I have a simple fascination and joy in the thought that, for the Ghost King AU, most of the time Danny is literally so normal compared to other ghosts.
Like, he’s a kid. He looks like a kid. Going by canon appearances, he is the most human looking ghost we see (aside from Ellie). Even Plasmius is more inhuman, which is where all the vampire jokes come from. Every single one of this enemies is off even in a human disguise. They’re not human, and people don’t expect them to be.
So aside from the implications of Danny looking like a child ghost, I wonder what other characters would think if they summon the Ghost King, expecting this huge monstrosity worse than anything they’ve ever seen, and getting a totally normal human-looking kid.
I’d be terrified. Because if horror movies have taught us anything, it’s that the most innocent and normal looking people are the worst monsters you’ve ever seen.
Like, what is he hiding??

I have come to the heartbreaking conclusion that I will not be watching the latest season of Chicago PD.
Honestly the last season nearly destroyed me and I don’t think I have it in me to watch Gwen ruin what was once my safety ship. Hailey and Jay deserve so much better and I will not be relying on the ridiculous writing that is happening in the writers room for any sense of closure because as we can clearly see that is just not going to happen.
I would like to believe that Hailey and Jay got married and are very much happy together thank you very much. Because that is what they deserve.
I refuse to be disrespected by this atrocious storyline for them. We know this is not how things would have worked out had there been some real writing happening.
I will gladly stick to the fanfics written by the very talented people in our fandom who know how to deliver on an ending.
I wish I could stay I would stay just to watch Tracy but honestly I did that with the previous season and it didn’t do me any favours. I won’t be doing that again.
Sorry, but I’m out.

kind of crazy how mike said in a moment of vulnerability and weakness that he wants to be needed and to be of use and good at something, and then a large chunk of the fandom just decided to validate all of his worst thoughts & fears and suddenly reduce him to a weak, incapable, mindless, unloved wastoid wimp that's everything his low self-esteem tells him he is and nothing like how the people in his life see him (or what the narrative itself has shown us since the very first episode). even crazier when the people that do that call themselves mike fans lol but i'm 😴😴😴

Breathing into a paperbag thinking about the possibility of Elbaf digging the conflict from Water 7 back up again and maybe exploring some long-term repercussions of Luffy and Usopp’s fight that not even they themselves were aware of and and and and and-
LISTEN. the Water 7 Saga absolutely rewired the way I understood the crew and how each member views themselves and the roles they play. And it’s been some time since the Strawhat’s exploration of the New World has allowed them to really take time and consider themselves and each other like that again.
And Elbaf just sounds (MUAH) like such a wonderful opportunity to do exactly that, it sounds perfect, primarily in the way it ties all the way back to the Strawhat’s early days on the Grand Line. And when you look at the presence of the Giant Pirates in Little Garden and Enies Lobby, what they share is that both times the Giants Served the purpose mirroring the conflicts between the crewmates and highlighting the importance of loyalty and comradery. Shit writes itself. Come on Elbaf don’t let me down. Come on Usopp I know you can hit us with another world shattering arc just take the stage love.

I really try not to pick sides when it comes to Kikyo and Kagome in regards to Inuyasha because I’ve always felt that depending on the time period, one or the other makes a good match for Inuyasha. Like in the past Kikyo was Inuyasha’s first love—and he was her last and only love. Inuyasha was young, reckless and bent on becoming a full demon. But before Kikyo dies, she helps to remedy that obsession and at the same time begins to help Inuyasha become a better demon.
In the future, Kagome helps Inuyasha understand humans better, this in return helps him to become more compassionate towards them. His willingness to help others is solely influenced by Kagome—going off on missions that are not specifically related to finding the jewel shards and Naraku are all choices that past-Inuyasha would have surely hesitated with. Thanks to the experiences that they’ve shared together, both Inuyasha and Kagome have grown significantly (physically and mentally) since season 1. Which is why it’s so annoying that a lot of the times whenever Kikyo appears, Kagome reverts into this annoyingly jealous child, which she technically is.
The tragedy of Kikyo’s death and her forced return sometimes makes it hard to hold her accountable for the decisions she makes. As a priestess, she’s helpful when she chooses to be, but it’s really annoying that every time the three of them meet up it turns into a novela, suddenly Kikyo and Kagome can’t stand to breath the same air.
Anyways, I’m nearing the end of season 6 and I’m not saying Kikyo should have stayed dead, because I know she still has a part to play in defeating Naraku, but just maybe Inuyasha and Kagome were all the better for it?

During the writers and actors strikes going on rn it's been making me think of Newsies (fucking love the musical, 100/10) and I just wanna know one thing. It's a VERY popular musical that Disney has produced TWICE (movie music, 1990s I believe, Broadway recording, 2016 ish). So I believe I can safely assume that at least some of the higher ups in some of these companies have seen it, or at least know the plot.
And if they do, DID THEY LEARN NOTHING? THE ENTIRE SHOW IS ABOUT THE NEWSPAPER DOING EXACTLY WHAT THEY'RE DOING AND GUESS WHAT? THEY GIVE INTO THE DEMANDS AND COMPROMISE
and here's the fun bit, it's based on a true story. So if some poor kids were tired of getting taken advantage of in the late 1800s and got the big old rich guys to listen to them. What makes you even PONDER that these writers and actors (some of which were PART of productions of these kinds of stories) are going to give up and continue to be taken advantage of? Get a fucking grip AND PAY YOUR FUCKING WRITERS AND ACTORS
You guys would be NOTHING without them. Disney wouldn't have made it these last 100 years without everyone working their damn hardest to make a movie everyone can love. Netflix, Hulu, Prime, and everyone else would be distant memories without the hard fucking work people put into their jobs. SO PAY YOUR FUCKING WORKERS
Those workers add HUMANITY and emotion and care into everything they do and that's not something you can replace with a fucking robot either
