Day 13 | Silica Rapids, New Zealand | Today I did a lot of walking with Jack who I met at the hostel I’m staying at. We started off the day by doing the Lake Rotopounamu walk. It was pretty neat as we got to walk all around the lake. Our feet got a tad wet though due to the rain and the lake’s water level being quite high and just about cutting off a bit of the track. Then in the afternoon we did the Silica Rapids track which was up at the Whakapapa Village. It was super cool as it was partially covered in snow and it also kind off snowed on us as we walked it. After that walk we then did a quick little one out to a waterfall.
