t exactly pinpoint what he’s thinking, which is usually your best skill.

“What?” You ask.

“I’m in love with you.” Namjoon blurts out. Your eyes pop open by his words, mouth dropping silently as well.

What did he just say?!

“I—“

Namjoon seems to be getting out of his trance, smacking his lips and returning his gaze on the glass.

“Did you know that jellyfishes are 95% water?” Namjoon changes the subject quickly, spilling out every fact he has on your favorite fish.

“Namjoon.”

“They actually also have really short lifespans.” He continues, ignoring how you called out his name.

“Joonie.”

Namjoon returns his eyes to you. The nickname always does it for him.

“I’m sorry. I was just—“ He tries to explain before you cut him off.

“I’m in love with you, clumsy.”

Namjoon’s expression brings out a huge change. He begins to light up, almost turning the same color as the glowing jellyfishes.

“What.” He breathes out.

“Yeah.” You step closer.

“Holy shit.” Namjoon suddenly says. “You’re serious.” He points out, as if it wasn’t obvious before.

“You’re ridiculous.” You suddenly begin to laugh, your stomach feeling all kinds of weird because what just happened?!

“Wait. Since when have you..” He starts off.

“Since my 20th birthday.” You confess with confidence.

“Ha.” Namjoon chuckles. “I win.”

“Wait what?” You ask in confusion.

“Been in love with you ever since you called jellyfish roundy fishes.”

Fuck. He has got to be kidding.

Valentine HC

So there is like one hour of valentine's day here were I live, so let's do some HC just because...(i actually think valentine is a stupid thing, mostly because it's just not so big here; but stores tries to push it). Sugawara x Sawamura: Depend on year to year. Since Daichi is a cop, he will sometimes have a shift in the late evening or night, so they can't be doing much. Yamaguchi x Tsukishima Also depends if either of them have work or not. The museum closes earlier than the office Yamaguchi works at (if it's not holiday period with more tourists). But they usually just go out to eat and maybe catch a movie if they see anything that interest them. If they can't make the time cut, Tsukishima will drive over to Yamaguchi's work, if he is stuck at the office, and he would of course already have picked up some burger and fires ( so they will become soft when they arrive home). Yamaguchi, if he knows Tsukishima will be stuck working longer hours, he will also pick him up and have bought a store-bought cake they can share. They have been friends since childhood, they don't want or expect the other to give anything bigger than some food that they can share.

Kageyama x Hinata Both are athletes and busy. Sometimes they have late practice, sometimes they are out traveling with their sparte team, sometimes they are together, but still busy. I think neither of them would do too much. Maybe Hinata will buy a box of the jelly energy drinks Kageyama likes to have. Kageyama would probably do a similar favour back and buy him a pack of energy bars he could just stuff in his bag and have something to-go when he needs it. I do think they would both have tried at one point ot do something more romantic; but it wasn't for them and they have time for regular date night throughout the year - so they 'dont 'stress it too much. If they have time though, they make a heartly meal together and give each other massages.

As in Japan's, on valentine day; girls give chocolate to the guys. And a month late, the guys give chocolate back on white day (14th of March). So Tanaka of course gave chocolate back when it was time. They still stuck with the tradition, but also have a date night at a restaurant and just take a walk through the city centre. Tanaka tried to act though, but it doesn't take much for Kyoko to make him stumble over his words. Kiyoko also tries to act cool, but one romantic gesture from Tanaka have her blushing all over the place.

Iwaizumi x Oikawa They didn't get together until a few years after high school. Plus Oikawa plays for Argentina and Iwaizumi coaches the Japan's Men's volleyball team. So there's a hurdle. If they can make time and the time zones doesn't mess them up too much, they skype call for hours. If they, by miracle: is near each other, they have this weird way of rivalry since they support different teams and will often tease and goad on each other. They know it's just for fun. But when evening comes; they can always be seen walking the same path home. Oikawa one year sent Iwaizumi some money with the message to just buy himself a gift. And this started a tradition. They send over a small amount of money with the massage to just buy themselves a steam bun or a bar of cholate or some extra stuff they want with the massages to take care.

Ushijima x Tendou Ushijima is a very practical person and Tendou is literally a chocolatier in Paris. So they face some of the same problems Iwaizumi and Oikawa have. Tendou makes batch of his finest chocolate that Ushijima likes and sends it over with express delivery so it will arrive around valentines day. I feel like Ushijima is the kind of guy that likes those confectionary chocolates with nuts in them. Ushijima doesn't really understand the in's and out's of this day. He did receive more than enough confession and chocolate in school; but he never really cared about that. At the start, he didn't feel like he could give a chocolate-maker some cholate as a gift. Maybe it would have been too much. Doing something else out of the norm, made him feel like he didn't care enough. Now that he knows the people Tendou works with; he makes a deal that they go out and buy some flowers for him and a gift card on an eastern Asian themed restaurant that they go together when he is visiting paris. Tendou always appreciates it, especially since he misses Japan from time to time.

Fluttering wings

I visited a butterfly exhibit a while ago and I returned with brain worms.

This ficlet is a nod to one of my favorite chapters (Chapter 23) from one of my all time favorite fics, Ghost of Mine. I cannot recommend it enough, you guys give it a read, it's more than worth it!

A-Yuan had been raving about the butterfly exhibit to be displayed the local nature museum ever since he heard of it during a commercial break on the radio. Wei Wuxian had picked him up from school that day and, as they listened to music in the car - their little tradition to scream out songs to make the noon traffic more bearable - their favorite radio station played an announcement of an exotic butterfly exhibit temporarily taking a stop at the life sciences museum that weekend.

Given that butterflies happened to be the little one's favorite insects, and that Wei Wuxian could never tell him no when he used his widest, wettest puppy eyes, they arrived home with plans already set up for the next Saturday. It would be just the perfect way to spend the day together, pulling Lan Wangji into it as well - he had been working so hard lately, helping his brother run their family business after his long mental health break, that a day away from all those emails and phone calls could only be beneficial.

Expectedly, a lot of people had decided to spend their weekend the same way - so on the day of the exhibit, the queue was long and the spirits high despite the long wait.

The butterfly enclosure was a wide, glass greenhouse covered in vines and potted plants of varying sizes, as well as realistic branch twigs for the butterflies to hang onto. There were a few aquarium-shaped glass boxes for butterflies to rest in, fruit and fresh flowers awaiting them there. It looked magical, the way the colorful butterflies flitted about, dancing around the enclosure and around each other.

One of the caretakers noticed A-Yuan's starry eyes as he followed out the butterflies and handed him a large piece of orange.

"Hold this in your palm, and the butterflies will come to you." She said, with a smile. "The blue ones especially like citrus. They're called Giant Blue Morphos, because they grow so big!"

A-Yuan listened intently, and did as told, outstreching his palm for the butterflies to notice the treat.

In no time at all, a large, bright blue butterfly landed gracefully onto the orange slice, wings fluttering as if in excitement as it fed. Next to it, another species fluttered its wings to land, the black on them dotted with red and white markings.

"That is called a Red Admiral Butterfly." The caretaker explained. "This one and this Giant Blue Morpho specimen seem to have bonded, so where one is, the other is guaranteed to follow."

"Oh, just like baba and a-die!"

Lan Wangji's ears dusted pink as Wei Wuxian laughed. Indeed, just like them!

The butterflies flew away together a few seconds later and the caretaker showed A-Yuan where to place the orange slice for the other butterflies to find. Then, taken by the child's enthusiasm, she continued pointing out various species of butterflies to him.

"That one," she pointed towards a lone butterfly resting on a nearby branch, purple accents shining on its wings, "is called an Agathina Emperor. It lives in the Amazon rainforest, and it is our only purple colored butterfly. We are waiting for a female to be sent to us so he finally gets a girlfriend!"

"We also know of someone purple that needs a girlfriend." Wei Wuxian told Lan Wangji, who couldn't help a small laugh.

"And this one," the caretaker spoke as a light blue butterfly landed on her finger, "is a Northern Azure butterfly. He's one of my favorites, he's really social and whenever someone that's sad or upset in any way is around, he lands on their nose!"

The butterfly floated from the woman's finger on A-Yuan's, who took to admiring it intently.

"You can look around, take pictures and whatnot, enjoy the exhibit as much as you like! I have to go back to work, but if you have any questions, let me know!"

"Ok, thank you!" A-Yuan replied, very politely, earning a head pat from Lan Wangji in appreciation.

And so the woman returned to tending to the enclosure, while the family of three walked around, pointing towards the beautiful insects.

A shining flutter of wings suddenly caught Wei Wuxian's eye just as he was about to make a joke about uncle Lan Qiren being more like an old moth than a butterfly.

The little thing flew around Wei Wuxian, shining but transparent, like it was made of lace and sunlight. A closer look revealed it looking more like an origami butterfly, its markings spelling something unreadable. The butterfly then landed atop A-Yuan's head, batting its wings thrice, slowly.

Wei Wuxian blinked in the same rhythm, subconsciously and distant, faded images evoked in his mind - a dark plave, a tree stump, a child, a battle, a cave, a sword, please save him, I'm sorry and... thank you

There was a comforting hand placed onto Wei Wuxian's shoulder, and he recognizes it as his husband's, his voice soft though worried. "Wei Ying?"

He blinked away those images, the sounds ringing into his ears as they seemed to move further away until they became inaudible, and he shook his head as if to rid of them. "I'm fine, I'm fine... I just saw..."

But there was no sign of the odd butterfly that Wei Wuxian had seen, try as he might have to look for it. None of the insects flying about looked like it, and the little labels describing information about the species in the exhibit had no pictures similar to it.

Perhaps that wasn't a butterfly that lived there.

Perhaps it wasn't even a butterfly at all.

But whatever it had been, Wei Wuxian could only hope it found what it was looking for.

Do you have any tips for having fun alone out of the house? I’ve been going on walks but because I’ve struggled with agoraphobia in the past I p much always go to the same park instead of trying to find new places close by. I kind of need to know where I’m going so I feel at ease, which maybe kills them whimsy of a walk lol I’ve been thinking of going to watch a movie on my own, which I’ve never done, and maybe visiting public libraries and bookshops I haven’t been to yet. Anyway, only thing I probably wouldn’t do is go out to eat cause I hate eating in public (unless it’s a lil snack, that would be fine), but other than that I’m very open! Thank u angel 💫💗🪸

hi sorry i didn't see this the first time! very proud of ya for getting out there and taking these steps, it's not easy but it's always sooooooo worth it. i cant remember taking a walk/trip i've ever regretted, especially when i'm just hanging on my own. i think the movies, library and bookshops are all wonderful ideas!! you know what i do sometimes, i just look on google maps for things to do in my vicinity and then i plan a short excursion around it, like i super low pressure and low key, i just dip in to check it out. coffee shops, parks, local classes and community centers, museums are a good one, nature trails, shopping centers, you could go and get your hair done, maybe see some local live music. hell even a gym, just to get used to being around people again, and to get out there. i felt so silly when i started doing this at first, like some sort of robot trying to participate in regular human activities, often i still do. and it takes a lot of energy out of me, i can't manage it often tbh. but getting out of my head is so fucking important for my mental health it's insane. moving through the world and seeing that it's much much much muchhh bigger than me and my worries and just being a person and not a pair of eyes sleeping or crying or looking at a screen. it can feel like a lot of pressure, but once you've done it a few times it kinda becomes something to look forward to. and if i'm not in the mood i just tell myself i will stay for 10 minutes and then head home, like i'm always aiming to be super flexible and gentle with myself so i don't get discouraged from trying at all. something else that helps me get out of the house is taking headphones for the walk, and also taking my phone/camera to take pretty pics on my way along. just makes it feel a little easier and more fun because sometimes just leaving the house at all exhausts me. but honestly i have no hang ups on doing things alone and you shouldn't either - time spent with yourself is still time spent with the world etc etc. any effort you make is absolutely going to pay off, sometimes just in a short term way, sometimes in a long term way, and sometimes both! much love, i hope you're able to find a routine that works for you. <3

kenny loves café and museum dates, though he'd be a bit worried that he's not smart enough to impress you if you go to a museum. he just really likes going because all the stuff is cool, but he's not one of those guys that can tell you more than the guide on any given tour. he might try to prepare and do a bit of research beforehand to try to show off though :)

it's very easy to tell that he didn't just happen to know all that stuff, but nonetheless it's incredibly cute

his go-to would be a picnic in the nicest patch of woods that he can find. it's an easy choice because he's big on picnics in general, no matter where you are

he would pick some flowers for you and do his best to help you feel at ease. if you're new, you may be a bit worried about straying from the town even just a little bit, but he knows the place really well and he'd reassure you that the woods are safe as long as the sun is out

it'd be worth it when the knowledge of where you are begins to fade away. once you can no longer see colony house or the town, you start feeling like you could be on a normal hike, and that feels really nice

kenny would have changed out of his deputy uniform and into his nicest clothes for this and your heart would have nearly jumped out of your chest when you saw him looking like that for the first time <3<3

More Huntlow fanfiction, this time featuring jealous Hunter and teenage shenanigans at Walmart

Mrs. Noceda had taken them all out to this giant building she called Walmart, which she insisted was only one store, but to the four Boiling Isles natives seemed more like five stores in one. She thought it would be a good chance for them to buy some clothes they actually wanted to wear while also stocking up on cheap groceries and supplies seeing as she now had five mouths to feed she wasn't expecting.

Luz on the otherhand seemed to be treating the simple shopping trip like an educational field trip, showing the group around the store as if they were in a museum, eventually she was just left with Gus hanging on her every word even taking notes to bring back to the Human Appreciation Society and Hunter absently trailing behind the two of them. Both Willow and Amity had broken off into nearby sections when things had caught their eye while Vee and Mrs. Noceda were grabbing groceries on the other side of the store.

Hunter was zoning out as Luz explained exactly what the thin boxes holding shiny disks were for when he heard Willow giggling a couple of aisles away in front of the flower display. He turned towards the sound to see her talking to a human boy. Hunter couldn't help but feel himself tense up at the sight. He was trained to read people's body language in order to gauge their intentions in split-second glances, and this human boy's body language told Hunter everything he needed to know about his intentions towards Willow.

He was quite a bit taller than both her and Hunter, he had his arm up on the flower display shelves leaning over her casually with a smirk on his face and a look in his eye that made Hunter inexplicably want to get Willow as far away from him as possible. Hunter watched as the boy picked up a single red rose and held it out to Willow. He could see the blush slightly dusting her cheeks, and the smile she gave the human made Hunter's stomach flip in the complete opposite way it does when she's smiling at him.

"Hey, Luz," he spoke without taking his eyes off of Willow and the human. "You don't know that guy, do you?"

"Huh? Who?" Luz turned around startled out of her long-winded explanation of something called an MP3 player to look where Hunter directed her. "Oh wow, that's Ben Slater."

"Oooh, he's kinda hot." Gus chimed in smirking as he watched his one comment make Hunter's entire face sour.

"He's like mega hot. He's only a junior, but he's captain of the swim team, and he won prom king as a freshman. They don't even let freshmen go to prom they gave him the crown the next day in school."

"And he's totally hitting on Willow." Gus added, knowing just how much it would bother Hunter to hear.

"And he's totally hitting on Willow." Luz repeated, catching onto Gus's teasing.

"I mean, this feels like a milestone, right? The first human to hit on Willow, if I had my scroll, I'd take pictures." Gus said, smirking at Hunter's sour expression, one he seemed incapable of moving away from Willow and her new human "friend".

"Oh, good idea, Gus." Luz said, taking out her phone immediately snapping a few pics of Willow and Ben.

"You don't think she's actually- I mean Willow wouldn't..." Hunter trailed off, knowing he wouldn't be able to say what he was thinking without immediate teasing from both Luz and Gus.

Luz and Gus made eye contact sharing a secret knowing look before they both turned their attention back to Hunter.

"Why Hunter, is there a reason you don't want Willow to be seduced by Ben Slater?" Luz said, sliding up to Hunter's side.

"Yeah, you wouldn't happen to be jealous, would you?" Gus said, sliding up against his other side.

"Wha- no. That's not- I wasn't- I mean-" Hunter spluttered his face growing red as his blush took over. For the first time since he noticed the human talking to Willow, he looked at Luz and Gus to see the smug expressions on their faces as they both worked hard to contain their laughter. "Oh, shut up." He crossed his arms and pouted, causing the other two to lose control of their laughter and fall apart.

Gus and Luz lost themselves, both doubling over clutching their sides and closing their eyes. Hunter rolled his eyes and walked away from them face on fire. He walked over to where Amity was absentmindedly sifting through piles of cheap jewelry. If anyone asked him, he would say he went to talk to her even though he knew he walked her way to be closer to where Willow was still talking to the human.

"Blight." He said as he approached her.

Amity looked up quickly just to acknowledge his presence before her eyes got caught on Luz and Gus laughing behind him. "What's up with those two?"

Hunter glanced over his shoulder at the pair, still laughing at him. "Ugh, nothing. Just that human who's apparently hitting on Willow." He gestured to where the two stood in front of the flower display.

Amity turned to look at them.

"Huh," She shrugged before turning back to the jewelry.

"That's it? Just 'huh'?" Hunter looked at her baffled.

"Well, I mean, I guess a lot has changed since Willow and I were really close, but from what I remember, he doesn't really seem like her type." Amity said casually unaware, just the effect her words had on Hunter.

"Oh," He turned back to look at the pair by the flower display with that new information in mind, and he couldn't help the little smile it caused him to have. "So, just out of curiosity, you wouldn't happen to know what her type might actually be, would you?" Hunter tried desparately to sound as casual as he could and knowing he failed completely.

Amity looked up at him with a raised eyebrow, unimpressed as he refused to meet her eyes, knowing his face was the color of a tomato.

"Can we pretend that didn't sound as obvious as it did?" He said, still unwilling to meet her eyes.

Amity snorted, shaking her head with a fond smile. "Well, it's been a while since I would be the authority on that. I mean, she never ruled anyone out because of their gender before, if that's what you're looking for."

Hunter nodded, absently just taking in the new information.

"So, you like Willow then?" Amity asked casually.

"I mean, it's kinda hard not to." Hunter replied, his eyes seemingly stuck watching the plant witch from afar. "She's just so... Good and strong and sweet and pretty and-" he coughed finally looking away from Willow and down at the ground cheeks aflame. "Yeah, I like Willow."

Amity chuckled, "I can't say I blame you. You know she's too good for you, right? I mean, she's too good for anyone."

"Yeah, I know." Hunter said earnestly.

"Wow, ok. Well, I was mostly joking. Guess we gotta work on your self-esteem, huh," she nudged him with her arm. "But I get the feeling. You and I are honestly a lot more alike than I would personally like to think about right now and if I'm being honest Luz and Willow are a lot more alike than I personally would like to think about either. I mean, you and I have done some pretty unforgivable things, both to them and to other people, but the two of them, they forgave us. That's the amazing thing about Luz and Willow, they don't really care about the people we were, just the people we're trying to be." Amity smiled up at Hunter and he returned the gesture with a smile of his own.

"Yeah, so how long are you in town for? We should totally hang out." Ben Slater's voice dragged the two witches out of their moment and back to the issue at hand.

"Ugh," Amity rolled her eyes and fake gagged, "Here, go interrupt them and give this to her." Amity held out a small keychain with a plastic figure of a bee dangling from it, "I was going to give it to her later, but I can't listen to her fake giggle at this guy one more time, besides I think she'd like it better if it came from you anyways."

Hunter looked down at the little keychain before taking it from her hand, "Thank- wait, fake giggle?" He looked up at her with a manic hopefulness oozing off of him.

"Duh," Amity rolled her eyes. "You learn pretty quickly which giggles Willow Park actually means and which ones she's doing just to be polite."

Hunter looked over at Willow smiling up at Ben and started to notice some subtle details he hadn't picked up before, like how tense her shoulders were and how tight lipped her smile was and how her feet had started to fidget a little bit as though she wanted to get out of the conversation. As he was taking in these new details, the rest of Amity's sentence caught up to him.

"Hold on, why would she want me to give this to her instead of you?" He turned back to the purple haired witch confusion written all over his face, and Amity couldn't help herself she just giggled at him.

"Jeez, I hope I wasn't this bad before Luz and I got together, but honestly, I was probably worse." She laughed a little at herself. "Let's just say I might not know what Willow's type is these days, but you definitely fit what her type was back when I did know."

"Oh." He said absently before realizing exactly what Amity had just said, once it clicked, his eyes snapped back up to her once again, looking at him with a raised brow and a smirk, "Oh."

"Yeah, 'oh'." She rolled her eyes at him fondly before pushing him towards Willow. "Now go, rescue my friend from that very boring man."

Hunter let himself be pushed by Amity and made his way over to where Willow and Ben were standing. He stopped right behind Willow and tapped her on the shoulder. As she turned around, her face lit up at the sight of him with a smile that made his insides feel like they were being boiled.

"Hunter! Hey, what's up?" As she spoke to him Hunter couldn't help but pick up on how much brighter and happier she sounded in just one sentence to him than she had the entire time she'd been talking to Ben. He tried not to let himself dwell on it too much, but he'd be lying if he said he succeeded.

"Hey, I don't mean to interrupt you guys," he looked up from her perfect smiling face to Ben standing behind her. If human's were capable of doing magic Hunter knew Ben would have cursed him on the spot just from the look in the other boy's eye. He felt a little bad for how happy Ben's obvious anger made him feel, but then he looked back down at Willow, smiling up at him and realized he couldn't care any less about Ben. "Amity found this and she thought you might like to have it." He held out the little bee key chain for Willow to take.

She gasped at the sight of it quickly, taking it in her own hands, "Oh, Clover." She whispered to herself. She smiled softly at the keychain even as her she felt her eyes get a little misty before looking back up at Hunter. "Thank you, Hunter. I don't know what to say, it's just so cute, I think I'll keep it forever." She grinned at him and in an instant any cool demeanor he may have had disappeared.

His face lit up with a bright red blush, he coughed awkwardly as his hand involuntarily moved to rub the back of his neck, "Yeah, well, you know... Amity just thought and I mean, I agreed, but uh- what I mean is um... you're welcome." He cringed at his own awkwardness as she just smiled at him in that way he feels like he's not allowed to see.

"Excuse me?" Ben's voice startled the two witches back to the present moment.

In an instant Willow's smile disappeared replaced with a surprised and embarassed expression as she turned back around to face the human boy. As she turned away from him, Hunter wanted nothing more than to banish Ben to the other side of the planet, something he was able to do when he was still the Golden Guard. Of course, now he just had to settle for trying to glare a hole through the side of his perfect face.

"So sorry, Ben. This is Hunter, he's one of my friends from home I was telling you about." Willow said as diplomatically as she possibly could.

"Right, yeah whatever. So can I get your number or what?" Ben asked, putting on what he clearly thought to be his most charming smile. All it did was make Hunter's urge to punch him in the face even stronger.

Willow looked up at the human confused, "My number? Are humans assigned a number?" She asked earnestly.

"Uh..." Ben's charming smile disappeared replaced instead by pure confusion.

Willow turned around looking for something in the distance, her face perked up when she seemingly found it, "Luz!" She waved to get the human girl's attention continuing when she knew she had it. "You never gave me a number."

She said as Luz and Gus approached the oddball trio.

"A number?" Luz asked, confused before she glanced over at Ben to see his equally confused expression. "Oh, wait! Dude, are you asking for her phone number?"

"Um... yeah." Ben said, his eyes flicking between the group of four in front of him in confusion.

"Sorry, man, she doesn't have a phone." Luz shrugged, not even attempting to look apologetic.

"She doesn't have a phone?" He asked incredulously, and Luz just shook her head. "Yeah, right, okay." He rolled his eyes before looking back at Willow. "You know, if blondie's your boyfriend, you could have just said that instead of wasting my time." He stuck his hands in his pockets and walked away before any of the young witches could respond.

Willow watched him walk away her cheeks burning, unwilling to turn around and face Hunter, knowing that her feelings would be written all over her face, but not knowing Hunter was in the exact same boat.

"Well, he seemed nice." Gus was the one to finally break the silence. Luz was the only one to laugh.

"Come on, Gus, I wanna show you something called surround sound." Luz took Gus's arm and left the other two witches alone.

Willow slowly turned around to face Hunter, with a sheepish smile and a soft blush over the bridge of her nose.

"So that was... something." She let out a chuckle that felt more awkward than natural. Hunter replicated it somehow even more awkward.

"Yeah, I mean, me? Your boyfriend? That's- that's crazy...'s not quite the right word for it, but um I mean. That guy was a jerk and you deserve better. Not that I think that I would be bet-! I just um-" Hunter cringed at himself, knowing his entire face must be brighter than the red lights above the roads outside. "I think I'm going to walk away now before I say anything else, so yeah." He said quickly before turning on his heel absolutely prepared to run the opposite direction, but before he could, he felt Willow's hand on his arm stopping him.

She didn't turn him back around, instead she just stood up on her tiptoes and placed a soft peck on his cheek from behind before she walked away in the opposite direction towards Mrs. Noceda and Vee.

Hunter turned around to stare at her back, absolutely dumbfounded and rooted to the spot she left him in. Slowly, his hand came up to cup his cheek where she'd kissed him.

He was almost blown over by Luz and Gus, running past him to jump on Willow and scream excitedly at her for kissing his cheek. As the two friends yelled and jumped around her excitedly, Willow glanced over her shoulder at him, and he got to see possibly his favorite Willow smile to date.

"Nice job. Maybe there's hope for you yet." Amity said, coming to a stop right next to him.

He glanced at her for a split second before looking back at Willow, who was now completely entranced by Luz and Gus teasing her. He couldn't help the way, looking at her made him smile. "Yeah, maybe."

Travel Blog: Leipzig Bookfair Sunday

or: Merch, improvising and Good Byes

4th and last day of the fair. I have to say the last two days went by so fast it's kind of sad how fast. The 4th day was premiering the Ch 249 outfit but as i forgot half of it at home I had to improvise... like doll bag, breakfast jar for Tim, different pants. At least my Road Plushy was with me.

The day started with sadly one of my friends still being sick, we had to left her behind for the day :C I'm still sad about this.

Other than that... if you saw an Allen Walker loading their car that was me lol.

At least it was not raining that day and we were able to get inside pretty quick.

Schu told me he had seen a booth with a box of D.Ggray-man Merch and I checked it out as soon as the vendor hall opened and ...

Con prices are horrible but I needed them. I later swapped the Lavi though as I looked up photos and noticed I already had this variant, I now have a different one (con haul pic at the end of the entry).

The whole day was running around trying to find my DGM Mutuals as they wanted to see the blue coat, it took us a while but we found them. I managed to ... not take any photos with them. :') just one super quick one with Alice but they were very busy with filming stuff, that's alright, it's so nice to see people loving cosplay and having fun.

We took a ton of photos that day, the light was awful on some locations, but there are some very pretty shots! Also featuring the shirt I made as I love the poofy sleeves.

The day ended around 4 this time as my friends went back to their place to pick up the sick friend and leave on time and I had to travel back home as well.

No DGM Cosplayers I found that day but I was told several times that it's great to see DGM Cosplayer around and I was complimented for the amount of details I put into my costumes and props ;w;

But I have to say I somehow did not manage to see the whole fair this time?! Like I didn't get to visit the children's book department, I didn't check for new books there, the fantasy one was a very brief visit, we didn't came to the vintage book museum, the cook book isle was just mere 20 minutes and wow q_q how can 4 days pass so darn fast?! I already miss it.

Here is my Convention haul, mostly DGM, I am surprised! Also the sadness my new bowls are... I am aiming to fix the bigger one later on with a gold repair kit.

The new figurines moved into the cabinet the day after.

AND I HANGED THE PANTS TO THE COAT. Same for the bag. And put the jar of Tim into my make up bag as I don't want to forget the half of a costume again OTL

I really enjoyed the convention, I missed attending them. I'm glad the break is over now and I will hopefully see my friends more often again.

The next event I will attend will be a concert though. Then the Burgfest will follow, another concert and mid May a new Convention is on the list. A smaller one.

There is overall 1500 photos (incl photo snaps) I have to get through, i sorted out a bunch while I looked up photos to feature in the blog entries as this was my priority. I hope to narrow them down, edit and put them into the queue later this week. And then to put them into a photobook before I jump at working on the next project.

"baby, c'mon you gotta get up." you can faintly hear your boyfriend's voice though the midst of sleep as he gently nudges you awake. however, geto's efforts are sadly failing, your eyes fluttering open and closed; leaving him to his last resort: peppering your face in kisses.

his lips touch your nose, your cheek, your forehead, and lastly, your lips. what a romantic.

"i'm awake, i swear." lifting one eye open, you softly smile at him. his handsome face is a mere two inches from your own with stars in his gaze. he always looks at you as if you're some sort of astral phenomenon; a once in a lifetime comet that only he has the pleasure of looking at. "did i miss the ending?" you definitely missed the ending of the movie.

geto nods, laughing lightly, before lifting you off of the leather couch. his arms wrap around your body in a protective way, hands on your thighs and chin nestled atop your head.

"i love you so much, suguru." you murmur, slowly waking up from the deep slumber you were consumed by. "i'm sorry i fell asleep, i know how excited you were to watch it with me."

he kisses your forehead as you reach the bedroom, with the billowing curtains and sun showers through the windows, the image is so serene. it's almost as if you could stay in this place and relax forever with geto by your side. slowly, he lowers you onto the bed— his large figure leaning over you— and begins covering you in kisses once more. chin. shoulder. chest. he clearly has plans that are going to keep you up for the next few hours.

"i love you too, baby."

ELLIAN im gonna be in chicago from june 25th-28th!!! im gonna be staying with my brother. what are some fun things to do 👀

ooohhhh hello iris!! im glad i could catch you/respond to this before your trip passed lol anyways here's my two cents from known chicago tumblrina ellian pendraegon. here are theeee chicago sights and sounds and places to be and see:

okay im gonna split this upon into attractions and then food. attractions wise:

obvi there's the riverwalk and that's always fun just to see what people are milling around and there's food and open bars and what not but i really really like taking people on the architectural boat tour! it's about an hour or so on the river and then briefly goes out into lake michigan (chilly so make sure you bring a sweater bc lake michigan winds are no fucking joke but it might be 90 million degrees by late june so it'll probably be refreshing lol) and then back. ive taken lots of people on this one and all the commentators always do a fabulous job and also you get really really good pics from the water lol.

i think a classic one is going to the observation deck of the sears tower! there's a ton of museums here: the art institute (my personal fave, went there recently with tori and there's an awesome van gogh exhibit right now), the field museum, the museum of science and industry, the museum of contemporary art, the planetarium, the aquarium — they're kinda expensive bc they keep hiking their prices (even for in state residents like ????? why is it so fucking much). but i would def recommend getting a day pass or a week pass that already includes the cost of admission to one of these (WAY cheaper) or you should check if one of their free admission days lines up with when you're here bc im pretty sure all of them do a couple free admission days per month... all of these museums are situated around the same area so if you want to have a giant day of museum hopping you might as well lol

you know what's free though? the ZOO. well there's two zoos, lincoln park and brookfield. the lincoln park zoo is the free one and it's personally my favorite (still think you gotta pay for parking though but i dont remember). make sure to go see the okapis they're totallyyyy cute if you go!

these two are not free but they have some days of free admission or days where the admission price is less than the usual fare: the botanic gardens and the arboretum. both are technically not in chicago, the botanic gardens are in glencoe and the arboretum is in lisle (the gardens are closer tho) so you'll need a car to get there!

also like. i guess you can hang around millenium park? see the bean? make fun of it? OH. and a walk along lake michigan/drive through lake shore drive<3

here’s some food places i’d rec:

there’s noooo way you’re gonna be in chicago without having deep dish pizza 🍕🍕my personal favorite place is lou malnati’s (the lou’s is my FAVORITE with the house salad? Chef’s fucking kiss, taste of chicago BABEYYY) although giordano’s is also really good. I personally don’t care for uno’s 🤷🏻🤷🏻

in terms of hot dog places, my fave is gene and jude’s but that one’s a bit out of chicago. Portillo’s is kinda everywhere and what i’d recommend rather than like superdawg or charcoal delight’s lol

if you’re in uptown and looking for a good korean place: chosunok. Ask for their chadolbaegi and mulnaengmyeon. It’s supppeeeeerrrr busy and make sure to wear slightly dirty clothes bc your clothes WILL smell bc there’s not much air circulation lol likewise if you’re in uptown and want some kabobs i’d say go for kabobi or noon-o-kabab. a coffeeshop i really like around here is oromo cafe (turkish coffee, if you like rose flavored things and vegan drinks this is ur spot lol) not really a restaurant but you can drop by joong boo market and get the best giant wang dumplings on this side of the earth so 👍

umm if youre hanging around millenium park and the museums, i really like goddess and the baker! SUPER delicious drinks and food although there’s not much seating. there’s a small cafe by the art institute called hero coffee that’s nice but there’s not any seating lol

im missing a lot but if there's anything specific you're thinking about lemme know lol
