Titles

Kindly Stopped for Me: Chapter 33. Lily lives AU, where Lily falls into a coma on Halloween 1981 and wakes up at the end of GoF. Lots of angst and family feels.

The Joker and The Queen: Chapter 3. A Jily fake-dating fic. Shenanigans abound. An "Idiots in Love" kind of story.

James Lives AU (Title TBA): Outline & Chapter 1. Basically a James version of Kindly Stopped for Me. James survives Halloween 1981 in a way that I will not spoil for you, and wakes up later on when Harry is a teenager.

Forever is the Sweetest Con: Short multi-chapter. Jily as con artists who fall in love while trying to con each other.

Fragile Little Flame: A post-war Hinny fic! Most likely a one-shot, but we'll see what happens.

(I’m not including the KSFM Missing Moments that I’m working on in this, since I don’t post them on AO3, but just know that I haven’t forgotten them!!!)

Upcoming Scenes, Events, Details

I've been making some minor changes to my outline for KSFM, so the exact numbers may change, but looking at it from a birds-eye view—Chapters 35 and 39 are two of the angstiest chapters in the entire fic😅 So...in preparation for that...I'm giving you all a slight break from the heaviness of this fic with chapters 33 and 34. I'm hoping it won't feel like a crazy tone switch after the previous two chapters, but I'm excited! Chapter 33 is a bit of a transition chapter (setting up some important things!) so maybe won't be the most exciting thing to read. But it will include Lily watching Harry in a Gryffindor Quidditch match for the first time and the gang celebrating Sirius’s 36th birthday!🎂🎂🎂 So hopefully you all will enjoy that!! And then Chapter 34 will be a Harry POV and will feature some good old-fashioned teenage romance drama😅

Chapter 3 of The Joker and The Queen has taken soooo long to write because it's something I sort of have to be in the right mindset for. (I still don't have a full outline for it because I posted the first chapter impulsively before I really thought about the plot very much lol) But I'm hoping it will be worth the wait!! The chapter will feature Lily meeting Fleamont and Euphemia (and possibly some Potter extended family members too) for the first time. I've never written James's parents before, so I'm excited!

Oh man, oh man. What can I say about the James lives au?? I'm currently drafting multiple vague outline ideas as I work through the timeline that I want it to take place in. But, despite what I've said previously, I'm finding myself starting to lean towards setting it in the OotP universe after all. (but no promises yet!) I'm staying kind of vague about the plot of this since it's still very much under consideration, but I'll just say that Peter's betrayal and its ramifications will be a major focus. The betrayal will happen slightly differently than it does in canon (as some of you have already guessed!), and I expect it to be devastating😈

Forever is the Sweetest Con is a fic that has been percolating in my brain for a WHILE now. I haven't officially outlined it yet, but I already made the banner so it's officially happening! It will be canon divergent, and I'm excited to explore the cat-and-mouse dynamic that I envision when I think about this one.

Fragile Little Flame is a fic inspired by Taylor Swift's "I Know Places" and is also one that I already have a banner and title for, but no outline. It'll be a post-war Hinny fic (I've been wanting to return to writing them!) and will take place in the 19 years between the end of DH and the epilogue. I haven't really thought about the plot in detail yet, but it probably won't be epilogue-compliant. Harry will (probably) be a Quidditch player rather than an Auror, and the fic will explore Harry and Ginny recovering from the war and rebuilding their relationship amongst the chaos of both grief and fame.

Peter slams his cards down in victory, looking up with a smile, “Oh and Benji and Lily disappeared, according to him he never had a chance in school so it’s time to shoot his shot.”

“Cool, cool. Anyone need anything?” James stands brushing a hand down his knees.

Thank you @arsi-lehkonen for tagging me! ❤️ Let me warn you tho, I don't even know if I have 2, 3 or 4 wips because I haven't touched them in weeks, and they're very crude fragments of rough drafts, saved all over the place, and just before seeing this tag I had thought of deleting them all. So, you kept them saved for another 12 hours.

Rules: share seven wip lines/parts.

I'll share longer parts under the cut for the reasons told above. If I decide to let these ideas go, at least I've posted some of it out there.

Smut heavy, be warned. Tried to pick tame bits.

1. "No, not whipped cream," Roope said when they were planning for the show. "Cupcake frosting will hold up so much better and we can take it slow. Cream gets runny."

"Should the frosting be pink?" Sebastian suggested. "It's a Valentine's day special after all."

Roope snorted out a short laughter and shook his head, letting it hang slightly tilted to the side and shooting a mildly amused look at Sebastian.

"No, man," he said like stating the obvious, "Pink will look like you had a nasty skin condition going on, and nobody will believe that I would put my mouth on your dick with it. You could as well suggest chocolate."

(From a sequel to money shot where Sepe is still a Brind'Amour boy and Roope is an onlyfans star and ig hottie, and they're shooting a live scene for Roope's OF. Ao3 draft set to be deleted next Friday)

2. "Do you want to be fucked into the dirt? Like a filthy little animal? Or do you want me to get you back into the house and in bed?"

Sebastian looks up at Brent, bites his lip and releases it slowly, licking the bit, red mark moist and clean.

"Yes."

(From a pwp piece where Sepe takes a trip to the ranch. This one is a Tumblr draft bc I'm afraid of Google docs. I'd have to research shooting to make any progress with this bc I'm not in the mood for writing porn and the scene needs a setting and some build-up anyway)

3. Sebastian smiles as he greets him, and his eyes linger in Rod’s, the gaze smoldering enough to slow down time the same way Sebastian can do with a puck around the goal.

A languid blink, like the kid's lids were heavy from wet dreams, it's like a slow motion deke that takes out the goalie, leaving the net gaping, offering itself to be taken.

The little pink tongue slips out to wet Sebastian's bottom lip as he nods his greeting, "Hi, Roddy. How're you tonight?"

"Oh, I'm fine if you're fine. You're fine, right?"

"Sure. I'm fine. Prepared and hungry."

"Hungry sounds good."

Sebastian lets a rippling smile flash on his lips. He stops right by Rod’s side and brushes the sleeve of his jacket lightly with his knuckles.

"So hungry," he says, lowering his voice and locking his eyes in his coach's. "Starving." He pauses, further lowering his voice until it's a soft whisper. "Desperate."

(Coach x player smut, working title Game Day Suits might as well be the summary)

4. "You want to throw me in as a bait for Burnzie?" Sebastian chuckled and scratched the back of his head before sticking his tongue out from the corner of his mouth and running it over his upper lip. "Not gonna lie, that sounds hella hot."

(A super messy pwp that might be a gangbang or tons of tension or may just become a build-up for the ranch fic. Anyway, I found a pun in a Tumblr text post very inspiring and use it as a working title: call him jesus the way i make him bred and whine)

5. Pekka wakes up to a bunch of notifications on his phone screen: three missed video calls, two from Juuse, one from Sebastian. In addition to that, his inbox is flooded with video messages.

(All Stars '22 where S and Juuse promoted beverages, this is all I have written for the idea @hard4softthings gave me as an independent sequel to Summer Kisses)

6. Teemu wandered in wearing a patterned silk robe.

"Playboy night," Trevor said from the corner of his mouth.

Jamie would learn in a moment that Playboy night meant bunnies.

(From my eternity project where Mr Selanne hosts sex parties, pimping out young guys as treats for his friends and associates, this is probably the AU version)

7. “Of course. That's what they're here for. I keep a petting zoo, not an exhibition! It isn't look, don't touch. Whatever you can look, you can touch, too,” Teemu grins.

Opening Line Patterns

Thanks for the tags, @kay-elle-cee and @jfleamont it's been a while since I've seen this one do the rounds!

Rules: List the first line of your last 10 (or however many you have) posted fics and see if there’s a pattern!

1 - a touch of magic (a magic touch) It has often been said that a witch or wizard may not remember their first use of magic. 2 - to dream the impossible dream The unmistakable sound of his best friend calling his name rouses him. 3 - call me, maybe Lily opens her eyes with a start, her heart racing in her chest. 4 - a day like any other The day starts as any other, they wake, they hustle, they share breakfast and attend classes. 5 - Just some guy Leaning on the wooden railing, Lily closes her eyes and breathes deeply, the cold fills her lungs, the smell of fresh snow and pine. 6 - Specular “How could you be so reckless? —What were you thinking?— Were you even thinking? You’re smarter than this—” 7 - What I've felt, what I've known The journey back to Hogwarts is long, but for once Lily wills the time to slow. 8 - you don't know me (but I know you)  Long black curtains rattle into place, edges fluttering an inch from the floor and spanning the width of the room.

9 - Times Like These Evening light spills through the open curtains, the shadow of a young willow tree cast upon the wooden floor.

10 - Class of '78 The landscape is unchanged, yet she is different.

I guess I like to set the scene, even the dialogue holds no question to the tone of what's to come...

Currently watching: Nothing really, just occasional episodes of reality/lifestyle/music shows like Masked Singer Suomi, garden or house shows. Very non-fixated on stuff.

Currently reading: A novel in Finnish by Riikka Pulkkinen, I keep forgetting the title lol. Paras mahdollinen maailma? Sounds about right. It's driving me insane and not in a good way, it's well written but it's a little too-- clean and pretentious, the main character has TOO much of a main character syndrome, and the characters are all so... artistic or semi artistic, urban hyper european actors and academics and, uh, sipping wine and smoking cigarettes and pining and having poetic vanilla sex and dialogues that are like from witty plays or movies. But at the same time I want to know what happens. I listened the first half of it as an audio book and it worked better for me in that format, but then my app time expired and i got a physical copy from the library.

Current obsession: I'm not really obsessed with anything right now, my interests are kinda superficial and well in balance.
