POV: You're an NPC a few weeks after the Final Days were ended. You spy the Warrior of Light while going about your business.
She seems to be on the mend and in good spirits. You think to yourself that you should ask her to do a mundane task for you.
But you won't.
[Yes this was inspired by that picture of the cheetah with her cubs and the poster going "I want to cuddle them *zoom in on mama cheetah death glare* but I won't".]

Whumpee being dumped back on the doorstep of a loved one or associate, limbs secured with packing tape, with a piece of paper stapled to their chest that reads Return to Sender, and a "damaged goods" sticker plastered across their forehead and eyes

There seem to be popular fan interpretations for what most WC characters look like - is there any character where your headcanon differs drastically from widely accepted fandom interpretation?
oh i got this one. good quastion
so it's not too drastic, but it's significant to me. in canon, bristlefrost is described as gray and white* with thick fur (*the wiki says she's pale gray but i swear to god she's described as gray and white somewhere in canon, maybe in the teaser posts that came out before TBC was officially released??) .
most of the fandom seems to prefer her super fluffy, and adds cream or light orange tortoiseshell markings or some sort of highlights.
i've never been one for torts in general just because i personally struggle to make them look good in my style, so while i'll never yuck anyone's yum for little design things, i've never agreed with a dilute tort Bristlefrost.
also, while i see her as a big, long furred cat, she's more sleek and less fluff, since ivypool was always very pointy and had a more athletic build to me. so bristle in my head takes on a more oriental longhair shape
like so.
tort bristle is not really my thing but i wouldn't like.. not share/reblog art with a tort design in it simply because i dont agree with that interpretation, yknow?
(also ive never cared for the dark forest eyes that have black sclera just bc i think it makes designs look too busy. love red pupils tho keep that up. )

Looking back, people were so weird about my non-physical disabilities.
Oh no, we can't tell the obviously queer kid with no legs that they're also autistic with an intellectual disability due to a brain injury, then they might know they're different!

Just noticed something in today’s Dracula Daily entry that I hadn’t noticed before!
Van Helsing says, “I have asked [Lucy] to send me her maid, that I may ask just one or two question, that so I may not chance to miss nothing. I know well what she will say.”
This stood out to me because I had just been thinking that, given Victorian sensibilities, if you have a young lady who appears to be losing inordinate amounts of blood but has no visible injury, the maid is exactly who you should ask. Because a young lady like Lucy would likely not have talked about her period to a man even if it was medically relevant, as it would Not Have Been Done, and the maid would be the one changing the sheets, so they’d know if the woman they worked for had been having unusually heavy periods.
I don’t know if that’s what Van Helsing was asking about, but it would be a sensible (if, by standards of the time, indelicate) thing to do.
