People think this shit is so cute but the seal is obviously terrified by being cornered and poked at with the squeegie

Cute little guy, not cool on the part of the cleaners though.

So there’s this seal rehabilitation center I like to watch the livestream of from time to time. This morning was pool cleaning day, the day they weigh the rescue seals and photograph them to keep track of their rehabilitation progress as a sudden change in weight is a serious health indicator among other things. The box helps keep them on the scale as, otherwise, you cannot weigh bouncy boys.

This seal was having NONE OF IT. One of the workers was attempting to get the seal to turn so they could get a photo of its side. (They are not hitting the seal, at most she is giving him a little shove in the direction it needs to turn.) HE DID NOT LIKE BEING TOUCHED WITH THE SQUEEGEE.

He did NOT like his photo being taken!

As soon as they took the box to weigh one of the other seals HE STOLE THE FRIGGIN’ SQUEEGEE!!!

Oh my god you just wont fucking listen. All you wanna hear is what you want, I literally agreed with your dumb ass over switching to a sustainable lifestyle, but with the extreme population growth and lack of people willing to handle and change the system. Human population has boomed at a alarming rate. Its not the amount of people, it's the rate at which they are born or move from place to place. Too many people are born right here, right now for out current average lifestyle to be sustainable, and fucking news flash you can't just give everyone the resources to be a sustainable and expect that they will automatically do so. It's a deeper cultural issue, for literally everyone on the face of this earth right now. You wanna talk about killing people to make the world work and act like I'm the one saying it? What the fuck are you gonna do when billions of people dont wanna comply with you instantly? Seriously. Tell me, what will you do? Send them to camps? Kill them? Because that's been done hundered of thousands of times, and its just as awful, disgusting and ineffective as ever.

I garentee, you, yourself are not living a absolute sustainable life, and wouldn't be able to give up some of the luxury of sustainable living ((without a massive increase in open source technology and services)) and most governments will not comply either. Dont sit here and bitch about how much better sustainable living would be when you're hardly doing shit.

Human beings, your average people are greedy and awful, its human nature and it's never going to stop, even if you gave every human being a new home, food, and the ability to not be a piece of shit, in the current time and mindset over half the population wouldn't do shit.

We can argue about this all day, but you taking a bow instantly when people call you out of flawed logic and thinking is so pathetic it's almost funny.

it's not solving our "overpopulation" problem, because that was never our problem in the first place!! the problem is the overuse and inequitable distribution of resources

COVID-19 is not "nature taking it's revenge", it's killing the vulnerable, not the corporations and billionaires responsible for the climate crisis

and the whole idea that it's "bringing us closer together" may be true for the upper middle class getting to work from home, but it's absolute bullshit for frontline workers, people who still have to go in to work, and people who can't afford to live now that they aren't allowed to work

What does this say for Sanders? Well, that’s for you to decide. But to me, it says that for 20+ years strong he has shown his public support for LGBT+ persons everywhere, even in the face of ridicule and disrespect. Unlike some, Sanders has always been vocal about his beliefs concerning the LGBT+ community, and he has always held them. Key word always, and not just when doing so might garner him support for his campaigns.
