I know the moment doesn’t last very long but I love how Five asked Klaus if he was ok. He saw the blood trail, noticed something was off, and instead of being snarky straight away, he actually showed that he cared for once. Also, Klaus is RARELY asked that so it was good that someone asked. I don’t know I just thought it was a nice moment.

I just wanna take a moment and appreciate Aidan’s acting because the “put her down” scene was honestly so good. Five looked a little crazy and a little scared and just. It looked like how someone who’d been in a post-apocalyptic wasteland with a mannequin for decades would look if someone threatened to drop her out of a two (?) story window.

Another nice moment was when Diego asked Klaus if he was ok, multiple times. Diego knows Klaus usually talks up a storm so when he was quiet, it was obvious something was off. Diego chooses a lighter approach at first, making a joke about how nice it was the last time he was that quiet, but when Klaus leaves the car he asks again if he’s sure he’s ok. And then, instead of leaving Klaus alone, he checks up on him again. It was nice.

“I’m not looking for happy.”
“We’re all looking for happy.” And then the weird cheek caress??
The Handler being all touchy with Five makes me so horribly uncomfortable. It’s an abuse of power and she KNOWS it is and it’s just. Ugh. Icky for lack of a better term. (But also really great acting.)

“We’ve been watching you for some time.” And you only decided to come recruit him and get him out of there now? The Commission waited and waited until they knew Five would be desperate enough to take any offer they made him. The Handler waltzed in as though she was his savior when anyone could’ve done that years— decades even!! — earlier. But they waited and let him spiral until they knew that he’d accept whatever offer came around to get him out of the post-apocalyptic hell hole he was in.

Oh man… I’m at the part where Viktor and Leonard/Harold (augh) are having coffee and Viktor mentions how they’re holding auditions for first chair and then Leonard/Harold has the AUDACITY to act surprised and ask why. As though he wasn’t the reason why. As though he didn’t kill Helen. And Helen didn’t even do anything wrong she was just living her life! Maybe she wasn’t super nice with Viktor but they also barely knew each other.

Oh man I felt so uncomfortable when Viktor kissed Leonard/Harold especially because they show Helen’s body in his attic and then the diary and ugh. And Viktor has no clue he’s being manipulated!! He genuinely believes someone just cares about him and sees him as something more than just ordinary. It makes me so sad.

Look, I understand Viktor feeling like Allison didn’t trust him because growing he was always cast out, BUT Allison was right for looking Leonard/Harold up. Viktor had a book out there with all sorts of details about his life, so someone could easily use that information to manipulate him (which is what was happening but he didn’t know yet).
Of course, it’s because of this dramatic irony of us as viewers knowing that will get frustrated, but at the same time Viktor should be a bit more careful about who goes to his apartment for lessons. I feel like he should have some other space for violin lessons because it could be dangerous for him.

We got our first confession from Five about him not enjoying the killing! Luther was obviously still bent out of shape at Five for almost going off and killing some random people. I think Five telling him that he never enjoying it, that he was just good at it, reassured Luther a bit.
