Freaks out if theres even the slightest hiccup in technology, blames the computer, says 'it would be so much easier without the computer.' The computer is how we match 1000 names to 1000 faces, so hes welcome to try that on his own.

It is against the rules to show the photos to the students because, especially at high and middle schools, it means that some kids will want 10 takes. Furthermore, it means that everyone will line up behind the 'cool one that let's you see your photo,' which means no one will go to any of the other lines. When I tell him not to do this he does it anyway and says to the students 'well I'll hmget in trouble if I show it to you, but if you walk back here while I'm adjusting my lights I cant stop you from looking.' I have told him that we need to all be on the same page or it looks unprofessional, and that continuing to do it is blatantly undermining my authority as a crew lead. He says 'I didnt mean to undermine your authority.' Yes you did. You literally did it. You did it in front of me. On purpose. Like at least pretend to respect me.

But probably the biggest one- blatant violation of the no-touch policy. He keeps asking kids for high fives and its like... dude... dud we not just have an entire pandemic? But also he will physically move people to adjust them. Without their consent. Which is the OTHER reason we have this policy- because we are strangers and they did not consent to be touched.

People have complained about that last one, and he appears not to listen when I remind him that the policy is there for our safety and theirs.

And it kinda comes down to that he doesnt respect anyone. Because hes been a photographer 15 years, so why listen to the bitch half your age that's only been in the business five years? Never mind that he couldnt figure out lighting basics in training so... whatever.

Tomorrow is his last day and it cant come sooner.

when you jumped to face the intruder, johnny looked down to give you your modesty, put his eyes locked on the jagged lines criss crossing on your thighs

he looked up slowly, your paused movements giving him view to the faint scars on your wrist

swallowing, johnny turned on his heel and left, making sure to close the door when he left

he didn't avoid you; you were both dating and practically lived at the same house

however, he avoided the confrontation for fear of irritating you

you pulled him away from the group while darry and soda tossed the football around, two-bit occasionally jumping in to intercept the ball cleanly and take off in a sprint

you asked him if he told anyone, and he gave you a questioning look

"my scars, johnnyboy. did you... tell anyone?"

he shrugs. "did you want me to?"

your beyond disappointed at yourself for possibly disappointing johnny and feeling upset that he would waste his time with you

HOWEVER

he absolutely DOES NOT think that :')

anyhow,

if/when you finally stop turning to that to take out your emotions, (when ur snuggling or in private) johnny rubs his thumbs over your scars

one time, he whispered "you're so strong"

you were asleep (or were you?😏) so you didnt answer

if you decided to wear a short sleeve or let your scars show, johnny would never leave your side: he gets a lot of looks because of the marred skin on his face

darry sat you down, though, as the mother that he is

it was a simple "you don't need to do that anymore, we're always here for you, you're part of the gang" speech

it was touching, but funny

dally had to be held back whenever someone pointed or laughed or made a comment about your wrists

most likely by two, darry, and soda

just the way one of your hand was holding your phone, which your eyes were so focused on, while the other held onto the wet bottom rim of your shirt. the way the fingers of your one hand were dancing across the keyboard of your phone, trying their best as your hands were shaking from the cold. scaramouche wanted to help you escape from the cold as well, but so far, there was nothing he could do.

in the bus, two seats were free, which was perfect. scaramouche got to the seat first, his eyes on his phone just like you were used to it. he didnt say anything, but you could tell he made space for you, when he left the outer seat free. on days were there were more than two seats left, he sat on the outer seat since he prefered it if no one sat next to him. but not this time. you let yourself down on the seat next to him, and laid your hands in your laps, in hope to be able to warm them up, to no avail. scaramouche noticed, and took something from his pocket, to hand it to you. to your surprise, it was a rechargable pocket warmer which... looked like a purple cat paw.

"are you sure-", scaramouche didnt let you finish your question when he placed the pocket warmer into your hands. thanks to him, you finally warmed up a bit further.

your bus was about to arrive at your stop, and you wanted to give scaramouche his pocket warmer back.

"thank you again for helping me today, heres your pocket warmer", you held it in your hand for him to take, but he shook his head.

"keep it... until next time", he whispered the last three words while turning his head back to the window. you havent thought about it much, but to you, his voice felt like a warm summer storm, with warm winds. you wished you could hear it more, but it seemed like he wasnt much of a talker.

you let out a warm chuckle, not thinking much of it, but for scaramouche, it made his heart bubble up. a sensation he wasnt sure if he ever felt before. "see you buddy", you placed a hand on his head while standing up to leave the bus, waving at him with one hand, and holding the paw pocket warmer in the other.

scaramouche would have given away his stuff to just anyone. he wasnt sure when he would actually see you again, because unlike you, he did not understand yet, why you just showed up again. the pocket warmer was his reason to talk to you again, and see you again.

In main story laoft, durant does not see roman and remy's dalliances as important or a threat to him/his control over roman.

in this story. he does

in an agonizing display of cruelty, he kidnaps remy and presents him to night roman as a gift.

its a terrible position - roman cant reject the gift and risk durants anger, which will end in disaster for both him and remy... but niether can he accept it and walk back into his day life with the knowledge that remy will remain here, trapped, alone with durant, and impossibly far away from anything roman can do to protect him

Roman takes the only path he can find - feign gratefulness so deep that he no longer had need of his day left, and giving it up. because at least if theyre both trapped remy's not alone.

Remy and Roman disappear the same night, stolen from their beds without a sound or a trace left behind.

In wickhills, Logan is incandescent with fury and patton cries so miserably the woods and hills around his house are bone-dead silent. not even the birds want to sing in his presence.

May sits alone in her house, the door locked, refusing to answer for anyone.

The Adams' put up posters across all of southeast ohio knowing nobody is going to call

And emile watches them all and churns with guilt because he didnt know remy, not really, so why does he think he has a right to be this sad?

Back in faerieland, things escalate in a bad way very quickly. Durant coerces Roman and Remy into increasingly intense sexual scenarios for his entertainment.

in the midst of this, having only one other person you can rely on or trust can, coupled with the rapid increase in intimacy, cross the wires a bit, and wwhoops, Remy and roman are in love now

Remy: or whatever passes for love in this shitshow Roman: you dont get to tell me i dont really love you Remy, crying: ok

and tbh, all of this is more of just context for what im ACTUALLY interested which is

they get out. now what?

Because in the meantime, Emile has reached out to patton, we still have LAMP and remile, and now we have pair-of-cats-that-cant-be-separated creativisleep

Logan: you thought canon logan had anger issues? ha. ha i say. this logan would kill a man sooner than let them make roman or remy even slightly uncomfortable. he'll snarled at his own mother if she gets too close. he'll snarl at thomas, though he'll feel bad about both. this is actually! not great! because logan tried to guard from the outside looks a lot like Guards Keeping Us Inside to remy and roman, so they have to figure out how to navigate logans nuclear reactor protectiveness vs it wigging roman and remy out.

Virgil: Virgil waking up is the catalyst for them getting free, and in the midst of his horror falls in QP love at first sight with remy, who was so brave and so strong and kept roman safe when virgil couldnt.

Remy: i dont know if 'safe' is even slihtly accurate Virgil: the safety of his heart and mind are of equal importance to me as his body. you have cherished both, and you can have anything you ask for as long as i live Remy: [gay fluster noises]

Patton keeps determinedly dragging emile to mays house (where they are holed up for close access to dizzy and jax) even though Emile feels like he's intruding

Patton, constantly on the verge of tears: I almost lost Roman and i've decided im in love with all of you and i CATEGORICALLY refuse to lose anyone else Emile: um Patton: RE. FUSE.

so pattons HOPE is that they all wind up in a big polycule pile, and its doesnt... not do that, but its not quite as clearcut as all that.

Theres stumbling blocks at the beginning withboth remy and roman wavering on whether or not their romantic feelings are genuine, and subsequently wondering if the fact that theeyre still in love with Emile and LAM respectively means that they arent.

this would go through some oscillations of both of them trying to deny those feelings to "prove" their love for each other, vs trying to push the other away so they can go be with p[eople they "really love"

do! not! separate them!

in my head this ends with romantic LAMP, Romantic Remile, Romantic Patmile, and QPR losleep and sleepxiety - everybody else is friends and cuddle buddies

Remy is actually super comforted by the fact that Patton is in love with him/attracted to him but never asks for more than friendship because he knows remy isnt. Metamour besties.

Dizzy suffers a lot from this ordeal (she hid from durant and subsequently roman, knowing if he found her as romans familiar it would be catastrophic) so their bond is.... stretched, lets say. overtaxed. she's a little sicklier. a little smaller, a little more timid. hides in remy or virgils jackets frequently

All of which is to say that this is a fraught extended metaphor that sometimes trauma changes you, and it changes your relationships, and it changes the way you feel attraction, and all of that is okay. it doesnt make those feelings or relationships less real or loving or valid.

anyway this is my monster. im not going to write it (please dont ask) but some people have expressed that they were glad i still shared it, so have some bite sized angst

1st off, tell me if he EVER, at all , ONCE actively helps you

Chapter 1, Otempes does most of it

Chapter 2, Wiscara tags alongside you to take her scissors back and beats up herbrother ro do so

Chapter 3 you just go with Otempes, but THIS is when you meet Dussekar

Chapter 4 is primarily a solo mission, with Wiscara telling you where to go

Chapter 5 everyone tags along, EXCEPT Dussekar (put a pin in that for me)

Chapter 6, Tucker (who does not need to help) convinces you to take a more active approach instead of waiting for a problem to occur and then solving it (see chapters 1, 2, and 4)

Chapter 7 Base cleph and Otempes solve this, you coming along because Claire told you too.

Chapter 8 EVERYONE gets involved

...yeah hes not the defenition of a "team player".

2nd, Dussekar is just some guy, just some guy that got what he wanted because of a likely meaningless task

3rd, he seems to be apathetic or blatantly NOT CARE about scriptliss despite saying that he does. (put a note about the "apathetic part")

D: ...So you have no idea who released you?

S: N-no... I couldnt see behind me because my entire body was chained... I have no idea who cut the chains either

(Dussekar glances to the paper ball chained to scriptliss's ankle)

D: Hmm... well it seems they missed a chain. And the clamp is tightly secured. Does it hurt to walk?

S: N-n-no... *sniff*

D: Whats the matter?

S: It's just that *sniff* You knew i was chained up... Didnt you?

D: Well... not quite. I heard some rumors. I knew your general whereabouts, but i had no idea you were actually chained up...

D: Im sorry for not going to check up on you sooner. I figured that, wherever you were, you'd be fine on your own.

S: But *sniff* Thats how we lost 1x1x1x1 to the void, too. You assumed that he was safe enough on his own...

D: Hey, can we change the subject? The protagonist is right over there.

S: Oh, hi! Didn't see you over there, Protagonist. Were're just chill out here. Isn't that right Dussekar?

D: Absolutely frigid.

This shows us a lot about the characters. Dussekar knew about rumors, meaning he forgot or didnt care to check on Scriptliss, who was IN HIS. WASTEBASKET.

Scriptliss does actually bring this up in their conversation (see red text), instead of confronting this or apologising for it, he changes the subject, focusing on protag.

Once scriptliss notices this he seems a lot more extroverted and friendly from his demeanor not even 5 seconds ago. Most likely scriptliss does not want anyone to find out what happened in pr2 but he does bring up some very good points.

There was no reason Dussekar should not have been able to check in on Scriptliss. Hes immortal, Dussekars immortal, his wastebasket is RIGHT THERE.

(seriously buddy, you cant spend 5 minutes to attempt to reconcile with you only remaining friend? he seems very willing now)

idk man dussekar definitely looked like he was considering it. Its bad for antagon because hes a CHILD but its worse for scriptliss because hes immortal. like c'mon dude this is greek mythology levels of punishment.

TLDR:

Dussekar as a character seems to show that he does not care about his old friend and has no issues with sending anyone he disagrees with to infinity jail.

it gets better after apologising about screaming at antagon and talking to scriptliss though :thumbs_up:
