Happy Halloween! Have a very silly question:

What's your opinion on the Thunder Manifestation? Not as a boss, but design/ lore/ etc-wise. I think they're really neat.

Ah, Thundering Fury itself. Kanna Kapatcir's grief and rage, powerful enough to screw over the ecosystem of two separate islands thousands of years after her passing.

I loved how they/it/she capped off the Seirai Island questline. Climbing to the top of a twisted floating centuries-old thunderstorm to face off against the unresolved trauma and grief of the long-since departed — sooo Inazuma.

And the Mt Kanna appearance too, ofc. That was a pleasant surprise :D

I quite like the design! I know that some people feel it's a little too Oceanid-like, but I think that's pretty inevitable if both species are supposed to resemble giant Seelies(!?). I do wish the design looked a little less solid, especially in the concentric circle parts of the wings — a little more like the Electro Seelies, maybe — but also that would melt the GPU on my phone and also would not suit the cel-shaded art style.

I actually like them/it/her as a boss too — some very fun farming as a Ningguang main ^_^ Ended up giving the Thunder Manifestation a silly cameo in my noir GAA2 fic, as a homage to HYV's recycled character models.

Little alterhuman/ voidpunk piece for tonight! Specifically based off of my phantom ears and hindwings that I seem to be having pretty often now.

(i looked at your profile and i think it’s the guy from a videogame? if it’s not i’m so sorry and just send in another ask. also i’m still going to do a doodle of you! also i apologize if some of this stuff is a bit weird, i asked one of my friends that plays genshin about the thunder manifestation)

play genshin impact and do stuff in the area in which the thunder manifestation is found! or listen to the game soundtrack!

if you own one or can afford one, play with one of those plasma balls. it’s really fun to feel the plasma surging underneath your fingertips, and it looks electric!

get a blanket and drape it over your arms and flap it. for some people, it feels like wings!

sit in a dark room and listen to rain and thunder sounds. the thunder manifestation lives in a place with everlasting storms.

find a swing set near you and use it! it can feel like flying and diving through the air.

if you are physically able, hike a mountain! if you aren’t able-bodied in a way that would allow you to do it (or if you just don’t like hiking), play a video game or watch a movie about going up a mountain, as the thunder manifestation lives on a peak.

drink a fizzy drink or eat pop rocks. some people describe fizziness as a tingling of a crackling feeling, which might feel nice because you are a very crackly guy! (sorry if that was phrased weird, i’m not sure what other way to say that.)

make/buy ears/wings/tails!

surround yourself with lots of purple items!! this can include your wardrobe as well

making/buying a cloak or wearing a blanket over your shoulders and holding onto the corners can make you feel like you have wings again!!

get some fairy lights/leds that have an option to glow purple and put them in your room!! turning them on when its dark in your room might remind you of amakumo peak!!

hang out in dark areas in general!! (make sure to stay safe!!)

get some bat plushies/stickers/keychains/etc!!

get some items to remind you of electro/electricity in general!! plasma balls could be a good one!!

◇Random question relating to an earlier (But somewhat spoilery) post I made. But if I theoretically made a speculative evolution/ biology series based on oceanids and Manifestations, would anyone be interested?◇

◇Basically, it's heavily based on my headcanons for what an entire family of Manifestations would be like. It would have drawing showing select examples of each genus/ species AND some cool ecology (Well... as close to ecology as 'Vaguely sea-slug like elemental lifeforms' could get) and niche trivia. Woe goofy little Genshin X Mad Rat Dead ocs be upon yee

Meet Melodrama and Surge. Melodrama is undead, and Surge have no memories of who it was.

Surge was, in fact, an Adventurer who died while trying to kill Melodrama when it was still alive (Who also died immediately after), and a random "god" (More like some kind of abyssal entity) took pity on both of them, and brought Melodrama back to life... using Surge as their "core."

They both have musical abilities, as well as a slight slowdown/ bullet time ability. Melodrama, due to being undead, also can't, or at least barely, use his electro abilities.

AKA these two silly dudes my beloved.
