Hey ya’ll I need some help and I hope I don’t regret asking this on social media.

So I’m currently writing a story but I’ve got to the chapter that revolves around an orphanage. So my question, how do orphanages work? I know what they are but I want to know more details, like the schedule, how things are organized, et cetera. I’ve tried doing lots of research but I’ve come up with almost nothing. I’ve been trying to write the chapter but it’s hard because I can’t get it as accurate as I want. It’s only chapter 3 and I want to continue writing. Can ya’ll help?

Prove me wrong: Marching Band is a sport.

I mean, there’s so much proof! A sport is defined as: “an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment”

So here’s my argument. Marching band DEFINITELY consist of lots of physical exertion. I mean we’re marching, standing in positions that are painful, and some of us are carrying huge fricken instruments like tubas and such. And then the front ensemble who have to push those heavy things back to where they were. Next, marching band is competitive! We go against other marching bands and try to win! Also, it takes a lot of skill to play in a marching band. We have to memorize music, play said music, AND march it on the field. Even color guard has to do that minus the music but add in flags and stuff. And drum majors have to memorize there movements so we don’t go all out of wack! So I’d like to see y’all try and debate 😎.

So I made this AU called the Selcouth AU and here's some information. I’ll post a character and describe there personality and stuff one by one DON’T STEAL OR REPOST

The Selcouth Alternate Universe is an apocalyptic world created by Varah-X. In this AU, the world suffered the near end. Huge natural disasters took place, war broke out, and billions died. The continents collided but were separated by two leads called Metoniasin and Schitzindra. The population is about 630 people and counting. In order to save the planet, it's up to these people to rebuild it. There are strict rules and strict life. No marriage, no alcohol or drugs, no religion, no tardiness, and most important, always have a weapon. Also there are no last names given. Everyone is assigned a group and a partner at the age of 13. School last till the age of 18. At that age, you will be given a cabin. To keep the population going, every girl at the age of 21 must go into pregnancy. Unlike today's pregnancy, this is formed by a pill and DNA from both parents. If twins are present, one must be sent to the other lead. Groups are broken up by Zoifins, Caretakers, Dirlvins, Firkalins, Trisins, and Bamplers. Each group has a section that is based on your acts and personality traits. Each group has a leader and vice leader. Each group trains for the next war. For shelter, they use camps, tents, and cabins. For transportation it's jeeps, 4-wheelers, bikes, boats, and sometimes trains. For food and water it's mainly meat, vegetables, and water, sometimes juice. Each lead has a king and a queen called the Kitcher and Lynch. There's no such thing as paper money or credit/debit cards. Also everyone is assigned a color at birth. There given this colored necklace (like a choker) to them with there color. Each one has there own power and character trait. The goal is to survive, wars are happening every other day. Here are what each group, section, and color have.

War: no need for it, but will go at it

Main Food and Drink: plants, juice. 2 meals a day

School System: not the best, but fair

Population: 302

Payment: gold

Main Shelter: cabins

Main Transportation: jeeps

Schitzindra

War: constant war

Focus: war and craft

Main Food and Drink: meat, water. 3 meals a day

School System: good but unfair

Population: 306

Payment: silver

Main Shelter: tents

-weaponry: In charge of making weapons

-teachers: teaches students

-hikers: finds new land and test it

-signers: makes deals and compromises

-finders: digs around the area in search of supplies

-musicians: makes music, choir, band

-artists: makes art locations, blue prints, comedy

-dancers: dance fighting

-swimmers: swimming first, sports

Bampters

-techs: works with computer science, drones

-painters: makes war paint and make up

-hunters: hunts for food, hunts evil spirits and monsters

-undertaker: deals with the dead

Red- destruction, wise

Orange- strength, bravery

Yellow- immortal, sneaky/stealth

Green- animals, kind/good liar

Teal- mind control, responsible

Blue- water and ice, creative

Purple- telepathy, persistant

6. Allison? Well uh...I don’t have too much head canons for her yet so...yeah

7. I don’t have much headcanom for Thomas either

8. Grant is a depressive mess. He’s like a son to Thomas (but isn’t) he’s also like an older brother to Wally

9. Wally is an energetic and bubbly person

10. Murray is..wow I love him. He’s super..just awesome. I have a lot of headcanon for him in this au, I’ll talk more about him in future posts

11. Shawn is very lonely. He has trouble getting a gf

12. Jack is a super introvert and hates people

13. Lacie is a super energetic person. Very sporty

14. Last Bertrum is um. Idk he’s very intense I gotta say
