Looking Back At February 6 2024 ♪〜Movie, Dresses And Shoulder Bones〜

The other day, I went to see the movie "Golden Kamuy" with a friend 😊I received a special git at the cinema! A panel drawn by the original creator＼＼\\٩( 'ω' )و //／／ I was so happy because I didn't expect to get something like this! 😍 The girl I went with is a big fan of the original work, actually, she is such a hardcore fan that she and her husband have even gone on a proper pilgrimage to Abashiri which is a place from the manga. I also enjoyed the manga so I decided to go and watch the film with her! The visuals were so powerful and the music was so wonderful that (despite the fairly fantasy-like setting) I felt a strange sense of reality that made me cry many times... It was the first time I watched a movie at the cinema since ``The Boy and the Heron'', I had a lot of fun! 😆 (By the way, the girl who went with me was the same friend who went with me when I watched “The Boy and the Heron” for the second time♪) Being at the movie theater for the first time in a long while got me really excited, initially, I only wanted to get some oolong tea at the snack bar but then, I ended up with all of this😂 How did this happen? When I looked at the menu, I got really excited 🤣I got a large popcorn and a hot dog *laughs*

I couldn't finish the giant popcorn and had to take it home *laughs* I quietly stuffed my mouth with the hot dog before the film had even begun🤤 Even though I had told myself that it would be better to wait until the film was over to avoid getting tired...🥺 Such a fickle nature🥺(Thankfully the movie was so interesting that I didn't feel sleepy at any point)

Now, I would like to talk a little about my “Wakana 5th Anniversary “Prologue” ~Premium Online Live~” which was held on February 6th! Here I am together with Saku-chan who joined me on the piano 😊We also made sure to take a picture where we look a bit cool📸 With this premium online live I celebrated a milestone, the 5th anniversary of my solo debut. I wanted to start my celebrations together with everyone from my fan club! For some reason, those five years actually feel like a longer time... or rather, it feels like a lot more years have passed already. I included the entire “journey” from my solo debut up until now in the setlist!

There are songs from my 1st album "Wakana", my 2nd album "magic moment", my EP "Aki no Sakura" and my 3rd album "Sono Saki e"! I ended up cramming in as much as possible since I wanted to create a setlist that would allow me to look back on the past 5 years.😊 During my MCs I tried to express my feelings from each period, hopefully I was able to share some fresh thoughts with you.

I once again realized that the "chat" may be the best part of an online live performances! At live performances with an actual on-site audience it's not really possible to have a real conversation, but online, everyone can talk about all sorts of things. Of course, even if there are no words exchanged between us, I know that people are watching and supporting me but I always feel very relieved when people say a lot of things in the chat (*´- `) It's honestly so reassuring to know that everyone is watching and listening (^-^)

Despite all of that, my surprise lyric mishaps keep happening, whether it's been 5 years or 15 years, I will never get rid of those...😂Why? ? 😂 I could really feel everyone's surprise and kindness from the chat messages, it was a special sense of gratitude that I probably couldn't experience at a live performances with an on-site audience. Thank you again to everyone who watched and supported me! ! My 5th Anniversary celebrations have only just begun. At my upcoming band live on May 12th, I would like to have the time to reflect even more on the past five years ! Details will be posted soon! Lastly, I would like to post some pictures of my dress from February 6th 😆This is the same dress I wore on the cover of my 1st album "Wakana"♪ I also wore it during the encore for my ``VOICE'' tour, at that time, it was altered a bit so it would work better for a live performance 😍 I had my hair down, which is quite unusual for me ♡ The makeup artist also added some sparkling hairpins 😍

I always wonder why my shoulder bones are so prominent...🤣 I think it's a skeletal issue because I am pretty sure not everyone's shoulder looks like that, right? 😂 I don't have any particular pain or problems in this area but I always feel like there's just a lot of bone sticking out. I envy people with smoother shoulders🥺

Anyway, I'm glad I was able to fit into a dress from 5 years ago ･:*+.\(( °ω° ))/.:+ For some reason, that got me super excited! 😂😂 Easy peasy🤗 Yay!

Good evening！I'm Matsumoto Wakana🙉

A little while ago、I took and passed a course to become a Fermentation Sommelier、so I received my professional qualification！

When I was in my 3rd year of middle school、one of the goals I set for myself、was to achieve this qualification once I'm in high school!、so I'm glad that I was able to achieve it！

Up until now、I've posted on my blog many times about the food I've made、and I love cooking、and eating、

But I thought that learning more about the food products、and details about their uses、would make my cooking more delicious、which is why I wanted this qualification。

In particular、the reason I went for the Fermentation Sommelier qualification、is because when I've eaten meals that used fermented products、I realised how delicious fermented foods could make a meal! And that became my motivation。

Ever since、on TV and SNS etc、I've been on the look out for recipes that use fermented foods、and I've been wanting to try making them myself、

And we just so happened to have a yogurt maker at home、so I tried using it to make some fermented foods、and it was so easy、and delicious、and easy to use、which made me realise how great fermented foods are！😳✨

In other words、fermented foods stole my heart！！！😂🤍

There's still lots I don't know、but I'll do my best to share the greatness of fermented foods with everyone！！！

Sweet Bean (2015) by Kawase Naomi - Blog 21

Sweet Bean (2015) by Kawase Naomi is a Japanese film that centralizes on freedom and joy. The story centralizes on a man, Sentaro, who runs a small Dorayaki shop in order to pay off a long-term debt. One day, an older lady named Tokue is attracted by the scent of the Dorayaki and is interested in his part-time hiring sign. Due to the possible liability from her old age and crippled hands, Sentaro rejects each of her attempts to become hired until she leaves a carton of An, sweet bean paste, that she made for him to try. Their next encounter, they begun to work together and the new serving of An blossoms Sentaro’s shop. Soon after, the wife of the deceased owner of Sentaro’s shop comes by to discuss firing Tokue because of her case of leprosy. Eventually, Sentaro does begin to lose business and Tokue quits upon noticing the occurrence. This was not the last encounter for Sentaro and Tokue. Sentaro and Wakana, a school girl and close friend, visits Tokue a few time at her home in the quarantine for those with leprosy. A few months Tokue passes away from Pneumonia and Sentaro opens his own stall with the equipment passed down from Tokue.

This film was very beautiful and sad. I really enjoyed watching it and would recommend family and friends to watch at least once. There was not a lot of music present throughout the film. Only the sounds of the environment and the interactions between people. I believe there was only one incident where music was played. The shots of the scenery and the camera work was clean and the film overall felt very realistic. In the beginning of the story, I thought it would be similar to Tanpopo, whereas the owner of the little shop works to improve on a recipe. Although it was not the same, it was similar in the aspect that both shops wanted to change their a part of their food. I did not expect the amount of sadness the film would have brought, and listening to how patients from leprosy longed for freedom from quarantine and illness. Especially Tokue’s statements throughout. She would mention how lucky and it must be nice to be young like the school girls. Due to her illness, achieving her dreams were deemed impossible and her freedom was taken away since she was young. Tokue is a very loving and kind spirit. She just wanted Sentaro to feel joy and feel free just like the birds and the trees. I really enjoyed the ending despite the death of Tokue. Sentaro looked happier compared to the beginning of the film and receiving Tokue’s care, equipment, and recipe allowed him to step out from his past.

“Ghibli wo Utau” Concert~A Night Of Tears~

“Ghibli wo Utau” Concert ~ Produced by Satoshi Takebe was held on March 27th (*'▽'*) It still feels like a dream to be able to perform at a tribute concert for my all-time favourite Studio Ghibli works. Today I will be sharing plenty of photos from that concert! It was held at Tokyo International Forum Hall A✨ The screen at the back shows famous scenes from each work. When I was singing, I believe they showed San and Moro in the background 😍 (I was facing the audience the whole time so I couldn't see them...)

This time, I chose a dress inspired by San from Princess Mononoke 👗 It was so cute ♡ Here I am together with Mr. Satoshi Takebe who is literally a super-human, he was hosting the whole event, taking charge of the MCs, performed on the piano and he also arranged all the songs for this concert😂😂It's amazing😂 When I was asked to sing ``Princess Mononoke'' for the album, I remember that at first I jumped up and down with joy but then I quickly started to feel anxious, wondering whether I would be able to do a good job... However, when I saw Takebe-san and everyone involved in the production working so incredibly hard to make a good album, I swore to myself that I would give my very best and work as hard as I could. I am grateful to Takebe-san for always believing in me and never giving up on me! ! Takebe-san, thank you very much for your hard work! ! ･:*+.\(( °ω° ))/.:+

This was my first time collaborating with Leo Ieiri! I got to sing “Itsumo Nando Demo” together with her, it was so much fun 😊 She was a very kind and wonderful person...😳✨ We actually have something in common, we are both Sagittariuses from Fukuoka, that made me happy 😊 I hope to see you again✨

And here I am with Shigeru Kishida from “Quruli”! We had our picture taken while I got to hold my personal Totoro😂 During the concert, I watched most of the artists' performances from the stage side wings, Kishida-san's story was particularly funny 😂 It seems like Takebe-san tends to call him "Shige-chan" 😂 So cute 😂 Not only his performance of “My Neighbor Totoro” but also “Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea” was amazing!

I also had a photo taken together with Kaela Kimura! She is too cute~~🥺💕 I felt the audience get even more excited during Kaela's "Rouge's Message"😊 She is a very powerful and charming performer😍

I brought a lot of my Ghibli mascots with me that day, actually, everything except Tet was a gift from my fans 😂 All of you really know and understand me...😭✨Thank you😭✨ (Totoro and his friends on the right, Acorn and Kurosuke are matryoshka dolls. Ashitaka and Kodama are finger puppets, and Totoro on the left is a pouch!)

The Totoro cream puffs provided by the catering service were super cute! (It doesn't even look out of place when lined up side by side with all of my mascots!)

I really enjoyed reflecting on that special day with lots of photos! I was among the first ones to perform so I actually wanted to tell all of you in advance that you should make sure to arrive in time 😂 And then when I stood on stage, I immediately started looking for familiar faces in the audience😂

It was my first time standing on stage with so many artists since I became a solo artist so I was a little nervous... I sang while thinking of all of you, believing that my botanical friends were definitely there in among the many gathered fans! 😂 Thank you to everyone who came and everyone who supported me...😭✨ I was beyond thrilled to be able to participate in a concert that allowed me to be so involved with Ghibli's music! The concert will be streamed on U-NEXT on May 18th, so please look forward to it ＼＼\\٩( 'ω' )و //／／

Yesterday、Sasaki-san's graduation was announced。

Before I joined Angerme、and since I've joined、Sasaki-san、has always given me lots of power。

Her expressions are so cute、and she always expresses her love clearly、she's just so cool🥹

Sasaki-san's hands are super warm！🖐️

I'm always cold、so my hands are always cold、but Sasaki-san often holds my hands to warm them up☺️

[Excruciating Duplicity - Callista Lorne] Character Personality / Character Inspirations ~ pt. 4

Hello Everyone,

Welcome back to the next part of my Character Installment Analysis for the Lorne Family!

For those who might have missed pt. 1 or pt. 2 or pt. 3 - this series is to explore the different personality types and share some character inspirations for some of the more under developed OCs here on the blog. Starting with the Lorne Family.

This is part 4 of 4 for this group.

In this post we will take a look at the five youngest boys, Calli's younger brothers. If you have more questions, or you want to know more, feel free to ask! Enjoy~!

Helios

ESTJ

An Executive (ESTJ) is someone with the Extraverted, Observant, Thinking, and Judging personality traits. They possess great fortitude, emphatically following their own sensible judgment. They often serve as a stabilizing force among others, able to offer solid direction amid adversity.

Being the oldest of this next group of kids, Helios wants to be like his older brothers. He wants to be serious like Alexander, but also understanding like Meteo. Helios does his best to lead his little brothers the best he can, and works hard to be the 'big brother' they can look up to. He is most like Hiro, where sometimes he can come off a bit too 'grown up' when he doesn't need to be - but cares deeply about his loved ones.

Hear me out with the Quaxly - they are a neat and tidy Pokemon. They want to look their best - a little perfectionist. Gaku also resembles Helios in passion and drive. A lot like the person he wants to be once he's older. Lastly, Yahiko continues to resemble Helios' determination and drive.

Stevi

ISFJ

A Defender (ISFJ) is someone with the Introverted, Observant, Feeling, and Judging personality traits. These people tend to be warm and unassuming in their own steady way. They’re efficient and responsible, giving careful attention to practical details in their daily lives.

Everyone teases him of being a house wife, more specifically that he will make a great lord happy one day. The softest boy, who loves to do calm activities - unlike the rest of his brothers. Not to say that he can't do them - he just prefers not to. He is a lot like Yukito, a kind hearted boy who wants to take care of the ones he loves.

When it comes to 'letting the inner demon out', Stevi is like Kabane - becoming blunt, but also quite clueless. He can be passionate and strong like Suzaku. Or obsessive and loving like Wakana.

Xylander

ESFP-T

An Entertainer (ESFP) is a person with the Extraverted, Observant, Feeling, and Prospecting personality traits. These people love vibrant experiences, engaging in life eagerly and taking pleasure in discovering the unknown. They can be very social, often encouraging others into shared activities.

The older of the twins, Xylander is loud and proud. Along with his brother, the two cause all kinds of havoc - and they fight almost constantly. Being older, he does try to take on the lead role between the two, but Xylon is hard headed, so it doesn't always work out. He is most like Kou, having a strong personality - but does carry a level of inferiority due to older siblings.

The big personality of Black Star and Asta really fit him most of the time. Seeing himself a the best, and a hard worker to keep it that way. Though when he wants to be, he can be a bratty and devilish as Alois - so best not to push him in that direction.

Xylon

ESTP

An Entrepreneur (ESTP) is someone with the Extraverted, Observant, Thinking, and Prospecting personality traits. They tend to be energetic and action-oriented, deftly navigating whatever is in front of them. They love uncovering life’s opportunities, whether socializing with others or in more personal pursuits.

Every bit as rowdy as his twin, these two are pretty much always at 100. Unlike his brother, being the younger one, he doesn't yet have any rooted sense of insecurity. Xylon is an outgoing and curious boy that loves a good fight. He is most like Kakeru, joyful and full of energy.

When the going gets tough, this boy stays put - and is extremely loyal to his twin brother. It is in that regard he is like Draken, okay with being second, but is by no means less because of that - and will often give his brother hard time. He can also be like InuYasha in his stubborn will, and earnest attempts to become stronger. He does see himself as a protector even if he's the second youngest. Things can take a turn, and that is where Bachira's influence can be seen. Still every smiling - this boy does take things seriously, and god help anyone in his way.

Onan

INFP

A Mediator (INFP) is someone who possesses the Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, and Prospecting personality traits. These rare personality types tend to be quiet, open-minded, and imaginative, and they apply a caring and creative approach to everything they do.

So young, and so sweet, just an absolute bean. While he is the baby, Onan has not come up to be a spoiled brat - even though everyone does spoil him. He is canonically all his sister's favorite, and they always feed him extra sweets when they visit. He is still growing, but as of now he is a polite, sweet, and charming young boy. He is most like Noe - when he was young anyway.

That being the case, Onan can be mischievous from time to time - I mean look at his brothers. It is then that he Mitsuba - so it's not like anything major, but he can use his smarts to tease his brothers a bit. Mob is a great representation of how caring and kind Onan truly is - even though he has the possibility to be the strongest of his siblings. When he lets his guard down and allows himself to be as out spoken as he wants, that is where the inspiration from Mio comes out.

Rei Wakana/LAYER Relationship Headcanons

Fandom: Bandori/Bang Dream! Girls Band Party

Pairing: Rei Wakana/LAYER x Gender Neutral Reader

Genre: Fluff all the way <3

Rei is pretty shy in relationships. She knows that she can display her feelings freely, but she's always a bit embarrassed. It's even worse when her partner is very touchy.

Because of her shyness she blushes very, very easily. Any big display of affection will make her go red from head to toe, especially in public.

Even so, Rei is not afraid of PDA. She does not hesitate to hold hands or link arms with her partner, and even in polyamorous relationships, she always finds a way to make sure everyone is holding onto her, or the other way around.

She likes quiet cafe dates the most! She's more able to be relaxed when she can enjoy a nice cup of black coffee with people she loves <3

She's more of a big spoon while cuddling, even though she's not used to it, because being little spoon embarasses her too much.

She show appreciation more through words and cute dates, but if her partner gives her a gift, she will treasure it and give them one in return.

Her gifts are usually well-thought even she always worries about what her lover will think. (Spoiler: They're always satisfied and even amazed at Rei's thoughtfulness)

She loves it when her partner sneaks into the penthouse during reharsals, she always feels giddy to know that her significant other is following her main hobby.

On the other hand, she gets easily distracted by their presence, and always misses a few notes, which never fails to anger Chu2, even though nothing can break Rei out of her lovestruck phase.

During lives, she always makes sure her partner has the best place to watch the show, and always gets them a backstage pass so they can come see her during interludes and at the end of the show.

That's when Rei lets down her embarassement and is always the most affectionate, but she always avoids talking about her outbursts afterwards.

Rei is a great listener, so when her partner feels down, she always hugs them tightly and lets them relax. If her partner wants some time alone, however, she is patient, and will wait for them to calm down, but if it takes some time, she'll always come by to leave them their favorite snacks with a kind and encouraging note.

As for herself, Rei doesn't get burnout easily, but when she does, she likes to cuddle with her partner or at the very least stay close to them. She also enjoys when they play with her hair, so her partner often does cute hairstyles with it to cheer her up.
