I’m having feelings at the ungodly hour of 3:15AM so yall get to know my feelings.

My self-proclaimed best friend misses me. And I know she means well, but I don’t know how to tell her that she gets too excited in a conversation and interrupts me. I don’t know how to tell her that I know when her attention drifts, that I know when she spaying attention to everyone in the group except for me.

How do I describe to her the way his gaze feels on me? I feel nothing but friendship for this man, mind you. But he’s patient when words don’t come immediately. He’s funny and witty and sarcastic and nerdy and we share a lot of the same interests. How do I tell her that he listens to me? That he doesn’t talk over me, that his eyes find mine when I try to interject in a conversation? How do I tell her that when we’re in a group, he’s the only one who listens to me?

How do I tell her that I’ve gotten used to fighting for a space to speak, to share my thoughts? That I’ve had to learn that the space I take up is mine, it belongs to me, I’m allowed to use it? How do I tell her he sets that space out for me, shows me to my seat, and lets me talk until I’m done?

this is a poster i made for my call to action assignment in humanities! it's a bunch of basic and easy stretches for people who sit and work at a desk all day (me)

the idea is that you'd put the poster up above ur desk and do the stretches every 30 minutes or so,, the whole routine won't take more than about 6 minutes to complete and when done regularly it can prevent wrist, shoulder, neck and back pain! :)

all these stretches can be done while sitting (although i HIGHLY recommend you stand up and move around while taking a break from working)

listen there really was just something about how in the book, snow’s 3-page descent from hesitant lover boy to deluded psychopath happens entirely in his mind. lucy gray gives him no indication whatsoever that she suspects him, that she’s going to leave or betray him. he’s just sitting quietly in the cabin waiting for her to return when that seed of calculated suspicion, which he has needed to survive the capitol, takes a hold of him and chokes the life out of any goodness left inside him. it really drives home your terror as a reader that “oh my god did he kill her? did she escape? what happened to her? why would he even think that?” in a way that when the movie had to adjust for visualization it lost some of that holy shit this guy has lost it emphasis.

If I could go to college without debt I would make it my job to get a degree in every little thing that interested me. I'd get a doctorate in film studies. I'd have a bachelor's degree for every science I like. I'd try to learn at least 5 languages with varying results. I would learn something "useful" like coding and then follow it up with a ""useless"" degree like art history. I'd be the world record speed run holder for getting every degree possible.

But I can't afford college without going into massive debt, so instead I spent the last 5 years trying to figure out what I am passionate enough about to consider going into debt over, because unfortunately being passionate about everything is extremely expensive to pursue.

Book 2 au: sparring sessions and short hair katara

They like to have sparring sessions in order to keep their bending skills sharp. They allow themselves to go all out and not hold back at all cause they know if anyone got hurt, Katara could just heal them
