Tumblr has been a wealth of inspiration. One of my motivations for starting my own line of journals is because of what I am inspired by on Tumblr. The people I follow have the most uplifting, thought-provoking posts and I greatly appreciate how this platform has indirectly and directly supported my journey to move out of the states of heartache, disappointment, despair, depression, trauma-response thinking, and more.
My journey has been heartbreaking and to see someone post something that seems to understand the depth of feeling I feel at that moment is like someone throwing you a much-needed lifeline.
I know many of us gripe about the toxicity of social media but I truly feel like my tribe live here on this platform. May you receive the same relief and comfort of knowing there are those who think, feel, and ponder the things you do.

Not happy. Not sad. Not excited nor bored. I'm just no longer feeling like a foreiger anymore these days.
Perhaps the museums of visual art and the bookstores of literary art will shake life into me.

I started in Valencia and then spontaneously decided to visit Zaragoza for a week and San Sebastien for a few days before I moved on to Bordeaux, France. Spent a month in the city of Bordeaux before deciding to catch a train from Paris to Berlin to see an old college friend - and the city as well.
I flew to southern England from Berlin to visit with another friend whom I hadn’t seen in a long time. Since she lived between London and Oxford, I was able to spend some time ogling the antiquities of Oxford and England's lovely, cosy bookshops until I got tired of the chilly, and mostly cloudy spring weather and then flew back to Bordeaux before heading to Paris to return to the USA.
Once I was in the USA and I went traveling some MORE going from New Jersey to Florida, Florida to Georgia and Georgia to Texas and headed back again to New Jersey. After having spent good quality time with some family members, I prepared for a long journey overseas AGAIN.
Once summer was in full swing, I took a flight from New Jersey to France and then went immediately from warm, sunny weather in Paris to...
