AvA Astro boy au: Purple isn't gold

So the first image is a continuation of the last post where purple takes their first step as a new robotic being. Purples mannerisms are different to gold they not only don't enjoy the same things gold did but can't do things a human can such as eating . Simply Purple isn't Gold, and Mango knows it. Which leads to the breaking point in last image.

Red's request was for real pig but Alan had them settle for a stuffed one. Red is very happy with the outcome.

AvA Astro boy au

So King Orange/Mango is a scientist at rocket corp. He looses his child Gold in tragic accident. In his grief he builds a robot (Purple) that looks exactly like his child to fill the void.

If you know about Astro boy: King Orange/Mango = Tenma, Gold= Tobio, Purple = Astro

More thoughts below :D

-The au is based on the 2009 movie. I watched the 2003 anime at one point but don't remember much XD

-Purple looks exactly like gold but has the purple/ gold marbling to show he is his on being and not gold.

-The Au came to brain because the roles these 3 take in AvA fit really well into Astro boy. Gold dies tragically like Tobio. Tenma and Mango are both grief stricken loosing their kid and do some insane things in response. Astro and purple are both rejected by their fathers initially.
