your art is so gorgeous. i just love the way you make the cat's faces vaguely, humanesque if that makes sense. very intriguing and unique. i just wanted to ask, what is the meaning of the cross-like symbol in some of your oc art? it looks familiar.

Thank you. The symbol is my personal signature. I wanted it to be connected with my own story and therefore it also holds a particular message. There are different variations of it depending on the character.

hi! i find your art really unique and inspiring and the colors you use are lovely, so i wanted to ask about them specifically ; how do you pick the colors you use in your work? ofc just if you want to share! take care ^^

Thank you. I'd be glad to share, although I dont really have a specific method. If this is regarding my full works, I just flat color them and overlay them with 2 of the main colors I used in the work and tweak the opacity (although I prefer my works to be dull and dark). I do this to avoid any figure standing out too much from another and rather make it unite in harmony, if that makes sense haha? I use this method in designing characters as well. Occasionally, I find color pallete from renaissance paintings and vintage illustrations (as I enjoy antiques and different mediums of art for the way they manipulate color). Take care.

could u tell us more about your ocs / sedenu ? 🥺

I wouldn’t know where to start, if I’m to be honest. I have too many characters, haha, so I suppose you’d have to be more specific. On Sedenu, it’s about the lives of the select group of cats that live in ‘the valley’. I have to be sort of vague since each cat has their own troubles and story, I try not to leave any cat behind as they’re dear to me. I’m working on a toyhouse (and several documents as well) that way I can individually organize the cats per tribe with their select storyline and go from there. I’ve yet to finish writing the timeline as it has gotten extremely complicated. Ah, and worldbuilding and all of that I have yet to even explain to myself despite being the author. Not only that, but I’ve fallen quite ill which has only made it more difficult to write or illustrate. I’m glad that some have taken interest in my dearest characters and I hope to share them and their stories.

Take an old doodle of these two. QuailLeaf and the other I have yet to rename due to my constantly changing world rules and logic since I burden myself with the desire of being as realistic as possible, Haha.
