When your on your deathbed, you don’t care about things. All you care about are people. 💕 Our trip to a private Art, Music & Healing retreat in Costa Rica fell on the one year mark that Drew was admitted into the hospital and nearly died last year. This retreat was rejuvenating for us both to get through the trauma we are shedding. The weather, five star food and beautiful accommodations were awesome, but it was the PEOPLE that made this retreat so special. When it looks like the world is falling apart around you, find good people who are doing great things and they will uplift and give you hope. There are many out there. 💫YOU ARE THE UNIVERSE💫 In disempowering women, the Patriarchy created a burden for men that they were/are incapable of bearing. By emasculating men in retaliation, women have created an ideal that men cannot live up to. This isn’t about men getting in touch with their feminine side. Women, to regain their freedoms and survive in a world where fathers and partners suppress and then abandon them, have been overly identified with their masculine aspect for decades. We ALL need to get in touch with both these polarities and find the appropriate balance and harmony for us personally. In this society, we are able to take a two dimensional view on ourselves and say “this is my thing and I’m sticking to it.” We identify others by these masks and wonder why we are deeply unhappy. There are a multitude of facets to be expressed in any given moment. When we become conscious of these energies and learn how to express them in a beneficial way we see that every act, every word and response is nuanced one way or the other. Dominant is not necessarily masculine. Submissive is not necessarily feminine. And these flavours can interplay within a relationship of any kind without us having to dictate if it is ok for a specific gender role to demonstrate them. I believe in this sense we are all have the capacity to be Two Spirited. It covers more than 70% of the Earth’s surface, which is wild when you really think about that. And we've researched and charted and explored and viewed more of our skies and space than we have the seas and oceans right here at our feet. Water makes up nearly 70% of our bodies, + over 70% of our hearts and brains, we are salt and water, like the ocean, pulled by the moon, just like the sea. . Water is all magic and full of power too. This is the #PeterIredale, a #shipwreck near Fort Stevens, on the @oregon__coast. It ran ashore in 1906, was abandoned, and over the last 100 years it has slowly deteriorated. All that metal and man-made strength, slowly turning back into bits of the Universe again. Just a rusted steel skeleton left, a memory. . And there's Abby, looking so tiny but fierce, sitting right in the middle of the freezing surf on the beach, all peaceful vibes and one with the water and the waves and the Universe. We've visited this spot twice. Can't wait to go back to the beach again. Soon. Eu ouvi quando ela gritou por ajuda...

mas o que eu não vi, foi a mudança no seu sorriso,

a quebra no tom da sua voz...

Eu não notei que o seu silêncio era também uma resposta,

A dor estava a sugar a sua luz,
