bonus tip: don't try to incorporate too many new habits at once! start with just one or two and once you find yourself doing those easily, you can add more!

Show Your Body Some Love 🤗
🛌 I regularly get at least seven to eight hours of sleep, and I often wake up feeling well rested.
I have a strict bedtime, even on the weekends, and start my night routine at least thirty minutes to an hour before.
I follow Best Zesty's night routine. 😉
🍴 I eat a healthy breakfast.
I wake up thirty minutes to an hour before my day actually needs to start so that I have time to prepare food and eat at the table/bar.
I eat fruits/veggies, carbs, protein, and take my supplements.
🏋️‍♀️ I work out enough (at least four sessions a week that are a mix of strength and cardio training).
I follow workout routines that are safe and body-positive.
I consult with a doctor or trainer if necessary.
😌 I take regular breaks during the day to truly renew and recharge, including a relaxing lunch.
I listen to my favorite music.
I go for walks in nature.

Show Your Emotions They're Valid
🧘‍♀️ I am able to let go of feeling irritable, impatient, or anxious at work, especially when work is demanding.
I take time to meditate, practice mindfulness, and/or breathwork.

This past week i went down to do this project to keep my routine healthy i already had this habit this time I organized it in a vacation glow up project. This project is inspired by It girl aesthetic , model of the duffy , pink pilates girl , and green juice girl.
SUNDAY: self care day so hydrate your hair, take a nice shower, drink water and do your skin care.This day is a day for relaxation so read watch something for example vogue beauty secrets.

MONDAY: wake up, do your skin care I recommend washing your face with some soap like glycerin and apply your sunscreen, after that have your coffee particularly I love oatmel and it's super healthy , after make your journal with personal growth questions if you want I can share some with you, there are also clean your room/habitant , have a nutritious lunch and eat vegetables , then ice your face seriously this is a great trick it's great for the skin you can take a pot and put ice water and dip your face for 15 to 15 seconds or even put ice stones on your face but you have to be careful not to burn the skin so use a cloth of preference, after that your pores will be closed and looking better you can read or watch some series, I love to read so I take a moment in the afternoon and read for about 40 minutes you can eat something too or even drink something very important is that during this project we have to drink at least 2 liters of water a day to keep healthy, after that I like to watch the sunset then open your bedroom window or even go somewhere where you have peace and watch the sunset this is a way of a m meditate and after that do your exercise , just like move your body do yoga or pilates, take a shower just to cleanse your body and relax watching tv or even here on Tumblr , eat something healthy and protein and do your skin care, read some more and sleep.

TUESDAY: On Tuesdays I don't do anything very different I like to keep this routine of habits and add some leisure things since I'm on vacation but on Tuesday I put on a night face mask, watch pretty little liars and eat bananas.

WEDNESDAY:Good Wednesday is smoothie day I love smoothie and you can make it from different fruits like banana, apple, strawberry I love to add supplement also like whey protein and I add vanilla with milk and it's ready, I do the usual after breakfast and in the afternoon I did a little self care I wrote in my diary , washed my hair and let it dry naturally as I'm a model it's not very good to always dry with hot things so I didn't use a hairdryer , I also spent time on pinterest and meditated.

FRIDAY: ok this day wasn't one of the best days to start with because I was on pms so it wasn't very easy to deal with emotions and I also cried a lot watching stranger things, and we like pretty girls we should know that it's normal to have pms and that it's often not easy to deal with our feelings so i cried a lot more then i kept doing my thing something that helps me went to make my newspaper and browse pinterest listening to music and doing skin care.

frozen veggies: have a higher chance of being digested by my body and won't go bad so that they can sit there for weeks while i grapple w my daily changing health and well-being
fresh veggies: trigger all of my illness and contamination OCD while being harder for me to cook and digest thus making me feel sick for hours or days at a time and will go bad within a few days so i have a tiny window within which to Feel Normal Enough to try eating them
i'm just fucking TIRED of people telling me what to do with my body
and this all started just because these hair products that i was REALLY EXCITED ABOUT!!! THAT WORK REALLY WELL!!! THAT MADE ME FEEL GOOD ABOUT MYSELF!!!!
i can't use them because i'm fucking allergic.

my digestion has been on the fucking fritz--after going back to normal after a long bout of Bullshit that threw me out of whack bc of intense stress and anxiety.
that's what happens when i get fevers.
and that is from shit that wasn't even inside my fucking body.
you think that FOOD is EASIER for me to change and experiment with?
it's just infuriating and i'm tired.

The Best of Both

The fact that I was still trying to work out at the gym a few days a week was a testament to my sheer stubborn force of will. Now that my college days were now several years behind me, it was becoming painfully obvious that I was growing more and more out of shape. So, I decided to join the massive throng of people who made a resolution to work out more in the New Year. Most of the New Year's Eve crowd had given up a few weeks ago, but I refused to let myself become part of a failure statistic.
Which, while that did feel something to be proud of... I really wasn't changing any other part of my lifestyle. I was still eating ramen for lunch and dinner almost every day, my daily food intake was completely devoid of any fruits or veggies, and... well, I wasn't sure if protein shakes were legit science or just overhyped consumerism, but I wasn't buying any of those, either. I showed up, played around on the equipment for a few hours without really breaking a sweat, and then called it a day. I was going through the motions without actually putting in any effort, so of course I wasn't going to see any results.
Honestly, at this point, I think the only reason I was still going to the gym was the amount of free eye candy. Now that the machines were less crowded, the gym rats were free to return to their natural habitat. The beefcakes were completely oblivious to my wandering eye, which allowed me to consume as much eye candy as I desired. Budget-Jason-Momoa was my favorite, but Almost-Tom-Holland-With-Wide-Shoulders was a close second.
And then there was Greg. Well, I have no idea what his real name is, but... I call him Greg, because he reminds me of a guy I knew back in college. He looks looks nothing like Greg. This guy has dark brown hair, a full beard, and massive pecs that were practically the size of my head while my Greg was a five foot nothing skater boy with long, blonde hair. And yet, this guy wears a headband that looks exactly like the one that my Greg used to wear all the time.

"Take a photo, it'll last longer," Greg said, flexing an arm in my direction. He smiled at me, clearly taking my attention as a compliment.
"I am so sorry!" I said, immediately dropping my gaze to the floor. He would be the first person to notice me staring at his amazing body. "I, uhh... it's just, that headband. You remind me of my friend Greg."
Whatever answer he was expecting, he clearly was not expecting that. He paused, fumbling with his water bottle for a few moments before seemingly making a decision. "Follow me," he said, gesturing with his massive hands. He sauntered off toward the back of the gym, where the employee's only cleaning closet was located. Where he was going, I had no idea. But I knew enough about myself to know that if I didn't follow him, I would regret it for the rest of my life.
Greg wedged himself into the closet, standing on top of the mop drain and ducking slightly so that his shoulders cleared the shelves of cleaning supplies. "I know it's a tight fit, but the door has to close behind you," he said. I obliged, standing on top of the vacuum cleaner to do so. Even if this was an elaborate prank, I was standing close enough to him to feel the heat of his body, and the pungent smell of his sweaty body brought all four and a half inches of my manhood to attention. Greg pressed against a portion of wall, there was an audible clicking sound, and then the entire closet started to move. "Yeah, it's an elevator," he said, correctly reading the look of confusion on my face. "Trust me, Bennett, it's only going to get weirder from here."
I had never told him my name. "You really are Greg," I whispered, staring up into his eyes.
He smiled back at me. "For the most part. The old Greg was merged into Keaton's body, and I am the result. I'm about 80% Greg's personality, with the 20% being habits and mannerisms from Keaton. Physically, it's probably closer to 90/10 in Keaton's favor. The perky nipples are all Greg, though," he added, winking at me as he lifted an arm to fondle himself through his muscle tank.
Once the movement stopped, the wall behind Greg slid away like an elevator door, revealing a dimly lit metal room. The center of the room was an elaborate tube contraption that looked like someone had tried to turn a tanning booth into a Science Fiction movie prop. There was some sort of control console off to the side that was displaying a gallery of men on its screen. "Go ahead, pick a body," Greg said, gesturing me over to the device.
"Every man you see listed there has been screened for compatibility with the program," Greg explained. "They're all single, muscular men in peak physical condition. They also think they're agreeing to try out an experimental intelligence boosting drug. Which... in a way, I guess they are. I may not have much of Keaton's personality, but I do have complete memories from both of my former selves."

"I choose him," I said, after scrolling through a few of the other men. There was something about him that felt right. He looked confident, but in a way that suggested a quiet smug behavior and not an in-your-face cocky attitude. I found myself instantly drawn to his wide shoulders, and his eyes were captivating.
Greg looked over my shoulder and smiled. "I see you've chosen Travis, that's an interesting pick. I can't guarantee what you will look like once the merging process is done, of course. You won't keep the same tattoos, I can tell you that right now. Still, I'm sure the new you will be just as charming as he is intelligent."
I could feel my cheeks turning red at that comment, but I decided to ignore it. "So... what happens now? I mean, he's not actually here, right?"
"That's right," Greg said. "So, we're going to run the machine on you first, and it's going to convert you into a... a liquid, basically. We'll also notify Travis that we're ready for the experiment to begin. When he enters the machine, he will be injected with the liquid we made out of you, and... at the end of that process, the new you will be finalized. I know it sounds like a lot, but I promise that it isn't painful in any way."
I nodded, feeling equal parts nervous and excited at the thought of becoming merged with a muscle hunk. "I'm ready," I said, looking over at Greg.
He just laughed at me. "No, you're not. Clothing interferes with the process. You gotta get naked first, then you'll be ready."
"Oh. Ummm... can I at least get some privacy?" I asked, suddenly painfully aware of my still-raging erection.
"You can't," he said, with a wide grin. He grabbed the waistband of my gym shorts, and pulled both my shorts and my boxers down to my ankles. "Besides, I already know that you're happy to see me," he said, reaching around to give my shaft a quick squeeze. "If the new you is also gay, maybe we can have some fun later."
I let out a brief, involuntary moan as a shiver of pleasure rushed up my spine. Well, at least things couldn't possibly get more awkward. I quickly shucked off the rest of my clothes, and stepped into the modified tanning booth. The lights flickered on, and soon all I could hear was the loud hum of the fluorescent lights. My skin started to feel unnaturally warm, and pretty soon I could feel my consciousness slipping away as a peaceful, calming sensation overtook me...

The first memory that I have is lying naked on a medical gurney with a massive headache. Moments ago, I had been standing in a tanning booth, except that moments ago I was also sitting on this medical bed thing getting an IV hooked up to my arm. I reached up to feel my hair, which was now trimmed to a short buzzcut. It wasn't different from my short blonde hair. It was a big change from my long brown man bun. My ink changed, but the designs were inspired by the trip to Japan I took after high school. I hated that trip, but it was a family vacation. I always wanted to go to Japan, but travelling just for anime would have been stupid. I glanced over to the mirror to check out my new body. The amount of muscle I grew was almost insane. Honestly, I think I lost a bit of definition, but I can probably get it back. I must have spent at least a half hour examining my new body.

You get the idea. Even now, I'm still occasionally seeing things that trigger conflicting memories from Bennett or Travis, but the first few weeks were the absolute worst. I'm glad that I had Greg at my side to help me through the worst of the merging sickness, as we called it. I've had migraines before, and this was definitely worse somehow.
Unlike Greg, I didn't really feel a loyalty to either of my former selves. I decided that my name would be Benjamin. Like if someone took Bennett's name and made it popular. No one expects a civil engineer to look this good, but it's made climbing the career ladder so much easier. Especially now that I actually want to go fishing with the boss when he invites me out to the lake.
I haven't been back to that gym in several months-- too many conflicting memories, so I just use a home gym setup instead. Greg still goes a few times a week, though. After all, he's still helping the owner find good candidates for merging. I find it weird that Greg still has to pay the monthly membership fee despite being an employee of sorts, but I don't complain. He's the only reason I exist, after all.
Besides, we're dating now. Greg had told me-- both of me, in fact-- that if the new me was gay, we would have sex. Travis thought it was a joke, Bennett decided it was an offer he wanted to redeem. Turns out I'm bisexual. It's a good thing I took after Travis in the manhood department-- Greg can no longer fit my entire shaft in his massive grip. My new 8.5 inch cock is bigger than either of my former selves had before. I'm not sure how that works, but I'm also not about to complain and neither is Greg.

It's a great idea to pack your own snack at work or on the go. Make small packs of nuts and seeds, fruits, plain yogurt, chaach, sprouts, dark chocolate, chilla, cubes of paneer or cheese.
4. Eat An Apple 
This one is my favorite, and I tell most of my clients "eat an apple or visualise it. If you are not hungry enough to eat one full apple, you are not hungry, just bored!". Engage in fun activities or hobbies like singing, reading or whatever you fancy. Thinking about food all the time can be extremely taxing for your weight loss efforts.
5. Try To Eat Meals At Home 
For the next 10 days try to eat maximum meals at home. This gives you complete control over ingredients like sugar, fat, oil and salt that goes into your food. You will be surprised how fast you will lose all that extra flab by just doing this.
6. Become a Water Baby
Go for a swim and up your fluid intake, drink loads of water and green vegetable juices. Every season offers us an abundance of water-rich fruits; in summers you have fruits like melons, in the winter months go for amla-water or warm nimbu-paani. Go for the incredible summer fruits and vegetables that are 96% water. 10. Think About Your Ideal Weight 
Imagine yourself at your dream weight. Visualise wearing an outfit you have dreamt of, and see yourself slim. Everything in existence has begun with the right thought. Idk how to add ‘read more’ on moblie so good luck for people who hates vegans lmao it’s my own experience so jot that down: 1) Learned which friends™ are dumb as shit, will start debates with you and become an expert in health, economy, capitalism, environmentalist shite and so on while delivering 0 facts and completely dissmissing my researched scientific articles™ but their opinion is the ultimate supperior well known facts™.((not saying that science can’t be biased just saying that someone’s opinion™ vs multiple research papers and health organisations’ approved consensus like…..okay…………….)). 2) How much my family actually cares for my health. Thanks fam. Much appreciated that you let me develope an eating disorder which fucked me up so badly but since going vegan and eating normal meals everyday and not like maybe once in 2 or 3 days but ok. Why are they eating only meats when it’s some family gathering, they laugh at me for 'you probably don’t eat anything’ no uncle, you decided instead of potatoes to get more meat which you won’t even eat and salads will be eaten in next 2h and nome of you will feel good the next morning. 21) My mother who has wheat allergy, lactose intolerant ((my wholy family and almost all relatives except one I think (i can’t remember if it was one or two) has lactose intolerance)), consumes more alcohol than should is constantly lecturing me on health…..no mother shut the fuck up. Every choice you’ve made in life was bad and I don’t even want to see your face. 22) My stepfather has literally same problems with stomach as me and he’s a fucking butcher. 23) Waiting until my aunt will stop giving her kid dairy because she for past year is whining how the kid is experiencing probably every health problem that is caused by dairy after the kid was old enough to stop digesting lactose naturally (after certain age babies stop doing that but ppl I’m whining on this post ignore that fact lol like only few 'lucky’ ones can still do that). Like….I’m waiting…..my aunt can’t digest dairy as well but I guess she knows better and let her child get sick. 24) The amount of ppl not understanding my “I don’t eat any animal byproduct.” and asking “What about fish?” ….like i thought it was basic to know what is an animal but i guess not. Like I don’t even say word 'vegan’ cause ppl here has no idea what is the difference between vegetarian(usually a diet person or trendy person but not always of course and even as a trend idc why tbh) and vegan (lifestyle not a diet). 25) “I hate when people do it because it’s trendy.” Like….your point is? 26) Vegans who are racist, anti-semitic (Kat Von D for example) are literal devils. 27) No, I don’t eat raw vegan diet that’s dumbest shit a vegan can do and yet people ask me if I’m like that. 28) People haven’t probably heard of seasonal fruits and vegetables and insist I’m some pretentious fuckface who eats like 8 bananas a day and avocados (spoilers: I don’t even like avocados and I probably eat one banana per week like I used to before I was vegan). 29) The amount of people not even listening to me when they start the dabates tho. I know I’m repeating myself but just….dumb as shit. Like why even start anything if it’s only opinions and no facts. 30) PersonA getting angry at me for telling that maybe when they heard on tv is not right and maybe I did my research, maybe I do see and voice my own thoughs and opinions when other vegans base their shit on pseudoscience but oh no if I say something that doesn’t support a person’s A option then oh no I’m biased and know nothing. Let’s get angry. 31) My family calling me anotexic and assuming it’s because I’m vegan now even though I lost that weight before is just sad. Literally a year ago I was the same weight as right now and I was not vegan. My family don’t even knowing that there are more eating disorders than anorexia is also sad. Also me having an eating disorder since 8th grade didn’t cause because apparently I was overweight (not sure if it’s scientific but ony my biology teacher in 12th grade after some conference told that sometimes you might have a severe eating disorder but your body just will hold onto that fat and other stuff and you will not look like it but you still can have an eating disorder). UghhhhhUUGGGHHHH just seriously my family just why so 'caring’ for my health. I want to literally punch them in the face every single time they bring any health related shit up to me. They literally can’t digest dairy, have other allergies and talk to me about health like shut thenfu k upppp I don’t want my intestines to fall apart because of my diet before going vegan what the fuck. I had years to take meds that didn’t help me, I still of course can’t digest certain plants just as before (lmao repeating myself). Literally switching the meat to soya or lentils is not any more expensive than meats that I surprise can’t fucking digest. My mother, aunt all of relatives told me how since I was a baby I had eating and digestion problems but once I went vegan and it all went away somehow I’m leas healthy???? likemmmmm kay seems fake but okay. 32) Also if I tell ppl about my family basically shitting on me maybe be a friend and don't talk how vegans are annoying. It feels like a slap sinceI just tell about my famiy doing dumbass ahit and you don't listen and just that....like....how old are you and do you know what is 'supporting' your friend.
tldr: Since going vegan almost all health issues/symptoms I had since baby went away since going vegan and no meds helped me that much. People suddenly became dieticians/health experts. People telling me how expensive and pretentious I am but ignores what I have to say about that. My relatives can’t digest dairy, but insist that my 'diet’ is unhealthy FOR THEM. My relatives makes less plant based dishes for some reason Hmmmm i wonder why. People get defensive why THEY can’t go vegan when I didn’t even ask. Have strong opinions which apparently are more important than my research, my own opinion and experiences. Family members telling me I’m unhealthy and anotexic while I’m finally almost got rid of my eating disorder while finally being completely average weight.
'tldr’ is tldr: people(my fam) are dumb and should shut the fuck up about veganism around me I don’t even start shit and they don’t know anything.

New Goal!
So it's been since October 2014 since I ran a full marathon. Between working full time, raising my family and going through college full time... I totally crashed and burned following my marathon. But my heart still yearns to do the crazy beast again. It's such a huge challenge, not just of the physical nature... but of your own mind and personal limits. I'm not a fast runner, but steady. It never came easy either.
I was amazed what I was capable of doing! Amazed!!
Now that is my crazy pursuit again. What is yours? What is a challenge you want to go after? Something that is for you alone? Often, we all get so wrapped up in supporting those we love that we forget to nurture ourselves. But there is a balance. We only are better when we are better. Work can take a large chunk out of our daily 24-hours. Boooo! Then off we go to make a supper and run our kids around to their sports practices and games/events. But that's not a bad thing. Just more on our plates. Here comes the guilt, right?!
I've come to realize that I have to schedule "me time" in/or around this. So it takes some juggling. We should know their schedules ahead of time, so something has to give in order for me to cram in a 1/2-hour to 45-minute training session in. My ambitions are to train for endurance running. But maybe this is a simple 2-3 mile walk every day. Or every other day and basic strength training on the opposite days. This replace the time you would've spent cooking supper for the family. How can this happen? Well, by doing a simple few meals ahead of time, like on Saturday or Sunday.
I went to Pinterest and found clean eating recipes (Whole30 and paleo) and saved a few that sounded really tasty and very simple to throw together. I also discovered that by working (at my leisure) in my kitchen... it kept me from sitting in front of my TV and from munching on snacks. Wow?!?! But the key for me was to make sure I had all the stuff I needed to pull this off ahead of time:
Recipes, ingredients, storage containers. Glad Ware and Ziploc found at your local discount stores are perfect. Or invest in the snap-tight ones. You just need something to put lunch and suppers in for 4-days!
Then I made double batches of 2 recipes. Half of each double batch would go for my family and the other I divided up to cover my meals. Now, clearly I would have meals for 4 days while they had only for 1 night. But managing meals for every one else is easier when I've got myself covered.
Here are a few starter recipes I adopted to set up for success!! I'm also a gal that needs a little sweet treat every day too! 😘 I'm including a Paleo chocolate chip cookie recipe that uses almond flour, coconut oil & honey versus regular flour, vegetable oil & sugar. The chocolate chips are the healthier darker chocolate too. This involves nuts, so if you are allergic to nuts, this isn't an option. Maybe look around for cookies or bars that use coconut flour instead, as long as you aren't allergic to that. It's a delightful splurge, but still controlling all the added sugars we are up against in the American cuisine. We can't feel like we are depriving ourselves of anything, but rather substituting our meals with something that is yummy, and healthier. This is the staying power of lifestyle change!
Remember to combine fresh fruit with a protein to keep you happy and satisfied between meals. And read your labels... lots of hidden sugar in ketchup, mayo, even pickles and beef sticks! Ugh!! I like to cut up Fuji apples with natural peanut butter or almond butter. Read labels... some natural nut butters are deceiving and add sugars and oils. Nuts have natural oils in them, so put it down and keep looking. I found a delightful and inexpensive natural peanut butter at Aldi for under $4. The natural oil separates so I use a butter knife to stir it up good.
I'm sharing how I've gotten started on transitioning to a healthier lifestyle. Baby steps. And dont beat yourself up if you do good one day and not the other. This is not a do or die, all or nothing plan. This is learning and adopting and making small adjustments every day. Just because you trip on the first step doesn't mean you throw yourself down the whole staircase, right?!?! Pat yourself on the back for trying and make this your own journey. Build confidence along the way! You are a warrior deep down inside and will find a way or make a way through all this.
