reminder to both myself and whoever may see this that its okay to mess up. whether you’re baking and you overcook it, or you mess up an easy question on your homework, etc. its okay. it happens. and its okay if it happens again next time. its also okay to not always give everything your all. sometimes you just need to relax and do what you feel comfortable doing to get whatever you need to do, done. its okay. it doesn’t make you lazy, it just means you’re working with what you’ve got. even if what you’ve got doesn’t feel like its enough. as long as you’re trying, its enough. you are enough. everybody has their own strengths and limits, whats important is that you listen to and follow yours. you are not your parent, sibling, friend, or the girl you saw studying with really neat notes on tiktok. you are you. and you are enough. :] <3

Do you ever search for the perfect fanfic? Hours and hours looking for the specific characters with just the right plot? Then when you have finally found something you are obsessed with, the writer doesn’t finish the story? (Which is fine because I completely understand how hard it is to keep up that level of creativity and writing) And you are gutted because it is literally the perfect story your mind had been craving. It's okay
Today was a rough day but it ended amazing. You ended on the biggest high of your life. But then something went wrong and everything came crashing down. It's okay.
You feel like you should have enjoyed the moment more when it lasted because now you feel worse than before the Good Thing happened. It's okay.
You can cry knowing that even if you had the most amazing day it still hurts to go home to people who don't make you feel the best. Someday it will get better and you can ride out the highs of your life without worrying about falling off them too soon.
At least that's what I'm hoping
