Experience is one of the wisest teachers life can offer you. No matter how much information we are given about a concept, circumstance, differing factor, issue or culture, when you’re found face to face with ideas, things may not be what you initially imagined. My mind and heart have changed so much recently; mostly in the political and social justice realm. But, I know that moving to the United States has acted as another piece of the process in shaping my views. Now standing towards a more humanistic and compassionate direction. I wonder what it was inside me that constructed the views I held before. With all of this extra time I’ve had, I’ve reshuffled my decks of morals, spiritual openness and political views that tend to tie into much greater issues overall. In asking the tough questions, I’m blessed to have new information to refer to and consider with experiences to tie them to. My followers, know that I’ve gone back through my older posts and addressed the problematic or ignorant things I’ve publicly said. I just wish that expressing my change of heart offline was as easy. There’s pent up sorrow in my soul that lurks when I think of the possible harm I’ve done from my past ideals. If there’s anything I can do to help prevent any more, I’m wiling. These kinds of posts are not for pandering or in the fear of being “canceled”. But rather, I’m addressing this for myself and in the understanding that though my account is rather small, I still have power in the words I say; as well as in my actions. usually i get them from a local piercing shop, they know the materials and what’ll be good for me! i’d search your local shops for deals or sales.
